No. 6 Zine 2019 Contributors

Please welcome our 2019 No. 6 Zine contributors, especially our 3 guests!

@miyukiko​ is an artist whose absolutely gorgeous No. 6 art book or Nezushi reunion charm you might recognise. Miyukiko is also a cosplayer, and participates in other fandoms such as D. Gray Man and Granblue.

@ahikuboruchi​ is an artist known for clever drawings resembling the No. 6 manga. Ahiku is also a member of the RestructuralCommittee, and was featured in the 2018 No. 6 Zine as an illustrator and a merch artist (buttons, mug, postcards). You might also be familiar with Ahiku’s fics The Forest of Tranquility, Childhood Friends, or Revolution, which you can find here on AO3.

@listenforthelove​ is a writer who loves Safu and cross-overs. You might know listenforthelove’s fics Of Cold And Muffins, Six Times Fate, or One Day In May. Check out listenforthelove’s AO3 here if you aren’t already familiar with it!

Haha thank you! He had removed all the clean diapers from their bags, so basically the whole floor of his room was covered with them and he was just laughing in a sea of clean diapers... At least he won’t hurt himself like this^^

Hello!! I made a makeshift fan illustrated edition of Carry On by @rainbowrowell

That being said, enjoy this project that took me 4 days and could not have been done without all the amazing artists in this fandom. Thank you all so much for all that you do!

DISCLAIMER! I wanted to put every art piece I could find into this. I had originally 422 pieces picked. It all came down to printing and sadly my printer is absolute garbage and took that number down to 185. If you/your favorite artist isn’t showcased please know it’s not because I don’t care or don’t appreciate every artist. I do! My printer just sucks…anyway go enjoy the art!!

so i know you asked for my favorite fanarts, but i can’t put pictures into asks or links because i’m on mobile, so ill just say my favorite carry on fanartists, which are ahikuboruchi, nowhere-little girl, ddoale and littlestpersimmon. justcassiehere has a really wonderful penelope drawing as well. these are just a few though, there are so, so many talented fanartists in this fandom, and tbh all of their art is gorgeous.

and my opinion on agatha? i definitely don’t hate her, but i don’t like her as much as the other characters. but even though she’s a bit naive and selfish, she didn’t really do anything that wrong, so no i don’t dislike, or like her.

Welcome to this year’s free, digital, unofficial No. 6 convention: Reunion Will Con!

Look below the cut to find out how you can: win REAL prizes, promote your art/merch in our artist alley and dealer’s room, participate with art, writing, and (closet) cosplay/makeup, play fun games like Cards Against Humanity, and learn new facts about No. 6 and its (yes, still active) fandom!

We have not yet finalised the schedule, but all the events will be featured from the hours of 1PM EST to 6PM EST on Fri September 4, Sat Sept 5, Sun Sept 6, and Mon Sept 7 on our discord server (JOIN LINK HERE). The schedule will be released on tumblr and twitter at least 48 hours before the con starts. To get updates on this event, please follow @No6_RC on twitter and/or @restructuralcommittee on tumblr.

RAFFLE – all persons present in the server on Sunday will be entered into a random drawing for a paper copy of this year’s No. 6 Zine, Myths and Legends of No. 6.

Writing sprint – the person who writes the most words in an hour and the person who wins the judges’ pick will receive 2 nezushi themed buttons drawn by Ahikuboruchi or bedwithpills, OR an Inukashi postcard (your choice!). (Short works like poetry are eligible to win the second prize.)

Art sprint – two people who win the judge’s pick for best theming and best design after a 1 hour drawing session will receive 2 nezushi themed buttons drawn by Ahikuboruchi or bedwithpills OR an Inukashi postcard (your choice!).

Cosplay contest – one person who wins the judge’s pick during our closet cosplay, cosplay, and makeup fashion show will win 2 nezushi themed buttons drawn by Ahikuboruch or bedwithpills, OR an Inukashi postcard (your choice!).

Hey there! :)

It’s been a while, huh?

I hope you are fine, my friend.

After being lost for a very long time, I finally found a really great small company that offers communication trainings, voice coaching and an abundance of other trainings for the service industry. It’s for staff and executives alike. I’m currently learning how to organize trainers, trainings and other things and within the next two years, I’m also going to learn more about marketing and distribution. Since I’m now doing a professional retraining within 2 instead of 3 years, I’m going to be very busy... (My first week of business school is going to start on Monday! Exciting!)

Well, I recently scrolled through my Tumblr posts and thought that I don’t really just want to let my art blog die. It’s been way too quiet the last few years, since I don’t have a lot of time (and motivation) to draw anymore... but I decided that I want to keep my good old blog alive by reposting my old art once a week or so.  I’ve drawn sooo much and there are countless possibilities for new picture sets or things like that...

However, if you don’t want to see that, please put #oldart in your blacklist, then it won’t bother you.

You’ll find mainly find No. 6, Carry on, Eyewitness and also some random stuff here. And maybe there’ll be some new art as well... (but probably not very often).

So, if you’re still following this blog, maybe you’ll find some stuff to remember bygone times. Or maybe you’ll find something new that you missed in the past.

No. 6 Zine merch artists have been chosen!

We are pleased to announce that @ahikuboruchi, @arianwen44, @bedwithpills, @joichii, and @milkhorror will be designing merch for the No. 6 Zine. They are working on a variety of items for No. 6 fans to purchase, including buttons, stickers, postcards, and more. Items will be sold directly by us, as well as through Redbubble. All proceeds will benefit the anti-poverty organisation Action Aid, as voted for by our followers.

Merch designs will be revealed mid-June!
