Ok ok ok soo
To start us off, who was your favorite character to write and why?
Hmmm. A great question I'd have to say there are three that tie for first place. Gaster, Niven the Snowdin Library Lizard, and Papyrus. As for why.... Niven is definitely playing heavily into my unabashed love for books and libraries, plus I found it amusing how he seems to be constantly self correcting even without realizing it. Stating something as an absolute fact, then later, often in the same sentence or paragraph, he'll do a 180 and admit that the opposite is actually true, or revise his absolute to allow for a variety of exceptions. It's not something I wrote on purpose, but I noticed it yesterday while rereading the fic from the beginning. Gaster...well Gaster is a genius. He's knowledgeable about so many things from physics to magic and draws upon his fantastic intellect and experience to make the impossible...possible. However he's crippled by his own pride and arrogance. The very same self destructive refusal to admit to the possibility of errors on his part that got him shattered across time and space was very much still there when he came back. He was a fun character to write, especially through his many Journal Entries. And Papyrus. He's both funny and powerful. Sure he's strong in battle but I mean he's charismatic and wise. I've always liked Papyrus. He's absolutely hilarious and quite lovable in the game. A lot of people see him as naive and blind, but I honestly never got that from playing the game. He clearly understands all too well the horrors of the Genocide Route and very clearly offers you your one true chance at redemption. And despite everything, despite whatever happens in the story, he steadfastly refuses to be anything but kind and supportive and friendly, long after anyone else would have given up. The kind of emotional and mental strength that must take is unfathomable. The Papyrus I wrote, just like the other familiar characters, is my attempt to see what would come of a character if the circumstances of the story were allowed to progress instead of being almost entirely erased at every reset. If the characters were allowed to remember everything they'd seen and done. In my view, Papyrus only becomes stronger, more firm in his belief that anyone can be or do good. The speech I wrote for him in chapter 15 is still one of my favorite parts of this story. He is truly the Great Papyrus. "EVEN SMALL GOOD THINGS ARE STILL GOOD. GREATNESS ISN’T ABOUT THE SIZE OF IT, YOU CAN BE GREAT BECAUSE OF YOUR CHOICES, EVEN WHEN NOBODY NOTICES A THING." Honorable Mentions (I started to enjoy writing these characters even thought they didn't appear much or seem interesting at first): Goner Kid, Monster Kid, and the Annoying Dog.

What can we expect to see in way of later stories to expand on this world? Any allusions? 👀
Difficult, very difficult. But an amusing question for sure. Let's see. The Universe of Aeontale itself is gone, dead, finished. However a number of its inhabitants survived as you know. Their stories will be touched upon as I explore others. AUs, Alternate Universes.... or rather... Universes. Some are so close to Undertale that there is hardly any difference at all. Others diverge based upon a single choice or event somewhere. And then there are worlds that contain only a ghost, a pale reflection, of Undertale. Strange and wondrous settings with interesting characters dwelling there and being guided along a story. One of my favorite things to do when writing, is to worldbuild. And my friends, you are going to witness a lot more of that if you stay. Because I don't think there's any stopping me now.

I really appreciate how much you've expanded on jerry's *ahem* Seamus' personality. You've made him such a compelling three dimensional character. Especially that part about him always complaining but only about small insignificant "issues" to cope with everything else around him. That really stuck with me. What was your inspiration for that?
*We stan introspective mature papyrus and a sans that deals with his issues and overcomes them*
Oh that? Yeah that's because I do that a bit. Not nearly as much as Seamus does, but I like to grumble quietly about minor inconveniences as I move about and talk to inanimate objects, telling them to stay put or else, or to not be ridiculous you silly thing. My favorite bit is while at work I run the self checkout computers and whenever anything goes wrong (about once every three minutes) I mutter under my breath and call them the "Thrice accursed fiends". I'm not really a very technologically inclined person and those computers in particular are going to spell my death one day, I know it. So when I played Undertale and saw Burgerpants working in MTT's Burger Emporium.... I somewhat hated him. I think it was the purposefully horrific sprite art that might have put me off. But as I took a closer look at him for this fic, I really started to see more there. And obviously most of his real problems have their source in Mettaton, and could easily be rectified if he put any real effort into it. But he doesn't. Nobody in the Underground fixes their problems. Why bother? Asgore is just going to get the Human Souls and free everyone. And nobody wants to think about working long term solutions because that would mean having to admit that they might be down there for a very long long time. As I got to like Seamus more and more he evolved his character, and I saw his exaggerated reactions to relatively minor and totally fixable problems in his life, and knew exactly what it reminded me of. Of course, its not a very healthy coping mechanism when used his way. It's best to have a balanced approach to things, grumbling and complaining can be cathartic, but also going out of the way to find the positives in addition to that can help you achieve a healthier mindset. The relation to Seam from Deltarune... wrote itself somehow. I'm not really sure. I guess they're both sort of cats (cat-monsters?). But it seemed right and suddenly to my surprise, Burgerpants, now renamed as Seamus, was the grandson of Seam. And the rest I just tried to think of how someone with that personality might change and grow with time and certain people around them. The same sort of thing applies to Jerry, actually. He's written in the game as the person nobody likes. Arrogant, narcissistic, having atrocious hygiene, disregard for the feelings of those around him (or unawareness of it), and just general obnoxious behavior. But the thing is, he's not an evil person. Unlikable perhaps, at least in that state, but not evil. He's also quite strong as revealed when you fight him in the genocide route, being a support character he has no attack of his own but only serves to increase the offense of other npcs, yet when attacked he has strong defense. It occurred to me to wonder what would happen to a person who everyone ditched all the time, who everyone hated and mistreated. They might stop taking care of themselves, they might stop caring about other people and their feelings, they would just harden their hearts (souls in this case) and push through with whatever they want, because everyone hates them anyway. And I started to realize that exactly that is a possible reason why Jerry is already the way he is, and the only thing I could do was continue unraveling him to the natural consequence of that. Someone who can't keep themselves from causing trouble and violence, who finds themselves in the same screw up situations again and again, who knows what they are but don't care because they're just...angry. Really the only way someone might be able to break out of that kind of downward spiral is if someone else stepped in and forced a change that might lead to a better way. I didn't cover the rest of his story, but I'd like to hope that Papyrus found a job that suited Jerry. That he was given a job he liked, but was also challenged at and had to work hard. I suspect Papyrus got him some kind of job that has to do with maintenance for the Underground's version of a Radio Tower. Jerry seems to like his phone, its probably up his alley. And it might even be good for
him. (I've no idea what "stan" means exactly, but I assume its something along the lines of "I generally support this character and/or person". So yes, we absolutely do "stan" an introspective mature papyrus and a sans that deals with his issues and overcomes them.)

Any interesting world-building tidbit that wasn't included in your tales? This is a very interesting world you've got
I have three major bits that I desperately wanted to include in the story but never could find the right moment for. 1. (This hilarious dialogue snippet from Gaster and Alphys that never made it into the story but I decided was too funny to not save.) Alphys: (laying on floor) I’m nothing. Not a scientist. Useless. I’m just garbage. Gaster: (glances down at her briefly, looking thoughtful).... you’re recyclable. Alphys: !?!?!?!?!?? 2. I wanted to better explore the area below Waterfall, the deep pits that all the falls plunge down into, where once Alphys stood and considered throwing herself down into. The concept of it was a sort of transformation for Alphys and Undyne. They return to this place that might have been a place of tragedy, and they make it the start of something amazing. The cliffs below were riddled with caves and openings, an entire city carved straight into the rock, with grand staircases that lead down, and elevators that see a lot of use for those who don't want to walk (or can't). Can you imagine the place? Beautiful caves where every window opens up to the underside of the cascading, thundering waterfalls. And because they had hundreds of years to develop it all, the Lower City had gardens and fascinating landmarks to visit, a gallery devoted entirely to the art of Alphys' favorite animes (and oh boy were there some truly gorgeous works there. For some reason there was also a portrait of Mettaton as God and Alphys as Adam in a lovely oil painting that is a sort of imitative transformation piece of Michelangelo's very famous "The Creation of Adam". Nobody really knows who painted it, nor why, but the gallery director informed the public that it was donated anonymously as a gift to commemorate the gallery's Grand Opening.) Because Undyne had a huge part in the City's inception, there ended up being several small schools for various physical activities such as: Wrestling, Ballet, Clogging, Modern Dance, Taekwondo, Spear fighting, Sword fighting, and Water Aerobics. Also one very tiny school for Piano that consisted of Undyne herself and whoever she was teaching to play at their lessons three times a week. Down below are the Depths, the deepest and darkest part of the Underground's caverns. A massive lake that the falls plunge into. Most of its life has been spent without light of any kind, and even now it's still very shadowy. The Lower City of the cliffs sort of spills out between waterfalls to drift around the shore of the lake. But even 300 hundred years later it hasn't all been explored and the Lower City hasn't expanded much more (even with the Underground populous trying their best to spread out, they can't possibly fill every space. I'm working with an upper limit of 1,400-2,000 monsters total in the Underground, with a lower limit of 322 for the souls visible coming from Asriel in the game when he breaks the barrier. Due to the fact that Ghost Monsters were excluded from the soul snatching event, and the fact that there is literally no way to estimate how many spiders are in the Underground, both have been excluded from this counting.) At the far end of the dark lake a lonely outpost sits, home to a very very few monsters who either prefer the total solitude and darkness, or have come there for reasons of science. To study the pools of super-heated water and geysers, or the aquatic life somehow managing to thrive in the pitch black lake that is swimming with garbage from humans and monsters alike, or even geological strata that possesses very interesting formations this far down. There are numerous guidelines in place that prevent Monsters from staying at the Outpost for more than two months at a time for Mental Health concerns. Both Royal Scientists tried (separately) to use their position to override this rule. Undyne was sent to retrieve Alphys and bodily carried her back despite protests, and Queen Toriel herself came to order Gaster back to the Upper Underground (there were fireballs thrown before he finally gave up). 3. And finally, I actually fully intended to have a scene in the story where Sans demanded that Gaster tell him exactly how long they spent trapped down there, after all, he's the only one who kept track of it if you recall. But I completely spaced it when it came to writing those last few scenes. So I'll tell you my final calculations here. We know that Determination had a strange effect on the magic of the Barrier. Whenever a Reset happened, time in the Underground would move a tiny bit slower than time outside. The time spent inside the Barrier, counting both the truly ridiculous amount of time wasted in resets by both the Human and by Flowey, as well as the 300 years afterward that this story covers, comes somewhere around the area of 51,967,952,715 years. Or Fifty One Billion, Nine Hundred and Sixty Seven Million, Nine Hundred and Fifty Two Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifteen. An insane amount of time. What’s my explanation for how the minds of various characters remained intact? Well, Gaster spent long long periods of time sleeping. He wasn’t fully himself yet as his assistants hadn’t managed to collect enough pieces of him. So unstable and having a warped perception of time kept him from actually going insane, instead letting him sleep for centuries at a time. Sans actually didn’t start to become fully aware until quite a long ways into the resets, and then spent a while trying to figure out what was going on, fought with everything he could for a while in endless genocide routes, and then eventually lost hope entirely and sort of... went on automatic for a long time before he woke up enough to change something (a single question was all it took). And Flowey stayed in a similar state for thousands of years, quietly repeating the exact same conversations, the same actions, the same patterns. The only times he was even aware enough to notice the passage of time was when something new happened. These are not in any way realistic ways of reacting to such a vast period of time. From what science we understand about the brain, it would barely last more than a couple hundred years at the very most, but probably less than that. And that’s if you can keep it in perfect condition without any decay. Memories would begin to go long before that, only fragments remaining and the brain keeping only what is relevant to you now. But lots and lots of old stories depict supernatural and magical beings as sleeping for centuries in forgotten temples, under castles, in sealed magical caverns, in caves on beds of treasure, and a thousand other variances. So I wanted to explore that in the way of a part of the Monster Soul that would act as a self defense mechanism to the Mind of the Monster who was somehow living and living and living without possibility of dying and needed to be able to stay sane throughout that. So it either makes them sleep, or in severe circumstances it can put them on a sort of automatic mode where they repeat a sequence ad infinitum. Both have their roots in folklore, but the way it works is my own interpretation of the idea. Outside the barrier, however, is a different story. The full total of time that has  passed out there is 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. Known as Duotrigintillion, or also as one Googol. While the Underground got slower and slower and slower, the rest of the Universe continued on at its usual pace. The planet earth was destroyed by the Sun going into its Red Giant Phase, and then it became a White Dwarf. Then a Black Dwarf. Galaxies and super-galaxies went slowly dark, matter was dissolved or eaten by black holes, even black holes eventually began to decay due to Hawking Radiation. And because the light, garbage, and air being let into the Underground were the exact same stuff that was being let in at the beginning and was just on repeat forever, the Monsters never noticed. It was only when a run went on a little longer than usual, when the Barrier started trying to correct itself by syncing up time again, when you could see the darkness beyond. A darkness without stars and without life. Only cold and shadow, forever. The absolute and inexorable Heat Death of the Universe. Is it the only Universe in the Multiverse that has lived its full possible lifetime from beginning to end? Possibly. Ink would know. Whatever the case, its certainly a very very old Universe indeed (It probably is one of several branches off the original Universe, a stray timeline become a Universe in its own right).

I read the end of your story. And I'm not sure what it is you're describing when Majuscule and Mistral fall into the Void. Its cool, but I have no idea what to picture in my head.
:3 Ah yes. That scene. Where to the viewers outside it appears as if a black disc appeared underneath the ship that could be seen at any level of light or darkness despite not giving off any illumination itself, and then how ship and falling skeletons all froze and then slowly seemed to fade out of existence. And then to those falling into the hole, it just appeared as if the world around them was getting warped and stretched and then compressed into a ball that was getting further away, like a mirror ball in an empty void but you can still see the reflections of everyone and thing inside of it as it gets smaller and smaller in the distance. Watch this video. It might help you envision it a little. Also, you'll start to understand what sorts of things I was thinking about when writing Majuscule Gaster and his Voids. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qF76Y0wAQtI (Seizure Warning: There are some flashing lights! )

F.A.Q.
AO3 HERE
Who are you?: I am a person. I live in a boat that is on the river. I am The River Person. If you must, you can call me River. He/They is fine.
Do I actually have enough followers to warrant a F.A.Q. Page?: No. But I’m doing it anyway cause I will forget.
Can I send you asks?: Sure. Here are the Guidelines.
When do you update?: I’m not great with schedules. Its whenever I feel like it. But I’ll try to be fairly regular.
Can I repost your story?: Um.. No. You may reblog it all you like. In fact, go wild. Reblog the whole story across Tumblr. Or the Ao3 link. I love that. Good. Do it. Reposting = Bad. Reblogging = VERY GOOD. Likes = *finger guns* to you too.
Do you like so and so ship? No Fontcest, Incest ships, or child ships. If you send me asks about things like that, or tag my work with it, I will block you. Go away. But I enjoy some of the Sans AU ships. Of course Alphys and Undyne. Maybe Errorink. Also something called Nicepants? Nothing NSFW. Idk. Ships aren’t really something I have much interest in.
Do you do writing requests?: Send in an Undertale related prompt and If I’m inspired enough I might write some small piece for it. Even if I can’t or don’t feel like writing that for some reason, well... asking won’t hurt.
What is Aeontale?: Its an Undertale AU and the first story of a series I’m working on. The world starts out pretty close to the Undertale world we know, and begins to diverge over time. You can read the full thing on my Ao3 account (see link above).
Can I draw Fanart of your story?: Sure! As long as you tag and credit me for the AU, don’t use any of the ships I warned against above, and keep it SFW... then knock yourself out. I’ll probably cry out of bewildered joy for fanart.
Can I make an AU based on Aeontale?: What? Like how Underfell was based on Undertale, then other Fell AUs were based on that? Mmmmm. Lets wait until I’ve finished the story first, okay?
Can I include your AU characters in MY fanfic story (Comic, etc)?: Currently only Mistral Sans is Community Shared. However there might be more characters in the future you can use.
Wanna do an Undertale Collab with me?: Dunno. Depends on the project. DM me and we’ll talk.
Do you have other AUs?: I have some ideas for them, yes. Also some plans for one shot stories and some other bits. But one thing at a time.
Do  your stories have Dark Themes?: Sometimes. I like Psychological Horror, some violence, emotional suffering, death, reflections on mortality and immortality, and whatever the trope would be for Gaster’s unfortunate accident with the falling into the Core thing.
What is the Rating of your blog?: There may be some minor swearing, perhaps blood and death as mentioned above, but no excessive gore. Trauma, and mentions of things such as depression and occasional mental illness. There will be some romance, as I feel it necessary to the narrative, but I’m not hugely into ships so it won’t be a main focus. There will be nothing NSFW (explicitly sexual) ever, though brief non-human and human nudity might be mentioned in passing as a matter of course.
Do you tag triggers? Will you tag this trigger for me?: On the occasion something big pops up, I’ll try to tag it accordingly. If you need me to add a tag, do not hesitate to send me an ask requesting it.
My question isn’t on here?: Send me an ask. Fastest way to get things done. I don’t bite, promise.
Want to be friends?: I’ll gladly chat with you, providing all interactions remain pg. I’m quite the friendly Monster. But this is still the internet and I don’t actually know you, so I do still have to be careful. I probably won’t be sharing any personal info about myself. Doesn’t mean I don’t like you, I just gotta be careful, you know? Thanks for understanding.

If you have questions about the world and setting of Aeontale, its characters, events, or even my thought processes during the creation of various aspects... Feel free to send in an ASK.
I might not give you an answer if its something that is a spoiler for later stories. But ask anyway and I'll let you know if I'm unable to answer it. Besides, there are plenty of things I could tell you that won't spoil anything. The worldbuilding goes deep... mostly because I can't help myself. Just remember that my rules are No Fontcest, Incest ships, or child ship asks. (you will be blocked for asking about those or tagging any of my work with those.) And nothing NSFW. I don’t mind answering questions about ships or whatever else. Ships aren’t really something I have a ton of interest in. But I’ll still answer happily enough. Also I’d be thrilled to hear your thoughts or ideas that stem from my work. Who knows, if you pose an interesting enough Idea it might spawn a piece of microfiction from me. The only way to find out is to send in an Ask. Anyway, thanks for reading!

Mistral Sans is now Community Shared
To echo the words of @undertaleauoc, Mistral is "open for use" without the need to request permission from the creator (me) though I’d like to be tagged and credited still. Mistral Formerly named: Sans Age: 10 to the power of 100 years (technically a little more than that by now, but the number is so huge that it's no longer relevant.) Gender: Male Appearance: Appears much like Classic Sans, except for the silvery-white crystalline formations growing all over his body. These can get quite large if he hasn’t removed them in a while, and are often quite sharp to anyone with flesh instead of bone. He makes an effort to keep the Kenón from growing up over his head and face, or from completely encasing his body, but it's difficult to keep up with since it grows faster whenever he happens to be in the Void itself. He wears a long brown overcoat, gloves, and long black trousers, mostly in effort to hide the Kenón as much as possible or keep the sharp points from cutting people by accident. He also keeps a red bandana around his neck, something given to him by Papyrus. His eyes never went back to their original state after the Void-Sickness. Instead of dark hollows with a white iris, they seem to be a pale grey, like a well of deep nothingness. Backstory: Mistral’s Universe is based upon the question “What would happen if the Human just never stopped the Resets, but went on forever?” And the resulting Tale that followed was one of mindless repetitions for time out of mind as the Human would Reset in order to prevent the Underground from being destroyed. Eventually the human, who was no longer human, stopped when Sans suggested a different means to preserve their Universe without killing. This Underground has a deep history of worship and lore that surrounds their Angel, and Sans played the role of Judge, a historical job where someone representing the Angel’s Justice would be called upon to make an absolute Judgement upon anyone or anything. The King called upon him to bring his judgement upon the entire Underground for their part in everything. Formerly a scientist under his Uncle Gaster, he helped come up with the “Solution” which the entire Underground was inoculated with to help them remember beyond Resets. He himself was a victim of the Void poisoning like that which affected Gaster’s Followers and was only saved from being wiped to a blank slate by Gaster’s efforts. A fragment of Kenón (Void-stone) and determination was placed in his soul, causing the crystals to spread from it. In later years as the Underground thrived despite the Resets, he pushed himself to get another degree, this time in psychology, and eventually became a practicing therapist/psychologist (as well as the Underground’s willing delivery boy. He liked being able to see and talk to people all the time, and get to know things.) Upon the destruction of his Universe he was thrown into the Void with his Uncle Gaster, where they were rescued by the mysterious River Person. They met with Ink!Sans who explained the Multiverse and gave them the means to travel it. Now they travel from Universe to Universe, or sometimes wander the Void itself, or the Anti-Void. Gaster (now named Majuscule) is searching for his children, and Sans (now named Mistral) is helping while searching for the Ship his brother escaped with and whatever survivors of his people there might still be. Personality: Mistral is old. Though he was in a mindless forgetful repetitive state for much of the Resets, and has few memories of his own childhood beyond what Papyrus reminded him of, he is significantly mentally older than most of the other Monsters from his Universe. The determination in his soul (along with the Kenón) makes him very strong willed and much more powerful than he was before. It also gives him a minor energy boost. His years as a scientist specializing in studies of the Soul and Physics, as well as his later degree in psychology and practice as a therapist, make him a fairly discerning person who is easily approachable and can talk about a number of different subjects with ease. Despite his actions during the Genocide Routes, he is a much more mentally stable person (possibly one of the most stable Sanses out there from what I see) and is very much a pacifist, refusing violence altogether and choosing to let his words and mind guide him out of trouble, or his teleportation to let him escape danger. Because of his refusal to consider physical violence, even in his own defense, his skill in using fighting magic has atrophied. He can no longer summon the blasters at all, and his bone attacks are weaker. His teleportation on the other hand is much stronger and he can do it more often without tiring too much. The other effects of his refusal to fight means that he must proactively avoid confrontation whenever possible. Mistral uses his knowledge of how people think and act to guide his interactions with others, putting even Monsters from the Fell Universes at ease with well timed and thought out humorous comments, as well as just generally being willing to listen and try to see from the point of view of other people. He can tell puns, but they usually sound a bit forced, like he memorized them somewhere and was just waiting for a point to use them. Very rarely he’ll come up with the perfect one on the spot and be absolutely thrilled with himself. More often he uses dry humor, throwaway lines, or Hyperbole.
His willingness to try and defuse the tension caused by aggressive Monsters he’s dealing with can sometimes backfire on him and serves to make the Monster even angrier and more violent. Mistral will then flee, not wanting to fight them, but often marking himself as guilty or suspicious in the process when this happens with an authority figure who has confronted him for his presence.
The Kenón crystal growing all over his body tends to freak people out as well, which is why he hides it as much as he can beneath the overcoat, gloves, and bandana.
Like all skeletons of his Universe, Mistral has a great knowledge of fonts and writing systems, punctuation marks, ciphers, and typography. It is a very important subject to them as it very closely ties with how they see themselves, their identity as a person. This may be rather strange to skeletons from other Universes who do not share this background. A similar problem comes when skeletons from other Universes find out how strongly he and the Monsters of his world believe in the mythical Angel of Mount Ebbot and often pray to them or swear by them (or use “Angel” as a swear).
He’s also very interested in the concept of Identity and how it can change over time or be altered by events in your life, and how names connect to the concept of identity.
Can I use Mistral in my comic/story/animation/etc?: Sure. He’s a wandering type character, so it's likely he’ll show up in countless Universes and places all over while searching for his brother and his missing cousins. Sometimes he’ll be with Gaster and sometimes not.
One thing to note is that his story will have a continuation, so if in your story you detail events that involve him beyond just a brief meeting, chat, or background character… Just be aware that it's probably not going to be canon to the story I’m planning for him (though if we take other Multiverses into account it could be canon elsewhere).
I would like to insist that you tag and credit me on his use (Credit is good. Tagging me makes it so I can come see your wonderful creations).
Can I ship Mistral with this other character/characters?: Yeah, why not?. Canonically he’s aesexual and only very passingly interested in the idea of romantic relationships. But sure, ship him with whoever you like. Just know that it's not canon to this Multiverse.
While I would still like to be tagged in stuff that involves him. I know I can’t stop nsfw art/writing and other things of that nature from happening, much as I might like to. But be warned, If I see it or am tagged with that, or am sent asks of that... I will block you. Fontcest, Incest ships, child ships, or smut in general will all get you blocked instantly.
Canon height and weight: 4-5 feet high (same as Classic Sans). Weight was trickier. He’s a skeleton. A human skeleton is only about 15% of your body weight. So classic is probably somewhere around 16 or so pounds. But Mistral is covered by continually growing crystalline structures of Kenón. Since the crystal is heavy but spread out and somewhat kept under control, it probably only doubles his weight, making him 32 pounds.
Canon strength: Mistral isn’t a fighter. His attacks are weak because his desire to actually fight is nonexistent, even if he has to defend himself or others. But his actual physical strength, as opposed to his magical attacks, sees a significant increase to that of your normal Sans. The Kenón crystals actually increase his defense by making his bones stronger and more crack resistant, and his self healing is well equipped to deal with most breaks, though they’re still quite painful.
He also has increased endurance for longer physical or magical activities so long as combat or confrontation isn’t part of it.
Since he weighs more, he can’t jump as high as a Sans who weighs less (not that it's a huge difference. He’s only 32 pounds. Plus his strength can mostly make up for it by pushing himself off harder when jumping.)
Is it okay if I draw him with another gender, age, height, or sexuality?: Go for it. Have fun. Tag and credit me. But remember that it’s not canon to THIS Multiverse that I’m working in.
Canon Birthday?: September 16th (though he hasn’t celebrated in a LONG time. He probably doesn’t remember his last actual birthday party. Papyrus might though…)
Font?: Used to be Comic Sans. But now it's Mistral (upper and lowercase).
Original AU: Aeontale by
a_river_is_a_liminal_space
(or the-river-person. basically… me)
Can I send Asks for more details if I need or want them?: Yes. My askbox is open. I’ll answer what I can. I’ve put everything I can think of on here, but inevitably there’s always something missed in things like this. So ask away.

Has anyone ever asked you anything before? I haven't really seen any asks recently on your blog, but how long does it take you to solve this: 1690-1764=
Sorry just wanted to test your math skills!
Hmm. I don't think I've ever had an ask on this particular blog before, no. But I'm absolutely thrilled to get one. So thank you, kind Anon! As I said at the bottom of my F.A.Q., I probably won't be answering any personal questions should they come my way. But I'm more than happy to entertain various other questions as long as they're generally pg. I'm especially happy to answer asks about my stories for clarification on a point or things that didn't get touched on in the story. I'll answer as best I can without spoiling the plot. However I'm also quite alright with other Undertale related Asks of various kinds. Other than the one or two specified things I mentioned in the F.A.Q., I'm mostly content with figuring out what to do with problematic asks as they come. I've had some on other blogs before this, but I usually just laughed and blocked the anonymous person before just deleting the ask. Its worked so far. Probably a more detailed answer to your question than you wanted, but I got excited. Anyway, your other question. Lets see. Well the general rule for subtracting larger numbers from smaller numbers is to "Switch" and "Negate". So lets take the numbers and swap them like Underswap. Instead of 1690-1764 we have 1764-1690. Now we could put them on top of one another and line up the numbers according to their place value. So 4-0... is still 4. Alright. But 6-9. mmmm. Another great concept in subtraction is "Borrowing". We can borrow 1 from the 7 and make that a 6. Ah! But wait, the 7 is in the 100s place while the 6 we're trying to use is only in the 10s place. So we'll really be adding 10 to the 6 and making it 16. So 16- 9 is 7. Next we'll do the 7-6. But since we took one away, its just 6-6. Which is 0. So that's done. Alright. And the exact same thing with the last one, which is 1-1. It's 0. Cool. So we're left with 74. Ah, but we're not done yet! Remember, I said we need to "Negate" as well! Because really if you tried to subtract a bigger number away from a smaller one it would end up going right past 0 into the negative numbers. The "Switch" and "Negate" rules are just shortcuts so you don't have to go counting all the way back down through every number on a line until you've taken away 1764 from 1690. So at last we're left with 1690-1764= -74. A bit of an usual request for an Undertale writing blog. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm currently trying to brush up my maths skills from the basics and upwards in order to take a placement test, then I probably wouldn't have put this much effort into it. But I'm happy to report that solving it was actually a great deal faster than the time it took to type all of this out. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to say hi! And for the Unusual maths request!
