My name is Amy J. Leonard of Safe Harbour Addiction Counseling and I am licensed Drug & Alcohol Counselor (LCDAC) in Ocean Pines, MD. I have a Master's degree in Professional Counseling and I am a certified Master Addiction Counselor. I have 10 years of experience in addiction treatment; and I own a private practice, which enables me to provide individualized care that is attentive and effective. With flexible scheduling, quick response times, discretion, and quality care, I am able to provide my patients with a variety of treatment options and assist them in selecting the one that is best for them.
Prior to the patient's first session, I provide a thorough assessment to determine the main areas of concern and identify goals. I specialize in addiction counseling, which includes drug addiction counseling, alcohol addiction counseling, and gambling addiction counseling. While it isn't always easy to ask for help and the road to healing may be challenging, going to counseling is a courageous first step--one I encourage you to make.
If a patient is transferring from an in-patient facility, pricing for the initial assessment is reduced, with discounted rates for group therapy if the patient is already participating in individual addiction counseling. To speak to a compassionate and qualified substance abuse counselor, please contact me at Safe Harbour Addiction Counseling and begin your journey towards recovery today.
