Certainly Charlemont makes you feel very nice about the warmth in garden compositions. The combination of shadow and sunlight gives the detail that the work was made in the evening hours. Whichever side is looked at, orange, green, brown and red colors come to the fore in the composition where there are flowers planted in pots or in the ground. The work, which was created with short brush marks and strokes, reminded me of "A Garden Idyll".

The first thing that caught my eye was the brown rocks, and because it was in the foreground, the whole focus was gathered there, how enormous it was that the large and small pieces of rock were processed to the finest detail. I don't have much guess about the jaundice in the back, maybe there is a whole mountain and it is drawn in the hours when the sun sets. as if an open door had been left for the viewer to speculate about the work. Then there are tall trees lying in the sky and touching the branches of each other, but what I like most is the vividness of the colors he uses to suit the whole very well. In this work, short semicircular brush strokes are visible, especially in sky, cloud and tree details. The red cloud that gives the work its name and the use of red color in many places give a different air because they provide color contrast. The fenced green area was presented to the viewer only by the roof and the house with a window visible. It was probably built during the hours when the sun rises or sets, and the fact that no one is around gives me that feeling.
