Deepak Tijori Clears the Air on Viral Statement About Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh
Actor Deepak Tijori recently found himself in the limelight due to a viral statement regarding Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. Initially reported as Amrita stopping Saif from making a cameo in the 1993 film “Pehla Nasha,” Deepak has now come forward to clarify the situation.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Deepak expressed his dismay over the misrepresentation of his words. He explained that his original statement was about the camaraderie among actors during the premiere scene of “Pehla Nasha.” Contrary to the viral narrative, Amrita’s reaction was not to prevent Saif from participating but rather to commend the supportive bond between actors. Deepak emphasized, “I never said that Amrita stopped Saif from going to the premiere.”
Setting the record straight, Deepak reiterated his respect for Amrita Singh, describing her as a wonderful woman and a supportive actor. He expressed disappointment over the distortion of his words, stating, “I wake up and I get pained when I see the news stories. I never said that.”
With this clarification, Deepak Tijori aims to rectify the misunderstanding surrounding his statement. While both Saif and Amrita have yet to respond to the viral comment, Deepak continues to focus on his upcoming directorial venture, “Tipppsy,” set to release in theaters on May 10th.

Koffee With Karan 8: Sharmila Tagore opens up about Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s divorce; says, “We felt deprived to lose Amrita and the two kids”
The recent episode of the Karan Johar hosted show featured Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan debuting on the couch where they discussed their personal and professional life, during which the mother-son duo opened up about Khan’s divorce. Saif revealed that his mother was the first one he spoke to when he was considering this separation. “With the separation, I just like to say, that the first person I spoke to before the separation was my mother. She took a deep breath, there was a pause on the phone, and said, ‘I am with you if that’s what you want’ and that helped a lot,” said Saif.
Sharmila Tagore went on to speak about how the entire divorce and separation affected her and her cricketer-husband Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi aka Tiger. “When you are together for such a long time and you have such lovely children, then no break up is easy. Then it is not a harmonious… I know it is difficult to have harmony at that stage, everybody is hurt… so that stage was not nice but I tried. But that’s water under the bridge, she needed time to cool down and they worked it out together.”
She added, “It’s not just staying away, there are so many other things that are involved. It wasn’t a happy time for us because Ibrahim was just three and we were very fond of the children. Especially, Tiger was really fond of Ibrahim and he would say, ‘That’s a good lad.’ He didn’t get that time with him. So we felt doubly deprived to lose Amrita and lose the two kids. So it’s just not him but we also had to adjust to all that,”
Currently, Saif Ali Khan not only spends time with Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, but the duo are also share a great rapport with Saif’s second wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and their kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh.

While he had not climbed trees since he was a child, it surprisingly came easy to him now as he descended yet again from the tree hammock that he and Rohan had acquired. As lovely as it had been to sleep up in the canopies surrounded by trees and birdsong with a dazzling display of stars, Jonah, in a way was glad to have his feet back on solid ground – for now at least. He smiled at people passing by, greeting them felt less stranger as familiar faces were plentiful now but a particular one caught his eye. He had been meaning to talk to Amrita since the camp activities, specifically canoeing when he saw her completely exhausted, but he hadn't gotten a chance to seek her out and though he waved at her cheerfully it tugged on the guilt he had been harbouring. "Hey, mind if I sit?" he asked pointing at the log next to her, "How's your tent situation? You got one of the good ones, right?" It wasn't what he needed to ask, but he hoped he could ease into the conversation that needed to happen.

Kui tugged at the strap of their satchel bag nervously after ringing the doorbell, and began speaking the second the door opened, in short quiet bursts, pausing as their thoughts bounced from topic to topic but never stopping long enough to actually relax. "Hey, um. I'm sorry, feels really strange to just show up at your house. But you showed up at mine, I guess—but mine's also my work, so... whatever, I picked up some pastries." There were currently no pastries in sight. That required an answer. "I left them at the cafe by accident. I should've texted or something, but I forgot that too." They dug out a small bag from their larger one, wrapped with a lace ribbon. "I got you some heirloom veggie seeds, though? I looked up what they were but I think it just means they're gonna be... weird? Old? You probably know better than me." They took a breath. "Anyway, I'm back so, I'm like, checking to make sure people I like aren't like... hurt, or too fucked up from the whole... being extorted and tortured... thing. Some of them are, though, obviously. Are you?"

for: amrita ( @dvsconocvdo ) time & location: around dusk at a park
It seemed like a big fucking ask, to want a town that called itself a safe haven to provide safety. The word lost all meaning a while ago to him, with an onslaught of bloodshed and nightmares, now it lay dead and buried beneath a pile of shit and bedrock. The past few days were a whirlwind of mess and trouble, and the past few months too were devoid of peace and quiet -- but really when had he ever properly felt those anyway? Happiness was fleeting, blew by like wisps of smoke leaving behind only a memory of light. Still, he moved along, head heavy with thoughts and tried to not let frustration get the better of him. Running helped a little with that, feet hitting the side-walk at a normal speed, the vampire purposefully avoiding his abilities in desperate hope for a sliver of human exhaustion, it wasn't working as expected but movement was needed.
And he wished it didn't come to a stop so soon. What was it with people doing things that interrupted his run? He had changed course to steer away from the woods and inexperienced vampires, and now? Another crouched by a tree and talking... to herself? Bewildered and recognising the figure to be Rohan's sister, Ken walked up, footsteps were naturally quiet and he made no notion to announce himself till he spoke, "What are you doing? Are you talking to yourself?"
