14 yrs ago i started playing magic the gathering as a kid, and i had the dream to do art for them

3 yrs ago i tweeted about those dreams:

today i’ve released 11 official magic the gathering cards, and it’s honestly so surreal and insane to me! i did that!! i fulfilled a childhood dream, and i honestly couldn’t be more proud 🥹

I slept weird my last night before flying home and my back has gotten tighter and tighter instead of relaxing itself, so much so that a deep breath hurts.

my latest elden ring goings-on are that i started a new run with my best approximation of godrick (face blindness be damned) and i’m planning to snag his weapons and try my best to beat the full game with em, lol.

#something happened during seattle pride where i had to literally put myself between this guy and my friends (cause yeah i’ll do that in an #instant without thinking) and thankfully it didn’t escalate because i stopped him from also touching me but yeah i think he would’ve backed #off way sooner if he heard the crackling sound of my electric zapper #he stole my chips though like when i put my hand out in front of him to stop him from trying to put his hands on us he grabbed my chips rea #aggro style and i told him to have a good one and led them all away real fast before he changed his mind #seriously if he had gotten another inch closer to my best friend i would have had his ass on the ground.#i wanna get back into throwing knives but it’s not like i can carry those around for defense cause 1) i’ll go to jail if i hit someone with #those even on purpose for self defense and 2) because they’d really do me only the most good at medium-long range #like yes if necessary i could fuck someone up with them but they’re not meant to be handled that way and i’d end up hurting myself more ugh #my old sets were so pretty. i miss them

Taking a small break from Birdtress posting tonight to avoid losing my mind, so I re-drew this absolutely STUNNING volume cover art from @redmarqar ‘s tf2 rock au! I’ve been wanting to do this for a while but I finally scraped my brain together enough to do it, and I like how it turned out!

It was really refreshing to work on :) I really liked the sort of allusion to possible Teefies in the og image so I decided he would get them in this even more so. The colors played a little weird on his skin but oh well

denethor is said to have been greatly affected by finduilas’ death, right. and i know their marriage was a political one but i like to believe that they still loved each other. not in the ‘traditional sense’ i guess but they loved each other’s spirits, their souls. the duty (as they viewed it) to protect their people & the willpower to do it, they both shared. and so i think that more precious than love, they understood each other perfectly. as no one else could, or did. i can’t stop thinking about denethor’s grief at losing her. to love someone, and to have them understand you, but to lose them so abruptly… no wonder denethor became embittered by her death. i think he became sad too. closed-off. built even more walls around him, not wanting to be seen as vulnerable by anyone. but his anger, at what (or whom), exactly? he already broke up with god when he was young. at the universe? at his fate? to have lost her so unfairly.

i came here to talk about their love & somewhere in the middle lost myself in his grief lol. never mind, bc what is grief if not love persevering????? they loved each other. i can’t. i CAN’T get over this simple truth. the love was there. it wouldn’t have been this tragic if there’s wasn’t. the love was there. and isn’t that enough (it isn’t. but it is. IT IS). the love was there. THE LOVE WAS. THERE. sobbing. truly sobbing DON’T TOUCH ME

can you believe there are people on this site who never use tags… like… in my personal opinion it’s insane enough to never want to organize the things you reblog but for some people they don’t even label the original things they post?? really just indiscriminately throwing every post into the void forever? that is a felony

#my blog is my archive dude i’d go nuts if i could never ever find my stuff again #tagging wouldn’t be quite as crucial if the site’s search function actually worked #but it does not. like… tagging is the only reliable way to find stuff #(even then it can be slightly janky but it’s so much better than not doing it)#like i guess there’s the archive but all that does is show you the entire void at once. still doesn’t help you find stuff fast #peach rambles
