I did do Farosh in PT but idk I didn't like it. I hate the mane variety or lack thereof where you must get creative. I sadly deleted it before taking a screenshot of it so I no longer have it saved. I did recently redid Ganondorf and Sheik and I rlly like how they turned out :]

Maybe I'll do Farore? Ik i did her dragon counterpart and didn't like it and I could maybe give it a chance again. Nayru would probably work, I don't think Din would work sadly 😔 idk how i would cheat in making it look like she has her whimsical wizard beard

why is mattel so allergic to giving their dolls curly natural hair

#like. i know irl black women can do whatever they want with their hair #black hair is super versatile and that's legitimately amazing #and i know giving hundreds of thousands of dolls tiny little braids would be very expensive to manufacture #even if the process is totally automated #but. would it kill them to give their dolls tighter curls??#or not just slap a few braids on top of straight hair and go 'eh good enough'#like. there are SO many natural hairstyles they could do that don't involve microbraiding doll hair #half up half down. fauxhawks. bantu knots. pineapple updos. tree braids. afros. afro puffs. thick twists. french braids #goddess braids. undercut fades. pixie cuts. literally just ponytails #like! there are so many options! and it feels like they keep hitting the mark #monster high

I've been doing a lot of picrews and like a good 70% of the time there aren't any good curly hair options for me to make my characters (or myself) and even less black hairstyles to make my black characters, and that got me thinking about how the sims is really bad about this too (or used to be? I haven't kept up with it) and it's just like mannn. character customizations really suck when it comes to textured hair!!! and I've seen the arguement of "it's hard to draw" or "it's hard to model" and it's like okay. on one hand, I understand if something is difficult that person is not obligated to put in a huge amount of effort for it, especially if they're just, making a picrew for fun? but on the other hand it's like okay i think I'm still allowed to think it's annoying and be frustrated there are no options, and that nobody really wants to take the time or put in the effort to learn these skills. yeah it takes effort but why isn't it worth taking the effort? it's art it's not going to be easy all the time. why are you gonna make a dress up game where the options are so limited. idk it's hard to articulate

#i seperated 'curly hairstyles' and 'black hairstyles' because like- even if there are no proper curls #there are still usually at least waves to approximate. theres no way to approximate locs or an afro with straight or wavy hair #that was to accentuate how limited the options are in that field #also not to mention textured hair/hairstyles literally arent fucking hard if you just practice LMAO #'its hard' oh so you haven't tried got it #sorry I'm getting frustrated #*hard to draw anyway i dont know shit about 3d modeling

besties i know im white but im genuinely fuckin SO stoked to see POC in SSO like- it just makes it feel more real and universal and like, how it shoulda damn been from the start. I think its cool as hell people can be THEM in this game like!!! Im fuckin HAPPY man!!
