Bankoku Bridge (万国橋) in Yokohama provides access from Bashamichi Station to Akarenga Park and the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse plaza. What makes this bridge standout is its enchanting view of towering skyscrapers gracing the waterfront.

This spot is a favorite among street photographers and tourists alike, especially during nighttime when the towers cast mesmerizing starry-like reflections on the water.

Ōsanbashi Pier (大さん橋) is the main international passenger pier at the Port of Yokohama, located in Naka Ward, Yokohama, Japan. It's designed by spanish architech Alejandro Zaera-Polo and iranian bron british arquitect Farshid Moussavi. It's a great spot to see the sunset with Yokohama's Minato Mirai, Landmark Tower and Akarenga Sōko buildings, and therefore it's considered to be a romantic spot for japanese couples.

💖 - favorite place to be? Maybe at my mum's house. It's by a river and is currently mainly used as the family holiday home.

💘 - someone you look up to & why? This is an unexpectedly difficult question. I can't think of anyone.

💃- compliment some people you admire! Again, I can't really think of anyone specifically, but I admire people who do the jobs I wouldn't want to do. Like cleaners and nurses and doctors and teachers.

💋 - dream getaway location & what you’d do there? I just really want to back to Japan. (ಥ﹏ಥ) It's been over ten years, I can't believe it's been that long. I was supposed to go in 2019 with my job, but I got laid off a few months before. :(

I spent an exchange year there when I was high school age. I'd like to visit my host families and meet people I know there. And visit familiar places. I'd go to Kamakura and do my after-school walk from Yokohama station to Kannai Minatomirai, Akarenga, Yamashita Park, and China Town. I'd also go to Senzoku where I lived in Tokyo a few years later. And I'd like to visit places I've never been to further away from Yokohama and Tokyo.

Entrepôt Akarenga Soko - 🧱 Les briques rouges de Yokohama

Akarenga Soko désigne un ensemble de 2 bâtiments historiques de la fin de l’ère Meiji (1868 - 1912), construits en briques rouges et situés dans le quartier portuaire de Minato Mirai 21 à Yokohama.
