El @ron.caballoviejo es fabricado por @industriasbravo.cia y aunque como marca existe desde 1985, no fue sino hasta 2006 que comenzaron el proceso de añejamiento de este producto. . Se trata de un blend de rones de 6 a 12 años y la marca es algo más secreta con el resto de lo que haría de este un producto excepcional, pues su precio realmente lo destaca. . En nariz tiene notas tostadas, especialmente de madera charreada, pero también hay uvas verdes, madera, café en granos, chocolate en polvo y aserrín. . En boca es madera quemada el sabor principal, seguido de nueces, avellanas, manzana verde, aceitunas y una nota jabonosa. El retrogusto es de manzana y miel. . Caballo Viejo es un producto del que no se supo mucho en su lanzamiento y hoy en día poca gente lo ha probado. Burla Negra es un ron del Caribe, aunque no especifica país de origen. Es añejado en Galicia en barricas de roble blanco francés, que antes envejecieron vino albariño. Este añejamiento ocurre durante durante "24 mareas vivas", o lo que podríamos interpretar como 24 ciclos lunares que son aproximadamente doa años. Hasta ahí suena como una propuesta atractiva y aunque en Galicia no hace mucho calor, puede ser muy interesante lo que aporte una zona costera con tanto viento. . Lo que no suena tan atractivo es que en las barricas donde se añeja el ron también hay agua de mar. Esto supuestamente es para aportarle un punto salino que era característico en el ron que tomaban los piratas en sus viajes trasatlánticos. Esto por un tema de equilibrio de los barcos y que nunca navegaran con barricas vacías. . En nariz es interesante, es llamativo, tiene notas de caramelo y notas dulces generales, almendras, una cierta nota achocolatada y un aroma que me recuerda a cuando abres la lata de galletas danesas. . Pero en boca es imposible no poner cara de asco y prácticamente arquear cuando tomas el ron. La inclusión de agua salada produce una combinación entre creer que el ron está malo y saber que el ron no puede estar bueno. El sabor de sal en el ron es terrible, pero más aún es la creencia que tener ese sabor es algo positivo. Una vez superada esa barrera de sabores (lo cual no fue tarea fácil), tiene notas de naranja confitada, vainilla, una fuerte y dominante nota mineral que más bien pareciera hierro y sal, y ciertamente las notas salinas ocupan el 80% del sabor. . Al final el @ron_burlanegra queda así, como un ron para tener en casa y reírse de la expresión de los demás cuando lo prueban. En eso el nombre Burla le queda bien. . Mil gracias a @ronesdevenezuela por burlarse de mí cuando lo tomé e invitarme a dárselo a los demás y reírnos todos.
