so here's a fun fact for the day: it still completely astounds me to this day that when I first sent a recording of me singing a draft of a musical I started conceptualizing when I was 13 to a really friendly mutual of mine on here back in 2019, she said it reminded her of motherfucking Chant from Hadestown. I haven't even heard of Hadestown back then so I've only realized just now how HIGH FUCKING PRAISE THAT IS WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK-

#so ummmmm i guess she'd be very surprised if she knew that ummmm #in a fit of frustration and burnout i deleted literally everything associated with the musical around last year sooooo ummmmm #i mean i'm not giving up on it just yet but um yea i kinda changed everything that i had worked on since i was 13 #to pursue a new angle #i mean i'm not actively writing it atm but i like the current version i have in my head atm i think it's actually not bad #but um yeaaaa im impulsive #also context: 13 year old me wanted to make an original musical thingy to replace the kiddy christmas musicals found on yt #that my church would hold a production of every december #13 year old me wanted a christmas musical geared towards older audiences and um not that bad of an idea buuutt #considering that i am not that devout anymore a LOT of things got changed so yea #i stopped making it but i would like to go back to it someday preferably when I've finally found my peace with religion stuffs #anyways thats the ramble for the day #personal shit
