(a/n: so ngl, I wrote the first scene for this a while ago and I was gonna put it later on and write a full smut scene, but as the story progressed it seemed more and more out of place, so i’m putting it here as a sort of conclusion to last chapter’s cliff hanger :)

You eased yourself off of him and flopped down on the bed. He was panting heavily and a thin sheen of sweat crowned his blissful features. His brows were drawn together in pleasure and his lips were puffy from yours against them.

You observed his chest rise and fell at a rapid pace, the scarring on his left side pulling as his ribs expanded. 

You peered over his thigh to look at his cock, it was still twitching from his climax, thick ropes of cum were still spilling out of him. He came really fucking hard. You watched in amazement, you didn’t expect him to function this…well?

“Don’t flatter yourself” he panted out as he cracked an eye to look at you.

You shot him a confused glance.

Your eyes softened, he had so much self hatred. Instead of recanting his statement you tenderly laid your head on his chest. The cool silver of his dog tags brushed against your warm cheek. It was nice.

He was still warm to the touch but he reached for the sheets to pull up. 

“You're still sweating, cool down first” you said worriedly; you didn't want him to overheat.

“It’s fine” he said grunting as his hand slowly closed around the edge of one of his gray sheets.

You observed the sweat still sitting on his forehead, “Anakin, I really think you need to cool down first”.

He sighed and laid back onto his pillow, “Can you atleast cover my legs?”, he asked defeatedly.

It took you a moment to understand why he was so adamant about the covers, but it was because he was self conscious. You felt a pang of sadness, he had no reason to feel that way. 

“don’t get used to this” he said shortly.

“Of course” you responded before pulling up the sheets. 

Once you returned to his side you shortly drifted off to sleep. You were a little disappointed at his cold attitude, but atleast you got to experience this once.

What you didn’t see as you closed your eyes, was his soft expression as you nuzzled into his side.

A streetlight peeked through the askew blinds, causing you to groan and turn your face away. You nuzzled further into the pillows beside you and let out a contempt hum when you felt the warmth of covers over you once more.

The weight made you drowsy again but you were startled when you felt something beside you shift. You shifted your head to see behind you. Surprisingly you were met with a head of sandy hair.

Anakin.

The weight over you wasn’t the blanket, it was his arm; he nuzzled into your shoulder as you exhaled a shaky breath. As much as you enjoyed his arm around you, you did have to use the bathroom, begrudgingly you whispered his name softly. 

No luck.

You slowly turned to try and wiggle out of his hold, but thankfully he turned the other way. Gently you eased off of the bed and went to the restroom. As soon as you left, you were wishing for his warmth again.

You stumbled to the bathroom, still not fully accustomed to the layout of the apartment. You sat with a yawn and checked the time.

3:48 AM

You rubbed your eyes as you felt a twinge of a headache, no use going back to campus now.

Once you were finished you made your way back to the warm bed. Your exhaustion returned as soon as you entered the covers and you drifted back into a contempt slumber.

You were woken by the annoying beeping of a garbage truck outside. But this time when you opened your eyes you saw Anakin’s chest, his dog tags moving with every breath he took. You took a moment to analyze the situation; he was lying on his back with an arm under your neck and you were cuddled into his side.

Fuck. 

He wouldn’t be happy with this. You tried to slowly move from his hold when your phone began to ring. You cringed as the vibrations on the nightstand began to fill the whole room. You dashed for the phone and answered it in a hushed voice. 

Y/N?

“Hey Ahsoka, what’s up?” you asked, sneaking a glance back at the man behind you.

Where are you? I went by your dorm but I didn’t see you. 

Anakin probably wouldn’t want them to know you were at his house and you definitely did not want to be on his bad side, so you told her you had gotten up early to run some errands.

Oh, I coulda gone with you.

“It’s ok, I didn’t want to bother you”

No worries! Oh, wait. How did you get home last night?

You turned once more when you heard Anakin let out a small groan.

“Uber, umm hey Ahsoka, I don’t mean to rush you but I have to go, i’ll see you when I’m back on campus”

Ok! Don’t worry about it! See ya

You hung up the phone and turned back to Anakin. His brows were knitted together in a sort of scowl, he was probably upset you woke him up or maybe it was because you were even there at all.

“I’m sorry Ana-” you stopped yourself as you heard him wheezing.

He placed a hand over his chest as he tried to prop himself up with the other. You instinctually helped him into a sitting position and placed an arm around him. 

“Anakin, what’s wrong? What do you need?” you worriedly asked.

“I-In” he gasped out before wincing once more.

Once he could speak, he tried again. “Inha- inhal” he pointed towards the nightstand beside the bed. 

In the midst of random stuff you saw a small inhaler, you grabbed the small device and handed it to him. His hands shook as he brought it to his lips, you were waiting for him to press the button so he could get the medicine but his fingers weren’t cooperating.

He fumbled with the device as his breathing became more erratic. At some point you just grabbed the inhaler and administered it to him.

“Ok, 1, 2, 3” you counted before puffing the medication into his mouth.

After three puffs he started to calm down, his pulse was still racing though. You eased him back to lean against the headboard.

“Are you ok now?”

He nodded as he finished catching his breath.

“Anakin, what happened?” 

“I damaged my lungs in the accident and when I lie on my back too long it irritates them.” he said in a raspy voice.

Ok….you did not expect his voice to sound like that…

No.

Focus.

“Do you normally sleep on your back?”

“No, but you were lying on me” he said, wiping his forehead.

“Oh, I’m sorry, you could have moved me” you said, feeling a little guilty. 

He shook his head and admitted, “You looked comfortable”.

Blush rose to your cheeks, you didn’t expect him to say that. You zoned out for a moment and looked down at the covers. Anakin must have thought you were looking at his body, because he spoke.

“Yeah, I guess since you’ve seen everything, there’s no use pretending..”

“No use pretending i’m whole” he let out a small defeated laugh. 

“Oh, I wasn’t- I didn’t mean to-”

“It’s ok,” he said sadly.

“Thanks for helping me with that” he motioned towards the inhaler.

“Of course,” you smiled. 

The two of you sat there for a moment just looking at each other until you asked him about last night.

“was it ok?” you shyly responded.

“yea, it was” he responded with a small smile.

“if i’m not mistaken, I recall you saying not to get used to it” you teased.

He just shrugged and began to hoist himself out of bed. You watched as he slowly rose to his feet and took a few wobbly steps towards the bathroom. 

You layed back down in the bed as he washed up. Surprisingly, he was being nice to you, maybe he was warming up to-

“When are you gonna leave? I have some stuff I have to do today” you heard him say from the other room.

That sounds more like the Anakin you know.

“I’ll leave now” you responded, jumping out of the bed, not wanting to stay and irritate him.

Quickly, you gathered your belongings and said a quick “goodbye” before heading out the door.

He was quite an enigma.

The last time Anakin saw you was the night you stayed over, around a week ago and he still couldn’t get you off his mind.

You weren't afraid to stand your ground.

He remembered the time he called you to help him, you saw him in his most vulnerable state and you didn’t judge him, you didn’t leave.

As much as he wanted to hate you for getting so close, he couldn't. He hated that your touch made him feel so good. He hated that you stirred emotions he hadn’t felt in years.

Lately you were all he thought about at night, all he thought about at all. Your sweet voice, your soothing touch, your beautiful lips. 

Static filled the living room as he scrolled through television channels; he didn’t even mind the noise. He turned it down a hair and leaned back to stare at the ceiling. It had been years since he had felt such a spark with someone else, not since her.

He was afraid of heartbreak just as anyone would be, but something inside told him to pursue you. You were worth it.

He pondered over his behavior towards you in the past: mixed signals, verbal insults, passionate affection, cold shoulder, he was giving himself whiplash with the amount of mood changes he had give you.

As he thought about it more and more, he realized he owed you an explanation as to what happened for him to end up like this. 

Against his better judgment he reached for his phone and sent a text

Hey, would you mind swinging by later? I wanted to talk with you

He quickly shut his phone off and tossed it onto the cushion beside him; now, time to wait. Not even two minutes later, the notification popped up.

Sure, are you alright?

A smile graced his features as he answered you, you were always so selfless. 

I’m fine, just wanted to talk.

You drove over to Anakin’s apartment anxiously, you had been trying to take your mind off of him since you spent the night at his place but you just couldn’t seem to successfully distract yourself. 

Getting a text from Anakin was the last thing you expected when you got up this morning, he really hadn’t contacted you since you saw him last. You didn’t want to push your luck so you decided against reaching out to him first.

But when you opened his message you immediately froze; why was he wanting to see you now? Why specifically today? Was something wrong? Did you overstep?

Thoughts raced through your mind as you waited at the stop sign on the street closest to his place.

Soon you arrived on his doorstep and knocked on his door. Not long after you heard him call for you to come in.

He was walking from his kitchen to the living room with a beer.

“Hey, Y/N” he greeted, “You want a drink?”

“No thank you, Is everything alright?”

He nodded and walked over to the couch, motioning you next to him. 

“Yeah, everything is alright, I just thought I owed you a bit of an explanation” he said, taking a brief swig of his drink.

“Explain what?”

“All of this” he said, motioning to himself and his army stuff.

POINT FOR VANITAS. It struck me back then after my second or third run of KH3 which coincided with the end of KHUX. When you defeat Vanitas he does this gloomy talk about I’m Darkness blabla yeah yeah I get it poor little emo meow meow. But he IS LITERALLY DARKNESS. Then, Xehanort truly saved Ventus by draging out them of Ventus’ heart to defeat him without hurting Ven (well he tried at least thus giving him to Eraqus to heal him) cause… he’s one of the friends he used to dream about.

Could Sora be able to do that with the Lost Masters too? To save them and annihilate the Darkness at the same time? We all know he will do that.

OMG I ALMOST FORGOT THE RAT.

okay y’all i re-listened to the entirety of evermore at like 2 am and went to bed at 3 am so this isn’t really coherent but here we are, qeued up to go,,,so here are my thoughts w/ evermore + tcw because y’all k n o w 

1. willow -- strong anidala vibes. taylor swift herself said something about how this song is all about the complexities of desire and. yeah. it shows. // “wherever you stray, i follow” and “i know my train could take you home” and “the more that you say the less i know” and “wherever you stray i follow” and “that’s my man ;)” 

2. champagne problems -- strong sad obitine vibes, which @kckenobi screamed about to me last night and i wholeheartedly agree. big vibes of having to leave a relationship because you have to and also...just sad. might have made me cry and my heart feel empty. def. something on repeat. // “your heart was glass, i dropped it” and “your hometown skeptics called it champagne problems” and “you had a speech, you’re speechless” and “how evergreen our group of friends, don’t think we’ll say that word again” and “one for the money, two for the show, i never was ready, so i watched you go”

4. ‘tis the damn season -- big anakin and ahsoka vibes, esp. during season 7 help. all about going back to your hometown and kinda wanting to reunite with someone but also knowing that is a bad idea. yes i am sad. // “and it always leads to you and my hometown” and “i won’t ask you to wake if you don’t ask me to stay” and “and wonder about the only soul who can tell which smiles i’m faking” and “we could call it even, even though i’m leaving” yeah i’m not okay either

8. dorothea -- this is also kinda a reach, but i see this is like the other side of anakin and ahsoka vibes in ‘tis the damn season. kind of seen from the perspective of someone who’s seeing someone come back to the hometown and ‘oh huh she’s different’ but like. still cares about you, you know? which is very anakin and ahsoka vibes season 7. // “it’s never too late to come back to my side” and “you know, you’ll always know me” and “but are you still the same soul i met under the bleachers?” 

9. coney island -- honestly about anyone with anakin. :( it’s just. really sad. destroying something delicate vibes. // “did i shatter you?” and “sorry for not making you my centerfold” and “disappointments, close your eyes” and “but you were too polite to leave me” 

10. ivy -- more anidala vibes, tbh? again, stuff about illicit affairs kinda. cheerful but lyrics are not, actually. idk the metaphorical thing that both anakin and padme are already married to are the order and the senate, obvs. // “i’d live and die for moments that we stole on begged and borrowed time” and “it’s a war, it’s the goddamn fight of my life, and you started it” and “i can’t stop you putting roots in my dreamland” 

11. cowboy like me -- obitine and/or anidala vibes, i know. never thought i would talk about cowboys to them,,,but the vibes. // “you had some tricks up your sleeves” and “takes one to know one” and “we could be the way forward and i know i’ll pay for it” and “and the skeletons in both our closets plotted hard to fuck this up” 

12. long story short -- big obi-wan vibes, also big ahsoka vibes. // “pushed off the precipice, clung to the nearest lips” and “long story short, it was the wrong guy” and “no more tug of war, now i just know there’s more” and “past me, i wanna tell you not to get lost in these petty things” and “your nemeses will defeat themselves before you get the chance to swing” and “i fell from the pedestal” and the transition from “long story short, it was a bad time” to “long story short, i survived” 

13. marjorie -- big obi-wan and anakin vibes. i think this song is actually about taylor’s grandmother but right now all i could think of bittersweet anakin and obi-wan help // “if i didn’t know better, i’d think you were still around” and “what died didn’t stay dead” and “you’re alive, you’re alive in my head” and “i should’ve asked you questions” 

14. closure -- big anakin vibes w/ lineage fam. just. angry ex vibes. of someone who just doesn’t want anything to do with you anymore. asdfsdfs this is ironic but like. yeah. that was the closest i could think of. mayhaps a stretch but there’s some connecting lyrics. // “don’t treat me like a situation that needs to be handled” and “i’m fine with my spite and my tears” and “i know i’m just a wrinkle in your new life” and “guilty, guilty reaching across the sea that you put between you and me” (this is gonna hit hard if kenobi series speculation is correct and we get obi-wan trying to bring anakin back for one last time)

15. evermore -- honestly gives me obi-wan vibes. // “i replay my footsteps on each stepping stone, trying to find the one where i went wrong” and “this pain would be for evermore” and “can’t remember what i used to fight for” and “i thought of you in the cracks of light, i dreamed of you” but then it transitions from “this pain would be for evermore” to “this pain wouldn’t be for evermore” and ladies and gentlemen, we call that growth and hope!!!

 Episode 2: Rising Malevolence

Rise of Skywalker, a movie I genuinely loved!

Ok so I've had almost a full day to think about my thoughts on Rise of Skywalker. Right from leaving the cinema, I knew that I loved this movie! Sure it had it's flaws but every single Star Wars movie does and I like to think the positives outweigh them. It had amazing cinematography, the adventure was there, and all the emotions that come with Star Wars.

SPOILERS AHEAD

I think first I'll talk about the flaws because I love ending things on a cheery note. First, Rose Tico was pushed to the sidelines and I wish we got to see more of her character arc. I think after seeing the backlash some fans had for Rose, JJ was afraid to have her in the spotlight. She could've done more. I would've liked to see her interact more with Finn even platonically. And interact with Rey.

Second, I'm a huge Anakin Skywalker fan so part of me feels like they disrespected his arc in this movie with Palpatine being back. I kinda felt like it was all for nothing. But then I did see some other reviews that said he brought balance for a long time, but balance isn't permanent. So that post brought me some peace on that, thanks to who wrote it (I can't remember who, sorry!).

Third, Ben Solo's death. So I'm not sure if I just hate it because I loved his character or if it really wasn't a good decision. Star Wars stuck to their algorithm of redeeming the villain but to only kill him seconds later. We already saw this with Anakin. Did we have to see it again? Then again it was really meaningful that he sacrificed himself for Rey. Maybe he's still alive somewhere, idk I'm in denial still.

Ok so now onto things I liked/loved which is a lot, but I'm not good with reviews so I might not name all!

First I must say that I loved Rey and Ben's relationship and chemistry. There isn't too much dialogue, but you can see how much they care for one another through expressions. Props to Adam Driver for conveying so much in just looks and actions. The way he looked when he found Rey's dead body was so heartbreaking. He looked so vulnerable.

Also the way Rey was so relieved to see Ben after he brought her back. She smiled like he was this bright light. And oh my, my heart fluttered when they kissed. It's probably just me being the huge romantic that I am, but that was one of my favorite parts. From the beginning they had a strong emotional connection. In TLJ we can see how strongly they feel for one another. Ben wants her to be by his side constantly and really opens up to her. Rey does the same. She let's her self open up about her past and desire to belong somewhere/someone to Ben. In my mind, the buildup was there. It saddens me that it had to be a tragic romance, but Star Wars always has that tragedy. Ben also showed that hope leads somewhere. Rey held onto hope that he would return to the light and he did. He was at peace when he died.

Second thing I loved was the trio of Rey, Finn, and Poe in this movie! We have been waiting to see them all in action together since TFA. And JJ did not disappoint. The banter between the three flowed nicely and was comedic. It felt like a family. It was also so nice to see Rey interacting with Poe! You can tell they have spent a lot of time with each other. For those who think Rey is alone, she has these two guys for her family.💛

The scene where all the ships showed up last minute gave me Endgame vibes and I loved it. Especially when the main theme started.

The entire be with me scene in the throne room was chilling and awestrucking! (wow that first part of that sentence just threw back to GoT😨) When Rey looks up into the sky and the lightning fades to the calm and serene stars I too felt so relaxed. The soft music was so lovely, John Williams never fails. Hearing the jedi voices was what had me smiling like an idiot, especially hearing Anakin's voice saying "Bring balance as I once did". (I guess that's proving that his arc wasn't completely ruined). I would've loved to see Hayden Christensen, but I appreciate that we got to hear his voice.

Was anyone else so surprised to see Han even as a memory? It's not even that I was surprised because of how it goes into the plot, because it makes perfect sense for Ben to look back and remember his last interaction with his father. His father would be the key in him returning to the light. It just surprised me because I did not expect Harrison Ford to show up on set of Star Wars ever again😂. It was a very nice and welcome surprise though. From the moment he killed Han, you could tell Ben felt regret and remorse. I also loved that Leia reached out to her son one last time, showing Ben that his family has not given up on him.

LEIA! It was so awesome to see her training as a jedi with a lightsaber! That flashback gave me so many chills. I loved how Leia continued to train Rey even though she knew she was related to Palpatine. It shows that Leia doesn't judge someone based off blood. Leia loved Rey and had faith in her. People can't help where they came from.

It was so sad to see Leia die but we all know it was going to happen. Chewie's reaction was so emotional and made me shed a tear. The galaxy will remember Princess Leia and Carrie Fisher forever.❤

The Ending

Overall, I loved the ending. Sure I'm still devastated that Ben is dead, but looking at the big picture it was good/satisfying.

People are saying that Rey didn't grieve Ben and she moved on too quick. I think she knows that he will always be with her because no one's ever really gone. He is one with the force. (Ngl, part of me likes to believe he is alive out there somewhere or waiting to come back).

Also as I said before Rey still has people she loves! Finn and Poe are still alive and there for her.

This is just the way I saw it, but I don't think Rey plans to stay on Tatooine very long/permanently. Rey didn't start and end the same way. She has a family now (Poe and Finn) and knows who she is. I think she went there to pay respect to the Skywalker family, it is where it all started with Shmi and her son, Anakin. She buried the lightsabers because they are no longer needed (her new lightsaber is beautiful btw) And don't hate me, but I don't mind her calling herself Rey Skywalker. She felt a deep connection to the family and both Luke and Leia took her under their wing. She doesn't care for/need the name Palpatine. It's not who she is. Which brings me to people being mad that Rey wasn't a nobody. I respect their reasons and everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I don't think it hurt her character arc. Rey being related to the worst Star Wars villain and still not falling to his dark ways shows how strong she is! She defeated him and brought balance once again to the galaxy despite being his blood.

The ending shot was beautiful and was a perfect way to end the Skywalker saga. The binary sunset and theme was ethereal. It's how the movies started and it's how it ended.

Star Wars is tragic, romantic, and hopeful. This movie showed all of those things. We lost Ben but he felt love again with Rey. Hope was restored with him turning back to the light and Rey defying expectations of a Palpatine. Personally, I loved this movie so much and it did not let me down.

Saw The Rise Of Skywalker today and I’ve never felt more let down by a series. 

I have some things to say about it, so major spoilers ahead for those who haven’t seen it yet.

Ok so here are my thoughts on TROS

after all we learned about Ren being manipulated through his childhood and Palpatine/Snoke grooming him he did deserve a redemption but not at the expense of his mother or Rey. 

After all the shit that Ren put Rey through she should not have kissed him. Stalking her, abusing her, you don’t just get over that. It would have made WAY more sense for him to save her life and then for her to thank him or to acknowledge that he was no longer Ren. Something that was able to show that she was grateful for being saved but didn’t wash over the fact that he ABUSED HER! 

Ben shouldn’t have died tho. It was a massive cop-out. He should have been shown trying to reconcile all his wrongdoings and help rebuild the new republic or whatever new government system they put in place or at least some community service ffs.

Rose Tico was done dirty she should have been with the main group or more active involvement on screen at the resistance base. They completely wrote her off as a character.

Lando did nothing for the plot he was literally there for no reason.

Hux being the mole was dumb but I could understand him wanting to get back at Ren. Still, it was the wrong way to go about it. He literally had to explain why he did it.

To the people that are saying that Rey went to Tatooine to isolate herself from her friends and to mourn Ben’s death need to stfu. She had no real reason to mourn him for an extended period of time, no more than you would an acquaintance really. Yeah, they had the force bond but Ren really only used it to manipulate her or fight her up until the very last moment when he was redeemed. And she takes the Skywalker name to honour Luke and Leia, not him. It’s her way of saying the family she found was more important to her than the one she’d been born into. 

But making Rey a Palpatine was a major weak point in this movie. She was nobody. We were cool with that. It showed that anyone could be great no matter what your lineage is. Palpatine shouldn’t have been brought back either. He was dead. Anakin killed him and fulfilled the prophecy. Cool. Leave it be. The only thing that served to do was to erase Anakin’s legacy and basically show that he failed and changed nothing in the long run. 

Rey has a vision about sitting on the sith throne but we don’t see that at all and we have to be told twice that she saw it?? When did she have this vision?? Was it in the milliseconds of flickering memories mixed with whatever the f the other stuff was? Idek but it just came out of nowhere.

So many things were said and not showed which kinda made the storyline seem really forced. Like they took out too many scenes that would have aided the story immensely.

Also their idea of LGBT+ content being a random couple that kiss at the end of the film for like .2 seconds?? 

All these big corporations care about is the money they rake in. They try to please everyone so they can get the most box office sales but they just end up disappointing everyone. in other words Disney fucking sucks.

In all, it was really a letdown and could have done soooooooooooooooo much better in terms of storyline but it just didn’t deliver. 

I’ll try to end on some positives because there are some things that weren’t terrible

The visual effects were stunning as always though so I can appreciate that at least, the sfx team do amazing work. 

The fight scenes, especially the one on the old empire ship, were fantastically choreographed. They were so intense and captivating. I loved the storm and sea raging around them. It really reflected the energy of the fight. 

The acting in the film considering what they had to work with was really a credit to the cast. They did an incredible job.

Dark!Rey from the vision was really interesting to see, a physical embodiment of Rey’s fight against her darkness. And that growl.... was... hot. ngl (I’m a hopeless wlw who is a sucker for hot villains/dark/morally grey characters)

I loved the banter between Rey, Finn and Poe. That sort of interaction between the main group was quite prominent in the first six films but we haven’t seen heaps of it in this trilogy before now. The dynamic between them is just so pure and for me, it was far more satisfying to watch them interact and see their strengthening relationships than *That Scene*. 

I really like that Rey ends up with a yellow lightsaber it’s very fitting of her character, especially since in the eu yellow was mainly a grey Jedi colour or someone who was not completely light. 

There’s really not much else I can say. I’m going to try and recover from this nightmare by getting back into some of the eu content and actually maybe finishing the clone wars.

I don’t know what to say except it finally hit that we’re in the end game. This is Revenge of the Sith territory. It’s all going to start hurting, and already has.

NO HUG NO HUG WHY DID ANAKIN AND AHSOKA NOT HUG I HATE THAT THEY NEEDED TO HUG I’M LIKE 99% SURE THEY DON’T SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN UNTIL AHOSKA FACES DOWN VADER IN REBELS THEY DIDN’T HUG EXCEPT THAT ONE TIME AHOSKA NEARLY DIED ON MORTIS I CANNOT DEAL WITH THIS THEY NEEDED TO HUG. 

Where my boys Jesse and Kix at? I’m pretty sure they came to Mandalore, right?

Rex is a Commander now! Finally! Haha that lasts like three days and then everything goes wrong. 

Bo-Katan did not need to do my boy Obi Wan like that of course he cared about Satine shut ur mouth i love you tho. 

THE MUSIC THE HECCING MUSIC UGH. MY HEART WAS RIPPED OUT A MILLION TIMES JUST BECAUSE OF THE MUSIC. 

The opening felt so much like Revenge of the Sith it hurt. Aayla and Bly are on Felucia, that shot of Plo in the ship, as much as I’m not ready for that level of hurt I will be disappointed if there isn’t another order 66 montage, I don’t think it will be a satisfying ending without it. Even though it will d e s t r o y me. 

Cool to see some Rebels references like Fulcrum and I believe Sabine’s mother? I still really need to see Rebels man. 

Forever salty Anakin and Ahsoka never had a proper hug. 

Maaan that scene with them landing on Mandalore? Ahsoka and Rex banter she’s almost as tall as him now that’s not fair she’s so big i cannot deal with this I missed those two and you can tell they missed each other. And Ahsoka jumping on the ships and getting down? That’s my GIRL I love HER I missed seeing her in action with lightsabers! (do miss the green tho ngl) 

Three more episodes. 

Three more weeks. 

Now. Do I rewatch Revenge of the Sith now, or do I wait until after the show is finished and see how much emotional distress I’m in and if I can handle that?

Thoughts on TLJ? I know you enjoyed it but what do you thinks were it's best and worst parts? Do you think they could've played out reylo better? What about what all happened with Luke?

Honestly the reylo scenes in TLJ exceeded my expectations so much. I’m still in shock. I NEVER would’ve imagined they’d give them so many scenes together, let alone ones filled to the brim with sexual tension and constant symbolism that they’re fates are intertwined and they’re destined to be together and they complete each other and AASDFGHhgfJHG. I mean the scene in the cave where Rey is alone and asks to see her parents, but instead she sees a shadow–a VERY Kylo/Ben-shaped shadow, and a smaller more Rey-sized shadow approach her and both shadows MERGE as they do so??? AND THEN we realize what we thought was her internal monologue about what happened in the cave is actually her telling Kylo about it when they’re in the hut??? She told him about that most private experience right away??? And then wants him to join her and THEN THEY TOUCH HANDS AND SEE A VISION OF EACH OTHER TOGETHER IN THE FUTURE ON EACH OTHER’S SIDE??? AND THEN UNCLE LUKE WALKS IN THE HUT AND ACTS LIKE HE CAUGHT THEM FUCKIN N DESTROYS THE PLACE??? That one scene alone shook me, but it does even moreso when I remember Maz Kanata’s words to Rey in TFA, “The belonging you seek is not behind you, but ahead” Maz and Kylo both tell Rey to stop dwelling on her parents and looking for her purpose and future in them, and everything else keeps pointing her to Kylo hell even THE FORCE is putting them together and YEAH. 

ANYWAYS, the reylo I really can’t complain about at all. Yes, I cringed when he fucked up yet again with her and went into impulsive rage mode yet again when he realized he was alone again bc she rejected his proposal to RULE THE FUCKING GALAXY TOGETHER, but that final scene with them showed that he knows he fucked up, and he’s sorry about it there is no doubt. She’s disappointed in him, she doesn’t hate him. She still wants him to be saved she still believes in Ben Solo and TLJ pushed the “no one is ever too lost to be saved” and “we’ll win not by killing those we hate, but by saving those we love” messages down our throats the whole time, and if that ain’t them heavy-hinting at Kylo/Ben’s redemption than idk what it. People say the proposal scene mirrors Anakin and Padme’s, and they’re right, but the anidala scene happened in the final episode of the prequel trilogy, while reylo’s happened in the second to final episode of the new trilogy, giving way to a BIGGG implication that episode IX will be all about Kylo’s redemption and that reylo will be reverse anidala, which Is suuuper likely with the way J.J. Abrams and Rian Johnson talk about not wanting to repeat the same ending of the other trilogies and wanting to make things end in a whole new way. ANYWAYS AGAIN I’m more than happy with how reylo played out in TLJ. I could talk about their scenes for hours they were SO powerful. 

I’m ngl, I was surprised when I heard the spoiler that Luke dies, but after seeing the scene and what he does and says right before he dies was absolutely outstanding. Luke played his part and served his purpose fully and I got really emotional over it. Don’t even get me started on his scene in the Millenium Falcon or his scene with Leia and the dice and then Kylo holding the dice in the final scene with him and Rey oh my gosh I CRY. People complain about the fact we find out Luke was a dumbass and got so afraid of Ben’s power as a student that he almost tried to kill him, and that’s what sent Ben over the edge to become Kylo Ren. But despite that being a really dumb thing for Luke to do, I’m still not bothered by it because it keeps his character HUMAN. Everyone is capable of fucking up royally, even heroes especially out of fear, and that’s what Luke did. Gimme all the flawed characters and all their tragicness and angstyness it is good writing I say GOOD WRITING.

One of my main grievances was SOME of the resistance’s storyline. I really liked Finn and Rose’s roles in the movie and especially loved their first meeting lol, but some of the fussiness back at the resistance ship with Poe vs Holdo and stuff got old fast. I don’t dislike Poe, but I’m afraid he might be my least favorite character. I feel like he’s mainly just in the story bc the story needs a main pilot is all. His character doesn’t really grasp my emotions, unlike most of the other characters do. Admiral Holdo was who impressed me the most in the resistance this time. At first I thought I’d hate her, then she was alright, then I thought I hated her again, but then she was really cool and alright again lol.

Hux is another least fave of mine, but interesting none the less. His resentment towards Kylo is hilarious, plus his sarcasm is incredible (i.e. the final showdown scene where Luke show up and Kylo orders all his men to stop everything and point all their weapons at Luke and don’t stop shooting, and the scene goes on forever they shoot at luke SO MUCH and when it finally ends Kylo is literally shaking with rage against Luke still and hux is just like “do u think we hit him” all sarcastically lmao) it’ll be interesting to see how he will likely become the main antagonist in episode IX. I hope Poe prank calls him again too.

My biggest complaint about TLJ? NOT ENOUGH PORGS

My biggest praise abt TLJ? The Reylo fight scene against snoke and the praetorian guards. Hands down my favorite scene in star wars so far.

tl;dr: I LOVED THE MOVIE ALMOST 100% AND IT SURPASSED MY EXPECTATIONS IN ALMOST EVERY WAY AND REY WAS DTF KYLO IN THAT ELEVATOR IM STILL NOT OVER ANY OF THEIR SCENES

alright, I enjoyed episode 8, 6 and 7 were a little lackluster, but I did like 8 a lot actually, more than I thought I would
