First part of Michael Sheen's appearance on The One Show to talk about how he contributed to the podcast Buried: The Last Witness
Transcript:
Anita Rani: It's time now to welcome one of our favorite actors. He starred in good omens, Twilight and The Queen, and just this year, took to the stage at the National Theatre and has made his directorial TV debut in the BBC drama, The Way: please welcome Michael Sheen
(round of applause in the studio)
Alex Jones: You know much we love having you here. Yeah, we do. Do you know what the viewers love when you're on? Because we've been inundated already. So we're gonna, we're gonna get straight to it. Laura says, I saw you and I in Cardiff, and it made me cry.
Michael Sheen: Aw, it was that bad
AJ: And we saw you sing and dance. She said, We saw you sing and dance. Andrew will be interested knowing the answer here. Would you ever consider a musical?
MS: Oh, I've considered it many times. It doesn't really consider me. That's the problem. I wish I had been blessed with the voice to play Judas in Jesus Christ's superstar. I remember listening to Jesus Christ Superstar over and over again in my bedroom when I was a teenager, on my record player and just thinking, If only I could sing that song. And whenever I hear that, there's nothing more thrilling.
AJ: You're Welsh you can do it
MS: but it's so high, you sing so high
Andrew Lloyd Webber: maybe something a little bit less demanding.
MS: Yes, I know Welsh people don't do anything by half, Andrew.
AJ: Andrew,do you have anything with a rap in it? Maybe that
MS: oh god no
Arlene Philips: (inaudible) has a rap. How's your roller skating?
MS: My roller skating is surprisingly good.
ALW: What role?
AP: Well, we have to have a poppa instead of a mama.
AJ: Excellent. We've facilitated on live TV

I’ve had a hard time keeping up between all of the content and posting the final full chapter of The Space Between. Now I just want to stare at THESE.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are the Episode 2 promo photos. This may have broken me. This is the episode where “Ace (Alex Saxon) senses that Nancy (Kennedy McMann) is holding back and presses her to give him more information about the curse.” IN HIS BEDROOM SITTING ON HIS BED.
Pretty sure it’s Ace’s bedroom - that is the “Ace” poster from the finale on the wall, and the sage green walls, and lighting, match his apt. as well. As someone who has written a few scenes in this room, it’s exciting to see it 😂.
Remember this is also the episode we saw in the M3gan trailer where Nancy has a (supernatural?) stomach bug, that Kennedy said had a Burning Bride vibe, the episode with the first cast photo, and with the adorable pic of Kennedy and Leah sitting on their respective characters’ cars. AND, the episode where Kennedy said “Big Poppa” was her theme song, and and where she is very silly in the final scene in the season trailer (“That is how you CONDUCT an investigation”). I believe she has some kind of whammy that makes her overly confident - hence the Big Poppa vibe and the cocky attitude in the trailer - where I believe she’s talking to Ace.
I’m out of my mind for episode 1, but episode 2 might do me in (I can’t even TALK about episode 3!).
We’ll also get Bess making dinner for Addy’s parents, Nick on a brunch date (!), and George in aspiring lawyer mode. CANNOT WAIT!

This might be a long one. Assuming that William doesn't die, and Chloe doesn't end up quadriplegic, how does he handle her introducing different people (i.e. Max, Kate, Rachel, Steph, Alex and/or Victoria) as her girlfriend(s)? Obviously he's going to at least be accepting, hence I'm largely wondering how the relationship between him and each possible girlfriend might play out.
Max is by far the easiest, assuming she doesn't move. Max and Chloe aren't sure when they make the shift over from best friends to girlfriends, it's a subtle thing. Their late night games of truth or dare start including little practice kisses that stop being so little or about practice. Their hand holding starts getting more intense. Their cuddling up to watch a movie starts involving a lot more body contact. William watches all of it with a knowing smile and gentle encouragements as both girls come to him, freaked out about their shifting feelings for each other. He probably even brings up the topic of asking Max out on an official date, which freaks Chloe out because 'oh my god I'm crushing on Max, what if I mess this up???' That summer he takes both girls to pride with a 'free hugs from a dad' shirt. It's probably not even the first pride he's been too, I can see him being active helping the community back in his youth because he couldn't stand idly by during the AIDS crisis.
If Max leaves, it's more complicated, but he absolutely encourages Chloe to work up to telling Max her feelings and makes sure that they have plenty of visits together with lots of alone time to work it out.
Kate's an interesting one. Chloe's originally pretty dismissive of her, after all, she's got no use for religion while she's busy throwing herself into science. She's not necessarily an angry atheist type, but she's at the very least agnostic. But Kate's nice to her, she's on a scholarship like Chloe, and she's soft spoken, so all their interactions are positive even if they have nothing to talk about. That all changes when she sees Kate getting bullied. Chloe cannot abide a bully, so she stands up for this girl she barely knows. First she trades blows with her tongue, and then her fists. Chloe wins it, but she's got her fair share of bruises. When William arrives at the office to have a chit chat with Wells and take Chloe home for the day, he finds this mousey little girl sitting outside of the office, wailing about how it's all her fault. He gets the story from her first, and he couldn't be prouder of his daughter. He takes them both out for ice cream, and Kate spends the entire time fussing over Chloe's bruises, which has Chloe grinning like an idiot while blushing and fidgeting from the attention. He encourages Chloe to invite this sweet girl over, but it's not really needed. It's how impossible to miss how blushy they get around each other, and he pretty immediately tells Kate that no matter what, she's got a safe place in their home. Unlike with Max, Chloe's more sure of her sexuality this time around, maybe she's already been to her first pride with her proud poppa, but that cross around Kate's neck still freaks her out a bit, until Kate makes the first move. Maybe it's a stolen kiss behind the bleachers, or she wins a bet over a video game and claims her prize of Chloe's lips, but either way it blindsides Chloe and they fall hard. William tries to help them keep things secret and safe, but Kate's parents eventually learn and when all hell breaks loose, he keeps his word. (Shit, this is a fun premise, I might write this)
William adores Steph from the moment Chloe tells him about her, and he digs out his old DM screen and source books. Steph is amazed that she gets to play such an old edition, and not only that, she doesn't have to run the campaign! It's kind of an open secret between all of them what's going on between them, even if Chloe keeps tripping over herself, and Steph is just as much of a disaster. Instead their player characters start getting romantic toward each other, and William goes out of his way to give them all the setup they could ever want to make it happen. It's not a surprise when Chloe finally tells him that they're dating, but it's still a celebration. He ends up taking Chloe and Steph to pride with Steph's uncle, and they have a gay old time.
Rachel is more difficult. Without Chloe's reputation for skipping class and getting fucked up, she's not going to really take note of her like she did in canon. Sure, Chloe's pretty, clever, and fun, but she's not exactly plugged into the Blackwell social scene or on Rachel's radar. Maybe she pings Rachel's gaydar while she's looking to experiment. Maybe Rachel reaches out for a little extra help with chemistry homework. Or maybe some silly shenanigans happen that put Chloe and Rachel stuck in close proximity, perhaps spin the bottle leading to seven minutes in heaven? However it happens, William is wary of Rachel. He knows her type, and he sees how she's wrapping Chloe around her finger, but he also understands that Chloe needs to make her own choices and mistakes. He's also emotionally available to Rachel in a way that she's not expecting or used to, hoping that he can help her grow as a person and stop trying to wear a mask all the time. Either way he's there for Chloe every step of the way, regardless if it works out or not, and with Chloe having a more solid emotional footing, maybe it goes very differently for both of them.
Victoria is... well he's he's definitely surprised when he walks in on Chloe half dressed and furiously making out with a girl that she's repeatedly complained about at great volume for being a bully. After stammered excuses, a lot of blushing and a generous helping of swearing, both girls get dressed again and William gets to talking with them. He explains that he's not mad, but he's definitely confused, and maybe a little disappointed in Chloe for going down this route, even if he understands it a little bit. Neither girl has a great answer for how this happened at all, a tutoring session that escalated maybe? What really surprises Victoria is that he doesn't kick her out, instead not only does William take the time to ask, he actually listens. She can't believe it at first, but even a few hours with him has her realizing how alike father and daughter are. Eventually Victoria's own dorkiness starts coming out and she starts getting into long debates with Chloe over the merits of this or that anime, they cuddle up and watch classic movies together, she writes poems about Chloe, which is when William starts to really get it. The true game changer is when Victoria's having a really tough time, and not really knowing what to do, she goes to William about it, and he actually listens to her. That gets her bawling, and before long she's blubbering out all the weight of the expectations her parents have heaped onto her slim shoulders. William helps her through that in ways not therapist ever could, and Victoria starts finding the emotional strength to be her own person again, instead of the perfect bitchy princess her parents have been trying to shape her into.
Dana is just fun. He gives Chloe a high five for getting a date with a cheerleader, and her love of Halloween and classic movies means she fits right in with the Prices to the point Joyce rolls her eyes and makes a comment about 'there's three of you now'. William absolutely digs out photos of Chloe's old costumes to show Dana, much to Chloe's embarrassment, but her protests die away as Dana squeals about how cute she was. They end up doing an ensemble costume for every Halloween until Chloe and Dana are off at college.
Alex is going to be something that happens later in life. Chloe's been off on her own for a while, been through college, maybe even has her masters. Chloe stays in touch with her dad pretty regularly, at least weekly phone/video calls and visits for the holidays and she comes to him for advice on a lot of topics. He first hears about Alex on one of these calls, maybe she's a mysterious stranger that Chloe is helping out, or a traveling musician that she's hit it off with. Then come the pictures, and oh wow she's cute! Chloe's all blushes and excited babbling about her, how funny and smart she is, and links to her soundcloud while raving about her music. Chloe tries to coax Alex onto a call, but she's really shy about meeting anyone when she can't see their aura. Finally the holidays arrive, and he meets Alex, who is a giant bundle of nerves in a denim jacket. William is his usual gentle, gregarious self and Alex wonders how she was ever surprised that William is as genuine as his daughter. It doesn't take long for William to start becoming a father figure in her life, even if the -in-law bit might take a long while. That title is very much a formality as he takes her, and Gabe, under his wing, being every bit the father that John failed to be. She honestly has a few good, long cries over it. He also spoils the shit out of Ethan and gets stoned with Char, so that's fun.
If Chloe ever brings Cassidy home, he makes her take a fucking shower and then pulls out his own guitar.

"I'll take 'Tradition' for 300, Alex." "This individual, day and night, must scramble for a living, feed his wife and children, and say his daily prayers. This individual also has the right, as master of the house, to have the final word at home."
"Who is the Poppa?"
"That is correct!"

You all owe all of my nonsense to @myheartalivewrites, who was kind enough to tag me!
Rules: list the first line(s) of your last 10 posted fics and see if there’s a pattern!
I trust you will forgive the poor penmanship of this letter - and that you will privately remark that it is always poor so why should this be any different? - as my hands are trembling. (October 1781, Setauket)
“Aww, Poppa,” Delia smiles as she walks into the house and sees Henry with a photo album open on the coffee table.  “Don’t do this to yourself.” (Forever Now)
The first time Henry meets with Nora Holleran, he’s got his sister with him.  Using her is the most logical way to get into a dress shop without looking suspicious. (January - March 1779, New York City & Setauket)
Alex isn’t entirely sure what made him want to hold their election night gathering - Pez keeps calling it a party but Alex won’t count his chickens before all the votes are tallied so he absolutely will not call it that - at their house but here they are.  (Little Moments)
Good morning, Mr. Fox.  I was wondering if your company is taking on new clients.  I’ve just adopted a 2 year old pitbull and we’re both in desperate need of some guidance.  (Sit. Down. Please Stay.)
Henry knows he shouldn’t be as nervous as he is but he can’t help himself.  (Seven Candles for Delia Claremont-Diaz)
After what must be the most excruciatingly long day in Henry’s life, he’s finally ready to leave his office in the shelter. (What Forever Looks Like)
“Hi, excuse me.  Excuse me!” Alex calls after a dark haired woman as she speeds down the sidewalk.  “Ma’am!  I just – I just need a second of your –”  She turns the corner and Alex deflates.  “- time.” (Fate or Something Like It)
Look, Alex likes to think of himself as a pretty level-headed guy. (Level-Headed and Even-Keeled)
Alex laughs outright when Henry opens his front door.  “Baby,” he snorts and has to put a hand out when Henry frowns and makes to shut the door in his face.  “Hen, oh my god.” (Come Go With Me)
I'm not entirely sure there's any kind of pattern. Seems like I mostly start on exposition instead of dialogue - at least in the last few stories. I'm just kinda shocked I wrote more than just Culper Ring in the last few installments.
Tagging @orchidscript @cheesecurdsgravyandfries @cha-melodius @mudbloodpotter05 @inexplicablymine @indomitable-love and literally anyone who wants to do this :)

It's All in the Execution
Hello again!
Today is the Trans Day of Remembrance. It caps off Trans Awareness Week. It's a somber occasion. And, content warning for gun violence, hate crimes, injury, and death, this year it is particularly somber as we're reeling from the tragedy at Club Q. It is doubtless that these two incidents are connected. And so today we remember Daniel Aston, as well as the others who were killed. We remember the countless other trans lives that've been ended prematurely. This is going out awfully late into the evening, but please take some time to mourn and grieve and hope for peace and justice for those we've lost.
In terms of practical action, tell a trans person you love them. Maybe send them some money. You can also donate to the Colorado Healing Fund. Or Trans Lifeline. Or the Transgender Law Center. Share this map of informed consent HRT facilities. Follow up with your representatives on any anti-trans legislation in your area. Advocate for your communities and be willing to protect the people in them, by force if necessary.
To get the other serious matters out of the way up top, there are a few comics creators who could really use your help right now. My friend Jeffrey Veregge was diagnosed with Lupus last year and is still hospitalized and his family needs assistance. Tess Fowler and Chris Gutierrez are currently dealing with their own medical emergency. And those are just the ones directly on my radar.
And, finally, our attention turns to Owasso, Oklahoma, where a public school library did one of the dumbest things I can remember hearing about in recent memory: at one parent's complaint about one book, Blankets by Craig Thompson, the school pulled ALL the graphic novels from the shelves for two months and are planning on returning them and adding new ones, but only after every single book is examined page-by-page by an adult who can flag any possibility of sexual or other offensive material. I can only hope that Tim Reiland's daughter grows up to be a more thoughtful individual than he is and that the people in charge of this library are reminded of their duty to present challenging material.
With that all said, I'd also still like to talk a bit about the execution of thematic goals in your work, but if you're too drained, I get it. You can come back later.
This year, Becca and I have been seeing a lot of horror movies. In college, I started getting more into horror and now it's probably the genre most likely to get me into a theater. So far, the two best horror movies we've seen this year are neck-in-neck: Pearl and Barbarian (with X, the other movie in Ti West and Mia Goth's trilogy landing as a solid 3rd, and TBH, we still haven't seen Nope though that's on the agenda for the coming week). I could and will gush about Pearl and X at some point soon. I'll also throw in a good word for House of the Devil, which I feel is a very closely related movie, also by Ti West. Sorry, getting distracted already! Anyway, the point is that A LOT of the movies we've seen this year have been thematically very similar, including those two. But the other three perfectly illustrate a sort of Goldilocks scale of execution of an idea.
The Poppa Bear of the group is Men. I know this movie's very divisive. Some people quite like it for reasons I can't explain. Like Poppa Bear's soup which was too hot or his bed which was too hard, Men was an unpleasant experience. The premise is Alex Garland read a couple articles about feminism and decided he should make a movie about how scary men are to women, forgetting that he already made that movie, Ex Machina. A traumatized woman working through a violent incident in her life goes out to a small English town and all the men in town are portrayed by one actor (an actually impressive feat, but not so much so as to outweigh the movie's flaws) and she thinks she's going crazy because they're all one guy and then the last third gets supernatural, but more importantly, super stupid. "Men are scary" is a really simple theme to build a story on and a worthy one because they are (see above). But one of the things that makes men scary is that they are capable of so much in the real world. That's what Men forgets. Sure, it recognizes that men abuse women physically and emotionally, particularly through gaslighting, but one of it's biggest failings is that as the story continues, the horror becomes removed from that reality. Is it gaslighting if all the men look the same because they're actually played by one guy and also are after you personally? What's the deal with the big "horror set piece" of the story being all the men who are the same guy birthing each other out of the mouth and other assorted made-up holes? It's clearly chosen because there're historically strong connections of womanhood and childbearing (reinforced by the ultimate arrival of the pregnant friend), but uhh... other than her friend being pregnant, it has no bearing on the main character's lived experience. It's just seeing a man do a "womanly" thing like giving birth that's "scary". And that's not scary, nor is it particularly smart commentary because it doesn't actually have anything to do with why men are scary. Anyway, do yourself a favor and don't watch Men. It's the pits. You can watch Ex Machina instead. Or maybe you could watch...
The Momma Bear of the group is Don't Worry Darling. Another divisive movie. This one's debatably a "horror", it's more psychological thriller, but I think those're inter-related enough to count. Like Momma Bear's bed, it's not firm enough. The premise is Harry Styles and Florence Pugh live an idyllic 1950s-esque planned community, organized by the mysterious Chris Pine. While Harry, Chris, and the other men go off every day to work on a mysterious project, the women are restricted to the community and to lives as housewives. But all is not what it seems... Spoilers: The men? Slightly scary. Unlike Men (BTW, hate that as a title because it makes talking about other men in the same analysis so hard), rather than turning the systemic oppression of women into a tête-à-tête between one woman and one many-man, it actually explores things on the levels of real communities and the power dynamics that men have both historically exercised and that many men seem to still fantasize about. Genuinely, the highest praise I can give this movie is that the female-gazed horror is a male-power fantasy. It indulges in the reasons why men act the way they do and in doing so actually gives it a reason to be scary. In terms of it not being firm enough, it's a bit unevenly paced and toned, so the stakes don't really feel material for most of the movie--there's too much mystery about what's going on that even when the audience knows something is wrong, they don't feel that the danger is imminent. It's a solid 6.5 or 7 out of 10, but again, you'd probably be better off watching the director's other movie, Booksmart. Or, you could watch...
Barbarian is a movie you should go into with very little knowledge. The Baby Bear of the group all you need to know is that it is just right. Nah, but like, if you usually check content warnings before horror movies, do that, otherwise, the only description you're getting from me is a woman of color shows up at her AirB&B only to find that it's already occupied by a man claiming he rented it who invites her in to sort things out and from there things happen. And, hey, that premise--already more realistically scary than either of the other two because that's shit that could actually happen. It is a complex movie that manages to actually have something to say--and was written and directed by one of the Whitest Kids U' Know (which I just found out, the twists keep coming with this one!). But, suffice to say, by the end of the movie, you'll get that men are scary and why and have that layered with so much more. It's a masterpiece of filmmaking and of using your story--the location, the cast, the pacing, the plot elements--to tell a cohesive story that not only covers the thematic message you want to convey, but embodies it and grows into something more as it continues.
This is going awfully long again, so let me conclude with two last things.
1. The live reenactment of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip by Alec Robbins, Grace Freud, and friends was AMAZING. Some of the funniest comedy I've ever had the pleasure of seeing live. If the TV show had been half as good as this one-off reenactment, I actually think it would've lasted more than a season. I don't know that anyone will ever be able to see it if you weren't there, but it was magical!
2. Becca's got their last artist's alley of the year on Tuesday. It's NiteNite Night with Biz Baz Club and New Motion Brewery. There'll be artists selling cool stuff just in time for the holidays and karaoke! Becca's going to have some new merch debuting! It'll be a good time! I'll be there too, but only to help Becca. More info in the image! Hope to see you there!

Pic of the Week #2: As promised with the other post this week, here's a not great picture I took of Tiansheng and I cuddled on the couch when Becca was out of town earlier in the week. He's cute!

When Rob Zombie’s “House of 1000 Corpses” slashed its way into theaters 20 years ago, 1970s-style horror – and camp – returned with bone-snapping, scream-inducing vengeance. Zombie’s directorial debut, this first film of a trilogy introduces the Firefly family, backwoods sadists who plunge two young couples into a nightmare world of torture, satanic ritual, and cannibalism. With a killer cast including horror legends Sheri Moon Zombie, Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, and Karen Black, “House of 1000 Corpses” is both a homage to a golden era and a scary good time from an innovative, unrivaled shock-master.

So no trailer this week with two and a half weeks to go, le sigh. We did see ads from local stations (using old promo photos), and we got what appears to be the Nancy Drew 4.01 title and description. Read on for that and a bunch more show and cast bits from the past week.
“The Dilemma of the Lover’s Curse.” They’re hitting the curse head on, which I like. Two different sites posted the title along with an episode description that came right from the season 4 description we got back in January.
Tumblr media
Now that we’re so close, the reality of Nancy and Ace having potential love interests is sinking in. We know that Nancy will not risk Ace’s life as long as there’s no solution to the curse. I’m still hopeful for lots of Nace scenes, with plenty of delicious angst. Curious how this squares with Kennedy’s discussion of Nancy and Ace’s emotional openness with each other - I still expect Ace to figure out the curse quickly.
I’m also super hyped about the sins of the town’s past, the multiple supernatural mysteries, and the stories for the entire crew. May 31 is so close I can taste it.
Scott Wolf gave us some insight into S4’s resolution for our beloved characters in a new interview - it was a big deal for them to know it was the final season ahead of time, the season will cover the things that are most important to us, but “not every resolution is going to be satisfying for everyone.”
Glad to hear they planned real resolutions for everyone, terrified about them not all being satisfying. I’m absolutely expecting Nace endgame, but I want good things for all of our family. They’re keeping us on our toes…
We saw lots of our cast this week - Kennedy made a surprise appearance in an Arizona bookstore with her author parents (note this pic is with her mom and the bookseller, not McDad), Maddison was in Paris and England with her Versailles cast and her family, and Riley is appearing in another episode of Station 19 this week.

Alex has been on vacay in Italy and France (Hannah captioned the first photo “Alex doesn’t like PDA. So I fixed it” ☠️). Alex’s new show High Desert premieres this week on Apple TV. There’s a new in depth, spoilery review at AV Club. According to the article (spoiler alert), Peggy (Patricia Arquette) is “no longer speaking to her grown son.” We won’t see Alex until episode 6 - could he play Peggy’s son?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Leah’s show Matlock was picked up for the fall (watch the trailer), and she’s celebrating in Mexico with her bf.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Meanwhile Queen Charlotte is another huge hit with fantastic exposure for Tunji - check out the in depth Tatler profile on our favorite Scotsman, where he draws an interesting parallel between Charlotte & George’s and Harry & Meghan’s experiences - and admits he’s never watched Bridgerton.
Tumblr media
In more show news, the Nancy Drew writers’ request for fan input has generated tons of great questions but only chaos from the writers so far - no real answers yet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Speaking of chaos, Kennedy stepped into the fray to drop four songs from her S4 playlist. “The Winner Takes it All” (no more ace to play), “all my ghosts” (all my ghosts are with me), and “Thinking of You” (cause when I’m with him I am thinking of you) are killing me, the pain. “Big Poppa” has me thinking about Nancy under some kind of spell a la Burning Bride (as she described Episode 2) hitting on everyone in sight - “mackin’ hoes” while “my crew’s behind me.” Now in honor of “Big Poppa”, what if it’s Ryan!?
Finally, two more cast members were added to IMDB - Fred the car towing guy is back for 3 episodes (3, 5, and 13), and there’s a new security guard in Episode 9.
You get a gold star if you made it to the end. Another week, another wish for a trailer and new photos. I’m busy wrapping up The Space Between - expect the thrilling (I hope) conclusion before the season premiere. Also planning a fluffy epilogue, I at least can promise satisfying conclusions for everyone!

In lieu of the soon to be anniversary of me getting serious with writing, here is one of my first full fanfics (dated March 10th, 2022)
Context: Our school production of Alice in Wonderland that fall had original characters that soon became my own as I extended the story (and wrote way too many fics)
Spots is about 6 here, they are the adopted child of Black and Brown (also the Blue Borogove is mentioned here before his name was updated)
This is written as a script because that was the only way I could write back then, also it has small suggestive connotations. Enjoy :)
Bl: "SPOTS, BREAKFAST!!"
S: *Struggling to put on their other sock, bandana backwards, and only one overall strap on, running to the kitchen*
Bl: "Woahwoahwoah, slow down gingerbread bunny, why're you in such a ru-"
S: *Grabs Brown's leg*
Br: "*Oomph*" *He stumbles a back a little*
S: "THANK YOU FOR BREAKFAS, POPPA!!!"
Br: "You're.. welcome.. Spot. Now can you let go of my leg? 'Else your ears will be covered in egg."
S + Bl: "Rhyme dime!"
Br: "Alright, alright, I'll put a dime in the jar, *after* breakfast. Now go sit down and let your father fix your clothes."
S: *Nods, releases Brown, and shuffles over to where Black is sitting at the table*
Bl: "Alright kit, up we go!" *He picks up Spots and sits them on the table next to the soon-to-be-filled plates and proceeds to fix Spots' clothes*
Br: "Off! Off of the table! Unless we're eating the kit for breakfast, there shall be no bunnies on my table!"
S: *Giggles and jumps off the table, letting Black fix their clothes on the floor*
Br: "Food's ready!"
S: "Yayyy!!!" *Runs away from Black's grasp to their chair, while their bandana gets pulled off*
Bl: *sigh* "I'll fix it later, kit."
Br: "Who's ready for SSSCRAMbled Egg Surprise?"
S: "Me, me, me!!"
Br: "Then here you go, kit." *Dishes out the eggs to Spots' plate, then Black's, then his own*
Bl: "Thank you, hun." *Kisses Brown on the cheek* "It looks amazing."
S: "Thanks, Poppa!"
Br: "Alright you two, just eat your food." *He giggles slightly and sits down*
*Everyone starts eating*
Br: "So, what are my favorite rabbits up to today?"
Bl: "I gotta help White draft some escape routes for the castle, like for if there was a fire. Poor kit is too scared someone will burn a cake *before* he finishes."
Br: "Wow, how noble of you to help your brother." /s
Bl: "I can't be fighting beasts all the time, besides, a little security never hurt nobunny."
Br: "True, true. And what's on the docket for you today, Spots?"
S: "Blue asked me do go mome rath hunning!"
Br: "Now *that* is an adventure! You should learn from them, Black."
Bl: *Not paying attention* "What?"
S + Br: *Laughter*
Br: "Nothing, hun."
Bl: "Hmph, keep your secrets then."
S: "Hey, Poppa?"
Br: "Ya, kit?"
S: "Who Awah?"
Bl: "Spot, you gotta swallow your food, kit."
S: *swallows* "Who's Alex?"
Br: "Oh um.." *catches a side glance from Black* "Where'd you hear that, kit?"
S: "From you!"
Br: "Fro-from me!? Nonono, couldn'tve been me." *Looks to Black for support*
Bl: "Shrugs and pours more coffee in his cup*
S: "Uh huh! I woke up super lae las nigh, and I heard you yelling 'Alex! Alex!'"
Bl: *Spits out his coffee* "O-oh! Well that's interesting! Care to explain, *hun*?"
Br: "Oh! Yyyup I remember that now. Sorry I woke you, kit. I was just yelling at Dad because he was... stealing all of the blanket!"
Bl: *mouths "good save"*
S: "Oh! Ok!"
Br: *phew*
S: "One more question."
Br: "Ya, kit?"
S: "Why did you call Dad 'Alex'?"
Bl: "I can take this one, Brown."
Br: "Thanks." *He picks up their plates and kisses Black on the cheek, then walks to the kitchen to wash up*
Bl: "Ok, kit. You know how you call me Dad?"
S: "Uh huh?"
Bl: "And how sometimes you're Poppa calls me Black?"
S: "Hehe, ya. Jus like your fur!"
Bl: "That's right, kit. Well, I also go by Alex. It's like my.. adult name."
S: "Wow! Thah's so cool!"
Bl: "Uh huh, Sir Alexander Black Rabbit!" *He strikes a pose*
Br: *coming back from the kitchen* "The adorkable knight!"
Bl: "Hey!"
Br: "Just telling it how it is, hun."
Bl: "Is that all, Spot?" *He ruffles their hair and kisses their forehead* "Come on, we gotta get our boots on, or we'll both be running 'late, late, late for an important date!'"
S + Br: "Rhyme dime!"
Bl: "I was quoting my brother! You two are no fun!" /lh
S: "Dad?"
Bl: "Ya, Spot?"
S: "Does Poppa have an adul name?"
Bl: "Hahaa, well, do you, hunnybun?"
Br: "As a matter of fact, I do. It's Arthur. Are all your questions answered now, kit? You two gotta get moving or you'll actually be late."
S: "Thah's all the questions I had, Poppa!"
Br: "Alright, now let your father help you get your boots on while I finish cleaning up."
S: "Ok, Poppa!"
