Okay, genuine writing question. I’ve been writing this fic for almost a week now, and I decided to check the word count out of curiosity…

I’m only 2.5k words in? But I’ve felt like I’ve written a lot?

How do you guys not feel burnt out? For some reason, I’ve just never been able to write anything more than 5k words and that sucks, because what I’m writing now is meant to be something pretty big, and I don’t want to somehow shove the thing into a few thousand words on accident.
