AHAHAHAHHAAAAA FOOOOLLLLL we’ve survived an entire year of on-and-off animating for this A Hat In Time fanwork!! Taking place during the final Subcon Forest chapter and featuring the fierce combat between Hat Kid and The Snatcher. Place bets on who you think will win :))

….no don’t actually do that because neither one of them win since I got fed up with the project and am now discontinuing it lol. This is the most you’re ever gonna get outta me! But for what it’s worth I’m very proud of all I was able to accomplish and I hope you enjoy watching some of it too <3

The song used in the animation is Reliable Narrator by the music group Chase Petra. I highly recommend watching and listening to the rest of the music they have to offer. Very good stuff and severally underrated in my humble opinion

Snatcher Introduction Animation

It was very fun to make! The background turned out better than expected. And I learned a thing or two making this!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to clean up shot 3 and really bring it up to standard, as this was taking too long as is, but nevertheless it was a joy

I did some cleanup for @wisgarus 's animation based on @doodledrawsthings 's storyboard!! It was my first time doing something like this, it was so much fun!!! :D

hey tumblr sorry for being gone for…..like a whole month almost. school’s been keeping me busy and my counselor thought it’d be real funny to give me three AP classes to co-manage along with all my art, but I’m dropping one of them (sorry AP Psych teacher) so hopefully that’ll take off a bit of stress from me. anyways here are some shapeshifter thingies and le epic fnaf doodles

So 7 and a half hours later i made this full animatic :) this took me forever, but now with this done im hoping to get other concepts down and sketched!! if anyone has any animatic reqs for me to take a shot at too, like other cutscenes, id be so down to try! :)!!!

Obligatory update on the project yeah yeah!

Although I don’t want to outright spoil all the progress I’ve made so far, I can’t deny that I’m ready to brag about this spin segment looking hella cool jksjsksp. Just need to maybe add in the flame movement for the background + fix that one minions broken face but otherwise this part is complete :D

After a while of healing my arm I am back with some progress on that animation! Colored in the characters, and I'm very happy with how Snatcher turned out. Took me some finnicky work to get it like that, cause I don't have a pipeline for making lineless art (you can even see some pixelziation. I will fix it in post)

All that's left is applying this coloring to the first shot and getting in the background. Shot 3 will likely be black and white with simple tones. Since I will not be cleaning it up, it wouldn't look right colored the same way without extensive work.

I finally finished this thing that I had for a month- So, yes it is an AU where it would be the other part of the Subcon Kingdom also putting a bit of my Oc's lore in this case :D

This Au is going to be called "Forget Forest" on the recommendation of a friend

Edit: I just noticed that there are a lot of spelling errors in the description of Blade, but it's fixed now :D
