Who teases the others the most? it's a toss-up between lan xichen and jin guangyao, but none of them are above teasing. .

Who proposes? all of them, at different times, and each time something stops it from happening or it's a bad idea for some reason or another. eventually they good-naturedly give up and move on from the idea until nie huaisang throws them a surprise wedding out of nowhere. .

Who is the most protective? lan xichen. the misdirect is that people assume it's nie mingjue until a white and blue whirlwind comes out of nowhere to beat their ass. .

Who is the closest to the child? (Whether it be a fur baby, scale baby, or human child.) all of them are kept equally close to nie huaisang on the surface, by his express design. but if push came to shove of course nie mingjue would win out. that's his da-ge. we had a whole plot about it. silly question. .

Who gives the best advice? jin guangyao. lan xichen definitely gives the most digestible and compassionate advice but jin guangyao's advice is going to be spot-on every time. .

Who is like a therapist? lan xichen. he's working on that, though. .

Who sings B and C to sleep? none of them sing, but lan xichen often plays the qin. jin guangyao does not. .

Is the relationship healthy? they're working on it .

Do A and B have a stronger bond with each other? Or do C and B or C and A have a stronger bond? Or are A, B, and C close together [equally]? they're all equally close, after all they've been through. nobody's tallying up points like that! except jin guangyao, who absolutely is, and would say that the other two are still closer to each other than they are to him by at least 12%. .

Who can be trusted to be left home alone? all of them, and they frequently are. each of them rather values their own solitude and they need that alone time to stay grounded and healthy. .

editing is SO FUN it's like tidying up and putting everything in its proper place, it's like solving a jigsaw puzzle, it's soothing to my brain but also it wires me. i don't have to originate and create new things, i just get to work with all the bits and pieces already made like a whole set of toys there for me to play with and arrange in a pleasing order. i like spotting problems and fixing things and vibing with things and perfecting the details on things and taking raw material and tweaking it to really tap into its full potential. it's Nice.

Who sleeps in the middle? more often than not changheng isn't even there and there is no middle. however, when he is dongfang qingcang and changheng take turns. it started as a more sincere fight for who gets to have middle and now it's just tradition to argue. it makes xiao lanhua laugh. .

Who is the best cuddler? xiao lanhua. coming into her inheritance of power did not even remotely stop her from being the most cuddly bean and the time she lived without it while she was trying a bit too hard to be someone she's not were the worst days of her life. .

Who gets hurt the most? changheng. he's become rather reckless and favours the mortal realm besides. .

Who acts like the baby? xiao lanhua, unmatched. .

Who teases the others the most? also xiao lanhua. it does not take her very long to rediscover the joys of occasionally being just such a brat. .

Who proposes? dongfang qingcang. first to xiao lanhua, who finally truly accepts. then after a lot of trials and grudging admissions and time spent with changheng in their bed and xiao lanhua's relentless teasing, he finally caves and asks changheng to marry them too. .
