After Sans finds out Floweys true identity. He refers to Flowey as Asriel, but only when they are alone. Chara also refers to Flowey as Asriel. She never really knew him from any other name but Asriel. Tho, these two are the only ones who do this. Along with that nickname Azzy.

Sans, Asriel/Flowey, and Chara was best friends growing up. Until Asriel and Chara died. Sans depression came from his best friends death, until he met a flower that gave off the same energy as his fallen friend, Asriel. Flowey does not remember Sans very much. But does know Sans was a part of his former life as Asriel. After a few resets cause by Flowey, Sans puts two and two together and figures out that the demonic flower was once his life long friend Asriel. It took some persistence, but with Sans help, Flowey had slowly regained most of his memories as Asriel. Ashamed of what he had done, Flowey decided to give up his ability to reset, even if it cost him the chance to be Asriel again. However, then a child fell into the underground. Flowey had put on a act of being evil, to see the true intentions of the small child. However, Flowey felt the energy that Chara, once had. Flowey went to Sans to tell him of it. Sans had a hard time believing that Chara could be alive or still around, but since Flowey was, he decided to have a look. When Sans met the child, he too felt Chara's presences. Near the end of the run, Flowey and sans both confronted Frisk, only to find out that the child, was not their lost friend. But their lost friend was there, as a ghost watching over the child. Chara made herself known, surprising Flowey, Sans, and even Frisk. Chara, without a soul, had a hard time keeping her form but she appeared for them. Sans and Flowey were both over joyed to see her. Frisk was just confused but still moved by the happiness the three friends had to see each other. Chara, sadly, couldn't keep her form for long. However she was still able to communicate with them. It looked like they would get their happy ending. No. Frisk had the ability to reset. And even tho they were kind at first, they became more violate, due to curiosity. Chara, Flowey and sans knew they had to work together to stop Frisk. So each reset, they tried everything they could to take away her reset. Though, taking away her ability could end with a happy ending or a bad one. They hope to convince them to take it away during a good run. But if it's during a genocide run.... Chara, would plead with her though Frisks run. Flowey would try to show them that just because they could be peaceful. Didn't mean it had to be boring and show them the excitement of a happy run. Sans would reason with them. Tell them that their way would only end with pain and struggle. At the end of each genocide ride, Chara, Flowey and Sans would fight together, to defeat Frisk. And when one would die, it would anger the other. They would never give up. Not as long as they now had each other once again. They were fighting for each other. And for their friends in the underground. Sans: once depressed till he reconnected with Flowey. He got even better when Chara came back. However his depression comes back once Frisk starts to reset and kill everyone, even his dear brother papyrus. Flowey/Asriel: after dying and losing most of his memories, Flowey Curious about his past, sets out to befriend others, in hopes of remembering his past. After every failed attempt he would reset and begin again. But when he can't, he kills out of desperation and anger. But when he FINALLY regains his memories, he is horrified and ashamed of his evil deeds. So much so that he takes away his ability to reset, fearing if he had it, he'd resort to his old ways. However now with a child resetting, he regrets taking away his ability, for he could have used it to defeat Frisk. Now he will work as hard as he can to stop the resets. Chara: she had been a ghost, trapped in the ruins, forever stuck. Until Frisk falls into the underground. Somehow, the other child's determination was able to freed her from being immobile. Finally able to move, she came face to face with her step brother and best friend. Chara was extremely happy to be reunited with them. But now, with Frisk killing everyone and resetting, Chara will do anything to protect her brother and friend. Papyrus: He was born a year after Chara and Asriels death, so he wouldn't have remembered them anyways. He is happy that Flowey and sans seems to get along so well. He is still striving to be a royal guard, but as a trainer. (Flowey had talked to him and told him the risks of being in the royal guard and that Papyrus can still make a difference as something else in the royal guard that wouldnt have Papyrus hurting anyone. Frisk: evil bitch Someone with reset ability has the ability to take away their reset abilities. It's their choose to have it or not. If you want a happy ending: In the last reset, they were fighting, when Frisk killed Sans and Flowey. Chara felt unshakeable rage. She charged at Frisk, with determination surging through her, slammed into Frisk. Now what happened next is all thanks to Chara being a ghost, she pushed Frisks spirit out of the body, taking hold of the body. Seizing the chance, Chara resetted. However things was now different, Chara was alive. She had somehow switched places with Frisk. Being human once more, Chara raced to find her friends.

During their childhood, Chara, Flowey, and Sans would spend their days telling puns. Chara would slowly get annoyed but wouldn't say anything cause her boys were happy. Constantly rolling her eyes at the pun competition Asriel and Sans would start.
