Tumblr media Tumblr media
3rd's POV
You hated Yu Jimin.
It wasn't anything personal with the woman, you hated her because of yours and hers parents who decided to control your life without any care about your own feelings.
You always loved your father, he never failed to make you feel loved and he supported you through everything you went through as a teenager but that was until you were 16. Your father borrowed some money from shady people and soon after he borrowed even more not realizing how badly it will end for him. The debt quickly became much too big for your family to pay off. Your parents were devastated, they tried to not talk about anything debt related around you and you thought it was because they didn't wanted to worry you but on your 18th birthday you found out the truth about why they whispered around the house whenever they talked about their debt.
The truth was your father found a solution to their problems. He contacted a very well-known CEO of a famous company in Seoul, Mr. Yu who was also your father's boss and after talking about different options they agreed on having you marry his daughter Jimin who was soon to inherit the company. When your father told you about it you were furious, you couldn't believe your own father could just sell you like this just to solve his own problems and your mother agreeing to that made you even more devastated. Their assurances of their love for you didn't do much for you, you could see that you didn't mean much to them since they were willing to just force you into something like that without any problems.
Your wedding was your nightmare. Jimin was nice and all but ever since you officially met you could feel how much she also hated the fact she had to marry someone she didn't wanted to marry. You both pretended to be happy and in love during your wedding but the moment you guys entered your shared house, you both completely ignored each other. There was no reason for you to argue when you could just pretend that nothing happened and live not getting into each other ways. That's how you spend the next few months as a married couple, you ignored each other most of the time and going on dates with other people, only acting as a couple in front of her parents whenever they visited.
One night Jimin came back from a tiring day at work to see you at your usual spot on the window. You made yourself a very comfortable space there with pillows and blankets so you often used it to rest or sleep if you didn't wanted to sleep with Jimin. Your wife observed you for a while as you read your book before moving to the kitchen to make herself something to eat "I made you dinner. It's in the fridge" Your voice cut through the silence but not for long as silence soon took over again. Jimin silently opened the fridge to see her favorite food prepared. As she warmed it up she continued staring at you "Do you need anything?" You asked looking at her having enough of her stares. Jimin hesitated, thinking if she should touch on the subject.
"Why did you marry me?" You looked up at her confused. You wondered what made her ask that since she never cared about it until now. You were silent trying to think of what to say until Jimin said something that made you furious "Did you pay my father to marry me? That's why he was so adamant in making me marry you?" You couldn't believe what you were hearing. Was she really accusing you of paying her father so you could marry her?
"Excuse me?" You stood up and went over to her "You heard me" You were shocked and angry, you hated how this whole situation made you feel so many things at once, especially the pain you felt when on your 18th birthday "You think I wanted that? Marrying you was the last thing I wanted actually but well I didn't had a choice since my father clearly already signed the agreement with your father before even telling me. Just for your knowledge not everybody is obsessed with you" Tears welled up in your eyes as you looked down, Jimin on the other hand was stunned. She wasn't sure what to say, guilt eat her up as she realized that you just like her were basically sold by your father.
She tried to reach for you but you quickly stormed off to your bedroom leaving Jimin standing alone in the kitchen with all her swirling thoughts.
2 hours passed since then and you were still laying in bed looking at the ceiling. Jimin's words hurt, they reminded you of how betrayed you felt and how much you hated your current life. Jimin still didn't came back to the bedroom and at some point you thought that she decided to sleep on the couch but that thought soon left your mind as you heard the door opening. You turned around to face somewhere else and listened to her quiet footsteps getting closer and soon a hand shook your arm. You stayed still not wanting to even look at her at that moment.
Jimin sighed before talking "Y/N... I know you don't want to talk and I understand that. Just know that I really regret saying everything I said back there, I didn't know about your father. I'm gonna sleep on the couch tonight" She finished and you heard her leaving some bags next to the bed and leaving. You moved around and took the bags to see what was inside and the sight shocked you. It was your favorite meal you ordered a lot during evenings. The fact that Jimin payed attention to that was completely surprising to you but the fact that she went and bought some for you despite the late hour was even more shocking.
Inside was a note.
I wasn't sure which sauce you preferred so I bought every kind they had. I hope you enjoy the food and maybe we can talk tomorrow?
From Jimin <3
Maybe she wasn't so bad after all.

Aespa Reaction | You asking them to teach you how to kiss
Aespa all members x gn!reader genre: fluff, reaction warnings: none
Tumblr media
Karina:
internal panic as soon as she processes your question
has no idea how to react but she doesn't want to make you feel bad by taking too long to come up with an answer either
"Are you sure?" is what eventually comes out of her mouth, and when you say yes she panics some more
not that she doesn't like the idea of kissing you - quite the opposite, actually - but she's scared she's going to ruin your first kiss for you
"But... don't you want it to be with someone you love?"
you tell her it's just practice and that you don't want to fuck it up when things are coming down to it
so she hesitantly agrees, drawing near and pressing her lips against yours
however, once she can feel you kissing her back, her worries fade and she simply goes for it
"That wasn't your first kiss just now..." she mutters, and when you assure that it was, she adds, "Wanna keep going?"
and how could you say no to that when her lips seem to melt so perfectly against yours...?
Giselle:
thinks she heard you wrong when you ask her to teach you how to kiss
you definitely feel just slightly humiliated when you have to repeat yourself, and now she feels sorry, seeing you in such a state
"Sure, but... are you sure you want me to be your first kiss?"
you argue that it technically doesn't count if it's for practice, and well, now you've made her lowkey want to prove you wrong...
so she puts aside whatever she's been doing and walks up to you confidently, capturing your chin between her thumb and index finger
the way she stares at your mouth and parts her lips slightly alone makes your heart race
"Here I go, then," she mutters, and next thing you know she's leaning in
needless to say her kiss leaves you breathless, and when she sees you all flustered it only makes her want to keep going
she WILL tease you about how much you're enjoying this, and when she hears you mumble something about how maybe it does count, you can feel her smirk into the kiss before she deepens it
Winter:
"You've... never kissed anyone?"
she's surprised to say the least, but when you react to her question strongly due to your embarrassment she immediately apologizes
"Oh, no, I didn't mean it like that..."
says that you're just so pretty, she didn't think there's never been a person who wanted to kiss you?
and then she blushes hard because when she realizes what she just said jdhsjdjsjxjx
will agree eventually and be a nervous wreck about it herself
but she'll pull herself together for your sake
tells you to just close your eyes and then warns you again before she leans in slowly, pressing a feathery light kiss to your lips
sends you the sweetest smile when you open your eyes and she asks you if you liked it (how are you supposed to not fall in love with her on the spot????)
keeps going if you ask her to, until eventually you're making out slowly, arms wrapped around the other while you're exploring each other's lips
Ningning:
"What? You want me to teach you how to kiss?"
repeats your question with an amused expression on her face and then invites you to sit next to her on the sofa
beams with confidence as she agrees, and then:
"I've never done this either though..."
????
suggests that you're just gonna have to figure things out together, and also she's kinda glad you asked cause she's been curious what it feels like too
she WILL start giggling uncontrollably when your lips meet somewhat clumsily and your noses almost crash into each other on first try djbdnd
but once she's collected herself she tells you to just stay still, and this time she kisses you properly
her lips linger on yours before she pulls back, and when you look at each other you both know you want more
"I think we need a lot of practice..." she mutters, and with her hand cupping your face she leans back in

I'M SORRY PT. 2 — yu jimin
summary : having a hectic schedule has consequences.
pairing : karina x reader ; giselle x reader

parts : 【 pt. 1 】 【 pt. 2 】
Tumblr media
it had been so long since that horrible meal with your girlfriend's idol friends, which you were certain you didn't want to go through again, and jimin was doing her best to make it up to you despite the scheduling issue between her and yours that seemed to refuse to match.
"i'm so sorry, my love. i can't make it today." jimin apologized quietly over the phone, attempting to fight back tears because she truly wanted to join you for the dinner she had arranged but couldn't because of the company.
"it's fine, baby. i understand. just calm down for me, okay?" you said softly, aware of your girlfriend's anxiety skyrocketing right now.
jimin sniffled silently, covering her face to conceal herself from those around her. "i love you, baby."
"and i love you." you replied sweetly, producing a silly kissing sound from your end to cheer her up.
jimin giggled as she hurried to wipe her tears, but she couldn't since more tears flowed due to her understanding girlfriend. "god. i really love you. i miss you, my y/n."
"i miss you, too, my rina."
there were also times when your schedule clashed with that of your normally busy partner.
"jimin, my boss is making everyone work overtime." you stressed, trying to focus on your task in front of you while talking on the phone with jimin. "i'll be late, i'm so sorry."
"breathe in and out, y/n-ah." jimin said softly, and you quickly obeyed her gentle command. "it's fine, baby. you'll be home, right?"
you huffed, looking up at your boss, who glared at you. "yes, love, i'll be there in an hour or so."
"then, my love, i'll be waiting for you with open arms."
when you and jimin finally met, she would always treat you as if it were her last day with you, while you tried to return the gesture, but jimin refused to make you do anything.
"stop that." jimin whined as she wrapped one arm around your waist from behind, the other reaching around to snatch the ladle from your grasp. "i told you to sit still and be pretty, baby!"
"but i want to help!" you argued, resting your back against her shoulder, causing jimin's arm to tighten around you to hold you closer while cooking.
jimin sighed. "no, y/n. didn't i say i'd make it up to you?"
"but—"
jimin leaned down for a quick second to press a firm kiss on your lips, and your eyes fluttered shut as your lips moved automatically against hers. jimin softly moaned as her fingers slid beneath your shirt and touched your skin.
however, because jimin didn't want to end up burning down the apartment, the kiss had to be quick, but she tried to make the most of it, knowing that she wouldn't be able to see you properly for the next couple of days due to her idol life.
"i love you." jimin mumbled softly as she giggled and kissed your red ear.
you turned around in her embrace, your red face buried in her neck.  "i love you, too."
that was how the next few weeks were spent, both with and without jimin—broken apologies, quick explanations, soft reassurances, and very rare date nights, whether inside or outside the comfort of your apartment. jimin continued to spoil you and make it up to you whenever she could, but gave in after you convinced her to calm down, which you did because your heart felt like it was about to burst.
naturally, jimin was not the only person in your life. you also had yizhuo and minjeong. last but not least, your best friend, aeri.
you decided to visit the girls during their practice at the company, and minjeong gladly assisted you in getting through to surprise their stressed leader, while it was yizhuo who called you to inform you of jimin's state. jimin didn't notice you at first because she was busy talking to the choreographer, but when she did, she lit up like a christmas tree and sprinted towards you.
"baby?" jimin said softly as she wrapped her arms around your waist and buried her face in your neck.
"surprise?" you mumbled in her ear, tangling your fingers in her hair to brush through the strands as you returned the hug.
jimin chuckled tearfully. "surprise indeed."
"you'd better thank me, unnie!" yizhuo spoke up, crossing her arms.
"and me." minjeong added.
jimin rolled her eyes before pulling away from you to glare at her members, but she kept her grip on your hand. you looked around the dance studio for your best friend and paused when you saw her walk in.
"aeri!" you said, pulling away from jimin to run towards your best friend, wrapping her in an embrace.
aeri tensed up beneath your touch, but you ignored it as you clung to your best friend. jimin returned her gaze to you and her japanese companion, watching as aeri, albeit hesitantly, wrapped her arms around you.
"y/n, hey." aeri murmured as her heart thrashed wildly in her chest, which she tried hard to hide from her leader's probing gaze. regardless, aeri couldn't help but sway you to the nonexistent music while caressing your sides.
as jimin kept a wary eye on aeri, you drew away from the japanese to smile up at her, causing aeri to smile back, but it was small and weak. worried, you opened your mouth to ask her, but the choreographer cut you off by clapping her hands and indicating that it was time to resume practice.
with that, aeri separated from you, avoiding your soft look and your partner's heated gaze. your heart dropped ever so slightly, worried about your best friend. jimin caught your gaze and smiled, which you returned, but you returned your gaze to aeri when your girlfriend looked away, worriedly frowning as you took a seat on the floor.
you sat quietly in the back the entire time, watching the girls and cheering them on whenever one of them struggled a little. you tried to keep your gaze fixed on jimin, who smiled at you through the mirror. you were captivated, as always, by the way jimin danced so effortlessly, looking as stunning as ever despite the sweat.
your eyes, however, was always drawn to aeri.
but only because you were worried. you couldn't get the quick and brief interaction you had with her earlier out of your head, growing concerned as she seemed to ignore your presence. aeri didn't bother looking in the mirror to meet your gaze, nor did she turn around to look at you. despite being so close, your best friend seemed to distance herself from you even during short breaks.
"are you okay, baby?" a voice from next to you jolted you out of your trance, and turned to see jimin glancing back and forth at you and aeri, whom you had been staring at. "is there something wrong?"
you shook your head quickly as your heart rate increased due to being caught by none other than jimin herself, but you tried to convince yourself that it was her voice that caused your heart to thrash.
"no, no, nothing is wrong, love." you reassured, weakly smiling.
but you weren't sure whether you were reassuring jimin or yourself.
jimin locked her gaze on you for a brief moment. she could read you like a book, even if it didn't have anything written on it, because she had known you for a long time. she could see your hesitation and uncertainty right now, which you weren't even aware of.
but, for your sake and, unknowingly, for hers, jimin nodded, leaning in to plant a soft kiss on your lips. you paused for a beat before cupping her cheeks and kissing her back.
aeri glanced at you just in time, but she wished she hadn't. her heart fell to her stomach for the nth time, and she forced herself to look away, willing her heart to stop yearning for your heart, which was already held by someone else.
as the dance practice came to an end, you excused yourself to the restroom for a brief moment, and jimin agreed to wait for you outside. you came to a halt when you saw your best friend bending over the sink, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"aeri?" you called out to her, your heart breaking as you saw your clearly broken best friend.
stunned, aeri tried to wipe her tear-stained cheeks, but she couldn't because the tears kept falling. aeri wasn't sure whether to reassure you or push you away, her exhausted mind scrambling for an excuse. she paused when you forced her to face you, soft hands cupping her reddened cheeks—the same hands that cupped jimin's face earlier, but aeri could only think that they were now holding her cheeks.
"what's wrong?" you asked softly, unknowingly soothing aeri with your mere voice—the same voice that calls jimin loving nicknames, but aeri could only remember that it was she who fell in love with it first.
aeri shook her head, resting her brow against your shoulder to keep her face hidden from you. "nothing, y/n. i'm just stressed."
"about the dance?" you inquired, not wanting to push her but still concerned. "you were amazing, though."
"you think so?" aeri asked, feeling vulnerable and weak against you as she wrapped one arm around her waist and held onto the sink for support, knowing that even if she held onto you, her knees would buckle the longer you held her so lovingly.
"i know so." you replied, giggling softly and pressing your lips against her hair—the same lips that jimin had touched with her own, but aeri could only wish that she was the one you were kissing instead.
"thank you, y/n-ah." aeri said as she drew away.
you smiled. "of course, gi."
there was silence between the two of you, and you found yourself staring at your best friend with soft eyes because you didn't know what to say next.
but why was your heart racing so loudly right now?
you hid it on the outside, but you were panicking on the inside as you felt aeri's touch on your waist tingle your skin. it had to be because aeri had been ignoring my presence the entire time, and now that i think about it, aeri had been ignoring me since that dinner with their idol friends, you thought to yourself, brows furrowing in confusion.
meanwhile, aeri admired your worried but pretty face, her heart jumping excitedly to her throat.
she gulped nervously and opened her mouth to speak, unable to keep quiet any longer. "you look—"
but aeri couldn't finish her thought because another voice interrupted her. "y/n, my love?"
aeri looked up as you turned around, both of you watching as jimin entered with a worried expression on her face. jimin smiled at you, but paused as she cast a wary glance at aeri, who returned her timid smile.
"ah, baby. sorry!" you apologized, reaching out to take jimin's hand in yours.
"is everything all right?" jimin inquired before looking up at aeri and noticing her red eyes. jimin's leader instincts kicked in as her eyes softened. "gigi? your eyes are red."
aeri waved her hand dismissively and turned away, her heart heavy not only with jealousy for jimin, but also with guilt as a result of jimin's genuine concern. "i'm fine, unnie."
"you should get going before you're late for your date." aeri added, smiling weakly.
jimin frowned, but nodded, despite her desire for more definitive answers. you smiled reassuringly at aeri, who returned it in kind, her heart pounding loudly in her ear. aeri watched as jimin led you out of the restroom and she nearly collapsed if it weren't for her grip on the sink, her hand flying to cover her mouth as a sob wrack through her throat.
"—so gorgeous."
soon after, you and jimin became overly busy, with neither of you having much time to spend with the other.
as your phone rang for the fourth time tonight, you answered it blindly while moving around with your coworkers. despite how tired you were, you both tried to apologize and explain, and you were both understanding, but jimin couldn't deny the underlying exhaustion of another kind, which you tried to ignore, but, whether you liked it or not, this kind of setup was seriously draining you too much.
it didn't help that you were also dealing with another set of emotions.
most of the time, you'd come home to an empty apartment, but you'd grown accustomed to it, so the rare occasions when jimin was able to come home to you would surprise you as if it were a stranger in your home rather than your girlfriend.
"hello?" you mumbled, pausing when you heard the familiar but weak giggle on the other end of the line. "rina? shit."
"hello to you, too, baby." jimin said softly as she looked around the empty living room of their dorm. "are you alright there?"
you sighed, exhausted. "sorry, baby. i'm working overtime. are you home?"
"no, i'm at the dorms." jimin replied softly as she leaned back against the plush pillows of the couch, nibbling on her bottom lip as the desire to see you overcame her.
you nodded despite the fact that you knew she couldn't see you. "shouldn't you be resting, then?"
"i needed to hear your voice first." jimin mumbled softly, pouting.
you chuckled quietly. "how was your day?"
"very tiring!" jimin complained as she hugged the plush pillow, pretending to be you. "i hate my job sometimes."
"i do, too." you grumbled, sandwiching the phone between your ear and shoulder and setting the papers down on your desk. "you and the girls don't get any rest at all."
jimin let out a weak laugh. "well, tomorrow is a rest day; are you available?"
you frowned and bit your lower lip in shame. "i'm afraid i'm not baby..."
jimin sighed and nodded slowly, her sad eyes fixed on the pillow. "i hate your stupid boss."
you burst out laughing. "speaking of, i see him."
"call me when you get home?" jimin asked, her heart pounding. she didn't want to let you go, but she also didn't want you fired.
"i promise, i love you." you mumbled weakly, your heart hurting at the sound of your soft girlfriend's weak voice.
"i love you, too."
jimin sighed as the phone call ended. her mind raced with so many ideas, but it all came down to the fact that she despised both of your hectic schedules, particularly hers. jimin stared blankly at the ceiling, but her vision was distorted by the tears that refused to leave her eyes.
"you look stupid, unnie."
jimin jumped in surprise and turned around, tears streaming down her cheeks, when she heard the voice.
"ah, giselle." jimin mumbled, rushing to catch her tears and compose herself, but failing miserably. "why are you awake?"
aeri frowned worriedly before sitting next to Jimin, ready to console her because, even though she was her crush's girlfriend, jimin was and always will be her sister, leader, and friend.
"what happened?" aeri asked quietly.
"nothing is happening. i hate it." jimin replied, huffing angrily, and she went on to explain when aeri just stared at her in confusion. "y/n and i haven't been able to see each other in a few weeks because of my idol career, which is frustrating."
"y/n has her own job as well, and her boss is making everyone work overtime." jimin added.
aeri sighed sympathetically, finding it difficult to discuss jimin's romantic involvement with you, but she continued to comfort and support her leader. jimin continued to rant about the situation, oblivious to aeri's internal conflict, before finally breaking down in the arms of the japanese girl.
aeri sighed and patted jimin on the back. "i'm sure there will be time for you two to meet up soon, unnie."
jimin sobbed quietly, "i want my girlfriend."
i want your girlfriend, too, aeri thought to herself, but soon felt guilty for her audacity. not wanting to betray both sides, aeri silently wallowed in her own longing, but continued to console her sad leader.
as promised, you called jimin as soon as you got home and engaged in a sweet and soft conversation with her while getting ready for bed, exchanging declarations of love and words of reassurance, but the call ended due to jimin falling asleep. you were ranting about something you couldn't remember then your girlfriend was snoring softly, which you found so adorable that you couldn't bring yourself to wake her up or get angry with her.
so you stayed with her on the phone for a few more minutes before hanging up and going to bed.
you were unsure of what to expect the following day. sure, you were aware of the upcoming busy day due to some projects that your boss had assigned to everyone, to the point where you were unable to check your phone, which kept vibrating due to notifications from family and friends.
when you finally got a chance to check your phone in the restroom, you were astounded by the number of messages and missed calls.
"what the hell is going on?" you wondered as you scrolled through it.
here are a few notifications on your lockscreen, ranging from worried to enraged:
have you seen it?
girl, answer the phone.
y/n, where are you?
are you still working?
the fuck do they mean?
please answer!
check your phone!
16 missed calls from mom.
you didn't get to continue scrolling because you frowned at the last two notifications before scrambling to open your social media account, heart racing wildly in your chest, but the photo that greeted you made you pause, wondering whether you should be thankful or regretful.
nonetheless, what you saw caused your heart to shatter. dispatch they had taken a photo of your girlfriend with jeno, stating nonsense in their article headlines.
aespa karina and nct dream jeno rumored to be dating!
"i'd date karina," you remembered jeno saying when chenle made a joke about who yizhuo would date and was overheard by everyone.
you leaned against the sink and covered your mouth as a sob got stuck in your throat, hoping not to alert any of your coworkers. while you examined the photograph, your heart pounded painfully against your ribcage. despite the masks, you could see jeno smile down at jimin while she was laughing happily with her head thrown back—the same way she laughed whenever she was with you.
your vision blurred as tears filled your eyes, making it difficult to see your phone screen clearly, but you did notice your girlfriend's name at the top of the messaging app, 46 unread messages from jimin, before it was quickly replaced by another name, which had just come in.
i'm on my way, y/n. stay put.
you collapsed as your knees weakened and unbuckled, clutching your phone to your chest in a futile attempt to stop your heart from beating so fast while you tried to catch your breath.
not only was your heart hurting, but it was also skipping a beat.
you curled up against yourself, tears streaming down your cheeks nonstop, trying to tune out the loud ringing in your ears that your mind mistook for jeno's taunting laugh while you waited for someone, brokenly whispering her name into the air.

"you may now kiss the bride,"
the reverend's words echoed through the air, signaling the culmination of a beautiful journey. in that moment, the world seemed to fade away, and all attention converged on the couple. time stood still as you gazed at the girl you love with your whole existence, captivated by her radiance.
yu jimin, breathtaking in her white wedding gown, adorned with delicate lace and pearls, took your breath away. as your eyes locked, an overwhelming surge of emotions filled your being. tears welled up in your eyes, cascading down your cheeks as you realized the magnitude of this moment.
you watched as jimin closed the gap. the room fell silent, and all eyes were fixed upon the soon to be newly wed.
as she drew nearer, her beauty intensified, an ethereal glow enveloping her. her eyes shimmered with adoration, the tenderness in her smile did a little something to your heart.
in that instant, everything faded into the background. the murmurs of guests, the soft rustle of fabric, and even the beating of your own heart seemed to vanish, as you look at her.
in that poignant moment, a flood of memories engulfed your mind, transporting you back to the time when your paths first crossed in high school.
amidst the celebratory atmosphere, your gaze briefly shifted from the present to the past. images of the bustling hallways, filled with laughter and youthful exuberance, flickered before your eyes. and there, amidst the sea of faces, you found yourself reliving the very first encounter with the woman who now is standing prettily in ber wedding dress, your beloved yu jimin.
you remember the day you first talked to her. panting as you walked up to the classroom after a particularly grueling p.e session, the scorching heat of the day engulfed you. beads of sweat formed on your forehead, glistening as they trickled down your temple as you curse at your p.e teacher for making you run three laps just for simply being late to his class.
with each step, the air felt heavy and stifling, making it harder to catch your breath. you were about to enter the classroom when you noticed a person, falling asleep in the classroom which made you raise your brow in confusion. you quietly made your way into the quiet yet suffocating classroom before realizing that it was the girl you’ve been wary of. not in a bad way, but just because.
as you approached jimin's desk, your palms grew clammy and your heart raced in your chest. the awkwardness hung in the air, almost tangible, as you contemplated how to break the ice.
finally, mustering your courage, you managed to speak up, your voice coming out in a soft, hesitant tone. "um, hey... are you okay?" you asked, concerned.
jimin, taken aback by your unexpected approach, slowly lifted her head from the desk, her eyes filled with a combination of pain and surprise. "oh, uh.... yeah, i'm... i'm just having really bad cramps," she admitted, her voice filled with a hint of vulnerability. her face as pale as a ghost.
you nodded, trying to convey understanding and concern, then swiftly exited the classroom.
jimin watched as you turned and swiftly exited the classroom, leaving her momentarily puzzled and unsure of your intentions. she couldn't fathom why you would suddenly leave after approaching her first.
you hurried down the empty hallways, your mind raced. you needed to help her. the heat seemed to intensify the urgency of the situation, urging you to find a solution quickly. you made your way to the school's convenience store, your steps quick and purposeful. the air conditioning inside provided a temporary relief from the stifling heat outside.
you scanned the shelves, searching for any over-the-counter medication that could alleviate jimin’s pain. finally, you found what you needed, a box of pain relievers specifically designed for menstrual cramps. clutching the medicine tightly, you made your way back to the classroom.
as you entered the room, you saw jimin looking downcast, her expression a mix of pain and disappointment as she had assume that you had left her in her time of need.
trying to hide your own inner turmoil, you approached her desk again, holding out the box of pain relievers. "jimin? hey i got these for you," you said, your voice gentle and sincere.
her eyes widened in surprise as she saw the medicine. "you got these for me?" she asked, her voice laced with disbelief.
you nodded, your cheeks tinged with a faint blush. "this is the least i can do," you explained, your voice filled with genuine concern.
a mixture of relief and gratitude washed over jimin’s face. she realized that you hadn't abandoned her, but had gone out of your way to assist her. "thank you," she whispered, her voice filled with sincerity and appreciation.
as the days passed, jimin couldn't help but be drawn to your kindness and thoughtfulness. she wasn’t aware of your existence before, but now she finds herself paying attention to every little things you do.
the classroom buzzed with the energy of high school students. some were diligently working on their assignments, while others chatted animatedly with friends. the atmosphere was typical for a mid-morning class, a mixture of focus and distraction.
amid the organized chaos, you sat at your desk, engrossed in your classwork. little did you know that jimin, was observing you from the moment the homeroom teacher left the classroom.
finally, as the noise in the classroom momentarily subsided, jimin seized her chance. she made her way to your desk, her heart pounding with appreciation. with a gentle tap on your shoulder, you turned to see her standing there, a warm and grateful smile on her face.
"hey," jimin said softly, her eyes filled with warmth, "i wanted to thank you for the other day" she said sliding an apple juice onto your table catching you by suprise. you were taken aback by jimin's sudden appearance and the earnestness in her eyes.
"oh, jimin," you replied, surprised, "it was no big deal, really." you flashed her a sincere smile, making her heart skip a beat.
the surrounding chatter seemed to fade away as jimin began to speak. her smile widened. "well, i appreciate it more than you know. and i wanted to do something nice for you in return."
the sincerity in her voice touched you, and you couldn't help but smile. "you don't have to, jimin," you said, still smiling.
jimin's eyes sparkled with gratitude as a tint of blush kissed her cheeks at the way her name rolls of your tongue "i know, but it’s fine! my treat."
as the two of you exchanged a heartfelt conversation, jimin’s deskmate aka her bestfriend couldn't help but take notice of the both of you.
as jimin returned to her seat, her heart still racing from her conversation with you, her desk mate aeri shot her a curious and somewhat suspicious look. aeri had been taken aback, shocked to see jimin interact with you.
you guys were the two pair she least expected to interact. you, a laid back person who rarely interfer with people’s business but presence always felt, and jimin who is the school’s beauty with brain who is a social butterfly that never fails to capture people’s heart but only she doesn’t know that.
aeri leaned in closer, her voice barely above a whisper, "jimin, what was that?" jimin's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she tried to maintain her composure. she stammered, "oh, um, that? nothing, really. just... you know,"
aeri raised an eyebrow, clearly not convinced by jimin's nonchalant response. "jimin, you've never talked to y/n before, and here you are giving y/n an apple juice?"
jimin's blush deepened, and she looked down at her desk, her fingers nervously tapping the surface. she mumbled, "it's just... y/n helped me out when i had period cramps the other day, and i wanted to say thanks. that's all."
aeri's eyes widens as she listen to the truth behind jimin's actions, "y/n did what? oh wow.. i really didn’t expect that but that’s so nice of y/n!"
jimin smiled gratefully at aeri, feeling relieved that her friend had understood and wasn't prying further. she knew that her interaction with you had surprised not only aeri but also herself, revealing a side of her she hadn't often shown at school.
your interaction with jimin increased ever since that day. be it on purpose or not, the interaction always ends with either both of you smiling from ear to ear.
one day, as you were leaving the classroom, you noticed jimin looking a bit puzzled over her english homework. without hesitation, you approached her desk. kneeling down to match her eye level, you caught her attention immediately.
you smiled and said, "jiminie? need any help with that?"
jimin looked up, her cheeks kissed by a tint of pink because of the cute name you had just called her, eyes lighting up with gratitude. "please! i'm kind of stuck on this part." she pouted, poking her book with the end of her pen.
you sat down beside her, and together, you worked through the english question. as you explained the meaning of the passage to her, jimin's eyes travels between the paper and your lips everytime you turn to look at her and it didn’t go unnoticed by you. it left the both of you smiling to yourselves as you guys seperated ways walking back home that day.
or when you happened to have an extra space under your umbrella on a rainy afternoon. seeing jimin without one, you offered to share it as you both headed to your next class.
jimin expressed her thanks, saying, "thank you y/n, i owe you one!" she said as she immediately went under it, hugging your arm so close to her.
you responded casually, trying to not make it obvious that the skinship she had initiated is completely blowing your heart off right now, "you’re lucky i checked the weather today, or we both would be sitting in our soaking wet uniform for mrs han’s class" you joked. jimin laughed, leaning her head on your shoulder adding the damage she had just did to your heart.
as you walked side by side under the umbrella, you shared light-hearted conversation, making the gloomy day feel a bit brighter.
you remember during lunch breaks, you occasionally found yourselves sitting at the same table. one day, you noticed jimin's lunch contained her favorite dessert stacked on her plate.
with a playful grin, you said, "jimin, is that your secret stash of chocolate cake?"
jimin chuckled and admitted, "maybe... i couldn't resist today."
you couldn't help but smile as you shared a laugh over her sweet indulgence.
-
you and jimin had grown closer, your relationship evolving into something special, a comforting routine amidst the chaos of school life. whether it was helping each other with classwork, sharing a spontaneous joke, or just quietly enjoying each other's presence, those moments had become the highlight of your day.
so, that morning, as you entered the classroom, you carried with you the expectation that today would be no different.
you smiled to yourself as you envisioned the friendly banter, the shared laughter, and the subtle but undeniable connection you had grown accustomed to.
it was this anticipation that made her absence all the more conspicuous, as the classroom's front door swung open, you found yourself instinctively looking in anticipation for jimin's arrival.
“where is she? she’s never been this late” you mumbled catching the attention of your deskmate, yeji.
“jimin? oh wait, now that you’ve mentioned?” the girl asks, looking around the unironically empty classroom
she was usually punctual, entering the room with a warm smile that brightened the day for everyone. however, to your surprise, jimin was nowhere to be seen today.
as minutes turned into the start of the class and she still hadn't appeared, you initially assumed she might be running late, something out of the ordinary for her but not entirely impossible.
yet, as the class progressed and the morning hours drifted into recess, the absence of her familiar presence became increasingly concerning.
jimin skipping school was a rare scenario. she was known for her dedication to her studies and attendance, never missing a class unless she was genuinely unwell. the worry began to gnaw at you as you couldn't shake the feeling that something must be amiss.
as the bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, your sense of unease about jimin's absence intensified.
without wasting a moment, you rushed over to aeri, your classmate and friend who sat nearby. with a sense of urgency, you leaned in and asked, "hey, aeri, do you know where jimin lives?"
aeri, who had also been worried about jimin's absence, hesitated for a moment. she had been considering checking on jimin herself but seemed relieved that you were willing to take the initiative. still, she needed some reassurance.
"why do you want to know, and what are you planning to do?" aeri inquired with a concerned look
you quickly reassured her, realizing her concerns were valid. "aeri, i'm genuinely worried about her. she's never missed school like this, and i just want to make sure she's okay. i won't be a creep or anything, i promise."
aeri nodded, finally relenting. "alright, i was planning to go check on her too, but if you're going, that's fine. please make sure she's okay." she said as she sends you jimin’s address through kakaotalk.
with a grateful smile, you appreciated aeri's understanding and support. "thank you, aeri. i'll let you know as soon as i find out anything."
as you turned to leave, aeri couldn't resist teasing you a bit more, her playful tone making you flustered. "you know, she probably overslept and here you are, worrying too much! turning into a detective and shit" aeri giggled at the end of her words.
you chuckled and rolled your eyes at aeri’s playful banter, “oh come on, can’t help that i care for her”
“oh??” aeri’s eyes widen as she whipped her head towards you and then back and forth to the people around her wondering fi they heard what you had just said.
"please shut the fuck up aeri. i'll be quick, don't worry."
with that, you left school in a hurry, determined to check on jimin's well-being, even if it meant your concerns might prove unfounded, and aeri's teasing still ringing in your ears.
after rushing to jimin's house, your heart pounded with worry as you stood outside. to your suprise, the door creaked open, and there stood jimin, looking even paler than you had feared, her eyes heavy with exhaustion.
your worry surged as you saw her, and without a second thought, you sprinted towards her, catching her by surprise. "jimin?" you exclaimed, unable to contain your concern any longer.
jimin's tired eyes widened in surprise as she turned to face you, her legs momentarily giving way. however, your quick reflexes caught her just in time, wrapping your arms around her and steadying her.
"oh god, are you okay?" you asked with genuine concern, holding her gently but firmly in your arms.
jimin's face, once pale with fatigue and illness, transformed as she gazed up at you. she leaned into your embrace, her voice soft and filled with gratitude. "i've been so sick, and i'm really glad you're here."
in that moment, as you held jimin close, the worry that had gnawed at your heart finally began to ease. you could feel the warmth of her presence and the depth of her gratitude in the way she clung to you.
jimin, still leaning against you, whispered, "i didn't want to worry anyone, but i've been feeling so sick lately. i thought i could push through it, but today was just too much."
you gently stroked her hair, a soothing gesture, and replied with heartfelt concern, "don’t be so harsh on yourself, okay?"
as you entered the house with jimin leaning on you, your heart filled with worry and care for her well-being. carefully guiding her towards the unfamiliar house, you searched for the living room. you carefully let jimin rest on the couch, before fixing a couple strands of hair that was hiding her pretty face. "what happened? why are you so sick?"
jimin, still looking drained but grateful for your presence, explained in a weak voice, "i caught a cold last night, and it just got worse. my parents are out for the weekend’s outstation trip, and i didn't want to bother them. but i’ve been too weak to even get out of bed, let alone go out and get medicine or eat."
“you should’ve called me. i was so worried about you jimin” your concern for jimin had poured out in your words, reflecting just how much you cared about her.
you were taken aback by the depth of your own emotions, and for a moment, you felt a rush of shyness as you realized how openly you had expressed your care for her, “.. or you could’ve called aeri”
gently placing the pillows and helping her settle on the couch, you stammered, "let’s get you some medicine and something to eat”
the realization of your deep feelings for jimin had made you momentarily shy, you cursed to yourself when you realized how you sounded just now but your determination to help her remained unwavering.
as you moved around in jimin's kitchen, searching for the medicine and the ingredients to make her a warm porridge, your thoughts were divided. on one hand, you were determined to find what you needed to take care of her. on the other hand, you couldn't help but steal glances at jimin in the living room.
every few moments, you would check on her, your worry and care evident in your eyes. she sat there, looking fragile yet comforted by your presence, and your heart swelled with the desire to ensure her comfort and well-being.
you found the medicine and the necessary ingredients eventually, but your occasional glances at jimin throughout the process were a testament to your unwavering concern for her.
few minutes passed and as you stood by the stove, carefully stirring the porridge and making sure the medicine was ready, you felt a pair of eyes on you. turning slightly, you found jimin sitting in the living room, her gaze fixed on you. her eyes held an expression you couldn't quite place—gratitude, warmth, and something more.
a gentle smile formed on your lips as you continued to cook, but you couldn't ignore the flutter of your own heart. it was as though you could feel the intensity of her emotions from across the room.
"should i turn on the tv to distract you while you eat?"
jimin’s gaze never left you as she shook her head softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "no, i just want to look at you."
your heart skipped a beat at her words, and a warmth washed over you. with the bowl of warm porridge and the medicine in hand, you returned to where jimin was sitting in the living room.
you offered her the food, and she accepted it with a grateful smile.
“careful, it’s hot” you said, sitting down next to her on the comfy couch. her small hands proceed to take the bowl from you.
however, as she reach for the spoon, she couldn't resist a playful grin. she set the spoon down in your hand, pretending to be weak, and looked up at you with big, pleading eyes. "could you,, feed me?"
you chuckled softly at her playful request, charmed by her antics. "what got into you?"
“i dont know” jimin faked a cough, making you roll your eyes in a joking manner. “maybe it’s the cold that is getting to me” she playfully giggled as you pick up the spoon. jimin's playful request to be fed made your heart flutter, and you couldn't help but smile as you continued to feed her.
with each spoonful, she would occasionally blow on the hot porridge and then take a small, delicate bite, all while maintaining eye contact with you.
a soft chuckle escaped your lips as you couldn't resist teasing her. "you know, jimin, you're quite the drama queen today."
jimin giggled, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "well, i have to take advantage of being sick, right?"
you nodded in agreement, playing along with her delightful antics. "that's true. and it gives me the chance to pamper you a little."
jimin's cheeks turned a faint shade of pink as she gazed at you, her voice soft and filled with warmth, looking at you with wide eyes. "that’s so sweet?"
your heart skipped a beat at her words, and you couldn't help but feel a rush of affection. "only for you,”
the rest of the evening was filled with shared laughter, playful banter, and moments that made your heart swell with fondness.
jimin felt a change in the air. her heart raced a little faster whenever you looked at her, and a warmth spread through her chest as she enjoyed your company. it was in those quiet moments when you shared stories and exchanged smiles that jimin couldn't help but wonder if there was something more between you both, or if you felt like this towards her as well.
in all honesty, you were aware that your feelings for her were far from simple. every time you see her, your emotions swelled, intensifying your desire to be transparent about your affection for her.
and finallly after much contemplation and discussion with one of your closest friend yunjin, you had finally devised a well-thought-out plan to address your emotions and reveal to jimin just how much you cherished her.
it was during this vibrant season that yunjin, one day in class, (not so) suddenly exclaimed, "you guys! there's a firework festival happening this weekend! we should all go together!"
the idea of a firework festival was met with enthusiasm from your classmates, and as the conversation buzzed around you, you couldn't help but seize the opportunity. nervously, you turned to jimin and asked, "will you be free to join me?"
jimin looked at you, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "why is that even a question? i’m always free if that means i get to spend time with you"
you smiled, so stupidly that you wish you could just wash your whole expression off right at the moment. you laughed and internally let out a deep sigh, one of you and yunjin’s biggest concern is jimin not being able to make it this weekend.
your heart raced with anticipation as you managed to invite jimin. however, you couldn't help but feel a bit jittery, knowing that the firework festival was the perfect setting to finally confess your feelings to her.
the days leading up to the festival were filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness. you wanted everything to be perfect, and you couldn't stop thinking about how to express your emotions to jimin.
yunjin decided to pay you a visit at your house to offer her support in preparation for your confession to jimin. constantly having to reassure you that everything will be okay as she picks what would look good on you for the upcoming night.
she was there to assist you in choosing the right words to express your feelings, select the perfect outfit to wear on this momentous occasion, and guide you on what steps to take immediately after confessing. her presence and advice provided a sense of comfort and assurance as you geared up to share your heartfelt emotions with jimin.
the warm summer evening bathed the surroundings in a soft, golden glow. jimin’s eyes sparkled with excitement and happiness when she saw you walking towards her, sitting next to her on the shared mat.
she was pretty. you couldn't help but stare at jimin, who looked absolutely stunning with her hair tied into a messy bun, her bangs covering her forehead.you were staring a little bit too much, too much that jimin waved her hand in front of you, snapping you out of your trance.
unable to contain your affection, you gently fixed her bangs, "hi pretty, you look absolutely breathtaking." jimin's cheeks turned a lovely shade of pink as she glanced at you, her smile radiant. "and you, you clean up pretty well too."
as you and jimin waited for the festival to begin, the conversation flowed effortlessly, and every word you exchanged felt like another step closer to the confession you had been eagerly waiting to make.
jimin's eyes twinkled as she talked about her favorite firework shapes. "i've always loved the ones that look like colorful stars. what about you?"
you couldn't help but chuckle. "i'll have to go with the ones that burst into a heart shape. they remind me of you."
jimin's cheeks turned a delightful shade of pink, and she playfully nudged you. "you’re such a charmer, aren’t you?"
as the festival grounds starts to get crowded, the atmosphere became increasingly electric. the anticipation was palpable as you both felt relief to find a spot to enjoy the fireworks beforehand. you and jimin shared a quiet moment, taking in the anticipation in the night sky.
right before the first firework was about to light up the night sky, your heart brimmed with excitement. you turned to jimin, a warm smile plastered on your face as you gently took her hand in your own. your fingers interlaced, and in that moment, it felt like the world around you had faded away,
jimin, caught off guard by your sudden hand-holding, blinked in surprise. her cheeks flushed with a rosy hue, and her eyes sparkled with a mixture of delight and endearment. she didn't pull her hand away but instead tightened her grip on yours, her smile growing even brighter. her reaction was undeniably cute, and it made your heart skip a beat.
with a soft smile, jimin leaned closer, her voice a gentle murmur. "i'm so glad you invited me tonight. it means a lot to me."
"i wouldn't want to be here with anyone else, jimin." a gentle smile graced her lips, and her eyes seemed to shimmer with appreciation and affection. your words had clearly touched her heart, and her voice held a hint of tenderness as she responded.
“remember, first burst and you’re on it” yunjin’s voice rang in your head as you nervously anticipated the first burst of the fireworks.
as if on cue, the first burst of fireworks painted the night sky with a dazzling array of colors. in the gentle glow of the fireworks, you turned to her, your heart brimming with love. "jimin," you began, your voice soft yet filled with sincerity,
jimin turn to look at you, as if you’re the most important thing in the universe right now. the words you had been waiting to say spilled out from your heart, "jimin, there's something i've been wanting to tell you."
jimin's eyes widened with curiosity, her gaze that waslocked onto yours, deepened "what is it?"
your voice continued, each word carrying the weight of your emotions. "i want you to know that i really care about you, jimin. you mean so much to me, and i... i think i'm in love with you."
jimin's eyes shimmered with a mixture of surprise and emotion as the fireworks faded into the night. there was a small pause that felt like an eternity. the world seemed to hold its breath as you anxiously waited for her response, your heart pounding with uncertainty.
in that brief moment of silence, you couldn't help but worry that you might have overwhelmed her or said too much, too soon. but then, as the next burst of fireworks filled the night sky, jimin's eyes welled up with tears, and a smile broke across her face like the dawn of a new day.
jimin leaned closer, her voice filled with affection. "you have no idea how happy you've made me tonight. i've been waiting to hear those words from you."
your heart swelled with love, and you gently cupped her face, your thumbs brushing away a stray tear. "jimin, you're the most incredible person i've ever met. you deserve all the happiness in the world."
the next firework burst into the sky, casting a soft, romantic glow over both of you. you leaned in, and your lips met in a sweet, tender kiss, sealing your confession with a promise of a new chapter in your lives.
as the night continued with its magical display, the two of you held each other, feeling like the luckiest people in the world. your love had found its moment to shine, just like the fireworks in the summer night sky.
as the fireworks festival came to a close, you walked jimin home, hand in hand. the summer night had left an indelible mark on your hearts, and the gentle evening breeze seemed to carry the whispers of your newfound love.
the conversation between you both was easy and sweet, filled with dreams of the future. as you reached her doorstep, the moment to part ways arrived, and you couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness. jimin, however, looked up at you with a soft, affectionate smile.
"i had the most amazing night with you," she said, her voice filled with warmth.
you couldn't agree more. "i can't wait for more nights like these." your grip on her hand tighten, as she bring the back of your hand to her lips, kissing it softly.
jimin's eyes twinkled with excitement, and she hesitated for a moment before speaking. "so, now that we're, you know, partners... how should we address each other?"
you chuckled, realizing you hadn't quite clarified that yet. "i think we can keep it simple. do you have any special name you'd like to be called? i'd love to hear it."
jimin blushed at the suggestions, and then she looked at you with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "how about 'the love of my life'?"
your heart skipped a beat at her playfulness, and you couldn't resist grinning. "i think that's perfect, the love of my life." with a teasing glint in your eye, you added, "but maybe on casual days, i'll call you 'sweetheart' or 'babe.'"
jimin giggled at your playful banter. "you're spoiling me with options now, aren't you?" you leaned in, brushing a soft kiss against her cheek. "well, you deserve all the sweet names in the world."
the two of you shared a playful and affectionate moment and with that, you shared a tender kiss, sealing the evening with a promise of more beautiful moments to come, and a good night wish.
"come visit me in my dreams tonight, okay?" jimin playfully tapped your chest, eliciting a hearty laugh that left your cheekbones aching from the constant smile.
"you're getting awfully clingy," you teased, just as jimin closed the front door, leaving you alone with a foolish grin plastered across your face.
after that night, your bond with jimin grew stronger by the day. it was as if the sparks of love from that summer night had ignited a permanent flame between you two. you became inseparable at school, often seen together in the hallways, at lunch, and during group activities.
but what made your connection even more special was the low-key nature of your relationship. you didn't flaunt your love for each other; it was the little things that spoke volumes. the shared smiles, secret glances, and the way your hands would subtly find each other's during class or while walking down the school corridors. everyone loved seeing the two of you together, and your classmates often commented on how perfect you were for each other.
of course, like any relationship, you had your disagreements. there were times when a fight would erupt, sometimes over trivial matters and at other times over more serious issues. but what set your relationship apart was your commitment to working things out. you'd stay up late talking, apologizing, and understanding each other's perspectives. you made it a point to never let one another go to sleep upset.
jimin and you knew that in each other, you had found someone worth fighting for and loving with all your hearts.
as high school came to a close, jimin and you continued to be each other's constant support, studying together, sharing notes, and making precious memories along the way. it wasn't always smooth sailing, but the challenges only strengthened your bond.
one sunny afternoon, the results of the university entrance exams were released. you and jimin anxiously checked the list of accepted students. your eyes widened in amazement when you saw your names side by side on the acceptance list of the same prestigious university.
excitement bubbled within you as you turned to jimin. "love! we did it! we're going to the same university!"
jimin's eyes sparkled with joy, and she couldn't contain her enthusiasm. "i can't believe it! we're going to be together in college!"
the two of you shared an exhilarating hug right then and there, surrounded by classmates who were cheering on their own achievement.
with the news that you'd both been accepted into the same university, the excitement in your hearts was hard to contain. you decided to celebrate this wonderful milestone with a special dinner night.
as the sun set, you and jimin dressed up for the occasion, looking your best for the evening ahead. there was an air of anticipation in the way you smiled at each other, knowing that this celebration was not just about your academic success but the continuation of your beautiful journey as a couple.
you chose a cozy, candlelit restaurant known for its delectable cuisine. the atmosphere was perfect for a night of celebration. the soft glow of the candles, the soothing music in the background, and the warmth of each other's company set the scene for a memorable evening.
the waiter brought a delectable dessert, adorned with a sparkler that lit up the room. you reached across the table and took her hand, your eyes filled with love and gratitude. "i'm so lucky to have you by my side, not just tonight, but for all the nights that are yet to come. let’s do well"
she squeezed your hand, returning your gaze with affection. "i know, i can't wait to see where it takes us."
hand in hand, the evening continued with a sense of wonder and joy, as you celebrated your shared success.
as you both enrolled in the first semester at the university, your hearts were filled with excitement and anticipation. while you had chosen different majors, it didn't stop you from making time to meet up during lunch or to study together whenever free moments presented themselves. your connection remained strong, and the bond you had built over the years only grew deeper in this new chapter of your lives.
you cherished those moments when you could share a meal, talk about your classes, and laughing whenever the other makes a joke. those simple, everyday interactions were what made your days brighter.
however, as the semester progressed, jimin started making new friends and gradually spent more time with her newfound companions. the dynamic between you two began to change. she was excited about her expanding social circle and the adventures that came with it.
you didn't mind her making new friends; in fact, you were happy for her. it was her happiness that mattered the most. however, you couldn't help but feel worried about how less time she spent with you. lunches together became less frequent, and the study sessions no longer had the same closeness they once did.
your concern grew when she started attending parties thrown by her new friends. you used to accompany her and enjoy the gatherings, but as she began to attend more frequently, you found yourself getting tired and not as enthusiastic about going along.
it wasn't about jealousy, it was the fear that the person you had shared so many moments with was slipping away, and it left a pang in your heart.
in the beginning, you tried your best to be supportive and understanding. you knew that making new friends and embracing the social aspects of university life was an important part of the college experience. jimin deserved to have that, and you genuinely wanted her to enjoy this new chapter of her life.
however, as the weeks turned into months, the change in your dynamic became increasingly noticeable. your conversations became shorter, and sometimes you felt like you were the one initiating them. you missed those shared dreams, heart-to-heart talks before gong to bed whenever she came for sleepover, and moments of laughter that used to be a staple in your relationship.
in the span of 4 months the parties became more frequent, and you often found yourself neglected and staying back, choosing rest over the late nights of celebration. it was as if you were leading parallel lives, existing in different orbits. the anxiety of feeling left behind began to weigh on you.
one day, as you were going through your own class schedule, you saw a message from jimin about another party she planned to attend. you felt a mixture of emotions—worry, frustration, and the desire to talk things out. you replied,
“jimin”
“understand you want to enjoy college life”
“and make new friends”
“but i miss spending time with you and talking like we used to”
“can we find some balance”
jimin's response was quick, but it was clear that her priorities had shifted.
“i know, but i'm just exploring new opportunities”
“we always meet”
“let me have fun, pls”
her words stung, and you were left with a heavy heart. it was a difficult realization that the person you had shared so many memories with now had different priorities. you weren't against her growth or happiness, but the sudden distance between you two left you with a sense of loneliness you hadn't felt before.
jimin was excited about tonight’s party invitation she'd received and she couldn't contain her enthusiasm. you, on the other hand, couldn't help but feel the distance that had grown between you.
as jimin prepared for the party, you couldn't contain your frustration any longer. leading to you breaking the tense atmosphere as you confronted her. "jimin, do you really have to go to another party?” you turn to look at jimin who was fixing her bang and her annoyingly short dress. “you've been going out so often lately, and we barely spend any time together anymore."
jimin paused, her eyes flickering with a mixture of emotions. she retorted, "i have to, okay? i want to enjoy college life and have fun. it doesn't mean i'm abandoning you."
you were hurt by her response, and the frustration bubbled up inside. "it's not about you enjoying college life, jimin. i want you to enjoy it but it feels like you're choosing these parties and your new friends over our relationship”
jimin's frustration mirrored your own. "come on, y/n. this again? we should trust each other. i can't feel like i'm constantly under surveillance, or that i can't have a life outside of us."
the argument escalated, harsh words exchanged that neither of you truly meant. your voice grew louder as you tried to make her understand your perspective. "i just want you to make time for us too, jimin. is that too much to ask?"
jimin's patience wore thin, and her voice wavered with a mix of anger and sadness. "i can't be your only source of happiness. you need to find some independence too! you can't cling to me like this."
tears welled up in your eyes as you felt a profound sense of loss. "i'm not clinging, i just don't want to lose you."
the weight of your words hung heavily in the air, and it all became too much for jimin to handle. she couldn't take the mounting tension and your jealousy any longer. in a moment of frustration, she exclaimed, "maybe you should figure out what you want from this relationship," and then stormed out of the house.
left standing alone in the silence that followed, your heart ached, and you realized that something had irrevocably changed between you and jimin. you were left to grapple with the reality of her absence and the implications of your argument.
two hours had passed since the heated argument with jimin, and you were now in your apartment, trying to clear your mind and calm your racing thoughts. the silence in the room was overwhelming, and you couldn't shake off the heavy feeling that something had been irreparably broken.
as you went about your evening routine, your mind wandered back to your argument with jimin. you wondered whether you had been too demanding, too clingy, or if there was a better way you could have expressed your feelings. you had no answers, just a deep sense of longing for the way things used to be.
suddenly, the door to your room swung open, and there stood jimin, disheveled and with her makeup smeared. Her mascara had left streaks on her cheeks, and her eyes were red and swollen.
panic surged through you at the sight of her disarray. without a second thought, you rushed to her side and pulled her into a tight, comforting hug.
the familiar scent of the cologne on her shirt filled your senses, the cologne you had come to associate with the late nights she'd spent sneaking into bed after parties. it wasn’t your cologne, nor was it hers. and with all the mess right now, all your doubts and thought fell into pieces.
and that was when you slowly let go of the hug, slowly distancing yourself from jimin, "jimin, what happened?" you asked, tears welling up your own eyes as you figured out.
her breath trembled, her voice quivering with anxiety and guilt. "i slept with someone else... y/n .. i fucked, someone…” jimin sobs gradually grew intense.
“you..." your voice was barely a whisper, filled with the overwhelming hurt and anguish you were experiencing. "intentionally, jimin?" your voice broke
“i wanted to convince myself that i was just drunk, but it was all intentional. y/n .. i messed up-" her red shot eyes turned to look up into yours.
you couldn't meet her gaze, knowing that the same eyes had once locked onto another's just hours aho, sharing affectionate glances, breath, and kisses.
"you messed up?" your voice trembled with anger and sorrow. "that's an understatement, jimin. you betrayed us. you betrayed everything we had."
jimin's tears flowed freely now, and she buried her face in her hands. "i never meant to hurt you. it was... i don't know, i thought it would help me forget about all the arguments and our drifting apart."
the words stung like a thousand needles, and you turned away, your back to jimin. "so, you thought fucking someone else was the solution? how does that make any sense!"
she reached out to you, her voice pleading. "it doesn't. it was a terrible mistake, and i hate myself for it.
you couldn't face her; the betrayal was too raw. "jimin, i loved you more than anything, but this... this is something i can't—" your voice cracked, your movements faltering as the weight of heartbreak pressed down upon you. every word felt like a painful reminder of what had been shattered.
jimin's pleas for forgiveness as she sobs, her voice muffled as the tears continued to flow. her attempts to reach out and touch you went unanswered. she could see the pain in your eyes, the same eyes that had once gazed at her with love and trust, now clouded with hurt and betrayal.
your voice was still heavy with sorrow as you asked, "...what led to all of this? what caused you to betray us?" you breath hitched, holding back another breakdown “three years jimin. three years..”
her eyes were red from crying, and she seemed to tremble at the sincerity of your question. "i.. we were growing apart, and I didn't know how to handle it."
your heart ached as you probed further, "and who is it, jimin? who did you betray me with?"
jimin’s gaze fell to the ground, and she hesitated for a moment before whispering a name that felt like a dagger through your heart.
the truth was as painful as you had feared, leaving you both trapped in the aftermath of the devastating confession.
“lee jeno”
you took a step back, distancing yourself from the person you had cherished. the room felt like it was closing in on you, and you had to escape the painful atmosphere. "i need some space, jimin. i can't... i can’t be around you right now."
as you left the room, her sobs echoed in your ears, a heartbreaking symphony of the love that had been lost. your heart felt like it was shattering into a million pieces, and there was no immediate solution to mend the damage.
that had been the last time you laid eyes on jimin. in the days that followed, you spiraled into a world of sleepless nights and avoidance. your once vibrant social life dwindled as you withdrew even from your closest friends and family. you attended classes like a ghost and vanished right after.
jimin, on the other hand, wasn't faring any better. that night when you left her, she had spent hours in her room, blaming herself for the stupid decision she had made. she recognized the effect of her betrayal and the trust she had shattered couldn’t be fixed.
it was that very night when jimin made the difficult decision to delete and block the people she hung out out with at parties, distancing herself from the world she had become entangled with. she regretted not listening to you earlier, acknowledging that her actions had led to a point of no return.
while you deatached yourself from the world, jimin showed up on campus every day, determined to fix everything that went wrong even if it took years. she understood that she should be embarrassed and that she had to face the consequences of her actions. yet, she couldn't bear the thought of losing you and desperately longed for a chance to make things right again.
couldn’t bear the pain, jimin realized that she needed to find a way to bridge the immense gap between you two.
she decided to pour her feelings into heartfelt letters, carefully crafting each word as an attempt to convey the depth of her remorse and her desire to heal what was broken.
jimin’s determination kept her waiting at the cafeteria, just in case one day you might return to savor your favorite lunch. she knew deep down that you'd never show up, but she couldn't help but wait.
on tuesdays, she occasionally found herself waiting at your preferred boba shop, hoping against hope that you would walk in one day, ordering your usual drink.
but despite her efforts, you had completely shut yourself off from her and any interaction. your avoidance reached new levels, and you deliberately altered your daily patterns to ensure you didn't cross paths with jimin on campus.
it was as if you were leading an entirely different life, one starkly different from the world she once knew.
time moved on, and the years passed by, marked by the silence between you. jimin , however, did not give up. every month, like clockwork, she would send you letters filled with her thoughts, apologies, and hope.
they remained unopened, gathering dust on your shelf. each letter was a message of love and remorse, a silent cry for a second chance that you never acknowledged.
as you neared the final semester of your final year, the unopened letters had become a part of your life's background noise. it had been years since you last saw jimin, and you had grown accustomed to your separate lives.
seasons changed and the letters eventually stopped arriving, and you thought that perhaps this was the definitive end of jimin’s attempts to rekindle your connection.
the thought was bittersweet. on one hand, you found relief in finally moving forward from the heartbreak, but on the other, the weight of what was lost remained heavy in your heart.
then, one day, when you least expected it, a message popped up on your phone. It was from jimin. asking to meet you somewhere, and the mix of emotions that surged through you was impossible to ignore. it was a text that marked the possibility of reconnection, or perhaps, closure.
you couldn't predict what the meeting would bring, but you knew it was a crucial moment in both your lives, a moment that could change everything, or end the chapter that had been left hanging for so long.
you agreed to meet jimin at a quaint little café, and as you sat across from each other, the atmosphere was thick with uncertainty.
your mind raced with questions. was she finally asking for a second chance? was it time to open up your heart to her once more? you couldn't deny that you had never truly moved on from jimin, and the thought of a future together still lingered in the depths of your heart.
as you both engaged in small talk, the familiar smile she had always hown you kept appearing, making your thoughts drift towards the possibility of rekindling your connection. you imagined what it would be like to hold her hand again, to share your dreams and your life with her, as you once did.
but just when you were leaning towards the idea of a fresh start, jimin slid a wedding invitation onto the table, and it caught you completely off guard.
you blinked in disbelief, your heart dropped to the pit of your stomach. the invitation sat there.
the café's ambiance provided an uneasy backdrop for what felt like a pivotal moment. you couldn't help but ask the burning question. "jimin, what's this about?"
jimin's eyes met yours, and she took a deep breath, as if she'd been mentally preparing for this moment. "i know it must be a shock. i didn't want to keep it from you any longer."
you studied her face, searching for answers. "whose wedding is it?"
jimin hesitated for a moment before answering. "it's my wedding"
the words hit you like a ton of bricks. you felt like the wind had been knocked out of you, and you struggled to comprehend the enormity of the revelation. "your... wedding? i don't understand."
she continued, her voice shaking. "i never stopped loving you, but i couldn't keep waiting for something that might never happen. i tried to move on, and i met someone else. we've been together for a while now"
the truth was like a dagger to your heart, and you couldn't hide the pain in your eyes. "so, you're getting married. you're moving on."
jimin nodded, tears glistening in her eyes. "i'm not asking for your blessing or forgiveness. i just wanted you to know, to understand why i couldn't keep writing those letters or waiting any longer."
you couldn't find the right words to respond. the thought of jimin being with someone else, preparing for a life you once envisioned together, was a devastating blow. you knew that you had pushed her away, but you never anticipated this outcome.
in that moment, you understood that these words were not merely about her wedding. they were about the pain and heartbreak that had filled the void between you.
jimin's tear hung precariously on her lower eyelid for a moment before finally falling, and it was as if the drop held all the unspoken love and regret. the café, once a place of shared laughter, now bore witness to the depths of your intertwined emotions.
a solitary tear rolled down jimin's cheek, glistening like a diamond. her voice was barely more than a whisper as she choked back sobs, her eyes locked onto yours. "i'm so, so sorry."
silence enveloped both of you, a heavy blanket of emotions that neither of you could escape. the café, once a place of potential reconciliation, now held the bittersweet truth that your time with jimin had passed.
“you may now kiss the bride”
you watched as jimin closed the gap. the room fell silent, and all eyes were fixed upon the soon to be newly wed.
as she drew nearer, her beauty intensified, an ethereal glow enveloping her. her eyes shimmered with adoration, the tenderness in her smile did a little something to your heart.
you watched in silence as jimin closed the gap between her and her partner. the room seemed to fade away, and all eyes were fixed upon the soon-to-be newlyweds. the world around you blurred as your gaze remained locked on her.
as she drew nearer to her partner, her beauty seemed to intensify, an ethereal glow enveloping her. her eyes shimmered with adoration, and the tenderness in her smile was nothing short of breathtaking.
but in that very moment, the heartbreak was like a physical weight pressing down on your chest. you couldn't look away as jimin leaned in to kiss her partner. it was a kiss filled with love, the kind you had once shared with her. it was a reminder of the life you had hoped to build together, now realized in someone else's arms.
as you stood there, a sense of loss and longing washed over you. you couldn't help but wonder if you had made a mistake by letting jimin go, by not fighting for what you once had. the kiss marked a new beginning for jimin, but for you, it was a painful ending, a stark reminder of the love you had lost.
jimin offered you an opportunity, a chance to rebuild the trust that had once been broken. but you hesitated, unable to fully place your trust in her, in the one you still loved.
in the end, there was no one to blame but yourself. the choices you made, from buying her medicine back in high school to confessing your feelings under the fireworks, had all led to this moment. meeting jimin, loving her, had shaped your life in both beautiful and painful ways.
with a heavy heart, you realized that maybe those decisions, no matter how challenging or painful, were all part of your story with your beloved jimin.
my beloved, jimin.

Aespa Reaction: Their girlfriend being a ball of muscles
Saju: Before y'all come and say i stole this, I'M JENJENISMYSAFETY
Tumblr media
Karina:
• She loves it; I'm not playing around! Karina loves your muscles.
• Obviously, she would still love you without them, but they are a bonus that came with you, hehe.
• She feels safe in your arms. Karina is obsessed with your biceps; she always randomly nom on them (they are so meaty she can't help it).
• She makes sure you're eating well and not going through some diet.
• She gets jealous at the thought of other girls looking at you in the gym, so she literally buys a lot of gym equipment just for you to work out inside home.
• At the end of the day, you will be cuddled face to face with her hands inside your shirt caressing your body, talking about each other's day.
Tumblr media
Giselle:
• Giselle is a hot girl, but you had the ability to make her mask crumble with your cute personality and gorgeous body.
• She herself loves going to the gym, so you guys always go together to work out; she is admiring you most of the time.
• Giselle loves buying clothes that enhance your curves and muscles… What?!? Girly loves admiring you.
• She makes sure to remind you that you're a beautiful girl, that you're her baby and you shouldn't listen to people's stupid words.
Tumblr media
• Giselle always brags about you to the girls and staff, saying how lucky she was to have the most loving and protective girlfriend.
Winter:
• We all know that Minjeong is a woman of very few words. Well, when it comes to you, oh boy! She gapes like a fish; the girl has no words to say.
• She is someone that I see not caring much about types of body. But she can't deny that your body does things to her.
• She does not work out, but she does love being your cheerleader number 1, cheering you to finish your set.
• Winter loves laying on your back or with her face buried in your boobs; she loves the feeling of your strong arms engulfing her.
• She definitely hugs you a lot, the reason being that she just feels at peace in your hold, so she does it every day.
Tumblr media
Ningning:
• Yizhuo would be head over heels for you even more than she already was.
• We know that she never will beat the princess allegations. This was proven to you early on in the relationship.
• Yizhuo likes drinking, and I feel like sometimes she forgets all responsibility and gets wasted. And you end up carrying her back safely to her "castle."
• You're her person to go to when she needs to go shopping, and yes, you end up carrying everything.
• I feel like even though she would be a little possessive, she would love to show you off in a good way.
• She feels so proud and lucky to have you, to the point that she rambles people's ears off. She just loves her big baby.

School and interning is hard, but at least I get to drive
Driving w/ aespa
Tumblr media
A 2-hour drive never seemed so short
Karina
Tumblr media
When you and Karina decided to spontaneously go to Incheon for a day-trip, you didn’t realize how long the drive would be. Of course, you drove, she was your passenger princess after all. And maybe you still a kiss from here at every red light as payment.
You guys would definitely stop at interesting places this you along the way and pick up random souvenirs. Also she definitely takes the aux and plays the best songs. Obviously some aespa, but she would also put on some other artists, like BLACKPINK. During the car ride you guys also finally get the chance to catch up with one another. She might even bring up the idea of adopting a puppy together because of her recent interview.
Winter
Tumblr media
Despite you guys usually opting for days in whenever you get the chance, sometimes day trips are necessary. They bring excitement to your otherwise mundane schedules. She would definitely probably, honestly, nap on the way there. And as much as you want to wake her up, she just looked so cute wrapped up in your hoodie and blankets that you just couldn’t.
So instead, you put on some music and just cruise for the rest of the ride. When you guys do arrive at your destination, Winter is definitely going straight to restaurants. And who could blame her? She just endured a 2 hour long car ride, obviously she was going to eat the best food the place had to offer.
Giselle
Tumblr media
Definitely the most excited to go on a trip with you, even if it means a 2 hour long car ride. Would literally just be so happy to spend so much time together with you. And definitely has a stacked playlist made depending on when you guys leave. It’s full of good vibes to get you two hyped up during the ride.
Would probably ask to go through a drive-thru to get something to hold you guys over. During the car ride though, it gives you two a space to just talk about how your lives have been. She gets to discuss her recent promotions and you get to talk about anything you want. It just offers a place for you guys to talk together. And it was really something you guys had been needing because of your hectic lives.
Ningning
Tumblr media
She definitely made a playlist to listen to on the car ride. And it is straight bops! Would also definitely ask to get drinks throughout the ride, whether it’s boba tea or coffee. Of course, this also results in a lot of bathroom stops along the way, not that you mind of course.
You and Ningning would probably turn down the music around the one hour mark and just start talking about how you guys have been. Since both of you work, it’s been hard to find time to just talk and figure out where the other is. The car ride allows you guys to just talk about anything and everything, you guys even talk about the idea of the future together. But all in all the car ride was a very enjoyable experience because of who you got to spend it with!

Aespa Reaction | You giving them headpats
Aespa all members x gn!reader words: ~100 per member genre: fluff reaction warnings: none
Author’s note: This has got to be the most sfw thing I’ve written for this blog so far… I hope you guys enjoy this kinda stuff too 💕
Tumblr media
Karina:
you completely catch her by surprise when you gently pat the top of her head
resting your palm there for a while, you watch as she becomes flustered, immediately starting to ramble
"What are you...? Why...?" - she can't even form coherent sentences because of the way her heart is about to burst from the sudden action
you laugh and apologize, taking your hand away
she still doesn't know what to say, only a very quiet "oh" escapes her as she looks at your hand, now not resting on her head anymore
"I... I think I liked it though..." she mutters
so you pat her head again, this time making her a little less flustered, but still very much blushing
Giselle:
the utter look of disgust on her face as soon as she feels your hand on top of her head jdhxjxj
it's not that she hates it, she just never considered that anybody would want to pat her head??
apologizes once you quickly take your hand away and explains that it's okay and you didn't make her feel uncomfortable
"I'm just not... used to this kind of affection..."
actually becomes a bit shy now and looks around awkwardly
that's until you ask if you should do it again to see if she ends up liking the feeling and she nods
from then on, you patting her head becomes a very casual gesture of affection between you two
she's not suuuuper affected by the action, but she still ends up enjoying it!
Winter:
???
when your palm comes in contact with the top of her head, she simply bluescreens
stares blankly at you for several seconds, until you gently ruffle her hair and she frowns, blushing
you attempt to remove your hand, thinking that maybe she doesn't like what you're doing after all, but she quickly reaches for your wrist to keep you in place
"Wait. I think... I like it," she admits
you move your hand slowly, fingertips massaging her scalp a bit, and that's when she finally smiles
looks at you with a warm expression on her face
until shyness overcomes her again and she charges at you, throwing her arms around you in a tight hug and hiding her beet red face in your neck
Ningning:
starts giggling uncontrollably as she ducks away the second she feels your hand on her head
"What are you doing??"
she's still laughing and you can't tell if she's weirded out or just surprised
however, once she calms down a little, she asks you to do it again, even bowing down a little bit as if you weren't able to reach the top of her head otherwise lol
and as soon as you give her another headpat, she's laughing again
does it back eventually and with her being the one giving you headpats, she seems much more satisfied
gets way too into it tbh djbddjdj
congratulations, you have now unlocked her constant need to pat your head :')

I'M SORRY PT. 1 — yu jimin
summary : making each other jealous went a little too far.
pairing : karina x reader
tags : f!reader ; jealousy ; argument
requested: ✔
word count : 3.9k
parts : 【 pt. 1 】 【 pt. 2 】
Tumblr media
this was not how you expected your evening to go.
you'd think that if jimin brought you to a night out with her idol friends, she'd make you feel at ease. you didn't know them and weren't close to them because you weren't an idol. you knew their names, but not who they truly are as people.
so you expected jimin, your girlfriend, to look after you or at least talk to you in this restaurant she had taken you to. however, the moment the two of you entered the restaurant, she was whisked away by her idol friends, leaving you alone and perplexed because she didn't even look back at you or drag you along with her.
as you watched her interact with jeno and minjeong, you ignored the pain in your chest. her smile was definitely not that big when it was directed at you earlier today, but you assumed your girlfriend was just excited to see them and let it slip, and looked away when you noticed someone approaching you out of the corner of your eyes.
"aeri!"
the japanese smiled broadly at you and embraced you, which you eagerly returned. yizhuo appeared behind aeri and replaced the japanese girl, pushing the older girl away because she was taking her time embracing you. as you wrapped your arms around yizhuo, you sent an apologetic look to aeri, and the japanese shyly smiled back.
"come, unnie, meet the others!"
the guys were introduced to you by aeri and yizhuo, but you weren't paying attention because your gaze was fixed on the guy jimin was talking to. jeno had this expression on his face, and you recognized it because jimin has it whenever she looks at you, and you know you have it too when jimin does something ridiculously adorable. he had this wide soft smile on his face and crescent moon-shaped eyes as he watched jimin enthusiastically talk about something you couldn't really hear because they were too far away from you. they were standing close, perhaps a little too close for comfort because one wrong move and their skin would come into contact.
you shifted your gaze away when you felt a gentle hand on your shoulder. aeri frowned at you, her brows furrowed in worry, and you raised your brows in silent question.
"are you okay?" aeri asked, looking over at yizhuo, who was fighting with chenle.
you couldn't help but curse the japanese. when it comes to you, nothing would escape the notice of your best friend. aeri knew you too well, so even if you tried to lie your way out of this situation, she could still question you later.
"yes, ri. i'm fine." you smiled reassuringly, but aeri could see how it didn't reach your eyes as easily as it usually did. she couldn't ask you any more questions about it because you turned to shake mark's hand, who grinned cutely.
jimin, whose attention was drawn by the arguing duo, turned to scold them but stopped when she noticed you talking with mark. she watched you lean in as mark whispered something into your ear and you laughed, a red tint appearing across your cheeks, causing the canadian to smile lightly. a frown appeared on jimin's face, her ears turned red, and you would be able to tell she was jealous if only you looked at her.
however, you were too busy laughing with aeri and mark.
"come on, let's go! i'm hungry!"
due to haechan's insistent whining, everyone gathered around the table. jimin would normally pull a chair out for you, but she didn't. instead, she took jeno's hand as he drew her chair out, causing you to look at her in disbelief, which she did not return as she left you standing and continued talking to jeno and minjeong.
"here, y/n." as aeri pulled out the chair next to your girlfriend, she gave you an apologetic look, causing you to smile sadly at her.
"thank you, gigi."
jimin gave you a quick glance and watched you sit down with aeri's assistance, but she quickly turned away when the japanese gave her a hard glare. jimin felt bad for leaving you standing and strange because she was always pulling out your chair. however, her jealousy returned in full force when she heard you talking to mark, so she turned her attention to jeno.
both you and jimin were preoccupied with something or someone else while waiting for the food. it perplexed the boys, at least the ones introduced to you, as they stared at you and jimin literally back to back, not facing each other even once or uttering a single word between you two.
as much as it irritated you to hear your girlfriend laugh at someone else's stupid jokes, aka jeno's and occasionally minjeong's clumsy antics, rather than yours, your pride and annoyance won out. you scooted closer to aeri, the chair making a noise that drew jimin's attention to you as you rested your head against aeri's shoulder.
aeri tensed up, but relaxed once she realized it was you. "hey there."
"hey, gigi." you whispered. "can you help me out?"
"with… what?" as she trailed off, you could hear the hesitation in her voice. honestly, you were unsure about this as well, and aeri was aware of it. she pushed through her words, however, because she was curious of what you had in mind.
"making jimin jealous."
aeri knew it was a bad idea. she knew jimin would raise hell if you push her buttons, but how could she say no to your innocent face resting against her shoulder right now? more importantly, aeri was irritated by the way her leader was behaving.
so aeri nodded and rested her head against yours. you could see jimin glaring daggers at the two of you out of the corner of your eye, but she remained silent and returned to her conversation with the others, mainly jeno.
"y/n, do you wanna hear a joke?"
as you watched haechan wiggle his brows at you, you laughed. some of his members groaned, and jisung from across the table shook his head at you, but you wanted to give the boy a chance, so you nodded.
"alright. give it a shot, haechan."
mark sighed. "y/n, you're gonna regret that."
"yah! don't say that!"
you were having a good time because the boys were entertaining, especially haechan, who made the entire table laugh with his antics. although your girlfriend's behavior irritated you, you clung to aeri, trying to ignore the jealousy that bubbled up in your chest whenever you saw jimin smack jeno's arm.
you didn't know, but jimin, on the other hand, kept an eye on the japanese. she trusted aeri, but that was her girlfriend clinging on her arm. nonetheless, jimin interacted a bit too much with jeno.
soon enough, the food arrived. jimin turned to you out of habit to assist you with your food, but aeri had already beaten her to it. the leader watched with glaring eyes as aeri smiled gently at you, listening to you blabber about how much you love the food, and then filled your plate with it.
aeri shook her head in disbelief. "you always eat this, y/n/n."
you pouted at her. "what? you can't blame me! it's just so good, gigi."
"i know, i know."
at the sight of your adorable pout, aeri couldn't help but pinch your cheeks, her nose scrunched. jimin tensed up next to you, her brow furrowed, but she averted her gaze when minjeong spoke, catching your and aeri's attention.
"unnie, can you get me that?" asking politely, the girl pointed at the dish in front of jimin.
jimin smiled at her, causing the girl to flush lightly in embarrassment. "of course, jeong-ie."
your nose scrunched in disapproval at jimin's response, and your eyes squinted as your girlfriend did as she was told, even filling minjeong's plate. aeri noticed the sadness and jealousy in your eyes and placed a hand on your knee, diverting your attention to mark, who was answering renjun's random question.
it helped divert your attention away from your admittedly stupid actions and jealousy and toward nark, whom you found genuinely admirable that you couldn't help but compliment.
"wow. you're so cool."
mark stammered, unsure how to respond to your sudden compliment because you had just stared at him, dumbfounded, earlier. the table erupted into cheers and teasing, haechan reaching over to smack him, but mark had hidden his face behind his palms.
"i was just complimenting him." you tried to defuse the situation, but your words only made mark's face flush further.
jimin scoffing and tasting not the food but the disbelief on her tongue as you struggled to get everyone to stop. she side-eyed the still-blushing canadian as she stuffed her mouth with food, but her eyes widened in surprise when a hand from her right brushed her hair away from her face. she looked at jeno, who smiled back.
"let me just…" jeno trailed off, tucking her hair behind her ears. "there."
jimin cleared her throat. "thank you."
jeno's smile widened, and jimin turned to face you, who were watching the interaction as you sat back down in your seat. when your girlfriend's gaze met yours, you quickly averted your gaze. jimin sighed, disappointed and frustrated by your refusal to even look her way or interact with her.
the night progressed without a single interaction between you two, and as the seconds passed, you began to crave your girlfriend's attention and warmth. you tried to divert your attention by conversing with the other, but your gaze was drawn to your right, where your girlfriend sat, quietly giggling with jeno, who smiled as if he had won the lottery.
jimin, on the other hand, was just putting up an act, not wanting to come off as rude despite the fact her head's about to explode from the headache caused by your actions and jeno himself, and wanted nothing more than to snatch you from aeri's arm and be the one making you laugh right now instead of mark and haechan. however, your girlfriend being known as a prideful person, jimin didn't do anything.
that being said, at some point during the evening, you gave in and reached out for jimin's hand on the table. you tried to take her hand in yours, but the moment your skin touched hers, she jumped as if burned and dropped your hand, causing your heart to drop down to your stomach.
the pain spreading across your chest was unbearable that you didn't notice you had averted your to the palms of your hands, which you had dropped in your lap, tears obscuring your previously clear vision. however, before your thoughts could go haywire, you felt a gentle grip on your left hand and it was moved to another's lap.
you raised your head, sniffling quietly, and saw aeri smile at you. the japanese subtly wiped away a tear that had slipped and pinched your cheek.
"hey, i got you." she whispered softly.
you nodded, still sniffling. "okay."
"is she okay?" you heard mark asking quietly as you tried your best to compose yourself, and you gave him a weak smile when he tried to look at you, which he returned.
"something just got in her eyes."
you saw mark nod and he gave you another smile, in which you oddly enough found comfort. you returned it, but it was wider this time, prompting the canadian to nod and join renjun and jaemin's conversation. you squeezed aeri's hand, drawing her attention away from yizhuo and chenle. the japanese raised her brows in silent question, leaning forward.
"thank you, gi."
aeri smiled with a twinkle in her eyes that you couldn't recognize. "of course, y/n/n."
with aeri and mark making sure you were okay, all was going well, as well as this dinner could go at least. but not until chenle asked his best friend, yizhuo, a question that was meant to be a joke but was so loud that everyone heard it.
"oh? oh? who would you date at this table?"
haechan perked up. "well, that's an interesting question."
you and jimin both remained silent. you had nothing to say to that since you were dating jimin, and the leader had no plans to respond because she already had you. jimin glanced at your hand in aeri's hand, frowning sadly before turning to face jeno, who had leaned forward to answer the question.
"i'd date karina."
the entire table fell silent at jeno's response, the stupidly innocent boy staring right into jimin's eyes, and you watched as your girlfriend stared back, her eyes wide in surprise. you, on the other hand, could feel anger coursing through your veins as you glared at the boy, which the boy, unfortunately, did not notice.
"hyung?" chenle hissed quietly from next to yizhuo, who shuffled uncomfortably in her seat and looked at you with concern.
the other boys looked at jeno in disbelief, all thinking the same thing that renjun couldn't help but mutter. "idiot."
"thank you." jimin couldn't say anything because her worried eyes were fixed on you, hoping you'd look at her, but you shifted your gaze from jeno to the table.
"y/n."
when another voice joined the conversation, everyone was taken aback. jimin almost got whiplash from turning her head so quickly to look at the person who spoke, her eyes blazing with fire. you jumped out of your skin when your name was mentioned, your eyes wide.
"mark. what did you say?" jimin hissed, voice laced with venom, no longer caring about honorifics. you cast a worried glance at your girlfriend, who returned it but quickly averted her gaze to continue glaring at the canadian.
mark, on the other hand, was not scared of the younger woman and was not moved by her abrupt change of attitude. instead, he simply smiled, a small glint of mischief in his eyes.
"i said. i'd date y/n."
"are you stupid?" renjun grumbled underneath his breath. his members, with the exception of jeno, who had no idea what was going on, were all on edge, giving their leader both panicked and disbelieving looks.
the heavy atmosphere could be cut with a knife as the table fell silent. everyone was looking at jimin as her brow twitched, which was your cue to stop your girlfriend from exploding.
everyone flinched when two chairs pushed back so hard that they made an ear-damaging screech and a loud banging noise. as you stood in front of your girlfriend, staring at her and holding her wrist in a vice-like grip, the rest of the table looked at you, wide-eyed. you were so quick, in fact, that you predicted your girlfriend would jump out of her seat.
"jimin."
mentioned woman shifted her gaze away from mark and into your eyes, not liking the intensity swirling in your orbs. she frowned and drew you out of the restaurant, giving the smiling canadian one last look.
"what was that?" jimin asked, voice stern, as she abruptly turned around to face you once you were both out in the cold winter air that greeted you a little too eagerly, snow falling around you, and you almost bumped into your girlfriend's chest.
with her wrist still in your hand, you returned jimin's glare. "i should be asking you that, jimin."
jimin scoffed at the name, ignoring the sound of her heart shattering. "i was just stopping him from flirting with you, is that so wrong?"
"i could've handled that!" you responded and out of frustration, threw her wrist away, causing jimin to frown. "and he was clearly joking!"
"oh, so you're gonna let him flirt jokingly with you, is that it, huh?" jimin glared in disbelief.
you laughed, but it was emotionless and jimin could tell. "jeno was flirting the whole time and even a blind person could see he's serious, but you still let him."
"flirting? he's my friend and i was catching up with him!" jimin argued back even though she knew her argument was useless because you were right.
"jeno's your friend, i'm your girlfriend!" you poked her chest for emphasis, causing her to step back with every jab of your finger. "you ignored me the entire night to catch up with him, karina!"
jimin's face fell as her stage name slipped easily off your tongue. if her real name was painful enough, how much more so if you mentioned her stage name? jimin glared at you, tears welling up in her eyes, and watched you cry right in front of her.
"and you made me jealous in retaliation, y/n!"
"because you wouldn't look at me! you didn't even introduce me as your girlfriend, karina! your members had to do it themselves! is ningning my girlfriend? or giselle?" you emphasized, causing jimin to return her gaze to you at the mention of your japanese best friend's name.
jimin's brow twitched. "they knew! i mentioned that i'm bringing my girlfriend tonight!"
"and yet jeno still flirted with you!" you huffed indignantly. "you didn't even stop him, not even once!"
"this is ridiculous." jimin groaned in frustration, dragging her hand down her face to avoid looking at your angry face.
you gasped, offended.
"ridiculous?! you dropped my fucking hand, karina!" you pushed on her chest, and she let you, biting her lower lip to keep from crying and staring at you silently. "to catch up with friends apparently named jeno!"
you knew it was wrong to argue like this in public, but your emotions took precedence over logic. your chest felt heavy and your mind was racing from all that had happened tonight, so you needed to get rid of the frustrations as soon as possible, which unfortunately had to be the case.
"of course i would catch up! i haven't seen them in months!" jimin, still not backing down, yelled back.
jimin didn't have an excuse for dropping your hand, which she knew was a stupid move on her part despite the fact that all she wanted to do all night was hold your hand for her own comfort and to show everyone you were hers. she realized it was stupid as soon as she lifted her hand to drop yours, but she couldn't do anything because your hand fell and was soon found in someone else's lap.
"oh, i'm sure they're enthralled by you, karina!" you said, your voice sarcastic. you wiped your tears away, only to have more fall down your cheeks. "trust me. trust me. jeno did say he'd date you. brushing your hair, smiling so wide like a lovesick puppy, of course!"
jimin clenched her jaw, not wanting to be reminded by that question and the two responses that came after it. "and mark said he'd date you."
"we're still not done with this?" you laughed in disbelief. "you couldn't tell it was a joke?"
she nodded stubbornly. "yeah, okay. he's joking, fine. and what about giselle, huh? you were clinging to her the entire night!"
"i wouldn't have done it if you had paid attention to me! if only you would pay attention to me, not just jeno." you screamed, your throat becoming scratchy from how loud you were.
jimin tried to speak, but her words died in her throat as your shoulders sagged. as you sobbed quietly into your palms, the idol's lips trembled, and her pride finally yielded. jimin moved closer to take you into her arms, not moving even when you gave her weak punches to her shoulders in an attempt to push her away.
jimin winced in pain, but pressed small kisses to your temple. "i'm sorry."
it didn't take long before you stopped struggling in her embrace and jimin wrapped her arms around your waist, hiding her face in your shoulder. you sniffled against her hair, still slapping her, but not as hard because you were tired of all the stupid fighting.
"i don't know these people, karina! yet they are the ones who made me feel comfortable tonight!"
"i know and i'm so sorry. i'm sorry i dropped your hand. i'm sorry i let jeno flirt with me. i'm sorry i didn't pay attention to you. i'm so, so sorry, y/n, baby, please forgive me."
jimin sniffled against your shoulder, unable to hold back her tears due to how your tired shouting sounded right next to her ears, and quickly soaked the fabric of your shirt with her tears.
"i just want your attention, rina." you whimpered.
jimin nodded weakly. "i'm sorry, baby. i'm so, so sorry."
you wrapped your arms around her shoulders, and jimin drew you in even closer, needing your comfort and providing it for you.
"i don't want to lose you. i'm sorry, please don't date jeno. i'm sorry for making you jealous. please."
jimin rubbed your back as you sobbed against her, pulling back to look into your tear-stained face.
"you won't lose me. i promise i won't leave you. i swore and i'm telling you this again. i will never, ever leave you." jimin whispered, wiping your tears away.
you sniffled quietly as you gripped her top in your hand, finally finding her familiar comfort. "promise?"
jimin pressed her lips against yours, closing the gap. you responded quickly and felt her tears against your cheeks, prompting you to place one hand on her face and gently caress her cheek with your thumb. you chased the comfort and attention that you both failed to give to each other tonight due to petty actions and stupid behaviors, melting against each other in the snowy night.
you pulled away and jimin pursued you, but she stopped when she saw you breathing heavily and settled on resting her forehead on yours, breaths intermingling between you.
"i promise. let me make it up to you?"
mark turned to face the person who couldn't keep herself quiet after hearing a sigh next to him. the canadian blinked as he watched aeri turn her head away from the windows. curious, he peered out and saw jimin kissing your hand as she led you away.
"it's her, isn't it?"
aeri flinched, glancing at mark, who didn't miss the tears in her eyes, which she desperately tried to hide by blinking back.
"who?" aeri queried, her brow furrowed in confusion as she avoided mark's scrutinizing gaze.
"y/n." the canadian simply responded.
aeri chuckled, the bitterness not escaping mark's ears. "the one you want to date?"
mark scoffed, shaking his head. "the one you like."
at mark's statement, the japanese member tensed up, her heart racing wildly in her chest. mark was stating rather than asking. aeri chuckled nervously and opened her mouth to deny it, looking around to make sure no one was listening and was relieved to see them looking at you and jimin instead, but her excuses quickly died in her throat when mark gave her a stern look.
"yeah."
aeri wasn't supposed to be happy that you turned to her right away to make your girlfriend, jimin, jealous. her heart wasn't supposed to do stupid backflips all over when your skin brushed against hers mindlessly. she wasn't supposed to feel shivers down her spine whenever you spoke gently to her. she wasn't supposed to be so concerned with whether you noticed her clammy hand in your grip. she wasn't supposed to smile so brightly and happily whenever you complimented or thanked her.
uchinaga aeri wasn't supposed to feel this way.
yet, guiltily, she was.
"i like her."
uchinaga aeri likes y/n l/n, her best friend and yu jimin's girlfriend.
"i'm sorry, but i like her so much."

Jealousy w/ aespa
Tumblr media
If she’s jealous, she cares.
Karina
Tumblr media
Karina didn’t mean to fall in love with you, but looking back, it made sense why she did. You were always her favorite person to tease and flirt with, even though she used to insist that she did that to everyone. But, in her heart, she always knew it was different with you. If you didn’t laugh in response to one of her jokes, she would have immediately felt bad and try to make you smile at least.
Wouldn’t let her other members flirt with you, like period, maybe the occasional joke. But she’s definitely a little possessive over you. So at the end of a showcase when she goes backstage, where she knows you’ve been waiting, let’s just say she gets a little irritated when she sees some random person flirting with you. Or at least, they seemed like a random person at that moment.
She will definitely greet you with a kiss, entirely ignoring the other person and pull you away to her dressing room to leave a few marks on your neck so others would know what’s hers. When she kisses you, you entirely forget about everything too for a minute, it’s like your mind just short circuits at how soft her lips are, despite how rough she kisses you.
Winter
Tumblr media
“You’re cute when you’re jealous.”
“What? I don’t know what you’re talking I’ve never been jealous? And who would I even be jealous of? That nobody you were talking to?”
“That nobody? Do you mean y/f/n? Winter, they’re just a friend, they’re in their own relationship.”
“Well… I still didn’t like how comfortable they were with holding you so much. I thought I was the only one you did that with.” She pouts up at you.
“You are jealous.” you say with a smirk growing.
“No, I’m not.” she says blushing.
“You are. And a terrible liar on top of that!” You say fully smiling down at her at this point.
She buries her head into your chest and mumbles, “I’m sorry jagi, I don’t mean to get jealous. I just didn’t like that someone else was holding you like I do.”
You wrap her even tighter in your arms, “I see darling, if it makes you feel better, no one else makes me feel as good as I do with you.” You say, kissing the crown of her head.
Giselle
Tumblr media
For Giselle, it would take a lot to make her jealous, to be honest, she’s just that secure in your relationship. However, even she has her limits. Her limits being when your ‘best friend’ decides to monopolize all your free time. Eventually she corners you before you leave to go see her after spending the night with her.
“Since when were you two this close?” She asks.
“Because she has to leave soon for school.”
“Does she not have other friends to hang out with before she leaves? Why is it always you?”
“Honestly, I don’t know, she hasn’t talked about any other friends and I just reconnected with her like a year ago by chance.”
“Jagiya, does she know that your in a relationship?”
“No, why would that matter?”
“No reason, just… be sure to tell her that today.” Giselle would say as she kisses you goodbye.
That night when you return, you are a little… off to say the least. Turns out that ‘friend’ you had been hanging out so much with you, wanted to do a long distance relationship with you, however you quickly explained that you already had a loving and perfect girlfriend. Needless to say, the aforementioned friend, stops trying to hang out with you again before they leave. Giselle, a little proud after hearing the story, wouldn’t make you feel bad, but would definitely makeout with you… to start.
Ningning
Tumblr media
Ningning would probably try to laugh it off. It definitely didn’t bother her at all that after performing a concert, instead of getting kisses and hugs from you, you were busy talking to someone else and laughing at all their jokes. But you would know that something was bothering her.
Before you guys fall asleep, you would ask her what’s wrong and despite her insistence that nothing was wrong, she was just tired. She would eventually confess that she was a little jealous and mad that someone else had your attention after her concert. However, she understood why, the person was new and you were explaining to them the ropes of the whole operation.
You will probably end up comforting and holding her for the rest of the nights. Expect to kiss her a lot the following days to make up for the ‘kiss debt’ you had accumulated. Ningning wouldn’t want to get jealous, but she just couldn’t help it when someone else had your attention, even though she was right. there.
