Daemon does not approve of lucerys's choices

To be honest, it's funny how we all joke about Alicent n Daemon's affair in the book, but it's strikingly accurate to imagine that if they had actually had a child, it would be exactly what Aemond is. Chaotic, messy, stubborn, bold – exhibiting these the full Targaryen demeanor from Daemon, while simultaneously embodying traits of deep silence, depression, and daddy issues of Alicent.

He would likely grapple with a mixture of sadness, envy, and resentment towards their traumatic upbringing, mirroring Alicent's experiences. Additionally, he would likely inherit the lush hair genes from both Daemon and Alicent.😹Furthermore, he would struggle with a sense of duty and guilt just like his mother, only to ultimately fuck it up when father's genes starts showing up.

Also it would be cool to consider how coincidental it is that Vhagar is so closely connected to Daemon. It was ridden by his father, then his wife, and ultimately by Aemond, who could have been his son😅(imagination)

That's why I would have loved Lucemond, because Rhaenyra and Harwin's daughter would likely be a combination of beauty, kindness, bravery, flirtatiousness, fun-loving nature, restlessness, and mischievousness from her both Mom and Dad – perhaps even displaying affection for her uncle (obviously!)😅. This portrayal aligns with both her parents' traits. It makes sense given Daemon and Alicent's obsession with Rhaenyra and potentially extending to Aemond's obsession towards her 😂❤️. ( Pls don't jump Florence hunt is my lucera fancast)

I desperately want season 2 of HOTD to be the season of the Greens.

But not in the ‘I want to see Aegon on the throne’ kind of way. More in the ‘I can’t fucking wait to see these people become the worst versions of themselves imaginable’, kind of way.

I want to see Aemond HAUNTED by Luke’s death. I want him to see Luke in every shadow, his voice in every breath of wind, his eyes in every brown eyed boy that walks by. And I want it to drive him batshit. I want to see Aemond losing his mind over the fact that no matter how many people he kills, how much blood he coats his hands in, that not even killing the entirety of House Strong, can remove the guilt and the boy that haunts him. The one act of violence he never meant to commit. I want to see him try so hard to become a monster so he can stop feeling, but even then it’s not enough. Not enough for him to free himself, or to prevent him from sparing the life of the woman with Luke’s face.

I want to see Aegon come to realise that no amount of love will ever be enough. Not the love of his subjects, not his people, not his mother or his siblings. How could it ever be? And so he will crave more and more of it to desperately try and fill the pit of self hatred and guilt and doubt that forever eats away at him. A festering wound. And I want to watch as this need, one not even the Iron Throne can fill, consumes him. To watch as the throne itself consumes him from the inside out and rips what’s left of him apart. I want to see the death of his children break him in a way he never thought it would, and to go from the apathetic boy he was to a man who will match Rhaenyra and Daemon in violence, done for the love he never showed his boys. For him to never let Jaehaera out of his sight again. For this new love and responsibility to crush and consume him.

I want to watch Alicent wallow in a pit of self loathing and hatred. The guilt of what she’s done to her Rhaenyra, to her children and her grandchildren rip her apart. To watch her truly come to hate her father and what he has made her. I want to watch her fight tooth and nail to get to Halaena and her grandchildren as she hears what Blood and Cheese are doing to her family through the locked door. I want it to make her truly vicious. Truly cruel. I want Alicent and Rhaenyra to desperately try and despise one another when the Blacks take Kings Landing and still fail. Even with the bodies of Lucearys and Jaehearys between them. I want Alicent and Rhaenyra to see what one another have become and actively try to fix each other and simultaneously try to make one another so much worse. To desperately recreate parts of there girlhood, expect instead of Rhaenyra gifting Alicent a new book or a cake she gifts her Otto Hightowers head. I want them to NEVER be able to let one another go. For them to hold one another as Rhaenyra’s rule crumbles and they keep losing there babies. For them realise they have only ever had each other.

Halaena’s dreams and predictions will not be enough to save her children or her brothers. Because no one will ever listen. Not even her mother, the woman willing to do battle with Daemon Targaryen himself for what he had done to her and her babies. I want to see Halaena Targaryen go apeshit and as soon as she is brought before Rhaenyra and Daemon and channel her mother, to wake the dragon and attack them with the nearest weapon available. For her sweet Jaehaerys. To kill them for what they have done and for what they will do. She must stop them, can no one see?

And oh sweet Daeron. All he wants is to defend his family. The one who abandoned him in Old Town. And what that love will do to him.

And don’t get me wrong Rhaenyra deserves to become monstrous as well. After everything she’s suffered, after Luke, heads deserve to roll. And personally I can’t wait to see it.

The new year seemed like a good idea for the Targaryen family, they must have known that as usual chaos would reign, with Criston almost hitting Daemon with a firework, and Helaena bringing her tarantula, Bobby letting him get away and Aegon drunk after drinking beers she found buried in the sand, he almost eats the tarantula, with this background full of chaos and out of control, Luke makes a request to Aemond, they were already living together in Rhaenyra's house after their relationship becomes public, but Lucerys planned to take a more serious step in their relationship, with them going to university together, he decides that they should live together, and Aemond is very happy to finally be alone with his love, and sees this as a new and less troubled phase of his life.

We need to talk about lucerys paying attention to aemond anytime he knows he won't get caught and the implications of that 🤌 like even at the pig scene he's already looking at aemond only stops chewing because of the dish

Like is this not deliberate? He's glancing at everyone but intently looks at aemond at the prayer scenes. Glancing at everyone seems to imply he's checking if everyone is doing it but then he stares right at aemond. This to me means interest, lucerys is less threatened by aemond and more fascinated by him only then he can have the courage to laugh

Then there's this,again the camera brings attention to them when talking about distant relations & while aemond for the first time refuses to look at lucerys, so as to not thinking about the lost relation or thoughts of reconciliation, there's obvious regret & longing on lukes face

Luke is first looking at aemond then he lowers his gaze when he's caught, but aemond instead of preening at the scared reaction from luke like he did during the petition scene, simply averts his gaze and looks sad.

This brings me to the pig dish scene, again lucerys was already looking at aemond as he went about eating. Which is all so fascinating because while he's scared of aemond and avert his gaze, but he openly stare at him when he knows aemond won't be looking back

While aemonds attention is vengeful interest, lucerys's seems more fascinated and longing, and now that we have script lines for the slashing scene we know he felt the horror of what he's done.

He seems to be less scared of what aemond could do to him and more what he's done to aemond.

and idk maybe wishes to reconcile, apologise, which looking at pig scene seems contradictory but again he's a teenager, who doesn't realise that prank might be hurtful or the exent of anger and obsession aemond harbours for him.

Also knowing aemonds interests beside vengeful were not hatred completely and not murderous, I want to explore his side too

No but imagine how hot and accurate this scenario sits with Aemond :

I would have reveled in the scenario of Lucemond mirroring the intricate dynamic between Frollo and Esmeralda. The complexity and intensity of such a situation would have been enthralling. Aemond, similar to Frollo, feigns hatred towards Lucera/Jace due to a childhood incident, masking his true emotions. Initially seeking an apology from his niece, Aemond's feelings evolve into a passionate hatred as she and his strong nephews grow. His aversion extends to elements symbolizing his niece's strength, such as open love marriages and the freedom of girls in Targaryen culture. Despite strictly following the Seven Religion as a Targaryen, Aemond regards himself and others as impure, secretly grappling with a fear of acknowledging his intense longing for his niece's adoration and love. He secretly yearns for her to be his slave, to praise and worship him as her sole deity. However, her stubborn adherence to her mother's path of freedom, challenging him like Esmeralda, incites Aemond's anger. In a tumultuous inner struggle, he grapples with the decision to kill, punish, or forgive her, ultimately becoming entangled in his own obsession. Fearing that he was becoming attracted to what he should hate, Aemond inadvertently draws others into this hatred against her, ultimately losing himself in madness. The intricacies of Aemond's inner battle, mirroring Frollo's, were unfortunately overlooked by HOTD. It would have been so interesting 😭 sadly ik hotd makers are not capable of any this shit😑
