he's just such a GOOD person, yknow? likes, yes he has flaws (everyone does, no one is perfect, not even fictional characters), and does he always say the right thing? absolutely not. is his heart always in the right place? YES!

and it's kind of why luke and julie are 'perfect' for each other when you think about it? because the two of them are always trying to do the right thing, and care so deeply about people (example being: julie literally loving the boys back from the brink of jolting out of existence). but where luke is reckless in his love and bravery, julie sort of takes a moment to look at the big picture –– and then just do the reckless thing anyway. like pls. she just accepts the boys into her life and home after like 24s hfjdk.

BUT ALSO!!! i really think luke picks who he loves & trusts carefully? (which is why the whole bobver thing is So Bad (but also he had ever right to be angry about it even without that and i will die on this hill even though it's not really a hill it's the truth its fine i've ranted about this in my draft but i digress)) so it's like, once you're part of his lil family you are part of it for life –– and then also death. like. you literally can't get rid of him. flynn & luke 🤝 being the crazy glue of best friends.

i kinda lost my train of thought here and idk what im saying anymore. though for every mean or bad take on his character i have decided i will just love him more 😌i just think luke is neat and he loves his friends and he loves music but if you made him choose i do genuinely think he'd pick his friends 🤷🏻‍♀️
