Tell me this isn't some class of headcannon vis-a-vis The Banana Splits:

Just picture the quartet anthro at some lakeside resort up northern Minnesota way during an otherwise boring-looking summer of a Road Trip of Redemption. An "old school" resort of miniscule-looking bungalow cabins set beside the lakeshore, a modest-looking beach, a decent little lodge serving yeoman duty as taproom, lunchroom and store--I assume you get the idea.

And it turns out the crew, sitting in Adirondack chairs around what passes for a fire pit by the lakeside, goes into a s'mores fetish for the sake of making the evening fire on a somewhat dull-looking evening, damp but with rain holding off for the moment, more interesting. Only they try making such with that pink chocolate (yes, there IS such a thing, and it's naturally occuring) on a lark ... and I think it best to leave unto you how you can imagine pink chcocolate s'mores turning out.

Minneapolis Pride Fest was amazing

Shout-out to the baby ace who pointed at me in my ace cape and excitedly shouted "ACE!", you and your friends were adorable

The tents for pagan pride, a Christian church, and a Catholic church were all next to each other. I don't know who planned that, but thank you

Also the MN church of Satan was next to a Methodist church

Someone spray painted a corner of the #onlyinmn pride installation with the word "transvestite"

There was an older guy with an extremely accurate Din Djarin cosplay

Not to mention the spiderman I saw when I left

And you thought Tom and Jerry's underwater ballet scene with Esther Williams in Dangerous When Wet (1951) was rather cool:

Picture Tom and Jerry "themselves" (the latter perhaps bringing his cousin Nibbles along) on a diver's holiday of sorts not far from where The Three Wolves are on diving holiday themselves up among the World-Renowned and Far-Famed Ten Thousand Lakes of Minnesota ... and for some reason, Tom goes into the old routine of chasing Jerry and Nibbles (otherwise on an innocent dive) underwater when, all of a sudden, Tom is at a loss for air, blue in the gills even, which has Jerry and Nibbles all the more amused.

As well as Loopy de Loop, Hokey Wolf and Mildew Wolf, themselves on a dive not that far off, and captures the hilarious consequences of Tom's attempted underwater attack on Jerry and Nibbles on their mobile phones with underwater housing--even uploading the whole online once they return to dry land.

There is something so true about being Minnesotan. We’re hearty as a mother trucker. Came home for the holidays and it’s nearly -40 with the wind chill. While I love the snow, you have to or you will hate living in a state where it snows 9 months out of the year this wind chill is wicked.
