so i had the cutest dream last night 🥺

can't remember every detail of it but i do remember the gist of it, and it kind of followed through luka's route of the recent weddings event (i forgot the actual name of it, sorry). basically that luka and i got engaged and then jonah finding out and getting all emotional over his baby bro growing up/mad he didn't find out first lolol. then it kind of just cut to us being happily married and all that for a bit, and then cuts again (as far as i can remember anyway) to like visiting the red army for some meeting and then jonah ofc using it as an excuse to check up on luka us..... only to find out that there's going to be a new generation of clemence, if you catch my drift. he nearly passes out at the news that i was pregnant, but everyone's elated (black army ofc teased us to absolutely no end when they found out hahaha). kind of cuts again to bits of the future until all of a sudden there was like some big party/meeting thing for an alliance and then my water broke (rip). kyle ends up kind of helping out with the process since he's quite literally the closest doctor, but surprise surprise, not only was there a baby clemence coming.. there were two. (i tend to dream a lot with twins man idk) so the whole ordeal happens and now we two beautiful baby girls, fraternal twins with different hair colors but the same eyes. i don't remember who was who name-wise, just that their names were (iirc) hayley and hannah; the older had the signature clemence minty hair and the younger had dark hair like mine, but both had eyes that were a mix of luka's yellow and my brown ones. the girls were absolutely most certainly spoiled rotten by both armies and then some, but they had so many fun uncles and family pets they were surrounded by, just too cute. 💕💕💕

makes me wish i could draw, these girls were the epitomy of adorable. the one with dark hair had a lil beauty mark of her own, and with all of the others spoiling them + the lavish dresses their actual uncle gifted them?...cuties!! 😭💘

Okay so using this beautiful wonderful picrew, I was able to create as close of a rendition to the twins as I possibly could! Had to edit the eyes myself and slightly altered the hair color to match a bit better but ssshhh it works aight, looks pretty close to the girls <3

i don't even want kids irl but i don't mind em, and dreams like these are just dreams, i kinda love when my brain spits out oc's like this all the time hahaha. had a dream one time where i had twins with satan as well, but a fraternal m/f twins (sabrina & salem i think, like from sabrina the teenage witch, man was that one a trip) ..made them too cause why not!

that reminds me..... i think i might've had a dream with diavolo one time too, but i don't think those twins had names. similarly to the one with satan, m/f twins that took after both my oc's and their father's (diavolo's) color scheme of red/black. i think the girl had his red hair and the boy took after my black hair, but i think both of them had his eyes, not sure though bc it's been quite awhile, and i don't even think they had names, as that was a much shorter dream :( mainly just remember the girl taking after diavolo's leadership and diplomacy, but being fairly straight-faced, and the boy always hiding behind me and being super sweet but shy and easily spooked, would cry for everything but stop crying just as quickly, total momma's boy haha. polar opposite kiddos

omfg SHUT UP- okay so i doubt anyone's read my oc lore post but i decided to look up what one of their names meant rn (pretty sure i did back when i made half those oc's nearly 10 years ago but anyway) ........ my oc ship luca x hikari ..... luca means "bringer of light" or just light and hikari is japanese for light.... IF THAT AINT JUST ABOUT THE CUTEST SHIT lmao! and to think i just randomly picked names i thought sounded cool back when i was like 15... luca was short for lucario (yes its why his color scheme is still black/blue hhdjdjd) and i just always liked the name hikari (as well as hikaru/kaoru like the ouran twins lol)....

and jihee was some name i had made up for an old fic protag... wooww 😂 we love to see all this recycling, great for the environment 🤣

....as per google i think jihee means wisdom and leadership but like....... i made her the punk little sister always getting into bar fights and getting arrested for shit as a minor... oml que wisdom

& backstory (Aerin)

✎ Some things are subject to change and not everything is 100% canon (mainly in regards to the love life portions). Some things change depending on which storyline (of which game) is being referenced, as a lot of this is very fluid and dependent, or changes with the addition of new lore/games.

Hades/Persephone's daughter; 2nd of three kids (Luca, Aerin, Jihee aka Jiji). Luca is 2yrs older than Aerin, Aerin is 2yrs older than Jiji (and Tulip is the same age as Luca). Persephone chose the moniker "Hyacinth" to act as the family's last name due to her time in the human world, wanting something to bond everyone together by name.*Most of H/P's lore falls in line with Greek mythology, but creative liberties were taken.

Hades: god of the underworld, deals with the dead/spirits (not like the grim reaper), tall/buff with jet black hair and red eyes, has a 3 headed dog named Cerberus. Wanted Aerin to get married to Diavolo (prince of the Devildom) to have a sort of union between their two realms, becoming extremely powerful together. Representative color: Black & red.

Persephone: Can only visit during the 4 months of winter, taller than most humans but still looks fairly small in comparison to Hades; brown hair and green eyes; as goddess of crops and the like her powers have an influence on nature. Her mother hates Hades (but cannot bring herself to hate her grandchildren). Representative color: Green & Brown.

*Due to an incident that happened when all 3 were still just kids, Luca and Aerin got sent to the overworld (human realm) where they were born for safety purposes and had their powers hidden by a spell, but Jihee had to stay behind since she was born in the underworld (during the winter when Persephone is there) and cannot stay out for long, similar to Hades, who is confined there.

Luca Hyacinth (oct.13): Dark blue-black hair and hazel eyes. Closest to Aerin, though they pretend to have a love/hate relationship, they'd die for each other. Married to Hikari, childhood friends who became highschool sweethearts. Got married as soon as Luca graduated high school (Hikari is 2yrs older). Persephone's next of kin: takes after his mother's powers and love of nature; his dark eyes turn green when using his powers. The couple own a flower shop/garden together and now have 2 kids, Lance and Gwen. Aerin often babysits the hyperactive young boy and quiet little girl. Lance is very outgoing and energetic, while Gwen takes to quiet activities like art (and clings to her parents'/aunt's leg a lot in public). Representative color: Blue.

Hikari Hyacinth (dec.24?): A nephilim who was orphaned after her parents were cast out and eventually died. Incredibly kind and patient, but terrifying when angry. The oldest of the friend group (with Luca & Aerin) growing up, but was always close to Luca (who always had a crush on her). Hades dislikes her and their children as he sees their angel side as a disgrace to their underworldy bloodline. Representative color: White.

Jiji Hyacinth (jan.31?): Her real name is Jihee, but no one calls her that, not unless she's in terrible terrible. Has a wife named Daisy, they were college roomates before Jiji dropped out, they eloped and Jihee moved in with Daisy and her family. They're all super close but Hades is still extremely bitter to have "lost" the only child he fully raised (and the problematic baby of the family). Loves her motorcycle and the thrill of adrenaline, used to get into (bar) fights a lot, rumor has it she used to be in a gang of some sort before she met Daisy. Takes after neither parent and somehow has a weak reign over electricity (her eyes turn purple when using her powers, but she prefers not to, given her weak constitution). Hades thought she was one of Zeus' at first and refused to care for her, but eventually gave up his petty jealousy as soon as Persephone had to leave again. Representative color: Purple.

Tulip (may? march?): Aerin's right hand; bodyguard, assistant, best friend, older sister, you name it. Orphan who was taken in by the Hyacinth family, eventually given the option to continue schooling or be trained to fight, chose the latter in order to protect Hades' next of kin, Aerin. Constantly suffers because of said next of kin's recklessness..and luck of getting isekai'd. Eventually falls in love with Sirius Oswald in Cradle and they get married (Aerin swears she didn't meddle but.. she totally did). Representative color: Yellow.

Kaoru Saotome (7/13): One of Aerin's closest friends from the human realm, he's like a little brother to her at this point. They often practice choreographies together, and have a lot of video game and anime preferences in common, so they geek out often. Also act like they fight a lot, but that's just how these two tsuns show affection. Get scolded often for rough-housing and put into a comical time-out of sorts by Sayuri.

Sayuri Saotome (6/13): Kaoru's younger sister (by 2 years). Also joins in on the dance action sometimes, but is more of a singer, and has an incredibly melodic voice (Aerin often does the rap portions whenever Sayuri wants to do song covers). Tends to geek out with Aerin over things like magical girl animes and music, as they both enjoy rhythm games and idol groups. More often affectionate with each other as Aerin tends to baby her, but Sayuri never minds it.

Yukimura Sanada (7/17): Aerin's first love in the warring states era of feudal Japan, after she had a time-travel incident. They were engaged to be wed when he died protecting her from assassins. The two used to bicker like an old married couple, and not even their best friend Sasuke could console Aerin during her grief. It took years for her to even mention his name without breaking down, and she never thought she would move on. Wanted to give up after his loss, but did not want to invalidate his sacrifice, so she aimlessly carried on. (More about this can be found in this story.)

Hannah (7/17): Hannah Emilia Hyacinth. (Eventually known as Hannah Emilia Clemence-Hyacinth.) Warm chocolate hair and sky blue eyes. Her family died in a fire when bandits raided her home on the outskirts of Cradle; lost her memory and refused any help from strangers because she was scared. Was selectively mute for awhile, until eventually Aerin gained her trust. Unable to leave her alone after they bonded, the latter ends up adopting her, and names her Hannah. Later on, she remembers (or thinks she does) that her name was Emilia, when given the choice, she opts to keep the name Hannah, but accepts the idea to keep Emilia as her middle name, in honor of her family. (Later unsure if the name was hers or her older sister's, but keeps it in memory regardless.) Is scared at first of the Black Army but comes to love the liveliness and kindness of the atmosphere. Hannah insists Luka date Aerin because she wants him in her life as a father figure, but also thinks the two like each other and decides to mettle. Hannah is extremely bright and loves to read and learn, as such, she is very advanced in her studies and is naturally curious about everything. Loves to study medicine and is a natural at healing, has innate magical powers but they are very weak, and loves to imitate her adopted mother's elemental spells (especially water). Hannah tries her best to study under Kyle as he is considered one of the best doctors in all of Cradle.

Luka Clemence (8/24?): Aerin's husband.. eventually. Hannah swears she's the reason these two got together, as she loved Luka and wouldn't accept anyone else as her "dad". This shy young man ends up befriending Aerin fairly quickly after her arrival in Cradle, and they enjoy cooking together for the Black Army, bouncing ideas off of one another. It took a lot of coaxing for Aerin to get over believing she was a jinx and that Luka would die in battle if she stuck around. Luka helps her through her feelings of guilt and grief over Yukimura, eventually winning over her ceaselessly stubborn heart. Poor Luka gets confused at times when he thinks Aerin calls for him, but it turns she's actually talking about her brother (so she ends up having to refer to the latter as "Lulu" instead now). Her brother doesn't find this as funny as they do, but his sister finally looks so happy again that Luca just can't bring himself to voice a complaint.

Hayley & Hazel Clemence (3/15): Some time after their marriage, Aerin finds out that she's pregnant, and their good friend Kyle helps her along with the complicated process until the twins' birth. Hayley (mint hair with brown streaks) is the epitome of cute whilst Hazel (brown hair with mint streaks) is the epitome of sporty; both are daddy's girls to an extent, as Hayley loves to cook with Luka and Hazel loves to train with him. The girls' hazel eyes are often compared to a mix between Aerin's chocolate eyes and Luka's golden ones. Having three rambunctious little girls can be a handful, but their living family of five wouldn't have it any other way. (Jonah absolutely spoils the girls, especially Hayley, as she's the only one to love all the pretty dresses he sends their way.)

And finally, Aerin Hyacinth herself.

Representative color: Black & pink.

Goddess form; cat curse form; distant ancestor in Lilith

Can talk to cats bc of the "nine lives curse" put upon her by a witch that had a grudge in Hades and went after his next-of-kin (as such, she can turn into a black leopard). Purrs a lot if you pet her head or scratch her ears, even in human form (and is extremely embarrassed when this happens in public).

Watched Yukimura die in her arms to protect her from an assassin, and swore she'd never love anyone else ever again. Convinced fate is cruel when she adopts Hannah and find out she has the same birthday as Yuki. (Was both relieved and saddened to not get to see Yukimura's spirit one last time, as this means that he died without regrets.)

Gets teased relentlessly when she gets with Luka as his name is almost identical to her older brother's, abhors getting called "bro-con" (brother complex). Luka's own older brother, Jonah, is very overprotective, but eventually comes around and even now considers her a sister to him.

Aerin is the goddess of death, a messenger to the spirit realm, Hades' next of kin. She has no care for this power, but always finds herself helping spirits cross or trying to prevent them from becoming contaminated by evil spirits (so they don't have to be exterminated or cause any harm to the realm of the living). Her dark eyes turn red when using any of her powers, with the exception of her yellow cat eyes.

Speaking of cats, a black cat named Jet that very closely resembles her cat form ("Jay") often tends to hang around. He acts as a body double sometimes to prevent humans from finding out about her cat form, or when she sneaks out, usually to avoid Hades or official meetings.

Distant descendant of Lilith through her mother's side of the family, and even got to speak to her soul during her time as a trsnsfer student in the Devildom.

Ended up getting pact marks with all 7 demon lords, which she has running down her spine, usually well-hidden from others. Her great great great great (you get the point) uncles in the demon lords are very protective of her, and were pretty opposed to Hades' insistence of her marrying Diavolo. (Not that they're exactly fond of her human husband Luka.. but that's a tale for another time. They're just happy to see her happy now, knowing firsthand the pain of such grief..)

Aerin despises uncle Zeus but absolutely adores uncle Poseidon and enjoys hanging out with cousin Perceus whenever he's in town. She loves the water and is often annoyed by her strong control over fire, preferring her control over water (from her mother) instead.

Had a notorious fight with Zeus once at a family reunion and is all but banished from Olympus now (he'd never admit it, but he definitely tried and failed to strike her with lightning after the fight).

Cerberus had a litter of puppies at one point, one being Cero, the guardian puppy appointed to Aerin since childhood, the two are very close.

Nabi is a giant spirit butterfly, and Aerin's familiar, who often alerts her of the presence of any lost or strong spirits she may need to lead or exorcize, accordingly. Sometimes lends her powers of flight to her master, giving Aerin the ability to fly undetected across the sky upon giant, picturesque butterfly wings.

*She also hates/fears her fire power because of The Incident. When the siblings were still very young, an armed group stormed the castle of sorts in which the Hyacinth family called home. In an attempt to keep her siblings safe and ward off the attackers, Aerin's control of fire prematurely arose, lashing out so strongly it set the entire wing of the house on fire. While all their attackers burned, the siblings nearly died from both the wild fire spreading and the smoke in their lungs. She uses this power sparingly, only when necessary, in small doses. Hopes to meet someone who can help her train so she has better control and loses her fear of it.

(There's also a whole side branch of lore that has to do with the Genshin Impact universe, but I'm not going to include that for the time being bc this is just my otome sideblog, and otherwise I'd have to spend 5ever explaining that game and its vast array of characters on top of..all this 😅)

so.... what if i said i was theoretically working on my oc lore for aerin... as like a whole post of its own... would anyone possibly be interested or nah 😖👉🏻👈🏻

might post it might keep it drafted idk yet.. there's a whole lot of stuff to it and other oc's, it's prob long enough to be its own fic lmao,,,, but i can't draw very well so i'm sorry if she's not the coolest or if it's not all super consistent and stuff,, :( a lot of the post backstory lore depends on what game i'm playing atm or which storyline fits in with what. there's hints of the ikemen series, greek mythology, obey me, even some genshin impact and stuff haha ^^;
