How to mine Bitcoin in 2021 from a PC - For Beginners!

Hello everyone,

I'll try to explain about Bitcoin mining without going too technical about it.

Just to make it as easy as i could for everyone out there trying to learn more about mining Bitcoin :D

So you're new to Bitcoin and you are reading about it and how to gain money out of it?

Well, There's 2 good ways actually.

- One is investing in it ( Which requires money to start off ofc)

- Second which is mining :D (Which is totally free! Unless you count how much electricity you consumed)

Obviously, We will explain about mining Bitcoin and how it works.

So basically what mining is you can earn cryptocurrency without having to put down money for it, Easy right?

Not really, Because first you have to solve a computational puzzle to earn your bitcoin.

There are thousands of miners competing to solve that computational puzzle. And when the number of miners increase so does the difficulty of solving the problem is for your computer.

Do I need a Powerful PC to mine bitcoin?

Yes! But that doesn't mean you can't mine Bitcoin if you have a decent Gaming PC. Using a powerful CPU or a decent GPU you could earn a fair amount of Bitcoin on your PC.

However, there are rigs built specifically to mine Bitcoin which is called " ASIC " or ASIC Miner.

" An application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) miner is a device that is designed for the sole purpose of mining—not coal, but rather digital currency. Generally, each ASIC miner is constructed to mine a specific digital currency. So, a Bitcoin ASIC miner can mine only bitcoin. "

Originally, Bitcoin’s creator intended for bitcoin to be mined on central processing units (CPUs)—your laptop or desktop computer. However, Bitcoin ASICs surpassed both CPUs and graphics processing units (GPUs) in terms of both their reduced electricity consumption and greater computing capacity. After gaining traction in mid-2013, when other hardware mining devices started hitting their bottlenecks in mining, Bitcoin ASIC miners have retained their lead.

So how much can i earn?

Depending on if you are using your PC or an ASIC, But here's how it works

You calculate your computing power which is called Hashrates.

Hashrates is a measure of the computational power per second used when mining. More simply, it is the speed of mining. It is measured in units of hash/second, meaning how many calculations per second can be performed. ... For example, 1 Mhash/s indicates 1 million hash calculations are done every second.

ASIC's computing power ranges from 84 TH/s to 110 TH/s

To calculate your PC's computing power I suggest downloading COMPUTTA's Desktop app

and run the Benchmark process. It will calculate your computing power and tell you how much you could earn.

How can i start mining?

So you chose what type of hardware you want to mine with? Good!

Now it's all about choosing the right software! (easiest part)

I personally chose COMPUTTA to mine Bitcoin, It's easy and straightforward.

Once you finish installing the miner, run the benchmark to see what kind of gains your looking at daily/monthly and yearly.

How to cash out?

If you want to cash out your Bitcoin you have to mine at least 3 mBTC if using Computta.
