alive shannon, since it's kinda a canon rewrite and I still haven't decided to which point it's gonna go, we'll see when it'll feel right to end it haha

4. Which WIP is your favourite to write/the most enjoyable to write? Why?

once again, alive shannon haha - it's just so fun to explore what all those dynamics could've been, and giving Eddie and Shannon some closure, and I love exploring Shannon's character, too, speculating on her thoughts and motivations, and diving into everyone's heads, and I'm so excited to see it all develop!!

5. Which WIP do you find the most intimidating to write? Why?

I think it's either alive shannon or the cheating fic alive shannon bc I've never written s2/s3 buddie and I wanna get their characters semi-right, and I don't remember a lot of details so I need to get on with my rewatch lol - and also writing Shannon's and Eddie's feelings on their relationship and how it all ended is not easy haha and the cheating fic bc it's so not my thing but a song inspired it and it got stuck in my head and it's happening haha and I hope I'll make it make sense haha

6. Which WIP do you experience the most self-doubt about. Why?

tbh all of them - some more, some less, but there are moments, especially lately, when veeeery often I'm just like: everything I write sucks wtf

7. Which of your WIPs will you seek out a beta/sensitivity reader for? Why?

@giddyupbuck agreed to beta the alive shannon fic, and I spam them with snippets if I'm in doubt and it's sooo helpful fr ily <3 and I'll need alive shannon beta-read bc it's gonna be so long, and I keep changing my mind about things bc of how many ideas I have, so I just need someone else to look at it and tell me if everything makes sense haha - and Ro's helped me so much with some previous fics so they have my full trust with my baby that is the alive shannon fic haha

8. Have any of your WIPs been struck by the curse of writer's block?

all of them at some point lol - a few of these are actually on hold bc of that - I will get back to them tho!

9. Which WIP has your favourite OC? Tell us about them?

as of now there's no ocs in any of these, but we'll see haha

alive shannon, been thinking about it and making notes for months before I started writing, and I don't think i've ever been this invested in a fic

alive shannon - - like I said, it's my most precious baby, and I'm so excited to not only write it but read it, and I hope it's gonna be as good as it is in my head, and I hope I'll make the story make sense with Shannon there, but also keeping some important buddie moments from canon hah

16. Do you dream about any of your WIPs?

not sure if i've ever dreamt about a wip, but i do get new ideas in my sleep sometimes lol

17. Do any of your WIPs have particular complexities that your other fics don't?

alive shannon will have switching povs which i rarely do, so it's gonna be a challenge to write three distinct voices - and diving into Shannon's head and feelings and motivations will also definitely be hard

18. Which WIP is the funniest or has the most humour?

I think sick eddie - he's so ridiculously stubborn and difficult istg haha or buddie coffee shop with how fucking awkward buck's being

19. Do any of your WIPs contain outside POVs or a deep dive on a character other than the main ship? How are you finding that process?

yep, once again, alive shannon - it's as much a buddie fic as it is a shannon fic, so it's not exactly outside pov, bc I'm just excited to focus on her equally as much, on how she's settling into their lives, becoming a better mom, being involved in Chris' life - she's gonna have as much focus as buddie sns it's not easy, bc it's alternating povs and once I get stuck in Eddie's head it's hard to leave, but so far it's been fun

uhhh, I think I share like everything lol okay, so maybe: alive shannon will definitely go at least up until s4 and will include Eddie dating Ana 👀 purely bc I want a buddie-shipping Shannon to be like wtf eddie??? also, there will be more than one mcd in the death cast fic and coffee buddie was loosely inspired by a small thing from luke cage lol

botrd is on the brain so. what inspired it? good question.

it's hard to point to one specific thing or even a handful of things because i feel like it was in my brain for years before i actually started writing it. i've always had a funky relationship with death and grief and this story was initially just a way to make sense of that. and then while i was finishing up the first draft, my dad died. maybe that's oversharing. but writing about grief while experiencing it is a whole other beast that i wasn't really prepared for, and i think it's made this story so much more than i intended it to be.

so i guess the real inspiration is the need to affirm that even tho we're all gonna die, it matters that we lived. it'll end, of course it'll end, and we'll be nothing more than memories and then eventually, nothing at all. but we were here and it mattered.

woof that got heavy. sorry bout that. ANYWAYS...

i have many abandoned projects but i dont like to think of them as abandoned. more like… hibernating. but let's talk about one of them!

what character is most like you?

all of my characters have bits and pieces of me packed into them. like looking in a shattered mirror and seeing hundreds of tiny reflections. BUT if i had to pick one, i would pick Amelia from my untitled vampire story (a beast or a bad dog)

Dedicated DEV LOG #1

hey!! it's apollo/nyarl!! this'll be a first in a series of posts that are basically indie game development logs filled with a shit ton of rambling

i'll maybe try and post these monthly or bi-monthly, but it's mostly for me to motivate myself to make progress to have something to show off and to archive the process of making a game!

this month's dev log is dedicated to—well—"Dedicated To..."

(i may keep saying this for future projects and games so bear with me) "Dedicated To..." (abbreviated as DT from now on) originally was an idea i had in middle school!

it was really edgy tho and i'd honestly kms if it ever got leaked to the public but it was essentially an angst piece for when i was discovering my own sexuality as a gay cis man

staying somewhat true to its gay angst origins, this game is a story based psychological horror rpg maker game! maybe you can add it's a story based gay psychological horror rpg maker game lmao

it won't be a long game, and it'll have 4 routes determined by one early game choice and 5 endings!! the 5th one is considered a secret dont tell anyone

i did change the protagonist's name and design bc it was literally just a self insert for me lmao even had clothes i often wore fucking lame

BUT ANYWAYS!!!!! you'll play as tybalt, a college student majoring in english literature or something as he struggles to create a fairy tale as his capstone (don't think about it too much)

i've taken some time with working with rpg maker mz before since i had the chance to use it in a game dev class (after splurging most of my financial aid on plugins lmao), but unless i can figure out javascript on my own and break the engine, i'll be focusing on using rpg maker vx ace since it has more plugins!

for now, i'm still focusing on the story and full body character art before diving into programming and learning how to make pixel art _(:3」∠)_

btw i forgot to mention that part. yeah i'm an absolute newbie when it comes to pixel art so i have to learn that too cries

even though i'm making it in rpg maker vx ace, i'm aiming to recreate the feel of rpg maker 2000/2003 because i was SUUUUUUPER inspired by end roll, okegom's games, and specifically for this game charon's works!! so now i gotta bust out the pixels

there will be 4 routes with 5 endings! there was another route + ending but i scrapped it because i only had an idea of the ending (more on that in the future) and nothing else lol

so far i've drafted 3 of the 4 routes! even though there is no canon ending, the 4th one is the one that has the 5th ending and can branch off into other works (once again more on that in the future lmao)

i'm starting to write the dialogue for the 1st route and it's going okay!! tbh i wish i worked on it more over summer break while my college classes aren't gonna kill my ass and classes start next week (´；ω；`)

but i spent a majority of summer break testing out medication for my adhd, and i still am!! it was a really rough process and i'm glad i didn't go through mania-like symptoms while classes were going on _(´ཀ`」 ∠)_

i'm better now tho and i say i'm at a semi good spot!! now time to treat my horrid anxiety lol

I don't think he'd have much of a reaction seeing as most people/demons are a lot shorter than him

This man is easily 7ft I don't think he gives a fuck, everyone is puny to him

He'd definitely say something by accident, something he doesn't think would bother you

He's a himbo and oblivious to this shit

He'd probably say some shit like

"You're quite small for a human" or something like that

Crouches/Bends down to talk to you sometimes

Only when he really feels like it

I swear he's not trying to be rude

He'll pick you up only if you ask

For any reason too, he adores his small human

He respects you and doesn't want to help you like that unless you want him to

If he sees you struggling to grab something he'll get it for you

Gently reminds you that he can help you and you don't need to struggle with these things while he's there

Worries about other demons taking advantage of your small stature and hurting you

So he checks in on your wellbeing more often than he would if you were taller

If he knows you're around, he's making sure he doesn't accidentally run over you

I'm so sorry! to be fair he's probably gotta do that with bitches 5'7 and below

He'd probably enjoy holding/hugging you too

Like you ask for cuddles this man is cradling you in his arm

Man has nothing to say about your height

Like he couldn't care less about it and has the foresight to not say shit if you're a little insecure

Not that he would even if you weren't

If he sees you struggling to get something off a higher place, he's helping even if you don't ask/don't want him to

That's just kinda how he is

If you request he stop that he will but you need to communicate your wants and needs

If he sees you getting bullied(/lh) for your height and you look distressed he'll give to culprit a bit of a scolding

Depending on how bad it/Who it was it'll be harsher

Of course he'd like for you to defend yourself at least a little bit

When you do he can't help but smile a little to himself.

He likes to serve the ones he cares for so if any difficulties arise due to your height he'd be happy to attend to them

That is to say its only if you ask/he has the time to

He is still the butler of the future ruler of the Devildom after all

Barbatos also wouldn't treat you any different than how he would treat some one of average height or taller

He makes the occasional comment about your height to your face

Giggles about it in private on occasion LIKE A BITCH

It's only occasionally that he does this tho

Overall its not that big of a deal to him

He's been alive long enough that he doesn't really care

Will absolutely help you with things your height hinders you from doing

If you're being bullied about your height he'll give you a chance to defend yourself before jumping to your defense

Will pick you up and carry you sometimes just for shits and giggles

Other times he picks you up and carries you away to hang out or aid him in another one of his magical endeavors.

He won't get down to your level or do anything to demean you

not intentionally anyway

He doesn't say anything about your height for the most part but he will slip up every once in a while

It's nothing bad he just lets it slip he thinks your height is cute

He encourages you to stand up for yourself but has no problem sticking up for you or stealing you away if you're being bullied too much.

Happy to help with anything your height makes difficult when you ask

Other than that he doesn't treat you any differently due to your height

He's just happy he's not the only short one here.

If you're shorter than him he doesn't comment on it but he is excited to not be the shortest there.

He would make a few comments about it but you just gotta tell him to stop and he will

Just finished reading pt 2 of betrayed and AHHHHHHHH 😭 I started getting really into it and then BOOM it ended lmao 😭

I am proud of the reader for having self-respect and not forgiving Pedrito so fast (bc I too get annoyed when that happens 🙄) And Mr. Pascal how dare you! Be such a selfish asshole 😫 I want to root for him so so bad but he's making it impossible 😮‍💨

Bc I am a bitter person, I want him to suffer 😈, even if it's just a little bit, and realize that what he did was FAR FROM what a "good friend" would do and understand that reader has the right to be upset with him and maybe not want to forgive him (?)

Idea: Maybe reader accidentally bumps into someone at a coffee shop and spills her drink on them (or vice-versa) which leads to a friendship... maybe the friend starts developing feelings for reader (reader might find them attractive but it's nothing compared to what she feel for pedro?) Somewhere along that Pedro realizing that something could happen (is happening) between them and that's when he starts acknowledging that what he did was a shitty thing to do...? No lo se, solo es una idea 😂

I don't normally read Pedro fanfics, but the summary was right up my alley, and I decided to cave just this once, and let me tell you, I AM HOOKED, I AM OBSESSED 🫶🏽

Do you see this pic? I Took it on the 3rd of April to show that I've been saving money since last year. I only recently cashed that in two weeks from today. It came out to $106 subtotal.

I would've updated abour this earlier but.... truth be told I'm dipping my toes into plenty of lakes, rivers, ponds and oceans with seemingly little to show for it at the moment. I'm running an art blog now, and I'm building both a financial and artistic portfolio. I'm getting tons of leads on job opportunities in both social services and backstage tech work, which means I gotta revise my resume to fit the position titles as well as follow up with the respective hiring staff. My extended family is always checking up on me, making sure me and the folks I live with are ok (they're all sweet like that.) Ultimately I would like to craft and create more art, whether that be in writing, yarn crafting, sewing, woodworking or experimenting with traditional and digital drawing. Of course, that means I have to renovate my space so that it flows with a creative and productive atmosphere while maintaining a cozy yet friendly living environment for me and my loved ones.

You dunno what that means? Yea, neither do I. I'm figuring it out as I go, but it gets hard when the people closest to you want results NOW. NOW NOW NOW. Otherwise you're a fookin lazy good-fer-nothing, haha. I got so many irons on the fire right now it's not even funny....

On top of all of that, I dont know what to do with this blog. Ive been doing research here & there and the people in the big leagues say that you gotta stick with ONE topic and/or interest so that not only your blog remains consistent, but your followers know what to expect from you thus remaining engaged on your platform. That's some quality advice for growing a wider audience, but heres the thing- I can't be asked to just dwindle down my posts towards a single topic. Maybe that worked for my ancestors in the past but I'm lucky enough to live in a First world country that encourages free thinking provided that it doesnt limit anyone elses liberties. This is a space where I can explore multiple options, opinions, pathways and idealogies, even the shitty ones if I were as bold as I used to be. In short .....

I AM A MULTI-FACETED HUMAN BEEEEEEEAN.

I used to be a self proclaimed potato; however, things change with time. So do people- we become remixes of what we used to be. Sometimes we become better people for it. Sometimes we don't. And that's ok, so long as we're honest with ourselves about what we're doing to hinder our progress in this lifetime. I think I'm making strides in being more reflective and introspective in that aspect.

Im not sure what this means for the long term future of this blog. I originally made this during a time in my life when the internet was filled with opportunity and promises of a better life. Since then I've become more aware of how the world works and thereby more cynical to the beliefs I once held as a 16 y/o 𝓭𝓲𝓼𝓬𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓮 𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓱𝓾𝓼𝓲𝓪𝓼𝓽. I'll just continue to post things that are informative to my needs and likes and hope that it'll reach the people it's meant for. Unfortunately that means I gotta work on trimming the fat on this blog. I've made side blogs for this reason, but havent gotten around to utilizing them. That's gonna be a big project for me at some point down the line. Only God knows when I'll get around to it.

I wouldn't say Seigi and Kyoya are friends with benefits, mostly cause Kyoya would never call Seigi his friend and Seigi really does have a lot of feelings for Kyoya that aren't all that friendshippy. Also in my mind they are both on the asexual spectrum and that makes it all even more awkward.

But!!! Seigi is the first to know about any crushes Kyoya develops. Because I headcanon Kyoya as polyamorous. He has a crush on Dino, Ryohei, Tetsuya and sometimes Yamamoto and/or Mukuro too. Just has a lot of attraction towards all sorts of masculinity. Just. Kyoya's other feelings about his crushes makes it difficult. Most of the people he's attracted to also really annoy him lmao.

That future arc is going to include a lot of scenes of teen Kyoya just feeling miserable and going to bed in tears because the future I have planned is really rough on him actually :<

Now more Seigi headcanons!

Seigi is courting Kyoya, mainly to show Kyoya how a sky should be treating him. Like an example sort of? Seigi is telling him 'this is how you should be treated' while he's kind and gentle and worshipful. And Kyoya is spoiled rotten by it all.

Seigi is actually one of the first people that Kyoya meets when he ends up in Namimori. So actually, they have 'played' together as kids. Kyoya isn't socialized properly so it's a mess but Seigi immediately really likes him. Something happens that seperates them for a while tho. It'll all be explained in my story 'Sparking Hearth'

Seigi doesn't start his spray painting to get Kyoya's attention actually. He starts spray painting because he is an artist and he didn't have any other place to spray paint. Eventually Kyoya gets him an empty warehouse and Seigi fills that entire place with art :3 Seigi spray paints a portrait of Kyoya as thanks and Kyoya gets annoyed and shy about that lmao

Seigi doesn't just make music and spray paint! He used to be the most active member of NamiHigh's art club! He paints, sculpts, spray paints, draws and just does anything to create something pretty. Which includes making music and creating his own music too! I headcanon he created Hibari's canon theme cause the piano/electric keyboard is his most favourite instrument. Kyoya gets annoyed when he plays it lmao

I think TYL!Kyoya and TYL!Seigi could have a friendship similar to the one TYL!Kyoya and TYL!Ryohei have. Just Kyoya surprisingly getting drunk with a lot of people lmao

Seigi is actually quite sadistic when it comes to anyone that isn't Kyoya or in his gang. Like getting spray paint on someone's bare skin is nog a fun experience. That stuff burns and hurts and it's difficult to get off without immediate access to water. Which yes, means that Seigi's main weapon is spray paint and molotov cocktails too just for the firey fun uwu

Seigi actually has a lit of friends and friendly acquaintances. And Kyoya does actually try a little to stay on his good side, cause Seigi has an absolute wealth of information on the delinquents of Namimori. Whenever Kyoya gets distracted with a shiny new thing for a few weeks, he then has to go ask Seigi what he missed and what's been going on. It's sometimes embarrassing. But also Seigi is a sucker for spending some quality time with Kyoya! So when Kyiya asks for info, Seigi doesn't ask for anything back, just to sit together and discuss that info over some tea and snacks.

Seigi could feasibly get himself a spot in a yakuza or another mafia, maybe even Vongola, but Kyoya explicitly told him not to. So he won't. It's just gonna cause some weird interactions cause actually, I'm going to put Lal in Seigi's bar and make her his friend :3

As you can see! Seigi is gonna play a big part in the stories I am writing! Multiple stories actually. Sparking Hearth, Systemic Disorder, Don't Run it can't be Undone... I will put him everywhere kust for fun >:3

People have liked the post I made about wanting to talk about my original Katekyou Hitman Reborn characters. And off of that post I've introduced you all to Kusakabe Sora, my oc thag is Hibari Kyoya's adoptive father!

However!!! There are more! I wonder which I should introduce next? Cause right now, this guy I named Chiba Seigi is on my mind very noisily. So I guess him?

Seigi has grown to be such a big character. He's also mixed between Japanese and Hispanic, because that very much fits how he ended up pictured in my mind's eye. He has tan skin, shoulder length, dark hair and dark eyes with unfairly pretty lashes. (TYL, he has a moustache and some facial scruff)

I wouldn't call him Hibari's love interest, but those two 100% fool around. Like. To the point that, in the future arc, TYL!Seigi was one of the few people that actually helped teenage Kyoya adjust to everything that was happening. [For the future arc from Kyoya's perspective, I do actually have a whole fanfic cooking in my brain]

Seigi is also an active sky! But like. His sky is pathetically weak, because he's a civilain level delinquent. Which is why, while he pines endlessly and makes heart eyes at Kyoya constantly, he can never truly hold Hibari's cloud in his sky. He would very simply be smushed :( Doesn't keep him from courting Kyoya oh so sweetly every chance he gets. He's actually a bit obsessive in that way.

However! Seigi is a masochistic thrill chaser first and foremost when it comes to Hibari Kyoya. They constantly butt heads around Namimori because Seigi has unlocked the creative passion of spray painting and light vandalism and Kyoya does not appreciate that.

They often chase each other around town, or play mind games with each other very subtly. And yes, it's a healthy rivalry. After the graffiti is scrubbed off of the walls and the smashed windows are replaced, Kyoya is not opposed to going out for a drink with Seigi. Cause Seigi is just very pleasant company.

In general, Seigi is just a really creative guy. He's an art student by day and a dj/musician by night. Kyoya sometimes hangs out at the club Seigi plays music at. That club has a whole gimmick that will be important in my Igniting Embers Series someday if I ever get around to it.
