Ok this one was a long time coming. I hired and dismissed these pawns way too many times because I got René plagued, and then there were some nasty accidents...it was a whole thing.
Anyway, I played with @thehappiestgolucky's Fe'gahl and @kuruna's Galapagos this time, but I think the dragonsplague might have some lingering effects on René because he was strangely grumpy, especially with Fe'gahl.
Tumblr media
So grumpy. (Don't worry, I made sure he was actually clean of plague before hiring anyone.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We journeyed in Battahl for a while because I was looking for golems. But guess what? There were none to be found! I even went to Agamen! Zilch! Nothing! So couldn't do Galapagos's quest. :c I escorted Lamond here and there instead.
On the way back from Battahl, poor Fe'gahl got tossed into the brine by a rattler. Then, when I went to get the uno reverse card achievement on the Medusa, Galapagos got got ;A; I rehired them both but damn what rotten luck.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fe'gahl looks awesome as an archer though. He and René, despite whatever weird rivalry they had going on, work exceptionally well together. I can't get enough of having multiple archers in my party! They're so much fun.
Tumblr media
Also I hope you don't mind me saying so but MAN Galapagos is so photogenic! Extremely high-tier aesthetics. (I recently got some QoL stuff like freecam! Can you tell?)
He's also fantastic at shredding undead, pinning enemies, and generally being an incredible front-liner. Nobody gets hurt with him around!
Tumblr media
But Keaton, pawns don't have money,,
Yeah, of course I bought them a round. What am I, heartless? Who could say no to those little faces?
Tumblr media
We zipped between Sacred Arbor and Bakbattahl for That One Quest (you know the one) and-- uh, Galapagos? What are you doing?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah I don't think these three get along the bestest... Calm + Calm + Simple apparently isn't a very harmonious combination.
I think Galapagos is less involved in this weird rivalry. He's just kind of...stuck in the middle a lot of the time, poor guy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This party is chaos and I think these pics encapsulate it best. Excellent in battle, very effective, no notes. But as soon as the battle ends, it looks like René and Fe'gahl just start fighting.
Tumblr media
Simple/Calm dynamic + same vocation rivalry...but to be fair, I think René snubbed Fe'gahl first. (I think he got too used to being the only pawn back when he had the plague - he gets real pouty whenever another pawn gets a high five now. ._. )
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At the end of the day, though, they get along okay enough to fall asleep together in a pawn pile, so I guess all's well that ends well?

ok so (explanations under the cut)
in order of worst to best we have-
F - satosai. get out of my face, satosai.
full disclosure though- i used to really like satosai, but then i grew as a person and part of that is realizing satosai is painful amounts of overrated and mid (im joking obviously, though i do truthfully dislike it, no shade to you if you do. plus i still look at ship content of it sometimes because it’s there in mass amounts and they’re cute sometimes). also some satosai fans are so annoyingggg (you know the ones) and will go after other saiki ships and be like “anyways satosai better” and i do genuinely think you’re annoying and should get off of my page if you do that.
E - kuboyasu x teruhashi. it goes in E tier for “Eh?” because i do not get it
i have nothing to say about them, to the point that it’s not even funny. this is like, a very sober crackship to me. im sure someone who does really like this ship could sell me on it but it hasn’t happened yet. i see this ship around sometimes and just get so confused. i do not see the chemistry
D - kubosai. even more confusing than the last one in some ways but i kind of see the charm of it.
again though, nothing much to say. they work aesthetically, like—the bones of a good ship are here, but there’s no meat to tear into. in their canon/close to canon versions i cannot see it at all (probably because i like other ships with both of them a lot more), but in a good fic or au i do very much indulge in the BAMF x BAMF content. yeah idk what else to say, they’re so low on here because i just do not think about them as a romantic pairing or seek it out. i don’t know why it’s so popular (unless there’s some solo chapter with them as a duo that ive never seen)
C - imuteru, hii x satou, and makoku (with one u). yeah, I know, C tier for “Contreversial Take” i suppose.
OK LET ME EXPLAIN OFFICER-
imuteru used to be higher up on the list, but then terusai took over my body and soul, and i just can’t really see them together anymore. whenever i think of imuteru i think of unrequited imuteru on imu’s end and that makes me sad :( for some reason this same effect didn’t happen with teruchiyo or mikoteru but that might be that those two have other ships with the characters aswell idk
satou x hii would be further up because i do really like them together and i think the whole luck balancing thing is super cute, i just don’t think about them enough to put them higher. yes, your boos are understandable, and your tomato throwing. someday i’ll decide to read a fic about them and it’ll probably become B tier idk
.. ok now you REALLY HAVE TO HEAR ME OUT. makoto x kusuo could be so funny. this is a true crackship, and one laced with the absolutely most fatal drug cocktail you’ve ever seen. in a world where makoto isn’t literally a walking incest joke and is just a protective and pretty idiot it slaps so hard. kokomi would hate it, kuusuke would hate it, his parents would be questioning how kusuo managed to bag a famous actor without mind control. it is utter chaos and so so much better for it. i think they should be more popular and it’s probably my worst saiki k take. still, putting them any higher is basically saiki k fandom sacrilege atp so.
B - nendou x saiko, mikosai (+mikoteru and teruchiyo which weren’t on the tierlist for some reason), kaisai, and yumekai. now we’re getting somewhere. i quite like all of these.
nendou x saiko is just very fun to me. idiot for idiot but it’s in the romcom rich guy who doesn’t know shit meets guy who doesn’t know shit either. silly x tries to be serious but can’t really pull it off. i think they can both mutually make each others lives better + their interactions in canon were great. i wish they were more popular
oh boy mikosai!! oh boy, mikosai… mikosai is the first sight of my polyship i like to call “psychicshipping” which is where i ship all of the PK psychickers together romantically as a weird kind of OT4. i have so much to say on mikosai and a lot of thoughts about them, and i do genuinely like them as a pairing a lot, BUT. it ranks lower than the other psychicships because the fandom put a bad taste in my mouth with it. often, i see a lot of people hating on terusai in favor of mikosai or saying that mikosai is somehow more valid and im like “?”. it often feels like mikosai is the het saiki ship for teruhashi haters, which SUCKS because i do see the vision. like, THIS:
Tumblr media
this is great, yk? they look good together and the dynamic is great, but the way the fandom treats and characterizes them is not even close to how they should be, at least to me it’s not. this image sums up my feelings on them pretty well:
Tumblr media
closing thoughts: i should be the only one allowed to ship mikosai because only i understand them NEXT
mikoteru + teruchiyo bonus round because i like them too and they deserve to be here: these ships are both great in my professional opinion, but their paragraphs get combined because i don’t have a lot of vested interest in them specifically despite really liking them. I think teruhashi’s problems could all be fixed if she had at least one girlfriend (preferably more) and that is my only thoughts really. i get very happy when i see people making ship content for either of these, please make more yuri content with teruhashi now thank you !!
kaisai!! this was the first saiki k ship i read a fic for and the first ship i enjoyed. it’s very nostalgic to me because of that. to me they give “greasy gamer who could be blown over by a ghost of wind boyfriend who likes getting himself into trouble x stoic but secretly sweet boyfriend who subtly protects him” which is a rare and overlooked dynamic i think, and something you can’t really get from kubokai. kubokai might still be better but that doesn’t mean kaidou doesn’t have two hands now does it? closing thoughts: i think they’re very cute and need more people to see that, romantically or platonically.
yumekai. i think they should’ve been canon in the end idc idc. i might like other ships with these two more but that does not mean i won’t acknowledge how much i like them. they are honestly one of the best het ships in the entire fandom and need more recognition!! they can be angsty mutual pinning. they can be toothrottingly fluffy. they can be so infuriatingly stupid (they are always stupid but shush). they can be the incarnation of young love. they can and should grow old together. the only reason they aren’t higher up is because, like i said before, i like other ships with either of them so much already so there’s not enough room in my heart for them 😞
A - mikosuka (plus aikechi and torikechi bonus rounds that will both be getting their own paragraphs this time), saikechi, torisai, kubokai, and nendou x hairo. OH YEAH BABYY! all of these are solid and the fandom hasn’t ruined them, in fact all of the stuff ive seen of them slaps. 10/10
mikosuka. please be more popular aaa!! the only reason it’s not is because of how much toritsuka got done dirty in canon for the “pervert character” trope- and how much the fandom just despises him. they’re hilarious in a “married couple who do nothing but fight all the time but everyone can tell they love each other anyways” way to me, not to mention how they’re also a part of psychicshipping. i do think they work better as part of a polycule with saiki to center them, but i saw a post about how aiura could’ve been mistaken and toritsuka might’ve actually been hinted as her soulmate and it’s been a majority of my thoughts since. i think they should get married after a long journey of selfdiscovery for them both where at the end of it they decide they both like life better with each other. i think they should stay in a “will they won’t they” like idiot love interests in a bad but popular tv show forever. i live laugh love mikosuka. i think they both deserve better (mostly aiura but toritsuka too in some ways). closing thoughts: brain running wild all the time 24/7 for these guys forever and ever.
aikechi. i hadn’t really thought about them before making contact with @/no-psi-nan’s posts about them but now my eyes are OPENED!! honestly before that i just saw them in the polypsychiccule as connected via their mutual love for saiki but not with each other directly, but now they are so much more than that to me. he’s the right amount of calm to nicely contrast her passionate fire in a way that the other two just aren’t. they are the pinacle of competent 4 competent while still being idiots in their own ways. aiura shows a picture of him to someone and says “this is my loser pissboy husband. i love him so much”
torikechi. i started liking them in a similar way that i started liking aikechi but the vibes with them are so very different than aikechi. compared to toritsuka, akechi is the cool one and that is crazy 2 me. really really dumb x only a little bit dumb but extremely unhinged in other ways. akechi can finally talk at someone who and be halfway listened to without annoying the other person because of toritsuka being used to ghosts randomly appearing to talk to him all the time and he is ecstatic. toritsuka is just happy to be here and also very confused tbh.
saikechi. what’s there not to like about saikechi tbh. a lot of canon backing and the childhood friends trope? peak. the potential that this ship has for angst and hurt/comfort is sososo good gahhh!! akechi being torn up about saiki leaving and saiki feeling guilty. saiki thinking that he’s done something horrible and not expecting forgiveness, but receiving it anyway :((( aaaaa!!! “you really shouldn’t forgive me. you should hate me” x “i already forgave you, and how could i ever hate you when i love you so much?”. like??? hello??? they make me cry. they make me so happy. they can help each other heal and become better. they could even make each other worse if you play your cards right (you’d be evil for it tho). closing thoughts: screaming crying shaking sobbing throwing up clawing the ground and punching my pillow because of how much i care about them
torisai. they are so funny lmao. also they complete the psychicshipping love square
Tumblr media
(^the psychicshipping love square. pink line between names means those two characters are dating, in love, married, etc.) so ofc i love them. as mentioned, i think they’re very funny (a common trait of a lot of the ships i like) and i think saiki could fix him (/j). not much to say since they are my head empty ship but yeah i like me some torisai
kubokai. do i even need to explain?? like torisai there’s not much i really feel i need to say about them but like. who doesn’t like kubokai? these two could not go an episode without doing something gay and we love them for that. not to mention the piles upon piles of content for them. closing thoughts: ofc i like kubokai, who doesn’t like kubokai?
nendou x hairo. HELL YEAH BABYY!! <- my reaction when i see a post about them. underrated as hell, just like how these two are as characters. they’re my sillies. the silliest gay couple ever. aso shuichi agrees trust me. also that chapter where they got mistaken for a couple was so fucking funny. it’s a shame like no one knows about it since it’s basically softcore in some parts so it didn’t get animated
S - terusai and aichiyo. MY FAVS! i eat breathe and live on this. i have a current pintrest board of these ships because i love them so much.
aichiyo. give me more aichiyo content, NOW. aichiyo is seriously my favorite aiura ship, and i look it up on this godforsaken website, and you know what i find? LIKE THREE POSTS. THREE. THATS BASICALLY NOTHINGGG. and there’s not really a lot of fics ive found about them either (if you have recommendations i want them. please). that episode where they interacted was so gay it outshined nearly everything else. like- they’re so in love!! *shakes you* listen to me damnit!! they love each other!! they’re just so adorable i don’t know what you want me to say. look at them LOOK AT THEMMMM
Tumblr media
(^made by @/wowneh_toon on twitter) closing thoughts: they make me feral
terusai (ending with this one instead of going in order because they are my number one favs out of any saiki k ship to have ever been concocted). AAAAAHH!!!!!! I LOVE THESE TWO SO MUCHH!!!! terusai is the kind of ship that grows on you the longer you’re a fan of the show, and now it’s my straight up comfort ship. anyone who disagrees is WRONG this whole fandom is WRONG and im not afraid to say that. if you don’t like them at least queerplatonically i think your takes are immature and stupid and im blocking you. terusai is perfect for a fluffy future au where teruhashi is the breadwinner and saiki is her housewife. infinity/10 best romance ever written no complaints. there’s so many terusai moments and chapters (remember when teruhashi was about to confess to him as kuriko and he was blushing???like??? how could anyone see that shit and still think he genuinely hates her… i know i sound so mean here but idc im so so tired of this fandom and the absolute DISRESPECT terusai goes through on a daily basis) thank you aso shuichi for gifting the world with teruhashi and terusai. closing thoughts: i love them and if you don’t i do NOT want to hear about it. id fight the whole fandom over them if i had to im not kidding.
phew that was a lot of writing. i hope you enjoyed my ramblings because all of these came from deep within my heart. also my opinions are all cosmic truths so if you disagree then i guess we’ll just have to both live with you being wrong 🤷

i love dmmd but i have seen you reblog about other nitro chiral games, how would you rate them? like which game do you like the most and so on, I've only played dmmd and i love it but seeing your posts makes me want to play those too!! love your blog
thank you anon thats so nice!!! ill try to keep this shortish bc otherwise i WILL infodump forever. and ill try not to spoil anything
dmmd is definitely my favorite! it is kind of an outlier compared to the other n+c games tho. it has a lot more comedic moments and the bright cyberpunk aesthetic is pretty different than the usual nitty gritty nitro chiral vibes. if you havent played reconnect you totally should! it adds so much to the characters (msg me if you cant find a copy online) and im forever trying to get my hands on the mizuki recode route lmao
togainu no chi and slow damage are about even for me. slow damage is the most recent one and might have the best story that n+c has ever written. its the only one without any supernatural elements but i think it makes up for it with compelling plot. its VERY dark but i think that makes getting to the end and figuring out all the mystery of the game v exciting. i DO wish the routes felt more...equal? like theres very clearly a true route and its very clearly the best of the bunch lmao. also give me an ikuina route pls hes sooo unwell <3
tnc is the first n+c game and its showing its age a little (i kinda love the early 2000s emo vibes tho). i think the premise for it is really intriguing! theres some killer world building and really fantastic bad ends (if you're into that sort of thing). the character personalities dont quite hit the same levels of intrigue as dmmd for me but theres not a single one i dislike. theres an extra character in the re-release tnc true blood too but ive never been able to get a copy
i'll be so honest, i did not like sweet pool at ALL when i first played it. theres some fantastic fanart out there thats actually swayed me back around to liking it more but like. i didnt know what i was getting into and i definitely should have read a summary first. i thought the thing about youji shitting meat was a running joke. i was not prepared for it to be like baby meat fetuses and cult omegaverse stuff. i like omegaverse but i wish i had been more prepared. its a low tier game for me tbh
i havent finished lamento yet! it took me years to get it working lmaooo im still in the common route. right now i'd probably put it between tnc/slow damage and sweet pool. its definitely better than sweet pool but its not hitting tnc/slow damage levels for me yet. i like the catboys tho catboys catboys catboys
per usual with n+c games id recommend checking out a warnings guide first just to be safe but let me know if you play any of them or which ones you like! i hope this helped!

Signalis
Tumblr media
Playtime: 8h50m Completed: October 27, 2023
My initial impression of Signalis was...mixed.
Its classic survival horror PS1 aesthetic was exquisite in its presentation. The UI and blocky character models were all spot on, retaining the chonkiness of CRT-era games of yore while making the whole package just more accessible and smoother to play. The lighting in particular is masterful, bringing bloodstained hallways and derelict spaceships to new horrifying light in ways original hardware couldn't.
Tumblr media
All the pieces of a survival horror classic were there, which is why the game frustrated me with its neverending references to other horror titles. The rugs in The Shining making a few appearances. Direct dialogue from Silent Hill 3 was injected into the game that served no purpose other than to be a reference. Some sound effects come right from Alien. The game can be anchored down by being a homage to everything that came before it.
I suppose this had a purpose. Like the mangled memories of the anime androids we were unearthing, these references are made to reflect the memories of the players back at them, intentionally invoking a feeling of "wait...have I been here before?" I'm sure there's no shortage of spilled ink about these references and the games overarching themes of cycles and memory, but I had very little interest in that dead-end commentary as I was playing the game.
Instead, when the game does attempt to make something new, it almost always succeeds. The radio-based puzzles were fresh and unnerving, and the handful of boss encounters are clearly well thought out. The presentation, which almost too often had an air of unearned pretentiousness, still manages to make the game stand out and resulted in a few chilling sequences.
When I think back on the game after it's distilled in my mind, those unique moments are what float to the top. Signalis is overall great, certainly one of the best survival horror games of the last few years. I just wished that it pulled more on its own unique style instead of being stuck in the past.
Also it made me lose it every time the game would cut from gorgeously rendered 3D scenes like this:
Tumblr media
To C-tier anime art like this:
Tumblr media
Just took me right out of the game...

thinking about your post on gushing over persona designs and also a reply youve left on one of my posts before... >:3c would you wanna talk about your thoughts on 3rd tier p5 personas because id love to hear em
I WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO SHARE MY THOUGHTS THANK YOU LEAF >:3c
OK so like disclaimer: I have yet to get to the third semester in Royal myself (I am playing through the game at a snail's pace 😭) so this is more like my thoughts based on a) just the designs in general, b) the designs in the context of the characters and c) what context I do have of the third semester (I know most of it but obvs it will be different once I actually play it). Oh and of course these are all my personal opinions so that's just something to keep in my mind!
For a more general overview of the personas, I actually think the design principle behind these personas slaps so hard. The way that each of them are in a sense, the real, true version of the original character of the initial designs is actually amazing and such a perfect final form for the thieves (considering their whole thing is ripping off their masks they wear in society blah blah blah). And also each of them try to incorporate a part of the character into the persona design (I'll explain that a bit in a minute) is really really cool. However, as with anything there are designs that nail these ideas and then there are some that for me miss it. Overall though, I think they are a solid set of personas and in general I would say I like them as a collective (not as much as the initial and they slightly lose out to the second tier designs but not by much).
Now for a more detailed persona by persona breakdown:
Raoul: Oh boy. Raoul. OK this is tricky for me. As like a design I think he slaps so hard. He looks sleek, cool and I love his head and wing design, I think they continue on from Arsene's monster gentleman look well and bring a more modern vibe to the persona (which a lot of these personas seem to do). And I think its a fitting design for Joker (purely from an aesthetic point of view, I find it hard to comment on it from the point of "does this fit Joker's personality" because that's really down to player interpretation). But hoo boy. There's two major issues with him for me.
Obvious one is that he's a DLC Persona. Instant loss for me. It adds no sentimental factor to him as a Persona (i.e. no awakening scene), all you do is just pay however much it is for him and then bam you have a cool Persona. That was a huge missed opportunity on Atlus' part. However, this brings me into my second issue, is that even if he did have an awakening scene there is no way it would ever top Satanael. Like Satanael is such an underrated persona for me, its a shame he's underutilized in the games too, because like wow that awakening scene. Is there any bigger fuck you to a god then summoning the devil through the power of friendship and humanity's hope to shoot him in the face. Unparalleled. But back to Raoul I just don't think he tops Satanael and he's stuck in DLC which lessens his impact/importance for me even though he's probably one of my favorites design wise.
Diego: I actually really really like him. I don't know why but I appreciate the swagger this Persona has. I think what Diego does best is really capture Morgana as a character. He's cocky, confident, considers himself as a bit of a ladies man (Diego looks like a playboy sorry) and successfully brings a modern twist to Zorro (and you know fits the whole this is Zorro unmasked because well it is literally Zorro unmasked). I can see why the design wouldn't appeal to some people because admittedly it is a bit boring but all in all I think its a solid look.
William: Yeah William slaps. He's a great design. I really enjoy how he's a more punk (might not be the right word but that's the best I can think of rn), cool, sleek version of Captain Kidd. I think he really fits Ryuji in the sense that it actually looks like something Ryuji would wear lol. It fits as well with the whole "Ryuji embracing his role as the delinquent" and again as is with a lot of these designs, brings a modern twist to it. This doesn't really mean much but I really like the sleek boat that he rides on. It just looks cool and honestly that's how I feel about William. He just looks really cool and very Ryuji.
Celestine: My Ann bias might come through here but oh boy do I adore this design. I think out of all of them, this is the one that executes the third tier design principles the best. First: it's a really cool upgrade for Carmen, and it really looks like it was made for Ann. Like the confidence the swagger and yes there is the whole sexy dominatrix thing going on with her but to me it feels like this is much better executed. The men at the end of her pigtails is to be quite honest a really neat design and a nice continuation of the elements we see in the previous personas. Which brings me to my next point: this is one of the two best examples of another aspect of the third tier personas: the fact that they are shown to be a fusion of sorts between the previous two personas. I don't think the ones I've mentioned so far execute this as well as Celestine and one other I'll get to later do. The combination of the Hecate color palette and Carmen's features plus the elements of Ann herself (Celestine is very fashion model to me) is done so well that I actually think it's probably the best designed of all of them.
Gorokichi: Oh Gorokichi. I have seen two opinions on this persona: people either love him or they hate him. I am very much in the later camp. I really hate this design NOT because of the actual design itself but more so the design in context. Look on its own I love how flamboyant it is. The pink fur coat, the ridiculous heels, that Groose looking hair style it's honestly really fun and different. It looks like something out of Zoolander. This all being said, in context... no. Look Yusuke is a flamboyant character. He's an artist he's passionate we know this. But this persona is far too gaudy for him. Gorokichi looks extremely materialistic and honestly way too tacky for Yusuke. Idk I'm sure other Yusuke fans feel differently but for me I just think it's probably the most out of character of all the personas in terms of how the designs relate to the character. There's something about it that just doesn't sit right with me 🤷‍♂️ I will say though I think it does an OK job at being a fusion of Susanoo (who is by FAR the better design btw) and Goemon. Again all of that is just my personal opinion but I think this is probably the weakest of the third tier personas.
Agnes: OK after writing like essays for the others I'll be honest I don't have much to say about Agnes. Like it looks cool af it's a batmobile ass looking motorbike and I think it fits Makoto I just... don't have much else to say. I don't really understand the color scheme for this one I'll be honest considering that up until now Makoto's personas have primarily been blue so this black and gold combo kinda comes outta nowhere, but it's fine. It's just missing something for me.
Al Azif: Star Destroyer. OK but in all seriousness I like the design. Again not much to say, the sleek technology + hacker vibes obviously fit Futaba very well and all in all I like it. Like Agnes it's just kinda there for me. I will say though it does feel like a Pokemon evolution more than a fusion between the previous two. Like the Salamence line (creature -> ball -> powerful creature). Does this mean anything.
Lucy: OK I promise I'm not running out of steam or anything but again, Lucy is kinda just there for me. I've honestly been sitting here looking at it like "it looks cool. It looks like an upgraded Miladay. It's cool. Why a spy I don't know but its cool". And that about sums it up to be honest. I get that the figure she is based off of was a spy but like why a spy for Haru. Was this just a case of them going "well it looks kinda like a modern business woman and looks like a spy which is what Lucy is based on so a spy it is". Is that what's happening here.
Hereward: And here he is the main man himself. By FAR my favorite third tier Persona. Sorry Celestine I love you but have you seen this man. This Persona design hits the nail on the head. Is it a good representation of how Akechi has changed as a character? Yes absolutely (dark hero vibes). Is it a good combination of the previous two Personas? Without a shadow of a doubt knocks it outta the park. Does it fit with the initial Persona unmasked theme? Yes yes it does. I also wanna mention that I like the idea that Akechi awoke to Loki and Robin Hood at the same time (full credit for that idea goes to whoever drew that phenomenal artwork I am so sorry I can't remember their url) and Hereward being a really good combination of both of them leans into that idea nicely (that's more a coincidence tbh cause I don't think it's explicitly stated which one came first). Also this quote from the wiki really sums up how good I think Hereward's design is:
"In a similar vein to how Robin Hood's design was largely inspired by comic book hero Superman, Hereward's design may have been inspired by Batman, hence the black armor and the bat wing-like protrusions on the back of his head. This may be an allusion to Akechi's role in the third semester, symbolizing his transformation from a seemingly-altruistic hero to a feared warrior seeking to see through his own personal justice. It also can be seen as a visual combination of Robin Hood and Loki, incorporating the bow and weapon of the former and the dark aesthetics of the latter."
Ella: um. Yeah I gotta be honest on this one, I don't feel... qualified? enough to give my thoughts on her because I feel like I haven't fully grasped Sumire as a character. I think the whole Cinderella persona thing she has gong on is great and it fits what I understand of her story but as for Ella's design. Why a wedding dress. Like why. It looks appealing but like??? I don't know tbh 💀💀
And yeah that about sums up all my thoughts. I will say that like I feel my thoughts will change once I get the full story of the third semester because already I feel like a lot of these designs are missing (or I'm missing the context) some connection to the actual story of the third semester. Like these personas are supposed to represent the sort of wrapping up of the thieves character arcs and I feel like that aspect is, while the idea of the personas being based off of their original personas leans into this, ultimately underused. I don't know maybe my thoughts will change once I play it properly. Uh hope you had fun reading this because I've been typing for like an hour no joke 💀😭

For the character ask game, would you do Finrod and Finarfin, please?
Of course!!
Tumblr media
Finrod
I absolutely love Finrod's aesthetic. He's a snake he's a himbo he's antropologist he's a shiny he's covered in blood. just. top tier
I've actually just remembered this but I did invent a name for him! Tyelpenimer, Silver Shadow, is a name Maglor gives Finrod in my werewolf au
I love fanon vision of Finrod, especially appearence-wise. He definitely wears loads of jewelry, loves laughing and is a sweetheart. However fandom is also 100% WRONG. I don't love it when Finrod's portrayed as this perfect unproblematic cousin, or as holier-than-thou person, or as an optimistic ball of sunshine. My beef is probably with "holier-than-thou", mostly because I picture Finrod as someone who's pretty much able to see his own mistakes and to be fully aware of his wrongdoings. That's why I hate when C&C or, God forbid, Sauron are pictured as having moral high ground because "at least they're aware they did wrong things and aren't hypocritical"
Finarfin
Tumblr media
HE'S A LEGEND HE'S AN ICON AND HE *IS* THE MOMENT
the man the myth the blorbo
HIS AESTHETIC ALRIGHT. he's a noldo by heritage, vanya by mother and teler by choice. no one does it like finarfin
NO ONE GETS HIM LIKE I DO (/jk)
No but for real, fandom does him dirty. I rarely see him as something more than a background character, and even then, he's usually kind, quiet and forgiving. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he posesses these traits, and I love that in him, BUT THEY'RE NOT ALL THAT CHARACTERISES HIM!! he's sad he's lonely he's hurt and he's angry!!!! and he has SO much potential. honestly it makes me sad there's not much aracentric fics
his hair glows in the dark. during war of wrath it glows constantly. i will take this headcanon into my grave and make tolkien canonise it
there's not much fanart of him which is a shame, though the fanart that exists is spectacular
there's like ten lines about him in canon. i based my entire personality around those ten lines. can you tell people find me weird
yes fanon is MEAN to him. I still remember vividly his description as a mommy boy, crybaby and a coward, all in one fic that claimed to be "objective" and "historically accurate". i also came across a take that pictured him as a corrupted power-hungry character, worse than both his brothers. though also fandom mostly ignores him which is just as mean because it makes me sad (/lh)
THERE IS SO MUCH PROJECTION. i'm sorry he's just a character that matters a lot to me
all in all. 10/10. the best character ever written, second to maybe hurin. exellent brainrot material, top tier. if you talk to me about him i Will cry of happiness.

Where would you rank every battlesuit of kiana, mei and bronya in terms of design?
Seen your recent post and thought of saying this
(That’s a lot of designs, so I’m not gonna do in depth commentary on each individual design here. If you have questions on certain ones rankings, I can elaborate elsewhere. Also, every design within the same tier is the same level of good. I’m not trying to say one design is better than the other if it’s placed higher up on the S tier segment than other)
Disclaimer: I’m trying my best to be objective here, but this is art so personal biases will come into play. I’m not trying to force anyone else’s opinion on this matter, just sharing my thoughts
S (fantastic, wouldn’t change a thing)-
Void drifter (combines elements of both her mother figures with Elements of HoV while still keeping signature elements of Kiana’s designs)
HoV (truly looks like a pissed off goddess ready to kick ass. Set the standard for Herrscher designs)
HoF (already explained this one elsewhere)
HoT (ok, we all already know this design is amazing. I don’t feel the need to explain this one)
Orochi Cuirass (takes the silhouette of Danzai Spectramancer, and refines/streamlines it. The different textures on the blacks help them stay separated. Little splashes of gold keep this design from feeling to flat)
Haxxor Bunny (Bronie was out here doing the cyberpunk edge runners look before edge runners was even a thing. The dot texture makes her feel like she walked straight out of a comic book)
HoR (she looks like the tech queen she is. All the frills help give her a much bigger/grander appearance)
A (good design, could be great with minor changes)
Valkyrie Ranger (very solid starting out design, very little lore relevance)
Prodigal Girl (takes what works with White Comet and makes it scrappier. Feels very true to Kiana’s personality)
Striker Fulminata (if they made the shirt a little longer or given her shorts or tights, I think this would’ve been an excellent starter design for Mei. Looks soft and comfy while still being combat ready)
Drive Kometa (takes the mech elements of Yamabuki armor, puts them into Bronya’s usual silhouette, and puts her in a much more complimentary color)
Silverwing N-EX (Bronya’s literally just living her best life here and I love that for her. Brings her into the APHO aesthetic while keeping bits and pieces of her mech and Angel aesthetics)
B (overall good, but has one minor thing that just isn’t working)
White Comet (solid starting out design, looks kinda like a wet suit ngl)
Knight Moonbeam (looks like a refined version of divine prayer. Feels almost like the type of Valkyrie Kiana was trying to be at the beginning of the story. Personally would’ve liked more color though)
Wolf’s Dawn (solid starter design. I miss the mech legs)
Snowy Sniper (wouldn’t be my first choice in snow gear, but it’s alright. Wish they gave her a bulkier jacket and scarf)
HoTr (oof I want to rank this higher since it’s an excellent evolution of HoR, but it just doesn’t work as part of the trio. Lacks Mei’s purple and Kiana’s orange)
Dimension Breaker (looks more like a snowy sniper skin than a whole new design.
C (overall good, but has one major thing that just isn’t working)
Red Lictor/Radiant Blaze (Void drifter but with more white and only 3 colors. Very flat tone wise)
Crimson Impulse (the first and thankfully last time we see Mei in pink. They added armor in places it just shouldn’t be and it ends up making the design look clunky. Revealing outfit is weird given Mei’s more modest personality at this point in the story)
Danzai Spectranancer (combat jorts. It’s just a lot of overlapping patterns in textures without really intention behind them)
Valkyrie Bladestrike (same color palette problem as Shadow Dash. There’s a lot of unnecessary gaps in the clothes, and the stiff, revealing design doesn’t make sense for her personality)
Valkyrie Chariot (would be ranked higher if it wasn’t for the panty shots. That’s literally my only gripe with this design. Just put her in tights)
Black Nucleus (man, early Honkai really was determined to show us as much Bronya ass as physical possible. I think they should’ve gone with a color other than red)
D (ya, this just isn’t working)
HoFi (already explained this one elsewhere)
Divine Prayer (why nun? Flat tone wise. Never seen a nun outfit turned into shorts before and after this, I never want to again)
Lightning Empress (Mihoyo, get out of here with the revealing school uniforms. Isn’t this supposed to be her Herrscher persona??? She’s not threatening in the slightest)
Shadow Dash (it’s just too much stuff. Having Mei in so much red and black so early in the story muddies the thematic intentions with HoT’s color palette)
Yamabuki Armor (get that 16 y/o’s ass off my screen Mihoyo. Unnecessarily revealing and yellow just isn’t a good main color on Bronya)
F (this is just blatantly a bad design)
HoO (explained this one elsewhere)
Overall thoughts: other than how weirdly sexualized Bronya was early on, I think she’s the most consistent in terms of having good designs, and Kiana is just overall very solid. I feel like the writers just didn’t know what to do with Mei early on, and that ended up getting reflected in her designs, but once they hit their stride they took off sprinting and fell flat on their faces in the end with HoO

here's my tier list of the pirate101 worlds and also thoughts about them/why they are ranked this way.
long post incoming and also spoilers for the whole game basically! you've been warned
Tumblr media
--
S tier;
Marleybone- this is my absolute favorite world in the game! To see the consequences of our actions unfold was such an amazing experience. When I entered the world for the first time after being told by the NPC that it was, "an active warzone." I thought, how bad could it be?
it was, indeed, bad. I remember my awe looking at all the destruction and hearing the blast of the beachhead cannons for the first time scared me so bad. Only one thought crossed my mind, "we fucked up."
Overall the whole world is awesome! The aesthetic, the plot, catbeard being catbeard, bishop my beloved, Bonnie's promo, and just everything! The only bone I have to pick is that I wish it was longer.
Also the soundtrack is top tier, the skyway theme is on a permanent loop in my wizard101 darkmoor manor.
-+-
A tier;
Cool Ranch- definitely my second favorite world! I understand people don't like the length, but personally, I wasn't bothered by it at all. The two filler arcs were actually super fun.
Atmosphere was top tier, story was awesome, we get El Toro 🎺🎺, and funny puns to which I'm easily amused by
I wish the skyways were not super long; the world definitely would have gone down a tier if there was no Uber. I'd physically start sobbing if the Uber costed crowns.
Best ost is the haunted saloon theme with the piano. It is also played in my darkmoor manor, the spooky vibes are indeed immaculate.
--
Valencia- This world would have been S tier if it wasn't for part two dragging it down. The first part was awesome and I just overall love the steampunk aesthetic.
The music is awesome and it's just overall a great experience. The Kane fight was awesome and the cutscene at the end of the game was such a surprise! It spooked me a bit from the overall unexpectedness.
However, part two is indeed rushed and it makes me long for what it could have been. Nonetheless, I try to appreciate the good parts and for what we got.
-+-
B tier;
Skull Island- The OG world, an enjoyable experience.
It is, however, in B tier due to it being more of a prologue. It's definitely not a bad thing and does an awesome job for what it is.
Ratbeard's questline was the best part!
The Isle of Doom felt like a bit of a drag, however.
--
Monquista- It is good for what it is, and I liked the civil war aspect. The world building for the religion there was also super interesting. However, the world is very short and the skyways are long.
The visuals were awesome, I loved the pink sky and just the overall stark difference from Skull Island- a good fit for the first world. It was also quite hilarious how small the doors and stuff were, which, of course, makes sense- but the thought of how the Young Pirate fits through them along with the crew is so funny to think about.
-+-
C tier;
Mooshu- This world was very beautiful and interesting, don't get me wrong. It was a definite step above Wizard Mooshu and did everything right.
The jokes were hilarious, I laughed for a solid minute at the "Threaten the Chicken" and when that one guy died.
However, there are two main reasons why this world is placed how it is.
The reasons go hand-in-hand. Marleybone is the world directly after it and I've heard SO MUCH about how good it was, how it was awesome, and stuff. Because of this, Mooshu felt like a drag because I couldn't wait to get to Marleybone- my hype was uncontained so Mooshu felt like a brick wall that I had to climb.
I wish I could have enjoyed it more, but if I ever play through Pirate again, I will feel the same way due to how good Marleybone is.
-+-
D tier;
Aquilla- Aquilla, Aquilla, Aquilla, oh where do I start.
I loved the concept of it, to finally go visit the world only seen in snippets in Wizard. However, there was no original content whatsoever. It was all just retellings of famous stories.
Now, some are fine, but when it's the exact same thing every time with nothing new it gets old extremely fast.
It definitely does not help that Aquilla comes after the most solid world in the game, Marleybone. It felt like a drag I had to go through till I could finally finish the game.
Also it was very much a defeat-and-collect quest hell.
The best part of Aquilla was Hawkules, who I very much enjoyed. He is awesome, but not much is done with him. This isn't Aquilla's fault though, as Valencia part two rushed to the finish line.
-+-
Miscellaneous;
Dragonspyre- While this world is in the D tier, it's there because I couldn't add another tier. I wish Avernus skyway could have been expanded upon as I love crossovers between Pirate and Wizard, it makes the Spiral feel so much more fleshed out and 3D. Alas, we did not get much.
---
Spiral Skyways- The skyways you have to travel to get to different worlds were awesome! The scenery is so beautiful and it just gives me so many thoughts about lore and how things work on the spiral: breathing in "space," how ships float in the sky, differences between fish that can fly and water fish biological wise, windstones, where did the stones come from, and so much more!!
I love pondering the games lore so much ajajeoekcorncn
-+-
That is all! Hope you enjoyed it. I am open to civil debate/conversation about these topics if anyone is interested btw.

for the trope ask thing, what are your thoughts about: fake dating? historical alternate universe settings? hanahaki?
Fake dating - A+ tier, love it, especially if they’re doing it as friends already or if it’s focused on a specific event (be my date to a wedding/holiday/trip). It’s best as high comedy to me, salted with the flavor-enhancer of pining - if it’s all forlorn then I lose interest because maaan what a waste of a great comedy setup
Historical AU - hmm, C tier, really depends on the author and the amount of thought that went into the historical part. I never have cared for the Victoriana aesthetic so if it’s just an Austen style thing I’ll skip it unless it’s been highly recommended. BUT history is a huge sandbox with so much more than 1880-1920 England in it! If someone’s written something in a period that is clearly their special interest and the research is deliciously crunchy then I’ll read a historical au set pretty much anywhere!
(Caveat that if it’s a Vietnam war au I might also nope out bc I have a low tolerance for Oscar bait in fanfic form and I did read Twist and Shout (SPN) and it did not do it for me)
Hanahaki - rating N/A because you know I don’t think I have ever read a single piece of hanahaki? I will say that conceptually it doesn’t sound interesting to me. I have a mid-range tolerance for pining - I need either plot or communication to happen at SOME point to break things up. And hanahaki sounds like it’s the extreme end of the pining spectrum, so. (Also flavored with a little fuck or die, right? Or at least fulfill the relationship or die? Ehh -waves iffy hand-)

card layout tier list
while i'm at it with the longposts, here's a tier list of trading card layouts (also this only counts the default because otherwise magic has like six million different layout at this point)
A tier:
these are my favorites. each excels at what they set out to do. the original magic layout gives the feeling of pages from a magic tome, describing monsters and spells alike. the disney TCG works on another level, as it's able to display all the relevant gameplay information while prioritizing the art and name yet making it a functional. the disney game will, like pokemon, be primarily sold as collector pieces for disney fans, and for that purpose, this is fantastic. i especially appreciate how it manages to fit all of the collector's information, not just the artist, trademark, and set distribution information, but also the expansion symbol. the original magic card design was perfect in its simplicity, but the disney TCG is perfect in being able to convey so much information yet keep it concise and clear. i will never play that game, but i am in awe
Tumblr media Tumblr media
b tier:
i especially love how the attack and defense on old yugioh monsters was presented. it has the same old tome feeling of old magic cardsbut feels refreshingly different. the problem is that for effect monsters, which didn't exist for several sets, their information is much harder to fit into the text box. thankfully, the replacement design, with a larger textbox, had a similar feeling, and remains a strong and iconic design magic's modern design also goes in this tier. visually, i think it's a step back from the original, but as a gamepiece, it's far superior. like the disney game, it's great at portraying all the information players and collectors need in a concise manner. it also shows off the art well and has a good downward flow. of the designs in this tier, it's definitely the best
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
c tier:
here's where designs start getting iffier. i love the Future Sight border, but it is rife with gameplay issues, such as being unusable for right-handed players, as well as concerns about costs fitting in it. i like the way the border overlaps with itself in the oval and art, but it's otherwise hard to defend from a practical perspective however, it's still striking and visually interesting. it's remembered well for a reason and i would like to see wotc return to it, even if only for a secret lair or the like
pokemon layouts, new and old, haven't changed much from a practical level. i think they convey all the information that they need to, but a lot falls flat in terms of the layout. in both cases, the use of flavor text feels off. the collector's information in the corner is nice, but things like video game information is really unnecessary. the reason why it's there is because the pokemon trading card game is as much or more about being collector's pieces over game pieces. while there is a thriving competitive scene for the game and people do play it casually, most cards sold are because of the demand for fans of other parts of the franchise. as collector's pieces, i think they're compromised, since so much of the card is being dedicated to effects and the text box. things like flavor text or species information are neat and do add to the mystique of the card, but i don't think they're enough to make it better than a passing grade
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
d tier:
the worst designs that i'll talk about today are Cardfight Vanguard and Weiss Schwarz. they're pretty similar in terms of design, as Weiss Schwarz is a spinoff of Vanguard. simply put, they both run into information overload. abilities aren't listed in a good order, type information is smushed together with attack, and things like shield, grade, or trigger are visually overwhelming. it's a trainwreck of design, which is a shame because the game systems themselves are pretty neat. i will say, at least, that i respect Vanguard more for having its own art and designs, and thus, aesthetic, while the art used in Weiss Schwarz is all screencaps and promo art being reused. i'm sure that makes the game much cheaper to produce, but it also makes it feel cheap. and once again, it runs into the problem of making a game meant as a game and a collector's item. if you're buying weiss schwarz cards, getting screencaps from the show or reused promo art can feel really underwhelming

I’m curious about what sorts of videogames you usually play. I’d been meaning to ask you if you’ve seen TUNIC but I didn’t know if you kept up with action RPGs
I haven't played TUNIC but I'll take this opportunity to give my general opinions on various genres. I'm going to be brief but you're all encouraged to ask further questions.
RPGs: I love all kinds of RPGs, whether they're turn-based or action. If there's one style I dislike then it would be real time with pause.
I also prefer western RPGs that draw more closely from tabletop games over JRPGs. Freedom and immersion are some of the things I prioritize the most in these games.
S-tier.
Strategy: My second favorite genre after RPGs. I have a preference for turn-based ones and have played many of the really influential/significant games in the genre. I don't really have the ability to make my fingers zoom as fast as they need to in order to be really good at RTS though. I also just prefer being able to take my time to look at things and multitask a little.
A-tier.
Deckbuilding Roguelikes: I like many aspects of these, from building synergies to using cards to express various things and figuring out complex interactions.
A-tier.
Simulation: Depending on the level of detail and complexity, this can easily be really engaging.
B-tier.
Immersive Sim: Depends on what kinds of completely cracked things you are allowed to do in them but there's enough interesting games in here to warrant a high rating from me.
B-tier.
Shooters: Both first and third person are good. I don't really have a preference when it comes to camera position.
However, I think more "realistic" shooters with real-life weapons tend to be bland compared to the more creative and diverse arsenals and abilities you get in more sci-fi games.
B-tier.
Horror: Fiction doesn't really scare me, so there's an aspect to these games that I feel I'm missing and if they don't have much else going for them I'm not going to like it. However, a lot of horror games have really good aesthetics and manage to incorporate fun mechanics. I especially like some of the Resident Evil games and stuff like Darkwood.
B-tier.
Survival: For some reason, I really like the idea behind many of these games. Having to gather and manage resources and build up a cool and comfortable base in a hostile environment and all. Particularly fun with friends.
B-tier.
Mystery/Detective Games: There's lots of ways to sabotage this genre by pretty much leading the player to the right answer, but there's also clever ways to make them reach those satisfying conclusions on their own. I really enjoy figuring things like this out.
B-tier.
Shoot 'em Ups: Touhou and (to a much lesser extent) Deathsmiles are really the only series in this genre that I have much of an interest in. Touhou is definitely A-tier even in terms of just playing it, but most of the time this is just fine and not particularly noteworthy to me.
C-tier.
Beat 'em Ups + Platformers + Action-Adventure + Puzzle + Metroidvanias + Stealth + Tower Defense: All of these are decent for passing time, and some of the best ones are definitely worth it. However the genre as a whole is usually not what I even look at when I'm thinking about what I want to do.
C-tier.
MMORPG: I can only really enjoy these if I'm playing with friends. I see an incredible amount of potential in this genre, and would even say that it is possibly the most interesting one in all of gaming, but it has various issues and I'm also just not talkative enough to be the type of person who really enjoys it.
C-tier.
Fighting: I want to like fighting games. I often really like a lot of the characters from them (they tend to have amazing designs) and I really appreciate the artistry involved in expressing what a character is about through their moveset and animations.
However, I struggle to actually play them for very long because they can make my chronic pain flare up. Even just playing casually against the computer comes at a cost because of that.
C-tier.
Idle Games: "Enjoyable" only on a really superficial level without the quality of design to carry it any further. I can't say I like these games.
D-tier.
Rhythm: It's not a bad concept but it doesn't really stimulate me the way other games do and I also don't have the timing to be very good at these.
F-tier.
Racing: If there's some form of combat involved this can reach D-tier at best but otherwise it's just not that interesting to me.
F-tier.
MOBA: No.
F-tier.
Gacha: I will look at the hentai but otherwise see this as a blight upon games.
F-tier.
Sports: Absolutely not for me.
F-tier.

What Makes a VEVO Video Stand Out? Secrets to Getting Your Video Approved
In the digital age, music videos have become a critical tool for artists to engage their audience, build their brand, and showcase their creativity. Platforms like YouTube have long been popular, but VEVO stands out as a top-tier platform for professional music videos. Known for its high-quality content and exclusive partnerships with major music labels, VEVO offers artists an unparalleled opportunity to gain visibility and credibility. However, not every music video makes the cut. So, how do you ensure your music video gets approved? If you're wondering how to get your video on VEVO, the answer lies in understanding what makes a VEVO video truly stand out. In this article, we’ll explore the creative and technical aspects that contribute to a successful VEVO submission, helping you not only get your video approved but also ensuring it shines among the best.
1. The VEVO Standard: Why It's So Exclusive
VEVO is not just any video platform; it's a premium space where only professionally curated content is allowed. From Taylor Swift to Drake, VEVO hosts videos of some of the world’s most iconic musicians. For an up-and-coming artist, being featured on VEVO can lend your brand significant credibility. However, VEVO's standards are high. They don't just accept any video — the content must meet a set of strict criteria to be featured. The platform emphasizes quality, originality, and professionalism.
When you ask how to get your video on VEVO, you're asking how to align your video with a platform that demands the highest standards. This starts with video quality but extends to the overall production, from lighting and sound to narrative and visual coherence.
2. Key Elements of a Successful VEVO Video
If you’re serious about landing your video on VEVO, there are several critical factors to consider:
A. High-Quality Video Production
VEVO only accepts high-definition (HD) and ultra-high-definition (UHD) videos. At a minimum, your video should be shot in 1080p, although 4K is becoming increasingly standard for modern productions. Make sure your video is crisp and clear, with excellent lighting, sharp focus, and seamless editing. Amateurs using grainy, poorly lit, or low-resolution footage will not make the cut.
B. A Compelling Story or Concept
VEVO is not just about aesthetics; your video needs to tell a story or have a compelling concept. Whether it’s a narrative, abstract visuals, or even a concert performance, your video should have a cohesive theme or message. Think of music videos like Childish Gambino's "This Is America" or Beyoncé’s visual albums — they stand out not just for their production but for the depth of their storytelling.
C. High-Quality Audio
It goes without saying, but in addition to high-quality visuals, the audio needs to be impeccable. The sound mix should be clear, balanced, and professional, with no background noise or distortion. If you’re not a sound engineer, consider hiring one to ensure your track is polished and ready for VEVO’s stringent audio standards.
D. Professional Editing
The pacing, cuts, and transitions of your video are just as important as the content. Choppy or amateur editing can kill the flow of your video and reduce its appeal. VEVO viewers expect a seamless experience, so invest in professional editing to ensure smooth transitions, well-timed cuts, and overall coherence.
E. Rights and Legal Requirements
To get your video on VEVO, you must ensure you own the rights to the music, video footage, and any other elements used in the production. VEVO requires full ownership or proper licensing of all content, including background music, visual elements, and any actors or performers who appear in the video.
3. Common Mistakes to Avoid When Submitting to VEVO
Even if your video looks and sounds great, there are a few common mistakes that can prevent it from being approved:
A. Ignoring the Branding Requirements
VEVO is selective about branding. Your video can’t include any third-party logos, brand names, or advertisements. This applies to clothing, props, and set designs. Videos that feature branded products in a way that seems promotional can be rejected outright.
B. Poor Thumbnail Design
The thumbnail is the first impression of your video. Make sure it's eye-catching, relevant to your video, and professionally designed. Avoid misleading thumbnails that might create confusion or frustrate viewers.
C. Metadata Errors
Metadata refers to the information accompanying your video, including the title, artist name, genre, and description. Ensure this information is accurate and appropriately filled out when submitting. Misleading or incomplete metadata can cause delays in approval or rejection.
D. Skipping Distribution Partners
If you want your video on VEVO, you can't upload it directly yourself. You'll need to partner with a distributor like TuneCore, Ditto Music, or RouteNote, which have direct partnerships with VEVO. These distributors ensure your video meets VEVO’s standards and guide you through the submission process.
4. How to Distribute Your Music Video to VEVO
The final step in getting your video on VEVO is finding the right distributor. Distribution services like TuneCore, Ditto Music, RouteNote, and Amuse.io have agreements with VEVO and can act as intermediaries between you and the platform. These services will handle the technical aspects, ensuring your video is encoded correctly and meets all the platform’s specifications.
Choosing the Right Distributor
Each distribution service offers different pricing models, features, and artist support. Some, like RouteNote, offer free distribution but take a percentage of your revenue, while others like TuneCore charge upfront fees. Research the options and choose a service that aligns with your needs and budget.
5. Promotion Strategies Once Your Video is on VEVO
Getting your video on VEVO is just the beginning. Once it’s live, you’ll need to promote it to maximize its impact. Here are some tips:
Leverage Social Media: Share your VEVO video on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok to drive traffic.
Collaborate with Other Artists: Feature other artists in your video or collaborate on cross-promotion efforts.
Utilize Playlists: Reach out to playlist curators on Spotify and YouTube to feature your song in relevant playlists.
Engage with Fans: Respond to comments, create live Q&A sessions, or host a live stream event to celebrate your VEVO debut.
Conclusion:
If you're wondering how to get your video on VEVO, it ultimately comes down to delivering a high-quality product that aligns with VEVO’s professional standards. From video production to sound quality and creative storytelling, every detail matters. Avoid common pitfalls, collaborate with trusted distribution partners, and stay consistent in your promotional efforts once your video goes live. With the right combination of talent, planning, and execution, getting your music video on VEVO can be the breakthrough your career needs.

Explore the Best Fountain Nozzles for Stunning Water Displays
When it comes to creating mesmerizing water features, the fountain nozzle is an essential component that dictates the flow, shape, and overall aesthetic of the fountain. Whether you are designing a tranquil garden oasis or a grand hotel fountain, selecting the right fountain nozzle is crucial. With a variety of designs and functionalities available, it's important to understand the different types of fountain nozzles, their prices, and where to find a reliable fountain nozzle supplier, especially if you're located in Dubai or the UAE.
Tumblr media
Understanding Fountain Nozzles
A fountain nozzle is a critical component that determines the pattern and movement of water in a fountain. The right nozzle can create anything from a gentle mist to a powerful jet, making it a versatile tool in water feature design. Fountain nozzles come in various shapes and sizes, each designed to achieve a specific water effect. From simple spray nozzles to more complex rotating and multi-jet nozzles, the options are vast..
Types of Fountain Nozzles
Spray Nozzles: These are the most common types of fountain nozzles. They produce a simple, vertical spray and are ideal for small to medium-sized fountains. Spray nozzles are easy to install and maintain, making them a popular choice for both residential and commercial applications.
Foam Jet Nozzles: Foam jet nozzles create a soft, foamy water column that adds a dynamic visual effect to the fountain. These nozzles are perfect for creating a calm and soothing atmosphere in gardens or parks.
Rotating Nozzles: As the name suggests, rotating nozzles rotate to create a swirling water pattern. These nozzles are often used in large fountains to create a dramatic visual effect. They are available in various designs, including rotating rings and multi-jet configurations.
Cascade Nozzles: Cascade nozzles create a tiered water effect, where the water cascades down in layers. These nozzles are ideal for creating a natural waterfall effect in fountains, adding an element of elegance and tranquility to the water feature.
Bell Nozzles: Bell nozzles produce a clear, bell-shaped sheet of water. This type of nozzle is perfect for creating a delicate and intricate water pattern, often used in indoor fountains and smaller water features.
Fountain Nozzle Suppliers in Dubai and UAE
Finding a reliable fountain nozzle supplier is essential to ensure you get high-quality products that meet your specific needs. In Dubai and the UAE, there are several suppliers who specialize in fountain nozzles and other water feature components. These suppliers offer a wide range of nozzles, including spray, foam jet, rotating, and cascade nozzles, among others.
When choosing a fountain nozzle supplier, it's important to consider factors such as product quality, pricing, and customer service. Reputable suppliers in Dubai and the UAE typically offer a comprehensive selection of nozzles, along with expert advice to help you choose the right nozzle for your project. They may also provide installation services and after-sales support to ensure your fountain operates smoothly.
Fountain Nozzle Prices
The price of a fountain nozzle can vary depending on the type, material, and size of the nozzle. Simple spray nozzles are generally the most affordable, with prices starting as low as AED 50. More complex nozzles, such as rotating or cascade nozzles, can be significantly more expensive, with prices ranging from AED 200 to AED 1,000 or more.
When budgeting for a fountain project, it's important to consider not only the cost of the nozzles but also other related expenses, such as installation, maintenance, and water treatment. Some suppliers in Dubai and the UAE offer package deals that include nozzles, pumps, and other necessary components at a discounted rate.
Swimming Pool Fountain Nozzles
Swimming pool fountain nozzles are a popular choice for adding a decorative element to swimming pools. These nozzles can create a variety of water effects, from gentle sprays to dramatic jets, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the pool area. In Dubai and the UAE, where luxurious swimming pools are common, swimming pool fountain nozzles are often used to create stunning water displays that elevate the ambiance of residential and commercial properties.
When selecting a swimming pool fountain nozzle, it's important to consider the size and depth of the pool, as well as the desired water effect. Some nozzles are designed to create a cooling mist, while others produce more elaborate water patterns that can be illuminated with LED lights for a striking nighttime display.
Swimming Pool Fountain Nozzle Dubai
In Dubai, where luxury and innovation are at the forefront of design, swimming pool fountain nozzles are a popular feature in both residential and commercial properties. Whether you're designing a pool for a private villa or a five-star hotel, the right fountain nozzle can transform an ordinary pool into a stunning visual masterpiece. Many suppliers in Dubai offer a wide range of swimming pool fountain nozzles, along with installation and maintenance services to ensure your water feature operates flawlessly.
Swimming Pool Fountain Nozzle UAE
Across the UAE, swimming pool fountain nozzles are widely used to enhance the appeal of pools and water features. With the region's warm climate, water features are a popular way to create a refreshing and visually appealing environment. Whether you're looking for a simple spray nozzle or a more complex rotating or cascade nozzle, you'll find a variety of options available from suppliers in the UAE.
