Pairing: VIXX Ravi x Leo x Reader

Sorry for the long wait. A lot of stuff has Ben going on and I haven't been in the right frame of mind, so I put off working on requests because I felt they would be substandard (not that this is any good anyways). But I am finally starting toCloselyagain and hopefully will be a little quicker in getting stuff out.

Ever since you were young you knew of soulmates

Everybody was born with a small tattoo on their wrist, that was black and white until you touched your soulmate, making it bloom with beautiful colours

But you

You had two tattoos

They were on the same wrist, entwined together

From afar, they could easily be mistaken as one tattoo, but up close it was obvious that it was two different ones, the styles slightly different

It wasn't unheard of for a person to have more than one soulmate

Your parents had reassured you of that straight away

And that was cool, but you were a kid and had much more important things to worry about than soulmates, such as getting the good box of colouring pencils and figuring out your multiples of seven

As you got older though, you got curious about your tattoos

So you took to the internet and found various forums where people talked about having multiple soulmates, and their experiences in polyamorous relationships

And some of the stories were...really cute actually

And for the first time in your life you wanted to find your soulmates

But alas, it had to be put on hold, because you had must got a new job and you needed to focus on that

So off you go to Seoul, the idea of soulmates pushed to the back of your mind by the excitement and nervousness that comes with big changes

Your new job is as part of a management team at an entertainment label, Jellyfish

Nothing exciting, just an assistant of an assistant really

But the people are nice, the pay is good and the dress code is reasonable, so you are happy

Well, you are happy when you aren't sleep deprived and carrying a large stack of papers, running five minutes late to a meeting because you had to run up four flights of stairs thanks to the lift being under maintenance

So it is no surprise that when you bump into someone you only shout a "sorry!" over your shoulder before rushing off

And it's also no surprise that you are too distracted to notice part of your wrist start blooming with the most beautiful shades of blue

But someone does notice something

Leo and Ravi are sitting on a bench in the practice room together one afweren't, having a break from practising

Leo is pulling of his sweatshirt, hot from practice, when Ravi suddenly grabs his wrist

"Your met our soulmate and didn't tell me?" Ravi whines, which catches the attention of the rest of the group who are quick to gather round the two

You see, Ravi and Leo are soulmates

Ravi has a beautiful blue flower on his wrist, and Leo has one in red

And both of them have a matching one still yet to be coloured

The two have been together since before vixx even debuted, during their trainee days when they discovered they were soulmates

And all this time they have been patiently waiting the third and final person to join them

So of course, all of the group are going to be excited, thinking Leo found that other person

But Leo just looks down at his wrist in confusion, and upon seeing his fully coloured tattoos shows more shock than his members have ever seen on his face

"But I didn't...? Oh."

That is when he tells them how he bad bumped into a mysterious person earlier that day

Annnd that is when the serious concept kings image vixx has is dropped and they are running round the building looking at the wrist of every single person they come across (well, Leo, Hongbin and N had to be convinced but shh)

By this point you had finished the meeting and were getting a much needed cup of coffee in one of the break rooms when someone skids into the room, bumping into an older woman

The woman laughs it off, asking what he is doing

"What are you up to Sanghyuk?"

"Hi noona! Leo found his soulmate but doesn't know who it is, so we are on a mission to find them"

Hearing soulmates being mentioned, on whim you take a glance at your wrist

Only to drop your mug in shock upon seeing one of the flowers, now with pretty blue petals

Upon hearing the crash, the two at the door turn to face you, "are you OK"'s on the tips of their tongues

But Hyuk suddenly shouts in excitement upon seeing your arm and before you know it you are being dragged through the corridors, with you staring at your tattoo in shock the whole time

You come to a stop in a practice room, and Hyuk kindly asks you to sit down while he gathers the others

Now, you are already in shock, having just found out that you have apparently crossed paths with one of your soulmates

And you only heard Hyuk mention one name, Leo

So you are only expecting to meet one soulmate

It is safe to say that when you see two men walk in holding hands, one skipping along slightly and the other with a soft smile on his (very handsome) face, matching tattoos on show

Well, you are even more in shock, if your hopes turn out to be real

One of the two walk over to you, holds out his hand for a handshake and introduces himself as "Ravi"

But none of you are really focused on introductions, instead staring intently at the tattoos, holding your breath

And when both of them start to colour themselves in, cheers break out in the room and a huge smile breaks across your face

Ravi pulls Leo closer and brings the three of you into a hug

And the other boys trickle out of the practice room to leave the three of you alone to get to know each other

And that is the start of an amazing relationship

At first you feel a little insecure

Here are two amazing boyfriends who had just as amazing a relationship before you turned up, and you aren't quite sure where you fit in yet

But they are quick to make you feel wanted, because you are

Ravi is very vocal about his love for you both

He is the one who says "I love you" first to you, catching you off guard

And from then on he never stops saying it

You also find out he is a little clingy, always putting his chin on your shoulder or an arm round your waist

Leo, who by now is used to it, just takes it with a straight face, just shrugging his shoulders with a small smirk when you beg him for help out of the smothering embrace Ravi has you in

Leo is more subtle in his affections, his actions speaking more than his words

You're thirsty? Suddenly a water bottle is held in front of your face

Stressed? Oh look, now you're on the couch in with an angelic voice whispering in your ear

He is also the type to not talk about his problems though

But you quickly learn his tells for when he is stressed or upset, thanks to observation and Davis guidance

You and Leo are the first to hear anything Ravi produces

And it is the same with anything Leo does

You are their very own hype squad

You and Ravi have so much fun complimenting Leo until he is blushing from head to toe

He is so cute when he is flustered, and you and Ravi find it absolutely adorable

Though you have to watch out because he isn't against flicking your forehead or smacking your areas to get you to stop

Likewise, you and Leo find Ravi the cutest thing ever when he is running and hiding behind one of you while the other catches the "absolutely ginormous" bug and release it outside

There is an inside joke about Ravi being your sugar daddy, because he loves buying you things and treating you, to clothes, jewellery, meals, everything you could want

He just loves to spoil you

He also spoils you with kisses

At first he might be a little shy to initiate physical affection but once he realises you don't mind you better be ready to have swollen lips 24/7

Leo is more reserved with this, instead preferring small, shorter kisses, though he won't say no to make out sessions

Now, of course, the company knows of the relationship, and they are alright with it

They can't stop fate after all

But it is all kept from the public, who don't even know the two men are soulmates, as idols tattoos are usually kept hidden by clothes and makeup

And so dates out and about aren't too common

But when you do go out it is usually somewhere with animals

Animal cafes are probably your most frequented places, because Leo has a love for both cute creatures and coffee and you and Ravi like to exploit that

But dates also consist of the three of you just sitting in the same room, quietly working on your own thing, music playing lowly in the background, one of you singing along under your breath making the other two softly smile

When it comes to cuddling, whether sleeping or not, you are in the middle, no doubt about it

With both men facing you, arms draped across your body and legs all tangled together

This is because not only do they both like being the big spoon, but it is also a way of silently reassuring you that they love you as much as they love each other

And you can be assured that if Leo doesn't want to get out of bed, you and Ravi aren't getting out either because he will drag you back down with him (unless you bribe him with coffee)

The three of you have matching rings, beautiful pieces that Ravi bought because they reminded him of your tattoos

Other than that though, matching things aren't really, well, a thing

Not that it really matters of course

Of course, teasing from the other members happened a lot before you joined the relationship, and even more so after you did

Hyuk likes to try and take responsibility for your relationship and uses that as an excuse for everything, whether he is trying to get one of you to buy him food or trying to get out of trouble (a well placed smack courtesy of Leo usually shuts him up though)

N acts like a mother, cooing over how cute you all are and he even tries to give you the talk

"Why are you only gelling me this?"

"I've already lectured the boys on keeping it safe and keeping it out of the dorm, at least while we are there"

Ken is just load and annoying in general

And if you look closely you can see a rare Hongbin silently judging in the background

When the boys have promotions or are on tour etc, you all keep up via texts and video chats

"Are you eating?" and "Are you sleeping?" are regularly asked questions during these times

Though on the rare occasions when you have time off, you will join them, cheering them on from backstage

And when it's an LR concert, it is safe to say that you and N are amongst the crowd of fan and cheering the loudest

Of course they support you as much as you do them

Anything you do, anything you dream of doing; they will be backing you every step of the way

You want to sing? Say hello to your new vocal coach Leo

Want to open a cafe? Suddenly vixx are volunteered as taste testers

You simply want a pet? Ravi is helping you find a little brother or sister for Butt

After a while, your relationship is revealed to the public

At first, a picture of the three of yours wrists together is posted onto one of the vixx social media profiles, not saying who it was or anything

So of course Starlights went crazy making up theories of who had found their soulmates

Was it one member? Two? Were all three soulmates members of vixx?

Everyone who knows the truth lowkey enjoys seeing this madness in the kpop community

But it is finally revealed when Ravi all nonchalantly posts a photo of you, Leo and Butt snuggled on the couch, soulmate tattoos able to be seen if you look closely

Starlights take it really well, though some do joke about their ships being dead, but overall you get so much support

And everybody is just happy for the three of you

Because although your relationship isn't shown off that much, due to the boys being idols and having to be professional and all that; whenever the three of you do show each other off, people can just see how much you care for each other

(Also, when people find out the Leo and Ravi have been together since debut, they go crazy and petition for the two to become actors)

so for those of y’all who read my sf9 intro post, i’m sorry bc this is prob gonna be a lot longer I”M SORRY how can you guys ask me to do this for my faves

vixx (synonymous with “concept kings”) stands for “visual, voice, value in excelsis,” which is meant to say that vixx has the best vocals/visuals and all that but after 5 years many people think that the “v” in vixx also stands for violence oops. before debut, they were in a survival show called mydol with a few other trainees. under jellyfish entertainment, vixx debuted may 24, 2012 with the song superhero. since then, vixx have been known as concept-dols because of the way they incorporate themes into their teasers, outfits, mv and go way beyond in terms of expressing these particular concepts.

one thing you have to know about vixx is that they’re relatively popular but somewhat overlooked because they create music and concepts that they are interested in, which don’t necessarily overlap with what the majority of the kpop consumer body wants to see or hear. but they don’t care. they are happy making music and are grateful for all of their fans, no matter how small or big their fanbase is.

The Future of the Trainees

These are just some opinions about the trainees whose position evaluation stages were already aired, their skills and their chances of passing the elimination/making it into the final group.

Playing with Fire

Kang Dongho (Rank 20 -> Rank 8)

Chances - He really went up in ranks a lot and is now the third Nu’est member to get into the Top 11. And honestly, I am not sure if he can keep this place till the next elimination. First of all, I don’t think neither Mnet nor Korean viewers want three Nu’est members to debut in the final group. I don’t think they want any three trainees from any company to debut, two seems to be the max (as evidenced by last season with the Jellyfish girls). And considering, that Jonghyun is practically a guaranteed pick at this moment, I guess that it’s a fight between Minhyun and Dongho for the second spot. Minhyun has been in the Top 11 all weeks but when and at the moment his rank is higher than Dongho’s, but I think Dongho is getting more attention from Mnet. I am not sure whether that attention is good or not because the editing of Dongho in the last episode could go either way (I don’t know Korean but I think I got a gist of the conflict by translating the subtitles). On one hand it seemed like netizens liked the tough guy image from the previous episodes so its return might be a way of keeping him in the high ranks. On the other hand viewers might find it a bit much and turn their backs on him. I don’t know which way Mnet wants it to go, I don’t know how netizens will react, but what I do know is that Minhyun is obviously more on the pretty boy side and has a less confrontational personality which is probably more up the alley for people watching this show. Dongho will obviously make it into the Top 22 but I wouldn’t count on him getting into the final group.

Skills – Dongho has a beautiful voice and did wonderfully in the ‘Playing with Fire’ performance. He also has amazing stage presence but that should be a given considering how much experience he has on stage. His dancing skills aren’t spectacular but, considering the fact that he’s probably aiming for the main vocal position, they don’t really need to be.

Lee Daehwi (Rank 7 -> Rank 10)

Chances - Daehwi’s rank keeps falling but he remains in the Top 11 which is pretty amazing if you take into account that Hyungseob’s and Hyunbin’s ranks have fallen a lot more following the hate that they received. It’s hard to tell if Daehwi is slowly slipping down or if that’s just his place now and he will remain there until the end of the show. And neither of these scenarios guarantees him a place in the final group. I used to think that Daehwi would get into the group for sure that it’s kinda hard for me to imagine it without him. There is of course the chance of him going up in ranks and I do think that that’s what Mnet really wants, considering the fact that not only did they show his ‘humble’ side in the last episode but they kept showing him cutely reacting to different stages and he was present in the previews and the BTS videos. It does beg the question of what the hell Mnet was thinking in the previous episodes if they wanted him to be in the final group. I don’t know if they miscalculated or just didn’t think it through but they are definitely working hard to salvage the situation. And again, considering the fact that he is still in the Top 11 (and is one of only five other trainees who’s been there every week), they might be able to. Plus Daehwi did an amazing job in the Position Evaluation (just like the rest of the teammates – I would’ve accepted anyone being #1) and people seemed to really like the scene of him blowing the confetti away (although it probably didn’t look as pretty on the stage) because I have seen a ton of GIFs of this moment and Mnet replayed it a bunch of times.

Skills – I keep forgetting that Daehwi is one of the youngest contestants – he looks that good and professional on stage. I personally really like his voice (especially in his ‘Paper Hearts’ cover) and appreciate how stable he always sounds. His specialty isn’t dancing but he’s obviously very good at it and is very fast at picking up new choreographies which is a nice bonus. He’s such a well-rounded performer at his age; it would be a shame if he doesn’t make it in.

Jung Sewoon (Rank 13 -> Rank 15)

Chances – Sewoon’s rank keeps fluctuating near the cut off line for the Top 11 and he did once make it in so it’s not really a big deal that he fell a little since last week. Especially if you take in the fact that he actually got screentime in this episode, got to show off his leadership skills, not only sang beautifully but played guitar during the evaluation and won first place in his group. (I did say that I would’ve accepted any member as #1 but I was super happy it was him.) So there’s a pretty decent chance that Sewoon will make it into the Top 11 at the next elimination. I wish I was more certain but there are just around five trainees that you can expect in the Top 11 for sure and then like 20 other guys who could potentially take up the other ranks and it’s hard to tell who it’s gonna be. He did have a high ranking even before he got a decent amount of screentime so if I had to bet I would say that he will make it into the Top 11 at the next elimination. As for making it into the final group – I think he’s always going to be around the cut-off line so it’s gonna be that last voting that really decides his fate.

Skills - I love the way he sings. When Sewoon plays the guitar, he just looks like he is really enjoying himself and he doesn’t care if he sounds great or not even though he does in fact sound great. I was pleasantly surprised to see that he fits into an idol performance as well. And he’s a good enough dancer, at least enough that he fits in with the other trainees.

Choi Minki (Rank 19 -> Rank 18)

Chances – I always get upset when I see that some members are obviously being completely ignored when they show a group practicing. You could barely tell that Minki was even present there. They showed the Dongho vs. Sewoon confrontation, they showed Daehwi giving his input and they showed Minki sitting in the corner being silent. They had time to show him suggesting something or agreeing with something or even making some joke but they very obviously decided against it. And again I think it’s because they don’t need that many trainees from one company being near the top. They are paying quite a bit attention to the other three members (which is already pretty impressive) so they feel like they have to make the fourth one lay low (they are also doing the same with Donghyun from BNM). And honestly, I think I understand that. Fine, they don’t have to pay much attention to Minki, they don’t have to play up the drama around him, they don’t have to show us his struggles, but not airing a single scene where he talks is a bit too much (and I am going to complain about other trainees getting the same treatment). Especially considering that their team had only 4 members. However, his low rank in comparison to the other Nu’est members could help him. It might get the fans to notice that he needs more votes, so I actually think that he could have a higher rank by the next elimination. And again he’s obviously making it into the Top 22, but I don’t really think that he has a chance of getting into the final group.

Skills – I though he was the weakest vocal in his group but he had such amazing stage presence (which again partially comes from years of experience on stage) that it didn’t matter and I could’ve seen him being #1. Overall, Minki’s a good dancer and has stable vocals so he’s also pretty well-rounded.

PS. I loved how they made sure that they all had something memorable about them – Dongho being the main vocal, Sewoon playing the guitar, Daehwi with his confetti and Minki with his sunglasses. It was really cute especially considering that they were all in the Top 20 and didn’t need to remind anyone who they were but still did anyway.

no one asked for it but here is my top 11 so far (in no particular order, i just want them to make it):

park jihoon/maroo: i want him as center tbh like he fits the idol image, people say we just stan him for his face but like no, yes he’s good looking but he also has so much talent!! beatboxing, popping (dancing in general), he has good vocals and can rap too!!

park woojin/brandnew music: what else can i say other than he’s my fave brandnew trainee!! i always get hooked on the dancers (half of my top 11 are dancers oops) and this boy just never fails to exceed my expectations

kang daniel/mmo: what can i say i’m a sucker for bboys not only that but he’s talented af (a rapper that can sing)!! he wasn’t even center but his sorry sorry performance got me shook!! also a cute lil peach and a very supportive dad to little woojin

ong seongwoo/fantagio: four dancers in a row wow but definitely one of my faves, his predebut pics and videos always get me lmao also him as sorry sorry center got me @fantagio why wasn’t he included in astro wtf

lee woojin/media line: okay none of y’all can deny that this baby doesn’t have talent like he’s 15yo (i feel old) and he can do all that, i’m just worried about him going through puberty at this point bc voice cracks and voice changes

jung sewoon/starship: our talented ponyo!! another weakness of mine are guitarists, combine that with good vocals and i’m sold

takada kenta/star road: okay this boy came out of nowhere like i would see gifs of him on here and i would queue it since its p101 related but when they showed that scene where he was teaching sungwoo/him that was it i got hooked, i got interested and now he’s here probably permanently

lee daehwi/brandnew music: my mushroom child, another trainee that fits the idol image!! he’s overflowing with talent, like singing, dancing, even composing!! sad to see his rank dropping tho

woo jinyoung/hf music: my current fave rapper out of all the trainees like he’s cute and chill but his talent is just wow please acknowledge this boy and his talent

kim yongguk/chun: i didn’t understand all the hype around him being a half-er but omg did this boy catch my attention in ep.6 with his talent, why didn’t i know of him before wtf

yoon jisung/mmo: this kid wouldn’t have made my top 11 if some of my faves didn’t get eliminated tbh but he has such a bright personality that its so hard to ignore him, also people should stop generalizing him as a meme and start recognizing his hard work

kim jaehwan/individual trainee: vocal god no.1, i’ve been on the lookout for him ever since the initial evaluation like he got me with that adele cover and just continues to amaze me with every performance

park woodam/the vibe label: vocal god no.2, being the svt stan that i am i was ready to go mad if any of them butchered mansae but this kid killed it like he’s actually this season’s parellel to yoo yunjeong, pls love this child

kim samuel/brave: okay lets be real i’m a hella hardcore carat ofc i’m gonna give love to this child, tbh the only reason he’s not in my top 11 is that it would be hypocritical of me (i don’t want debuted idols to be part of it) but this boy is a definite all rounder, from singing to dancing and even rapping!!

yoon heeseok/jellyfish: i didn’t expect anything from him but his call me baby cover performance was way beyond my expectations

kim taemin/han ahreum: okay tbh he only caught my attention bc of his re-eval video, our second meme but (based on ep.6) i feel like he has a lot of potential

yeo hwanwoong/rbw: i always see posts about him in the produce 101 tag (i religiously go through it every night don’t judge me) but he did such a good job at being center in ep.6 and just wow now i’m interested

lee euiwoong/yuehua: this cutie with a reversal body and voice?? to be very honest i stanned all of yuehua at the beginning but now he’s the only yuehua kid remaining sorry justin idk i think a part of me sees potential and talent in him

eliminated trainees that i was supporting:

kwon hyeop/maroo: same case with yuehua trainees tbh like i stanned the maroo kids since the beginning, its sad that one of them dropped and this kid got eliminated, he’s actually talented imo but mnet sucks at distributing screen time

ha minho/the vibe label: i’m not gonna lie i really liked him before all the scandals about him happened, its such a shame that that overshadowed his talents but i admit he was in the wrong

KPop-ing In Seoul

Hello everyone! If you are reading this right now it only means that you have read the Part 1 of my blog all about my trip to Seoul last year. I originally planned for it to have two parts which is the pre-planning and another one for the trip itself. But alas! Sloth that I am, I keep pushing back the days for writing the part 2 and so here we are, 4 months after the trip and I haven’t finished writing the rest of part 2. Although, I did start on writing about the Day 1 of that trip which is mainly about visiting Kpop entertainment company buildings and just Kpop-ing all day. So instead of writing all of my 9-day trip (which can be suuuuppper long) in one entry, I’ll upload them one at a time. I originally planned for this to be super detailed however aside from I think you guys wouldn’t want to read all of my blabber it’ll also take me longer to finish a detailed one. So, I decided to just talk about all the places we went to with a bit of instructions on how to get there, where to find places and tips and maybe trivia as well about these places. I will also be adding links of the blogs and sites that we used as guide especially for directions in going to places. Our itinerary was planned “thematically” which means that in each day we went to places which seemed similar or close to each other. I’m not saying you follow the same thing. You can plan your trip however you want. I will be including links of other blogs that we referred to for this trip so go and check them out and I hope you find it as helpful as much as I did.

Kpop Entertainment Companies Day

The day after we arrived in Korea, visiting entertainment companies was the first thing we did. We decided to do this first because we the week that we went to Korea was the Chuseok season. Chuseok is usually celebrated for 3 days; pre-chuseok, chuseok day, post chuseok. During these days most establishments will be closed and for those that are open regular working hours does not apply. And we thought that maybe idols and artist would go to their hometowns with these 3 days and we might not catch a glimpse of them if we go on those days. We went to 6 company buildings that day; JYP, Cube (old building), FNC, SM, J.Tune Camp (old building) and Jellyfish Entertainment. All of these places are in Gangnam area so you can just walk around or take the bus to find them. Links of addresses and directions are below:

Experience:

JYP & Encounter with Day6

This is the first place we went to. We got a bit lost along the way cause we got confused of the landmarks but with the help of a few locals we we’re able to get there before lunch time. The building was smaller than I thought it would be although it’s very easy to spot because of the huge ass JYP sign and all the faces of JYP artists on it. There was a construction going on in front of the building, apparently it was the popular Dunkin Donuts store that Cube and JYP artists like to go to. After taking pictures in front of the building my friend and I decided to stay there for about 15 minutes just to see if we’ll spot any idol. We sat outside this clothing store right in front of the building and not more than about 5 minutes I noticed this guy wearing a black cap and black mask. He looked suspicious because duh, why would you wear a cap and a mask unless you are someone who wants to conceal your identity right? The guy turned his head in our direction right before entering the building and then it hit me, it was Day6’s drummer Dowoon. I totally freaked out as I am a fan of Day6. Since we didn’t actually see Dowoon’s face I asked my friend to stay a little longer on where we we’re because I wanted to make sure that it was Dowoon and maybe we’d have a chance to see the rest of Day6. After about 10 minutes the guy who I thought was Dowoon came back out carrying a pair of drumsticks but still wearing the same mask and cap. It confirmed my suspicion that it was him because as far as I know JYP only has 2 bands right now, Wonder Girls and Day6, unless that guy was a trainee. We followed where he went to and tried to low-key spazz and we saw him enter this basement room on the same building. There was a glass door and it has words JYP Entertainment written on it so it’s probably a practice room for their artists. My friend and I didn’t get to take photos of Dowoon cause everything happened too fast. After that my friend and I got hungry so we ate lunch at this salad bar just right in front of JYP building. Their salads are good! We recommend it. While we we’re eating we spotted another member of Day6! It was my bias, YoungK. He had red hair that time and he went to the same basement room Dowoon went too. After we finished eating we spotted a van stop in front of the basement room and viola came out 3/5 Day6 members and got into the car. We saw Dowoon, YoungK and Jae. Before getting on the van, YoungK suddenly came half-running into our direction and for a second there I seriously thought he was heading to the same salad bar and I was just sitting there looking at him panicked, not knowing what to do LOL. Apparently he was heading to the convenience store right beside the salad bar. We waited for him to come out and had our camera phones ready when he came out I called his name and he turned to me, smiled and bowed a bit. We also made a friend while hanging around JYP. She’s Chinese and she doesn’t know how or where to go to find other Kpop company buildings so she tagged along with us.

CUBE Entertainment

Unfortunately, it seems like CUBE moved to a different building which we didn’t know the address off. The old building they used to occupy is just really close to JYP’s they are practically neighbors. Since my friend and I don’t really stan anyone from CUBE we didn’t bother to look up their new address.

FNC Entertainment

FNC’s building is just a matter of a walking distance from where JYP and CUBE is. They have two buildings in between a tiny road. It’s easy to spot but we didn’t hang around too long because like what I said the road’s pretty tiny so it can feel make you feel a little claustrophobic to be there. Although there’s a convenience store in front of their main building and if you wanna hang around to spot an artist from FNC you can stay there.

SM Training Center– SM’s building is very close to where FNC is. Unfortunately, that day the building was closed. That’s what it said when we looked up their address on Google maps that day. I guess it meant that there will be no office for staffs and management? I’m not really sure. We just got our pictures taken outside the building and decided to leave cause it didn’t seem like anyone was inside the building. However if you do decide to hang around the area to wait for your fave SM artist there’s a park right in front of the building. You can find a good spot there and wait.

Actually, SM has two buildings. This is the old one (I guess) and there’s another one which bigger and has a coffee shop at the ground floor. We we’re quite confused about this one and wondered if this is the building that their artists regularly visit. Although, when I watched that episode of My SM TV with NCT Dream as guests and this building as shown for a bit. For this building it is difficult to spot the artists though because they have an underground parking area and I think they have an entrance/exit there too so I bet that’s how the artists enter the building.

SM Town at COEX Artium

The SM Town is part of the COEX Mall located at Gangnam-gu area. It’s easy to find because it’s a huge establishment. We took a cab going there cause our Chinese friend got tired of walking and she offered to pay for the cab fee which was just 3,000 Won. You can use your T-Card to pay for it. If you are an SM stan then this is THE place to be aside from the SME company buildings. The atrium has 6 floors. Check out the photo below for what each floor has to offer.

Let me just warn you ahead of time that this place will have you throwing your money all over the place cause it practically has all the merch of your fave SM artist, from albums, clothes, posters and even cosmetics. They also got a coffee shop that offers treats and drinks so you can lounge there and rest a bit. By the way, their baristas and staff have on point visuals so yeah, you might want to feast over that too. LOL. I got a crush on one of their staff who wasn’t just good-looking but super sweet too. He helped us by giving us directions for our next destination. That was a K-Drama moment for me right there. Hahaha.

JTune Camp

My friend is a huge MBLAQ fan so she wanted to visit Jtune camp. At this point there’s just the two of us cause our Chinese friend decided to go back to her hotel. When you look up Jtune’s office online the result would be the address Seoul Metropolis Gangnam-gu Samseong-dong Office 44-10 Soam Building #501. This building was very difficult to find and we spent a long time trying to figure out where it is. When we got to Samseong-dong we had to depend on Google Maps to get us to this building but we didn’t find any building with a Jtune Camp sign on it. We ended up asking the locals around and the building ended up to be this ordinary looking building. My friend and I we’re really doubtful it if was the right building at first but we decided to enter the building and find out for ourselves. The main door was closed cause it was already around 7 pm when we got there. We saw that there was a back door which was open and we decided to enter through that and got on the elevator. I WOULDN’T SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME IF YOU’RE GOING TO LOOK FOR YOUR FAVE IDOLS CAUSE THIS CAN BE QUITE DANGEROUS. Remember that you’re in a foreign land so always think of your safety and I have to admit our action can come off a bit of sasaeng-ish. However, my friend was desperate cause we spent so much time looking for it. So we went to the 5th floor of the building cause online that’s what says where Jtune is but there was no one there and it looked creepy af. We decided to just give up and went back down. When we left the building there was this ahjussi that greeted us, it seemed like he worked at the building and he then asked us “MBLAQ?” he figured we we’re there for them. He didn’t speak English so I had to use up all of the Korean I know to talk to him LOL. Anyway, according to him, Jtune isn’t in that building anymore for a long time. It seems like there are still fans that go there though so he wasn’t surprised about us being there. The problem is that he also doesn’t know where their new building is and we told him that the only address found online for Jtune is that building’s address. So if you are a fan of MBLAQ and Madtown, you have to look up their new address.

Jellyfish Entertainment & Encounter with VIXX’s Ravi – Our last stop was Jellyfish Entertainment. From Samseong-dong we followed the address and directions from the blog I found online. Since it was already late in the evening and Jellyfish’s building is a bit difficult to find. When we got there the area was really quite. The building’s main door was made of glass so we can see from outside that the light was one but it didn’t seem like anyone was inside. We just took photos and sat in front of the building to catch our breath before leaving. Our bodies we’re tired from all the walking that day and we haven’t eaten anything since lunch so we sat there talking about where to eat dinner. Every now and then and employee would enter or exit the building. Suddenly I noticed that there was a tall guy inside the building heading for the door. I can’t see his face cause the glass door was a bit tinted so I can only make out his silhouette. I can make out that he’s tall and he’s wearing baggy clothes. My fangirl instincts kicked in and as he got closer to the door I saw that it was VIXX’s Ravi. I shook my friend’s arm and told her that it’s Ravi. When the door finally opened it was indeed Ravi. Once again I was too stunned to do anything so I just sat there calling his name while my friend grabbed her phone and tried to take a photo of him. Ravi was about to go to the parking area when he spotted my friend taking a photo he immediately turned around and went back inside the building. I think we caught him off guard or something and he was probably as surprised as we we’re thus his reaction. A few minutes after that a staff came out of the building and got into this jeep type car. He parked the car right in front of the building and went back inside the building without turning the car off. My friend and I figured out that Ravi doesn’t want to be bothered so we decided so walk away from the building so that he won’t feel uncomfortable. We then saw Ravi come out of the building together with the same staff and got on the car.

Whew! That’s 5 pages of Microsoft word right there. Hahaha. Anyway, there you go. That’s Day 1 of our 9-day trip. I guess this one will be the most helpful (?) too and what most KPop fans will be needing when Kpop-ing in Seoul. I hope I can write about the rest of our trip soon. Once they’re done I’ll just update them and hope it helps you on your own trip! Thanks for reading.
