We finally made it to the last episode of Pokemon Evolutions, and I think it was the most beautiful way to end the short series. First off, we finally get to see Green animated and voiced (besides, of course, in Pokemon Masters). This was historic and I absolutely adored her personality in this. I loved how we see her tracking the area where Mewtwo will be seen and then absolutely wrecking the living daylights out of a whole bunch of trainers. I loved the little competition that sprung up between Trace and Green seeing them dart through the cave dodging and battling the Pokemon there it actually reminded me a bit of the first episode of Pokemon Generations that had Red's Pikachu traveling through all those various locales. Seeing the kids maneuver around the Pokemon, using their own Pokemon to ride on it was great to see. This episode had such a whimsical feel to it compared to the previous episodes' more serious nature and honestly, it was refreshing. This episode absolutely didn't need to have the same serious tone and I'm glad they didn't try to shoehorn it in. The part where Green thought she was catching Mewtwo made me holler. Poor Elaine. Also speaking of Elaine, I'm so happy they made her dark-skinned. First, we got dark-skinned Victor and now Elaine? Hell Yeah! And the battle...seeing two female protagonists duke it out was just so amazing. Mewtwo showed how truly powerful it really is in that fight. I also loved how they kept the part about wanting Green to make Mewtwo and Elaine her Pokemon. It was so hilarious and seeing Pikachu, Elaine and Mewtwo's expressions made me holler. Also props for this episode for showing a more comedic side to Mewtwo. We always see Mewtwo in an angsty, serious context so seeing it just as dumbfounded as Pikachu and Elaine was refreshing to see. Then the final part of the episode I think was a really great sendoff for the mini-series. Seeing Green comforted by Oak that her work wasn't in vain thanks to the power of community research. Seeing her befriend Trace and Elaine and act as a big sister to the two of them. A nice monologue talking about the wonders of Pokemon with shots of the various gen 1 mons, and even seeing Blue and Red. Hearing Oak talk about Meltan and Melmetal over the phone. I think this was the best way to end the Pokemon Evolutions series

Pokemon Legends Ideas
speaking of pokemon though...
ideas for the various Pokemon Legends remake line:
Pokemon Legends: The Ancient Jungle/Mew
Based on an ancient jungle environment where fossil and dinosaur pokemon thrive an abound, the environment is thick muggy jungle and the lore of the game focuses on the discovery of the ancient pokemon Mew perhaps by following clues related to the origins of Ditto as potentially related to Mew, side stories about the origins of the legendary bird pokemon (also, even though Lugia is gen 2, perhaps he could be included here since hes the supposed leader of the bird trio? and the Johto game would focus on Ho-oh and the Beasts anyway) Mewtwo obivously wouldn’t feature but that’s fine he doesn’t need to, could easily have stories about Meltan and Melmetal instead, who are ancient pokemon
Pokemon Legends: The Burned Tower/Ho-oh
Based on a more traditional ancient Japanese style retelling of the origins of Ho-oh and the Legendary Beast trio, see the original tower burned, maybe finally see who exactly were the three original pokemon lost in the flames? with side stories about Celebi’s ancient forest and it’s travels through time but also GIVE ME UNOWN LORE BLEASE
Pokemon Legends: The Great Meteor/Jirachi
Goes into the ancient stories of the draconid people introduced in the delta episode of the ORAS remakes, Primal Ancient Kyogre and Groudon, at the peak of their power, a time where meteors constantly fell upon the earth and the first ever Mega-Evolution of Rayquaza, from the wish the first lorekeeper made upon the rainbow stone (Maybe this was originally just Jirachi themselves), plenty of side story content in the form of the Regi’s (Including Regigigas and Regidraco/Regieleki) and the twin Latias/Latios
Pokemon Legends: Arceus, duh
(but I can hope it’s not JUST Arceus, ples give some spotlight to the tons of underused in lore legendaries this gen, Darkrai, Cresselia, Shaymin, Manaphy, HEATRAN)
Pokemon Legends: The First Dragon/Kyurem/??? Pokemon that might have a different name then Kyurem
OBVIOUSLY gonna be about the first dragon, the true singular form of the original dragon that split into Kyurem, Reshiram and Zekrom and the conflict between the early factions of humans hinted from the story of black and white, give the Justice trio (Terrakion, Cobalion, Virizion, Keldeo) some side story content in the form of being active in those ancient human conflicts, Victini lore, the weather trio representing the wilderness of nature back in those times, Genesect very likely wouldn’t be a thing, but Meloetta could
Pokemon Legends: The Ultimate Weapon/Zygarde
Huge potential here for a pokemon game set during the great kalosian WAR, view the original stories of King AZ and the unique floette, how their story happened, give Zygarde some sort of role or function as antagonist against those who would create the weapon out of a captured Zerneas/Yveltal in it’s role as balancer of the natural order, easy easy side content stories, flesh out Diancie’s connection to the Carbinks, go into the story of that huge crystal sundial of Anistar City, Hoopa gots some cool stuff, and Volcanion could even have a role as something cool
Pokemon Legends: Ultra Space/Necrozma
While they could focus on Magearna for this game, since Magearna is the only pokemon with some Ancient Lore from within the region itself attached to it from this gen, I fell like Sun and Moon’s fancy legends game would actually be better served by exploring much deeper into the role of the Ultra Space, you get glimpses of the alien worlds when visiting the ultra beasts natural habitats, and you get the main Necrozma based city in ultraspace
Modern Alola is actually already very traditional, already holding fast to ancient observations and traditions that going back to plain olden times alola I feel wouldn’t do as much? Esp cuz all the interesting stuff back then the aura and totem Pokémon, all happened because of Necrozma’s fall into the world from Ultra Space
I think the intro would be best served as starting in the distant past of Alola sure, but then Necrozma falls out of Ultra Space, rips open a wormhole, and our protagonist is then Sucked Into it and their journey is throughout the cosmos of the space inbetween and giving legendary like lore to the actual Ultra Beasts themselves, Lunala and Solgaleo and Cosmog/Cosmoem originate from here anyway, so they could still be included in this story as our way back, perhaps as our original ally in the fight to stop Necrozma from devouring all the light of our world in the travels through ultra space
Marshadow and Zeraora should get some obvious love as well for sure
Pokemon Legends: The Darkest Day/Eternatus
So it’s true that we have a clear once a time story with the darkest day event from Eternatus’s history
but funnily enough, I kinda always figured that that “Darkest day” was actually Necrozma’s doing that got falsely attributed to Eternatus, since yknow, in eating of the light of the world, the day would actually darken, and doesn’t Eternatus look REALLY like something that popped out of an Ultra Wormhole? really makes you think...certainly would be a hell of a coincedence
On the flipside for “okay but what else would they do in ancient galar”, I feel like if they did do a Galar Legends game, I think a pokemon King Arthur type legendary story would be very cool, just legit make a pokemonized King Arthur/Calyrex story and we would go Nuts over it
sooo, Pokemon Legends: The Old Kingdom/Calyrex
obviously Calyrex and his steeds would be the main focus of this ancient tale with some sprinklings of Zacian/Zamazenta, but really when you glean through the ancient stories hidden in the galar, more of it focuses on the Acnient Kings of the galar region, and really Eternatus already got explored enough in the actual galar games anyway, give me the Dark Hidden Lore of Galar
but again, still some very cool side content with Zarude and Urshifu at least and perhaps maybe a tad more of the cuckoo galarian bird trio? make it tie all the way back to Legends Kanto game somehow? Ancient bird rivalry between twin trios of legendary birds would be a neat thing to explore
though how neat would it be if they actually tied all fo the ancient apolcalyptic stories from across the regions into one connected story?
in Hoenn it was that a great meteor threatened to destroy the planet so person wishes on a falling shiny rock to make the apocalypse go away, SunMoon has Necrozma darkening the sky and eating the light and when they got shattered it caused powerful shiny rocks to coalesce out of the sky, SwordShield had twin kings wish upon a magic shiny rock to make the darkest day go away
hey wait a minute, seeing a pattern there...
wonder if the great war of kalos old was also fought under some sky darkening event? and if it also involved the magical power of some shiny rock? and each region’s story is just their personal twist on the same ancient event, in the land of old, when all regions were once one...
what if the ancient conflict in Black/White’s history was actually the same war from kalos’s history? And it was actually a war between Unova and Kalos? Same war from two different sides of the conflict

Shutter, what the hell? her mind is stable and she doesn't hate herself in the fateverse. why do you want her to hate herself?
She hated herself in the MB timeline because the Eltnams were outcasts due to Zepia becoming the TATARI, and eventually she hated herself for becoming a vampire like him.
What was NOT a part of that was where she was a super genius that altered her brain to run multiple processes all at once, causing her to have a very distinct personality and Spock-like mannerisms.
She had trouble dealing with her feelings because she had remodeled herself for overthinking, which made her appear emotionless outside but very conflicted inside. Sometimes this was portrayed with a mostly neutral face but always with a small giveaway such as a tiny slant in her eyebrows or a moment of hesitation in her dialogue.
She had difficulty meeting new people without being tempted to use her family’s etherlite to download their thoughts and memories into her and thus allowing her to know exactly what to say and do (at the cost of a hilariously huge breach of privacy). All she understood was that people feared the Eltnams, but didn’t understand why they were so nervous about etherlite. This made first meetings with her always something of a terse affair as her logic dictated that this was caused by her having unclear motives. She would always attempt to explain her business first and look serious in order to prove you were meeting her for an important reason and instead appear intimidating.
She prided herself of being able to instantly calculate enormous amounts of data and believed herself overprepared for any eventuality (thus the “this was also within my calculations” joke in Carnival Phantasm), confidently closing her eyes and putting her hand on her chin, with the tiniest of smiles.
So when I saw the expression sheet and it was just… so generic, i couldn’t help but be disappointed. Saber’s expression sheet captures her character quite well. Her neutral face looks focused and battle ready. Her smile is tiny but warm. Her angry look is fierce. Her sad look is a small frown as her eyes dart off to the side as she has difficulty looking people in the eyes.
Sion’s is so fucking generic. Cute smile for neutral expression. Cute winky face, probably when she’s explaining things. Closed eyes and a small frown to show exasperation. Cute sad face. One look over the expression sheet and you can’t discern anything about what she’s like.
She can be happy with herself without changing the core of her character. Melty Blood already did this when she formed the Back Alleyway Alliance with Sacchin and Riesbyfe, and got over her traumas. Don't give me that shit about wanting her to hate herself. Play some Meltan.

okokok that scene with the box reminded me of two things
tmeloetta + cosmog.
now, why?
well, it only really reminded me of meloetta due to primarina's singing. so that's really not much.... (but 👀👀👀 maybe need a primarina to sing. @ lana better be careful if that happens bro)
but, cosmog. why did it remind me of cosmog? well, you remember what the hell faba did with it? took it's power to open a worm-hole, put cosmog into a box and went Zap with his machine.
we don't really know where meltan came from other than that of being related to like.. ditto... do you think they contain ultra aura that someone came use?
i just feel like someone going to open a wormhole, either for good reason (HEY MOHN WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU? ARE YOU DEAD OR LOST IN ANOTHER WORLD) or just to rule over the Gosh Darn World! (hey giovanni you still haven't given up on that right? come back hoe (please don't get out of my sights) (also i actually don't remember what the rockets were going for.. i think it was for necrozama? whatever they still need a wormhole for that))
anyways conclusion: meltan is gonna have a bad time (Probably™)

Alright Let’s Go is imminent
All the previous rants I had about this where left when my last Tumblr account was terminated, so I’ll just fill it back in.
Also I’m feeling the emotions so like
Basically, my general opinion about Pokemon as a whole is very positive. If someone were to ask me what my favorite video game was, I’d just say “Pokemon” because the games are similar enough to each other that I could just group them together, and because I’ve never not liked a Pokemon game I’ve played. I’m a simple man who likes fun and cute girls, and basically every game has done that for me (except for the original gen 2 games and earlier since I’ve never played them and also doubt I’d like them. I do look for good graphics in enjoyment tbh)
Obviously, all of this becomes a problem sometimes, since so many Pokemon “fans” have such stupid reasons for hating some the games... So much of it is just generic “It’s badly designed” or other stuff that’s literally just them saying “I don’t know why I hate it but I might as well try to sound smart” since you can’t just “not like” something nowadays. Not liking something is okay, since people have different wants and opinions, but saying that it’s bad because you don’t like it is such a self-absorbed idea. You’re saying that you’re so well immersed in the specifics of design that you simply going through and feeling negative emotions means that, deep down, it’s a bad game. It’s not.
There’s a serious gap between the consumer and the creator. You can’t just “consume” a bunch of games and then know what makes them good. You can’t just watch a bunch of Youtube videos about game design and know from them either, although that’s a step in the right direction. I don’t know what good game design is either, and I sure as hell won’t pretend that I do.
The biggest, most insulting thing I hear tossed around a lot is that Gamefreak “doesn’t care about their fans,” “is super lazy,” or “isn’t even trying.” This is one of the few times where I’m legitimately insulted on someone else’s behalf, because, even though I’ve never made a game and don’t plan on it, if I did and THAT was the response I got, I would feel like absolute shit. Sure, some Gamefreak executives probably just look at the numbers and do whatever gets them more money, but how the hell can you say that every single person involved in the creation process just doesn’t care, or is just lazy? They’re working on fucking POKEMON for Pete’s sake. How could you not only not enjoy that, but just casually toss something into the wind? That’s also not to mention how fucking ungrateful a lot of fans are. Some people just will not be pleased, and even though you’re trying to find what does, they’ll still hate it no matter what. It’d be aggravating. I’m sure after a while you’d just get used to it, but that obviously doesn’t mean it’s okay.
Speaking of being ungrateful, with regard to Let’s Go, just be glad you’re getting ANY Pokemon this year. I don’t remember it personally, but apparently there wasn’t even close to a major Pokemon game each year. There were spinoffs of course, but you couldn’t get that mainline itch scratched as much as they are now. People are mad that they’re getting a game that they don’t like, and they’d also be mad if they didn’t get any game at all. It’s like a bunch of whiny babies who will flail their arms if they don’t get exactly what they want.
Again, not all fans are like this, but obviously the vocal ones are.
Going into Let’s Go more specifically, I feel like a lot of people’s complaints are just things that MIGHT be able to be interpreted as negatives, so they then go on and say they’re bad. The big one that definitely leaves a bad taste in people’s mouths, is that the whole “gamer” community seems to have such a gigantic vendetta against mobile games. They’re for the casual gamers, not the HARDCORE #GAMERS like us. They’re simple, and I want complexity. They’re popular, and I want to be unique. It’s fucking insufferable. And then, once they hear that their non-mobile franchise is connecting with a mobile aspect, they go buck fucking wild. How DARE they. How DARE they appeal to more people, and do things that are strictly better for business. That sort of ties in with that one new Diablo game, but that hate is a bit more vindicated since (as far as I understand it) it’s REPLACING the console/PC game, instead of being a sort of tie-in like Let’s Go. Phones definitely aren’t made for major games like that, so I can sort of understand it. Hell, I hate using my phone for normal phone things...
Anyways, a lot of the more specific criticisms are either specifically designed to fit the target audience, or are completely subjective.
Talking about Let’s Go’s “Target Audience” is a pretty hefty topic, but it’s still a legitimate one. The game is not made for kids, nor for adults. It’s for people who either don’t know Pokemon and want to learn, or people who just want to play a casual, simple, and fun Pokemon game. GO players can fall into either of those categories.
For the former, things like forcing the player to catch certain types Pokemon to get into a gym, removing items and abilities, and especially only having the first 151 (Plus Meltan, Melmetal, and Alolan forms) help in that. There are over 800 Pokemon now, and many more abilities, moves, items, strategies... That’s so much to learn and adjust to for someone who knows nothing about the games. It’s intimidating, so these games help them adjust slowly to those things so they can delve deeper once they’re ready. Hell, personally, I think they shouldn’t have removed abilities and items for that purpose. They’re usually things that lie in the background, and can usually only be strictly good for you in a specific situation. You don’t usually have to work around them too much, meaning you might as well just keep them in so people can get used to them. Does it make the game bad? Not even close. Just because something could be better doesn’t mean they’re bad.
Then for the latter, things like the game being super easy comes to mind. I’ve NEVER enjoyed grinding. NEVER. I have no idea how some people could enjoy grinding. I will turn the EXP Share off from time to time if I feel like I’m at an okay level, but in general it’s super useful for me to not have to go through the painstaking process of fighting little wild Pokemon over and over again. I played through B2W2 recently, and for some reason I ended up super underleveled in that playthrough, and whenever I felt like I couldn’t beat someone, I had to go searching for Audino, running back and forth and back and forth until I saw shaking grass, and even then it wasn’t guaranteed to be there. Rinse and repeat many more times. That’s not fun, and people who think that is fun are one in a million, and honestly I’m jealous.
Also when it comes to ease, the “Handholding” aspect. That’s the biggest term that’s thrown around nowadays, like it’s the be-all end-all of quality. A lot of the times, it’s not even where people say it is. In Let’s Go, obviously there is handholding, because people want their hands held to adjust to the vast world of Pokemon, as mentioned. But, going back to Gen 7, all of the cutscenes and map markers that point you where to go are NOT handholding. They’re just story. Believe it or not, people IRL will tell you where to go if you need to do something somewhere. That goes into my idea that any kind of story can either be Realistic or Good For Storytelling if they want to be good in quality, and either can be acceptable. But, that’s a rant for another day. Also, I explicitly remember just leaving behind Firered/Leafgreen as a kid because I didn’t know I needed to go to Cinnabar Island, or where to get the tea to give to that one guard. Telling you where you NEED to go is fine because you don’t always HAVE to go straight in that direction. Plus, it’s pretty damn commonplace in other games, so why is it suddenly bad here?
That’s another thought I had about how some people seriously hate some Pokemon games: They’re comparing them to other Pokemon games, not other games as a whole. As far as it seems to me, all Pokemon games are “good games.” Everyone goes to war about which generation is the best, completely forgetting that they all could be so much worse. Like mentioned, a ton of stuff they say is “bad” is very likely just something they don’t like, but either way they’re still so good. My least favorite generation is EASILY Gen 2, but Heartgold and Soulsilver are widely seen as the BEST games, and I can’t blame them. That’s TWO regions! I really only don’t like the Generation because I don’t really like any of the Pokemon, but basically everything else is clearly top-notch, for both a Pokemon game and any old game.
Some other ones:
The “Friendly Rival.” It’s completely subjective whether or not the rival should be an asshole. Saying it’s “bad” and blaming this petty thing for your dislike of the current games is extremely dumb. A lot of the people who say this are just looking for a reason to say something it’s bad, instead of just saying they “don’t like it”
The One-to-one scale replica of the original games. H.. how... How is this a negative? It’s a REMAKE! Sure, it would be nice if they freshened it up a bit, but it’s not necessary! All that “B-but it’s a different console with different needs!” is, again, just you trying to deny that you only don’t like the game. It does have different needs, and they met those needs. The scale of the world isn’t one of those needs.
The two new Pokemon designs (or just any design in general). I’m repeating myself here: You can’t just consume designs and know good designs. Even then, you’re still just trying to sound smart and not emotional. I’ll probably go more in detail about this later, since I’m actually trying to study character design (as much as possible at least) and this is actually where I know some things.
But, I guess the tie-in for all my ideas is that people are angry/worried that Let’s Go will be the future of the franchise. I actually have no idea how fucking stupid those people can be.
It’s not. Not even close.
They EXPLICITLY said that these games are not for hardcore fans, and THEIR game is going to be in 2019. They’re deviating from you people FOR A REASON. THEY KNOW THEY’RE DOING IT, AND THEY ARE NOT GOING TO KEEP IT THIS WAY. Seriously, they make one game that deviates from the norm, and all of a sudden people think that it’s “THE FUTURE OF THE FRANCHISE!!!” Sure, they might end up making Let’s Go versions of Johto or whatever in the future, but if they do then they’ll basically be spinoff-main games for casual people. The main-main games will stay as they are, and likely will become better if this is the case, since all the casual fans will go to Let’s Go, and the non-Let’s Go games can focus even more on the hardcore fans.
All in all, the existence of Let’s Go is an objective positive for the franchise. Stop whining, you’ll get your chance.
I’m gettin Let’s Go Eevee btw. I’m excited, since I’ve never actually played through Kanto in its entirety. I have Firered, but I never really got into it. I obviously know every point of it, but it’s obviously because it’s so famous. I never really liked the Kanto mons, but I can probably forge a team from them nowadays since I haven’t used them as much. I usually try to make teams of Pokemon I haven’t used before, mixed with Pokemon I just genuinely like. So far, I think I’m going to go somewhere along the ways of having Blastoise/Poliwrath, Primape, Nidoking, Dodrio, Rapidash, and obviously Eevee. I don’t know too much about where to find Ponyta, Squirtle, and Poliwag, but I’d say that’s my favorite team possible from the Kanto mons.

New list of Pokemon
I’m just going to make another post and delete the old one. This one will be more in depth with what Pokemon are planned to be in the game. Will be adding to this as it grows.
I revamped every cut Pokemon from Spaceworld ‘97 to use in this game. I had to sort of guess what kind of stats they would have based on their looks. (Unless they’re an evolution or pre-evolution. Those are pretty easy for me to guess.) Most of the Pokemon from the Demo will retain their original name, unless I change my mind. Some though I just wanted to use different names for them for... Some reason.
Some of these will probably have minor changes to them in the future. (Specifically the outlines of some of them... Okay maybe almost all of them.)
I don’t know if I’m going to bother revamping any of the cut Pokemon from Red and Green. Mostly since I would have to trace over the art from the book first, and some of them are cut off. They’re also in black and white so it would be hard to tell what’s supposed to be what.
I also recorded myself making the sprites! (Just in case I lost them just like I lost a lot of the faces.)
Starters
Well, technically Tauros will be your starter. (And your bike.) But you get to pick from one of these three anyway,
Tumblr media
Kurusu, Akua and Akueria, the water starter line.
Tumblr media
Honoguma, Borubeea and Dainabea, the fire starter line
Tumblr media
Happa, Hanamogura, and Tilian Meganium, the grass starter line. The difference between these and the regular Chikorita line (besides the elephant in the room) is that Meganium is going to have a Dragon typing as it’s second type! I may even just let all three of them be part dragon. Doubtful, but if I feel like Grass/Dragon Meganium isn’t enough to make it as appealing as the other two starters, I just might. For now though I did add “poison” to Hanamogura.
I didn’t make them any bigger because for some reason they just appear so much bigger than the other two lines in the post. It was kind of an eyesore.
Cut Evolutions
These were cut from Pokemon Gold for some reason. I’m bringing them back.
Tumblr media
Buddmitto. (Maybe just “Budmitt” in the final.) A second evolution for Weepinbell if a Poison Stone is used. This Pokemon favors Special Attack over Attack and can learn more Special Grass moves than Physical.
Tumblr media
Madamu, the evolution for Farfetch’d. It doesn’t really make sense for this Pokemon to have been cut. Farfetch’d was important to the story at one point of the second gen games. This would’ve been a perfect introduction to “old Pokemon having new evolutions” but nooo~!
Tumblr media
Quiddlefish... Okay so my husband took one look at it when I was working on revamping it and said “It’s a Quiddlefish!” so... Yeah. I removed the lightning bolt that was on it’s head because there was literally no reason for it to be there.
Removed Baby Pokemon
So far these all evolve just by leveling up, since in the demo Leveling by Happiness wasn’t a thing.
Tumblr media
Koonya, baby Meowth
Tumblr media
Mikon, baby Vulpix
Tumblr media
Monja, baby Tangela
Tumblr media
Pudi, baby Growlithe. I decided to call his species “gud boi.”
Tumblr media
Para, baby Paras. This design actually raises some questions.
Tumblr media
Peticorn. (Petite unicorn... Despite not being a unicorn.) Baby Ponyta.
Tumblr media
Dododo, baby Doduo... Yeah, I know. 3-2-3 doesn’t make any sense. I kind of want to give it a Pokedex entry that has two of the babies consuming one somehow, and then that one coming back for revenge in Dodrio. I... I don’t fucking know.
Tumblr media
Betobebe, baby Grimer. Look at it! It’s so cute!
I may have baby Goldeen in the game too. I revamped the sprite and even made interesting boy/girl variants, but err... There doesn’t seem to be a way to have that separation yet.
Completely Cut Pokemon
Tumblr media
Rinrin and Bellune, dark type cats
Tumblr media
Bomushika, fire/water type seal
Tumblr media
Manboo, Ikari and Grotesu, water into water/steel... I don’t understand either.
Tumblr media
Norowara and Kyonpan, ghost types. What’s interesting about Norowara is that it apparently evolves at level 1 in the demo, which is literally impossible, so I’m making it evolve at level 2. At the start it will only know Confuse Ray and Curse, and only have 1 HP with Wonder Guard. Once evolved it will have a normal HP stat. It could be good for a “bomb,” meaning that it could sacrifice itself by using Curse on a particularly hard to beat Pokemon, but that does mean that it won’t gain any EXP.
Tumblr media
Kotora and Raitora, thunder cats
Tumblr media
And Gorotora. I found out recently that a third evolution was planned for gen 1 before it was dropped even sooner than Kotora and Raitora. I wouldn’t have bothered except I was commissioned to do a saber tooth Pokemon anyway, so I figured that I might as well. This one will probably be evolved using a Thunder Stone.
Tumblr media
Urufuman and Warwolf, ice type... The concept of these two confuses the hell out of me, but those claws look like the claws of Weavile so I’m just going to say that these are a Sneasel and a Weavile who couldn’t develop feet claws so they murdered an innocent Pokemon to make them look intimidating. That Pokemon doesn’t exist but maybe I’ll make it exist someday I dunno. (Or maybe I’ll make the Pokemon they killed look like existing Pokemon, like Arcanine.)
...How did the suit evolve with them? Why would an Ice Pokemon need a coat?
Tumblr media
Cloyster... Again. Water/Psychic type. Evolves from Shellder with a Slowpoke’s tail. (As gruesome of a mental image that is.) I may change the name of this one because it will be mostly different from the original Cloyster... Just not into “Turbann.” (I’ll come up with something else, maybe.)
Tumblr media
Noxeon, poison type. (May change the name later.) This one wasn’t technically cut. Umbreon was originally going to be a Poison type but they switched it to Dark to show off the new type. I decided that if I was going to make this, I would use Umbreon as a base. (It’s a different Umbreon sprite than the one in the game.) I may make the ears blend in like the tail later. I don’t know how Eevee would evolve into this yet.
Tumblr media
This one isn’t actually going to be in this build, which is why it’s all blurred out. But it is a Pokemon that was cut! I would give a hint to it’s role in my game, but that would probably be giving it away.
Pokemon made up my me, my husband or other
Tumblr media
Eeveeon, evolved from leveling up to... 32? I dunno. This is the conversation exactly:
Husband: “Eevee needs a normal type evolution that’s just a fluffier version of it!”
Me: “So... A brown Flareon?”
Huband: “Yes!”
Tumblr media
Vespitos (Vespa/custos, or the Latin word for “guard”)
I wanted to make a male evolution for Combee and this is what I came up with on the spot. It’s weaker than Vespiquen (With around 380 total base stats) but can still hold it’s own. You can evolve Combee into it at level 18 instead of 21 and it focuses more on attack than on defense.
Tumblr media
Deloris, grass/ghost type. When I saw it, my immediate thoughts were “I need to make this NOW!” I don’t know if I’ll “make” a Fizzbitch move. (I would just be replacing the name of one move to “Fizzbitch.” Probably one of the legendary exclusive moves from a legendary Pokemon that’s not going to be in the game. Hell, I’ll probably turn Deloris into a Legendary!)
I have no idea if I want other 4Chan Pokemon in the game. Possibly not, considering that this one has an official canon mystery behind it that we still don’t have the answer to, but the others have been solved... Maybe Tentaquil.
Tumblr media
Alternative Luvdisc colors! So some context: I made some very boring hearts (and “friendship circles) to show how much a person likes you. I decided to change it to Luvdiscs, but then I got an idea for a festival where you can catch these alternative Luvdisc (and OG) and if you catch all of them, you can get something cute for your house!
Also the “Friendship circles” are now Pokeballs.
(Other) Tilian Pokemon
Somebody who goes by Obermarschall on Reddit commissioned me to make a bunch of Pokemon, including some Delta/Alolan Pokemon. I can’t really see a use for some of them but I can see a use for most of them... And use them I shall!
Tumblr media
Fairy Stantler, based on Disney’s version of Bambi. Obermarschall is going to be using a version that’s more orange in color so this version may only appear in my game!
Tumblr media
Ice/Grass Eggxecute and Eggxegutor. They’re pine cones. I love these ideas. Though again the Eggxegutor that Obermarschall’s going to have different legs. I just prefer this one over the one they’re going to be using.
Tumblr media
Ice Numel and Camerupt. The Numel is so fucking CUTE!
Tumblr media
Dark/Normal Snubbel and Granbull.
Tumblr media
Water Shuckle. Look at him. Look at him and BOW DOWN!
He’s so cute! I love him!
Maybe
Tumblr media
Animon, depending on what Meltan or whatever it’s called turns out to be like in battle. I would have to make this a pretty special Pokemon to make people bother to evolve Ditto, which will be pretty hard to do if it’s only going to be able to transform.
Meltitan (yes I am calling it that) kinda destroyed any connection to Animon it may have had. Dammit.
Tumblr media
They’re ground Growlithe and Arcanine based on dingos. I love them, but I realized that I would have to make Pudi part ground type too, and I don’t want to do that. Not in this game at least. Maybe I can make them part of... I dunno. Some other region, and you can trade for these two plus ground Pudi.
Tumblr media
Ground type Ponyta and Rapidash... Only they’re zebras. They’re “maybes” for the same reason.
In the game Obermarschall’s making, they’ll be fighting/ground... I don’t know how to make it obvious that they’re part fighting so I just opted for using those poses.

The new Pokémon game is taking up a lot of mental real estate and I’m pretty mad about it. Because we pretty much know everything that going to be in this game ahead of time, compared to the percentage of what we know about other games before they’ve been released, but there’s that element of “something’s got to be different!”
So my mind replays the footage of viridian forest and route 6 that I’ve already watched, but I just want to know what I can do elsewhere. I keep checking their reddit page and Serebii, there’s gotta be new information soon. They said there’d be information during “Pokenchi” every Sunday now but I can’t find what this pokenchi is and it’s well past the first Sunday where that information would come out and I haven’t anything new so what the hell was that announcement should I put trust in the following Sundays?
I mean since there’s that traveling demo I guess that means that there won’t be one for everyone to download like SM and ORAS, and the traveling demo isn’t coming close enough to me to justify traveling to play it. (30 minutes by car is a far as I’m allowing myself to go, I’m not that desperate. Okay. Maybe the next big city over, Louisville, Columbus, Indianapolis, but NOT Chicago.)
Like. They have to answer the Meltan thing soon, right. And it’s gonna have some corespondence with Go right? There’s a second part to that video. We know there is. So where is it?
Also with the acknowledgment that you can find Chansey in route 6, I need those speculations for other Safari Zone mons are gonna spawn. I guess this one doesn’t need real answers, but I SOOOOOO want to talk about it. Does that also mean that Pokémon you could only get through trades might appear in the wild? Can I find Mr. Mimes just strollin about? That’d be freaking as fuck but I’d love it.
I have to sit in this shit for 42 more days and I can’t live like this.
