norm isn't sure how long he's been trapped in vault 31. days spent trying to get the robot to open the door but knowing he's stepped too far. he'd gone down the rabbit hole and wasn't coming out the other side. a few times he's even gotten as far as sitting in the pod that once housed his father but never had he gotten the courage to press the button. some part of him hoping that lucy or his father would come back. that they'd let him go. but he is slowly losing hope. until he hears the metallic grinding of the vault door opening. "h-hello?!"

has anybody watched Fallout on Amazon Prime? I'm only on episode 5 but WOW !!! the show is freaking amazing and I'm literally so crazy about it, like it's...... it's, dare I say, way better than The Last of Us. like, miles better. There is so much I was disappointed about with The Last of Us.

with Fallout? I have literally no complaints and I'm actually so blown away with how amazing it is. they really went out of their way to make it SO accurate to the show. all the props, even down to the GUNS man... they got that 10mm pistol lookin' like they just grabbed it right out the game. perfection. just, perfection.

I just love Fallout. so much love. I hope the series makes the roleplay community for Fallout blow up. I wanna see new peeps and old peeps returning to Fallout rp.

GENERAL: SELECTIVE AND PRIVATE. this means i’m particular about who i follow and i will only write with mutuals. my blog is semi-iconless (depending on the muse/if i feel like making icons or not). NOT SPOILER FREE. NO GODMODDING, metagaming, etc. EXCLUSIVITY IS RARE but not unheard of so you can find my mains/exclusives list here

WRITING: I USE PRIMARILY THIRD PERSON PAST OR PRESENT TENSE. i'm not entirely comfortable roleplaying in first or second person (yet). when it comes to verb tense, i'll often check to see what my partner is most comfortable using and go with that. i can do one-liners or multipara threads, but longer things will likely take a bit more time.

SHIPPING: I SHIP CHEMISTRY, and i do not force ships because i’m not a monster. i definitely enjoy a good romance, but platonic and queerplatonic dynamics, rivalries, etc. are just as interesting to explore!

FOLLOWING/UNFOLLOWING: IF I FOLLOW YOU, IT MEANS I LIKE WHAT YOU HAVE GOIN' ON AND WOULD LOVE TO INTERACT. it doesn't have to happen immediately, just down the line! i'll give most folks at least a week to follow back (thus indicating mutual interest in writing together at some point) before unfollowing. but if i really enjoy your blog/portrayal, i may stick around as a passive follower so long as i am welcome!

everyone is scared. lucy has gone out searching for norm's father and already a new overseer is controlling the vault. the raiders continue to eat their way through their various supplies and the water is drying up. soon, they'd be at the whim of the elements unless things get back to normal. but for the young man nothing would be the same again. not after seeing the desecrated corn fields, bloody walls and bodies lying all over thirty-two. the raiders got in, sure. but the deaths were old. the bodies already turned to skeletons. it brought up so many questions.

made him wonder how much of a lie had he been fed?

it also made him wonder of his own father. was he complicit? or was he, like the, another unknowing body? the man was from thirty-one. where every overseer had been raised before transferring to thirty-three. maybe his answers lay there.

he flicks through various photos on his pipboy of his family. his life. hoping not all of it was tainted by his disillusionment with the vault.
