Alright. What are some of your favorite villain and/or antagonist moments in Naddpod campaigns?
Could be a moment that made them sympathic, pathetic, extra punchable, big funny, or that made their ending that much more satisfying. Your choice.
warning for naddpod c1 & c3 spoilers under the cut!!
this is a tough question... i think my number one favorite has to be when they meet ilsed in hell and they discover what akarot Really Is. the reveal that he mimicked bev, just a devoted paladin who wants his dad to be proud of him, to lure bev in, and that he'd done the same to ilsed... pretending to understand, pretending to be just like you, preying on the young and the lonely and the outcast, the ones who just want a friend. only to grab you and pull you in and never let go. it makes me sick! it's terrifying! it's scarily real!
second of course is the pestilence/erdan reveal in 97 because oh my god. oh my GOD. "do you understand what i'm saying, beverly?" is the craziest line drop murph has ever done ever. i was stressed in real life i thought i was going to vomit for real.
eloise in 29. oh my god. she took their idea to help calder and used it against them. the whole "what's real and what isn't" thing always gets me i think it's so neat, especially in combat. and the geas reveal with cooter later and finding him bleeding after taking the psychic damage because he gave mawmaw a good berry... he was a berry boy. god its so crazy. war mongering cricks i hope you never find peace and i hope big bev kills you! peace and love
this one doesn't really count as a villain moment BUT. the reveal that bealexandrite has been slowly replacing the cells of every mothership bronze employee with ones that are in the network. albin says it so casually. that everyone who's ever worked there is effectively dead. and i don't even think the duck team knows what that means yet... but i do. and it's fucking scary! they sent swag right where they wanted him. jesus dude.
i haven't finished eldermourne and also don't remember any of it because i'm dumb and stupid so unfortunately not included here... eventually though. i swear.
