sehrin was raised by petty thieves and pickpockets who lived on the lower, unsavory parts of zeltros. opposite the higher pleasure levels of zeltros, the lower parts are less concerned about the intoxication of emotions and more concerned with using those emotions.  his actual parents gave into the revelry and simply never came home one day. the thieves broke into the small quarters and found sehrin sitting on the floor. brakhin and sha’bi ( both aliases that sehrin uses ) more or less took him in as his official parents but those who raised him were the small criminals of the underground. sehrin learned how to pickpocket at a young age, petty thievery into scamming, into learning how to manipulate emotions or use pheromones to sway a crowd.  sehrin had a rough childhood, the criminal underworld is not kind to its children. he quickly learned how to turn it around so he was the ones calling the shots. he still uses a lot of what he learned, how to turn a bad situation into something that works for him but there is no love lost between those sehrin left behind when he left zeltros.

eh, sehrin is not that sensitive to it. he doesn’t not believe in it but he also think it’s just a joke. you can’t sell it, you can’t steal it, it’s not something that has value to him. it’s superstition and while sehrin loves to mess with the superstitious because if they’re gullible enough to buy that — they’ll buy anything, he doesn’t see why one would wage a whole war in the name of it.  he would probably muddle up in the middle because he’s got a business to run and while he’s not a bad person, he’s not entirely decent.

zeltron are noted for their revealing, provoking clothing. skin tight, short cuts, leaving hardly anything to the imagination while adorned in jewels, make up, and anything that galaxy would call beautiful or expensive. sehrin might have left zeltros behind but that doesn’t mean he stopped being zeltron.  however, he prefers the more traditional zeltron clothing — those worn in theatre, opera, or for traditional celebrations or ceremonies. loose, very sheer fabric that drapes and flows. flowing sleeves or sheer robes, he likes ruffles and lace. that said, he also loves he reveals a lot of skin with low cut outfits or simply not wearing anything at all. jewelry tends to be more of an afterthought, he wears it but they’re usually small pieces. a single necklace, a few bracelets, the occasional ring. sehrin feels like his biggest asset is his body and he shows it off in the ways he knows he looks good — he’s immediately pegged with that soft, pastel pink skin and all that comes with it. sehrin plays into that especially when he knows it’ll get him somewhere.  his hair is naturally magenta but he dyes it black and wears it long with beads, braids, feathers, little coins all woven into it. this is pretty much all the ornamentation he gets into. he loves make up, glitter, although left to his own devices, sehrin will dress up and float around in whatever he finds. he likes costuming, he loves dressing up and he absolutely will throw on a full face of make up and a dress just because he wants to but, in his own little world, he tends to keep it tame. ( well, as tame as sehrin is which can still be pretty wild. as in naked. )  i’m pretty sure what i’m saying is that his aesthetic is sexy space pirate who stars in an opera. he absolutely has a big hat somewhere.  his workspace, however, has very little room for error. everything is packed and logged and sealed away as efficiently and as orderly as possible. he refuses to have chaos when he’s dealing with work because that’s when people believe they can get in and start messing around. sehrin likes to have fun, he loves a good party, but business and business and he will not have someone coming in and fucking things up. however, his living space roughly resembles a dressing room with a cigarette still smoldering in the ashtray, costumes thrown about on the bed and mirror and floor, make up and glitter spilling out of containers and onto countertops. there’s jewelry spread about, the bed probably still has someone sleeping in it. it smells like vanilla, heavy perfume, and smoke.

zeltrons come with a certain reputation and he absolutely uses that in order to get something. aside from that, one thing that is overlooked is zeltrons also have a limited telepathy control over both their emotions and the emotions around them. sehrin can both inflame, dampen, or simply bombard with emotions until things begin to happen his way. he can also read them which can be very useful in finding the right target. he doesn’t hesitate to use it. he also has very powerful pheromones that can be used to sway someone to his suggestions. 

he is very indulgent about life’s pleasures — “darling, just because i would rather see zeltros burn in a fiery cataclysm of doom doesn’t mean that i disagree with them. oh no! we have the better taste in pretty much everything.” he will spend more money on something simply because it is expensive. he spends money that isn’t his. he will absolutely run through your savings and then some. if you say something along the lines of “i’ll be the one to satisfy you” then he will very much test that. 

08. Tell us about your character’s relationship with food. What are their favorites? Do they enjoy cooking? Are they adventurous? Will they eat absolutely anything or are they hard to please?

sehrin might enjoy the expensive things in life but he’s never really been too picky with his food. when you’re running through space with no depot, planet, or station near buy and supplies start running low — you make do with what you’ve got. he certainly enjoys expensive foods and will never say no to them.  he loves to experiment in the kitchen and try out new things with mixed results. he knows to how to make ship stew ( which is basically a stew with all the leftover food you have no idea what to do with ) and it’s ... decent but he isn’t that great at anything more complex than that. he, however, disagrees! 

09. How does your character feel about engaging in relationships—romantic and / or sexual—with others? What is their history like? Do they fall in love easily? Are they constantly in and out of relationships?

oh boy. sehrin likes sex — like, he really does. it’s an information tool which he absolutely utilizes but also just a way to be with someone. zeltros thrived on sexuality, on pleasure seeking, on living your life to the fullest because we’re all just hurdling through space with no rhyme or reason — sehrin mostly agrees with that. he was taught that you can have absolutely anyone if you played your cards right.  he uses sex for information, he can manipulate emotions and give off heady pheromones that can sway thought and he has a reputation to keep up. people say the darnedest things while they’re in bed, thinking they’re safe from the world outside. sehrin listens, he learns, he adapts.  sex, however, is still something he sees as an intimate thing. a romantic at his core, sehrin almost wishes that someone would come and sweep him off his feet and carry him off into the sunset. almost. i wouldn’t say that he’s in and out of relationships, he starts them and then lets them continue on until the other is done.  

10. What is your character’s pain tolerance like? Can they hold their own in a fight, despite injury? If someone hurts them with the aim of gaining information, how much can they take before they cave?

“whoa! whoa, whoa — hold on. darling, you really don’t need all those. i’ll tell you what you want to know ... just take off the cuffs and we can have a lovely little chat. oh, unless this turns you on? is that what you like, darling?”   he actually has a pretty low pain tolerance. his confidence level, however, balances that out. and most of the time he can sleaze his way out of situations before he is actually hurt. he can hold his own in a fight generally but he’s not exactly going to win anything. physical strength isn’t his strong suit.  he absolutely will cave the second he is threatened. although, he’ll set a price for his information. 

11. What is your character’s weapon of choice? Are they more skilled as a melee fighter or do they have more skill with ranged weapons? What’s their fighting style like? What sort of training do they have behind them?

he carries two blasters on him pretty much all the time along with various knives tucked about on his person. he doesn’t like fighting and he prefers to stay out of it as much as he can. he’ll absolutely turn around and run if that’s going to keep him alive. he’s very survival driven and that can often be read as cowardly but he would simply say, “oh no, darling, not at all. i’m living another day while you’re rotting in the ground. from where i’m standing, that’s the better deal.”  he can fight, he’s just not that great at it. he fights dirty because that was what you did on the streets. he quickly learned that fighting isn’t going to get him want he wants. he would rather just slide into your lap and play with your hair and flirt a bit.

12. Does your character have any words or catchphrases that they say frequently? Tell us about how they picked them up.

“oh, darling!” sweet names are pretty common on zeltros and people usually respond nicely when it feels like you’re sweet on them. 

13. Tell us about a negative experience your character has had with either the Jedi or the Sith, and how this has affected their standing. Whether currently aligned or unaligned with either faction, if forced to choose, how would they side?

he really doesn’t have too much experience with either. he’s smuggled weapons to the sith before but there’s been very little interaction with the jedi. the sith he would describe as being harsh and stingy on their payment but he did get paid. that’s really all he knows about them and all he really cares to know. the jedi don’t interest him at all. “oh — forced? darling, i don’t like the sound of that. but, gun to my head, hm ... oh, i don’t know ... whoever pays better?” 

14. How would your character react to seeing a relative or friend on the opposing side of a battle or mission?

if it’s someone that he cares about, he would be upset. but he would quickly try to figure out how to turn it around and make it into an advantage. he would pretend that it didn’t hurt and simply just keep doing what he’s doing.  “... i see. well. i can’t say i’m surprised. never trust anyone who can’t properly get you off.” 

15. Describe a memory that your character finds embarrassing.

there isn’t much that embarrasses sehrin. he will probably do anything at least once and he’s learned that living a life filled with regret just isn’t really his jam. he prefers the adventure and if that means laughing at himself as he does ridiculous things — so be it.  now, others getting caught with sehrin in embarrassing situations for them? absolutely has happened. 

16. What goals does your character hold for themself and what steps have they taken towards achieving them? How far are they willing to go to reach them? What is their be-all and end-all?

sehrin really isn’t goal-oriented. he’s reward-oriented! the goal is and has always been success — be that rising above the petty criminal rings on zeltros or getting recognition from the exchange or simply getting what he wants.  somewhere deep, however, deep beneath all his glitter and glam and operatic behavior — sehrin really just wants something or someone to call home. he’s never truly experienced a home, not a loving one at least. he wants that but at the same time, he doesn’t know if that’s something he’ll ever find. 

17. What is the one thing your character would change about their life if they were given the chance? What other lives could they have lived as a result?

he would probably still be on zeltros, raised on the revelry. he wouldn’t change anything — he would probably still end up where he right now. 

18. Living in such a high-conflict time, how does your character feel about doing what they must to survive? Will they hurt or kill others—either directly or indirectly—to protect themself and / or those close to them? If so, do they regret it when all is said and done?

sehrin will do what sehrin does best, smuggle goods behind enemy lines and learn how to bend the war around him. he will find the winning side and when it’s convenient, he will help out. he will kill others to protect himself, he’s done it before and he’ll most likely do it again. once, however, he becomes attached to others and has adopted them into the fold — he will absolutely crush a man’s tracheae for them.  he doesn’t regret it, people die and people live and other people make profit off the both of them. he plans to be that third party. 

19. What is the biggest problem your character is currently dealing with?

getting paid on time. also finding and meeting trustworthy folk who won’t totally stab him in the back, he’s fine with minor backstabbing but there is a limit to how much backstabbery one can take. 

20. Give us 3+ headcanons of any length or subject matter.

loves opera. he learned about opera from a young age and would just get caught up in the story, the music, completely swept away by dashing heroes and tragic heroines and their epic stories. zeltros does not have a very big opera scene — opera often incorporates tragedies and zeltrons hate anything that deals with negative emotions — and he had to get his fix elsewhere. he has a really large collection of them and he will stop at planets that have reputed opera houses just to watch them. he actually has a really nice voice! and he will reenact scenes and parts whenever he’s just really feeling it. he gets into it and he has a lovely singing voice! 

he has a few tattoos he’s gathered from across the galaxy. around both his wrists are lace cuffs. several electro-tattoos as well, poorly done and the information has been hijacked after many years. scanned, they tell a very long story about a man and his adventures with his large penis. the true information was for the smuggling rings back on zeltros but he has no use for anymore. he also has a few unconnected constellations which he can brush off as freckles. they’re special to him and he doesn’t want just anyone knowing what they are.

Cisco had mocked them when they had first brought up the idea of a joint bachelor/bachelorette party. But as Iris and Barry had pointed out, they’d walked through most of their lives so far together and would be walking through the rest of it side by side. It seemed silly to split up for this one night. Besides, they basically had the same set of friends.

Oliver and Felicity had come in from Star City. Diggle had claimed he wasn’t able to find a sitter, but nobody really bought that excuse, especially as there were three other members of Team Arrow in Star City that night.

Kara had come in from Earth-38 for the occasion. She ran straight at Barry when she jumped through the portal into the West-Allen living room. “I’m so happy for you guys!” She hugged Barry tightly, releasing him quickly when she heard something snap. “Sorry! I’m just so excited. I mean, how often do superheroes actually get happily ever after?”

Barry gave her a puzzled look. “So you and Mon-El…”

Kara sighed, holding up her hand. “Don’t even ask.”

Iris smiled. “Well, we’re glad you could make it. Every other invitation we sent out to alternate dimensions got a ‘no.’”

“Jesse said she was stuck solving a problem on Earth-2, but she promises she’ll be here for the big day.”

“Gypsy made no such promise,” Cisco said. “She just said no.”

“So that whole ‘my girlfriend lives in another dimension’ thing,” Felicity said. “That doesn’t kill the relationship?”

“Kill?” Wally asked. “No. Pain in the ass? Yes.”

“Same.”

Iris slid an arm around Barry’s waist and looked up at him. “And that is why I am so glad to have you back home, babe.”

“I’ll always come home to you,” Barry said, leaning down for a kiss.

“Are they always this adorable?” Kara asked Caitlin.

“Pretty much,” Caitlin said. “At least when there aren’t any psychopaths standing in their way.”

“All right, y’all, let’s get this party started,” Cisco said. He reached for the bottle of champagne in the ice bucket and began filling glasses, passing them to their assorted friends. “A toast. To the bride and groom. Iris, from the moment you walked into STAR Labs and began questioning every single one of Caitlin’s medical credentials, I knew that whatever this relationship was (and let’s face it, those early phases were very confusing to the uninitiated), it was one of the strongest I had ever seen. To Iris and Barry and a love that transcends comas, life, death and dimensions.” Cisco looked around at the crowd. “Anybody else wanna go? I mean, I don’t think anyone’s going to top that, but you’re welcome to try.”

“I’ll give it a shot,” Oliver said, stepping forward. “Three years ago, when Barry first got his powers I gave him a few words of wisdom. The first, that he could be better than me; that he could inspire people. Watching over his city like a guardian angel. And I look around and see the people he’s inspired.” Oliver nodded towards Wally and Cisco. “The heroes who’ve stepped up in his city. And I’m happy to say that I was right. Barry Allen has not failed this city, or this world. The second thing I told him was that guys like us don’t get the girl.” His eyes slid over to Felicity for a fraction of a second before he turned them back towards the happy couple. “And, well, Barry completely disregarded that piece of information and here we are today celebrating the love that they have fought for. So, here’s to Barry for knowing which piece of advice to listen to and which was completely wrong and to Iris, the hero who saves The Flash. Because flaws and all, we still need him. Congratulations to the happy couple.”

They all clinked their glasses together to a chorus of “cheers.”

Twelve Hours Later

When Iris woke up, her first thought, before she even opened her eyes, was ugh, I am never drinking again. She could not remember the last time she had had a headache this bad. No, wait, yes, she could. Junior year of college when spring break had coincided with Barry’s twenty-first birthday and they had drank their way through every bar in Coast City. Of course, at least that time she had known she wouldn’t be facing the hangover alone. “God, Bear, I would kill for your ‘can’t get drunk’ superpower right now.”

She got no response.

Iris groaned. “Oh, come on, babe. Wake up. I need you to get me that bacon, egg and cheese thing from that place in Coast City. With the hashbrowns. And orange juice.” She reached a hand out to shake Barry awake, but froze when she made contact. That shoulder wasn’t nearly as sharp as it should’ve been. Iris’s eyes snapped open in panic, only to squeeze them tight again as the light sent a sharp pain through her skull. But the brief glimpse she got was enough to calm her rapidly beating heart. She reached out again, finding a mass of tangled curls. “Cisco! Wake up!”

Cisco stirred beneath her hand. “Ugh. Five more minutes, Mamá.”

Iris forced here eyes open and shook Cisco once more. “Not your mom, Cisco. It’s Iris.”

Cisco sat up, closing his eyes just as Iris had. “Iris? What the hell happened last night?”

Iris shook her head, immediately regretting the decision. “No idea. Last thing I remember was Oliver giving his toast and the next thing I know I’m waking up next to the wrong superhero.”

Cisco snorted. “Yeah, you’re not the only one. Look down.”

Iris glanced down to see a bright red S emblazoned on her chest. She jumped to her feet, studying the rest of her outfit. “I’m wearing a Supergirl costume! Why am I wearing a Supergirl costume?!”

Cisco rose to his feet coming around the bed. He reached his hand out for the cape, running the leathery material between his fingers. “I don’t think this is a costume. I’m pretty sure it’s the real deal. In which case, there are so many tests I would like to run.”

Iris swatted his hand away. “We are not testing Kara’s cape. We need to talk to Kara or Barry. They’ll know what happened, right? They can’t get drunk.”

“Which is usually the downside to their superpower combo platters,” Cisco said. “But I’d definitely be up for a trade right now.”

“Where’s my phone?” Iris said, running her hands over the fabric of the suit. “And why doesn’t this thing have pockets?” She checked under the covers, but had no luck.

Cisco reached into the pocket of his jacket. “Yahtzee! Okay, I have eleven new texts and three voicemails.” He put his phone on speaker and hit play.

Joe’s voice came through loud and clear. “Why aren’t any of you answering your damn phones? I’ve got half the precinct ready to shoot the superheroes on sight. Meet me at STAR Labs.”

Joe again. “Is Caitlin evil again? And why the hell is Supergirl working with her? Call me back. Now.”

Felicity’s message was barely understandable through her slurred words. “Viiiiiibbe. Did you find him yet? Iris is freaking out.”

“I am not freaking out!” Iris yelled in the background.

“Okay, Iris is totally calm in reaction and just looking for a status update.”

“If he is trapped in the Speed Force again, I swear I am gonna kick the Speed Force’s ass!” Iris yelled.

“I don’t think you can actually kick a force of nature’s ass,” Felicity said. “All right, so if you could just call. Or teleport. Whenever you know something. That’d be great. All right. Bye.”

Cisco looked back at Iris. “What does that mean?”

“I don’t know,” Iris said. “Call Barry. Or Felicity. Not my dad. I don’t want to talk to him until I get an idea of what happened last night.”

Cisco tried Barry and the call went to voicemail. He shook his head and tried Felicity’s number. She answered on the third ring. “If this is not an emergency, I swear to God, Cisco, I will freeze your assets.”

“Well, okay, do you call having absolutely no memory of last night an emergency, or should I just hang up now?”

Felicity sat up, studying her surroundings. “Okay, that does sound like a problem.” She rubbed her head. “A pretty familiar one, actually. I have no idea how I got up here.”

“Up where?”

“I’m on a roof. In Central City. I think it might be Jitters.” She walked over to the door and tugged on the handle. It didn’t budge. “Who locks a door on a roof? On second, there are flying metahumans in this town. Good call.”

“I’ll be there in a second. Hold on.” Cisco threw out his hand and tried to summon the swirling blue vortex that had become second nature to him to no avail. “Uh, Houston, we have a problem.”

“What? Your powers have to work you just – “ Iris threw out her hand in imitation of Cisco’s powers and her eyes widen in shock. “My engagement ring is gone!”

“Iris, as much as I would love to be freaked out by your missing jewelry, it’s having a little trouble competing with the terror of ‘my powers aren’t working’ right now!”

Iris glared at him. “I’m sure your powers will come back as soon as this hangover from hell goes away, but right now I would like to know where my engagement ring is. Preferably before I find my fiancé, so I don’t have to explain to him that I lost his great-grandmother’s engagement ring.”

“Hey, guys? Felicity here. Still trapped on a roof. Just saying.”

“We’ll be there,” Cisco said. “Just not as soon as I thought.” Cisco hung up the phone before Felicity could say anything else. He turned back to Iris. “All right, follow the trail. The last thing we remember from last night is Oliver’s toast.”

“Then we should find out what the hell it was we drank.” Iris marched back over to the kitchen table, where the empty bottle of champagne sat. An ivory card sat in an envelope next to it.

“It was a gift?” Cisco asked. “I didn’t even notice that last night.”

“Yeah, me neither.” Iris pulled the card from its envelope and read the message aloud. “’To the nights you’ll never remember with the friends you’ll never forget. After all you’ve been through, you deserve a break. Best wishes to the happy couple. Love, The Music Meister.’”

Cisco sighed. “You know, I am really starting to hate this dick.”

April and Joe’s Wedding Story

Here is a play-by-play for those who were unable to attend the wedding. 

Being a gigantic comic book fanatic, Joe proposed to April at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo on March 19, 2016. During the convention, their friends and family all wore costumes and held up signs that said “APRIL WILL YOU MARRY ME?”

Prior to that date, Joe continuously worked with a jeweler Adam to custom design April’s engagement ring with the theme of “two lives becoming one.” The idea was to have two bands becoming one band as well as having the two ends encircle the diamond. Unintentional in design, the top view of the ring ended up showing a heart.

As all great stories go, she said “Yes!”

Fast Forward to 2017 Wedding Planning!

One day, April and Joe were visiting a local comic book store and found a giant box of give-away comic books. In speaking with the manager, he agreed to give them the entire box of unsold comics, in addition to giving them more free boxes of comic books in later months.  All these comic books would later be turned into various comic book decorations.

Comic Book Hearts

Their friends cut strips of poster board and modge podged them with comic book paper. The strips were then bent into heart shapes and clear fishing wire was attached to each so the hearts could be hung from the chandeliers in the room. 

Comic Book Signs

April’s mom used her handy dandy Cricut machine to cut out hundreds of comic signs in various colors and sizes. April’s dad and friends took black paint marker and outlined each sign to accentuate them. Signs had various action words written on them as well. 

Signs were then glued onto sticks and poked into circular foam “coasters” that were modge podged with comic books.  

The smaller signs were used as seating charts.

During the prior months before the wedding, Joe’s parents were replacing their kitchen so he took the drawers and April’s dad dismantled them. 

Joe drew the “Mr & Mrs” shapes on the boards and April’s dad meticulously sawed each of the words out and made holders for them.

April and her mom then took comic books and modge podged each of wood pieces.

April’s mom created basket for April’s niece- the  flower girl.

Joe taught his mother, April, and several friends how to fold the comic books into origami lilies of varying sizes. 

Each comic lily was hand glued by Joe’s mother onto tree branches that were cut by April’s father from their home in central Illinois. Green paper leaves were cut out and also glued onto the branches for accent. 

The branches were then wired together and placed in 6 vases with colored ribbon.

Comic Book Rose Wedding Favors

From the plethora of free comic books, Joe’s mother spent countless nights searching, cutting out, gluing, and shaping each petal in order to create over 230 comic book rose wedding favors. Joe’s friends Stephen and Tori graciously helped him cut out leaves and write the names and wedding date.  

Bamboo Flowers

Joe’s mother repeated the same process and glued the petals to curved bamboo skewers in order to create 100+ bamboo comic book roses. 

These flowers were then used for making various wedding decorations: cans, cake flowers, and decorations for ceremony chairs & gazebo.

Joe’s mother also created flower arrangements from giant origami kusudama flowers, comic lilies, and comic roses that would attach to the pillars of the gazebo. Long floral vines attached to them and then met at the center of the gazebo where April’s dad had created a custom designed wooden cross for them.

Joe and April had made a special request that April’s father create a cross for the ceremony to be hung above them. This beautiful piece of work was created from hard maple and walnut. 

Wishing Well

Joe’s mother made the wishing well out of three boxes and decorated it with some wedding paper, ribbon, some reused flowers from another friends’ wedding, and previously mentioned comic flowers. 

                                    Bridal Party

For their wedding, Joe and April chose 5 groomsmen and 5 bridesmaids. Each bridal pair was assigned a specific color: Purple for the bride and groom, and then  Blue, Orange, Light Blue, Green, and Red for the others.  The bridesmaids wore jewelry, shoes, make up, nail polish, and a parasol in their designated color. The groomsmen were given a tie, pocket square, cufflinks, and converse Chuck Taylors (Joe’s favorite shoe) in their designated color to wear during the reception.

Boutonnieres

Joe’s mother searched through the mountain of free comic books to find the appropriate colors to handmake each boutonnière for his groomsmen and him. She also made comic book boutonnieres and corsages for herself and Joe’s father, April’s parents, April’s grandfather, and Joe’s childhood friends who would give speeches at the reception.

Bridal Bouquets

For the bridesmaids, they created paper bouquets in each of their designated color. The two tones of color per bouquet were origami Kusudama flowers, in addition to white origami Kusudama flowers. A little clear bead was also glued into the center of each kusudama and green floral tape was wrapped around each bamboo stem. Small comic origami lilies, designated color roses, and green paper leaves were inserted to fill in the gaps. A 7th bouquet was created using all the colors for the bouquet toss at the wedding reception. 

April’s purple bouquet was a cascading style arrangement that used purple tones and shiny white paper to create origami kusudama flowers. Clear beads were glued to the center and long vines were attached to give the bouquet a cascading look. 

Tall comic cylindrical containers with a complementary colored ribbon were also created to house each bouquet. During the wedding reception, the cylinders and the bouquets were placed around the sweet heart table.

Cake Topper

Joe finished the wedding topper around 12:30am the night before the wedding. The deal between April and Joe was that if he was not allowed to see April in her dress prior to the wedding, she was not allowed to see the wedding cake topper he would create for them. 

These cake toppers were modeled after outfits that the two typically wear. April’s father created the wooden platform while Joe sculpted these figurines from two wooden dolls and clay. 

The delicious 3-tiered vanilla flavored cake was wrapped with strips of comic book paper and then decorated with several of the flowers that Joe’s mother had hand-made for the wedding.

Joe handmade 20 comic book themed centerpieces for the wedding with the help of his childhood friend Matt. Each centerpiece had a brief explanation on the opposite side of the table number. Each centerpiece was also able to light up with the use of an electric candle or electric tea light. Comic book confetti in the shape of hearts was sprinkled around each centerpiece.
