I’ve been meaning to post about my WIP for the longest but I’m always busy writing it and world building. I’ve been working on world building alot so get ready to be thrown into this lol

1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc)?

His backstory. When I first started, I always had it to where Je’Daerhys (pronounced Je-Dare-Riss) would be the last of his kind. Funny thing is, after leaving and coming back to it years later with a clearer vision I changed it around to where he’s a unique breed of his kind.

2. Did you create them with any other characters/ OC’s from their universe in mind?

No. it was just him.

3. How did you choose their name?

Well when I first started, his name was Jedidiah but after some time world building his race and culture I felt it didn’t fit and then his name sorta came outta nowhere.

4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?

He knows alot about the people on different planets he goes to due to information given to him by a cleric. Fun Fact: A cleric, on his homeworld, goes to different planets and studies the various cultures and species of humans and terrestrials.

5. Is there any significance behind their hair colour?

No. Its just long and black.

6. Is there any significance behind their eye colour?

When he uses his powers/ abilities etc, his eyes glow the color of the energy he gives off.

7. Is there any significance behind their height?

He’s actually the average height for his species. They range anywhere from 6-7ft

8. What, if anything, do you relate to within their character/ story?

His tenacity, ambition and cunningness. Nothing will stand in his way no matter what. And he will get to his goal by any means necessary.

9. Are they based off you, in some way?

Yea... especially his story arc.

10. Did you know what the OC’s sexuality would be at the time of their creation?

Yea, but fleshly desires are a distraction, especially to a warrior; so it is said by the elders of his race.

11. What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art, writing, drawing, edits, etc)?

I’d have to say writing how he is towards other people. He’s cold to people but its the truth he speaks. He isn’t bragging even though it will be taken that way. His people are brash and bold. They find that as a good thing since they are a warrior like race.

12. How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?

Oh preeety far.

13. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?

He doesn’t respond the way you would/ he’s not an anti-hero

14. What is something about your OC that can make you laugh?

Hmm 🤔 don’t really know.

15. What is something about your OC that can make you cry?

The truth that he will come to realize.

16. Is there an elemet that you regret adding to your OC or their story?

No

17. What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?

Nothin recent about him but other characters? Alot of stuff lol

18. What is your favorite fact about your OC?

His power. I just love the concept of it and the weapon he forges out of the energy
