that sound in cornelia street that sounds like someone moving furniture.... i actually always thought that was supposed to be thunder? like, she was walking down cornelia street and then there was thunder and it started to rain. and at that point she decided to go back to that apartment to be with her lover. kinda like the end scene of delicate. so i just always thought that sound was thunder, but maybe they really "moved the furniture so they could dance", like in ootw

I went back and relistened again and I guess it can be taken as a sound of thunder? I honestly commend you for having a theory to explain it anon, but to me it's always going to be a bad production choice.

idk the theory doesn't work for me at all, cuz the emotional conflict was basically resolved when the lover called and explained everything? I mean honestly it's grating enough for me to be stubborn and petty about it regardless lol
