-Steven Universe The first character you loved:

-Suki!! I was like 12 and had started karate just a few years before watching it, so she’s beauty, she’s grace, she’ll kick you in the face -Wash, he’s the ultimate hufflepuff, and he does support by flying the ship, and his fucking dinosaurs are fantastic! (plus his actor played the droid in Rogue One)

-Oh heck this is hard. I think maybe Garnet with Pearl as a close 2nd. Garnet is super quiet, but a fantastic, badass mom friend.

The character you never expected to love so much

-Hmm. The Cabbage Man!!! He’s a staple. And Iroh, by like 7 episodes in I was like “he’s awesome” and he’s legit the reason why I drink more tea.

-Jayne, for sure. He’s an asshole but I love when he gets his hat, and when we meet his love, Vera. (even though it’s a little problematic, it’s still funny for the time). (but I got a whole mountain of problems with the actor who played him)

-Greg! I was just like “ok” when I first saw him, but by the end of the second episode I was like “He’s fantastic” ‘Cause of his little song whenever I start dating I wanna drive up to whoever I’m dating’s house and sing “Let me drive my van into your hat” to let them know I’m there. (although that’ll be harder given our old minivan was totaled like last year)

The character you relate to the most

-Sokka, without a doubt. He’s the older brother who looks out for people, and he makes terrible jokes. He may not be naturally the best, but he works his hardest and that gets him where he needs to go, and will put himself between his family and pretty much literal death coming at them, and charge it head-on (like when the Zuko’s  ship attacks the southern water tribe)

-Probably Simon or Wash. Wash is a goof and has a cool badass wife and his badass friends, and Simon is just looking out for his Little Sister, which I can relate to for sure.

-Hmm, that’s a hard one. Probably Steven (and some Greg and Jamie). When my friends introduced me to SU they said they were the respective gem moms, and I was the Steven of the group, which is pretty accurate, and it’s always stuck. (plus i’ve always been smaller and younger looking than most of my friends, so that adds a bit.)

The character you’d slap

-Probaby Pakku, i can’t stand how he’s sexist at first

-Jayne, without a shadow of a doubt. He’s everything that’s wrong with toxic masculinity. The actor who plays him too.

-Aquamarine, I despise her high horse demeanor and authoritarian-ness that goes with it.

Three favorite characters (in order of preference): -Suki: How to badass (Appa is up there too, he’s like a big newfie)

-Lapis, Pearl, and Greg

-Kaylee and Shepherd, they’re both precious cinnamon rolls.

A character you didn’t like at first but do now:

-Zuko, as his good gets better so does his fashion sense

-Inara, when I first watched Firefly I was like “why’s this person here” but as it goes on I grew to see her as a cool character

-Amethyst. At first I was like “hm, take her, leave her.” But now I’m like “No one hurts purple aunt.”

Three OTPs:

-Suki/Sokka, we never found out if they stayed together after Avatar!
