this is an anti frans/chans and a supportive soriel post. if you dont ship Asgoriel or Soriel, i suggest you dont read this.

so, Imma just do some steryotypical tumblr rant about some popular undertale ships. bc??? I honestly dont understand some people. I dont get why people hate soriel. its the most unflawed sans ship. (I fine sansby to be unflawed too) How is it bad??? I dont get it??? Toriel and Sans are both legal adults, even if Toriel is an old lady, she technically still is an adult because of Asriel dying. but Even if she was old, it wouldnt be pedophilia, because pedophilia is only when one of the people in a relationship is a child, or not a legal adult. and its not necrophilia, either, because Sans isnt literally dead, he’s a skeleton monster. its not beastiality because Sans and Toriel are both monsters, its not like sans is a human and Toriel is an animal, she’s a Boss monster. and even in the game, i have a feeling they hinted at soriel. for example: 

in the true ending, while Sans, Toriel, and Papyrus were talking, it shown Asgore crying in the backround, but when they were done talking undyne says “they’re are more fish in the sea”, meaning Toriel was taken again. 

but honestly, the only thing I find okay is if people think Toriel would forgive Asgore and get back with him.

I do NOT like Frans (frisk + sans) OR Chans (Chara + Sans).  I find this ship disgusting. Frisk and Chara are both cannon children, and Sans is cannonly an adult. its pedophilia. and its also borderline beastiality, because Sans is a monster, and NOT a human. just because he is a skeleton doesnt mean that he is human, or related to them in any way. Not to mention the fact that he literally SAYS that the human would have died if he didnt promise Toriel, so I really doubt he’s that fond of Frisk. 

And honestly...Chara x Sans shows me how low this fandom can be. Chara is a child. and is literally dead, so its necrophilia and pedophilia. Sans and Chara never could have met when they were children, because that was hundreds of years ago, and Sans couldn’t have been alive. and Sans literally has no idea who Chara is in-game, so why would you ship someone with someone who they’ve never met before??? thats just weird.  

And Honestly, with Sans knowing about the resets, I dont think that would make Sans like Frisk, because he’d always have to wait to get with them, if he ever did. but with Toriel, she’d always be there, he’d always be able to talk to him.

Another reason is the fandom side of these ships. most of the Chans/Frans shippings always turn out nsfw, and gross. Soriel is a pure sfw ship, and you hardly find any nsfw of it (not that its bad if you make soriel nsfw, it isnt pedophilia or anything so thats not bad)

Ookayy, I’m done with my edgy Tumblr rant, I honestly wonder about what people see in ships these days. but oh well, I honestly really hope I can get people to change their minds, and think before they decide to ship something... oh well, if you didnt like this, please dont send hate. if you want to, you can send a unagresive ask to me, explaining another reason why Soriel would be bad. please dont be like “no. I hate soriel.” without giving a reason, please.
