Really love this 1/4 inch pattern bit from @amanatool. Here I'm using it to get tighter corners on the truss rod access window in this fretboard. I've already roughed it in with a 1/2 inch bit.

Believe it or not, this is my first time using wood plugs to cover screw holes! 😯 The @amanatool 55220 plug cutter made quick work of plugs in padauk wood. To drill the holes in the cherry I used an @amanatool 55227 countersink bit. I wanted to provide a few thoughts on this new @toolstoday @amanatool PR1040C blade I received to assist with my IKEA remake table. . I was going to start out with a comparison to the Freud blade however that’s not fair because they are not the same category of blade. The Freud was a specific ripping 24T blade, and this PR1040C is a general purpose 40T blade. What I will say right out of the gate after my first cut, is it’s clean and essentially ready for glue up. Even my ripping blade doesn’t provide that clean of a cut as you’ll see in some of the pictures (Amana Tool is on the Left in comparisons Pics) After a few more cuts you do start seeing some of the faint saw lines, however, they are like minor scratches on your iPhone screen and do not impact the face for glueing in my opinion. . I did notice right away the blade is heavier, not sure if that plays a factor or not, but so far 80% of the cuts have been done with this blade on my table and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. It also looks good… for what that’s worth. .
