I watched my house, cardbord on the ground, like me, leg crossed. White walls, a little smell of vinegar. Thats what I used to finally clean up everything.

I shook my head slowley left to right. He was so kind to me. He can't be real. Me and Theo knew ourself since 8 years now. He was there to help and provide when no one could. When you look clother, without him, I probably will end up as a cracked or worse.

Adventures in the ER

So today I got sudden onset severe abdominal pain. Like crying from the pain (which takes a lot for me). I tried to just sleep it off but woke up a few hours later still having significant pain and discomfort so my fiance took me to the ER.

Now this is a very bad time in my life for this to be happening. I just quit my career and also lost my health insurance since it was through my work, I dont really have a proper address since I had to vacate my apartment in Illinios and I havent officially moved yet and I'm just staying with my fiance in Wisconsin for a little until I can move into my own place. So this is arguably the worst time for all this to be happening but I was in so much pain I was encouraged by my fiance to go and at least get it checked out.

But honestly, despite how much it sucked for the both of us, I'm so happy that he was by my side through all of it. We were there for almost 8 hours on virtually no sleep and no food, doing screening after screening. Despite literally spending our entire day in the ER he still kept my spirits up, he helped asked the questions that I forgot when I was too distracted by the pain, he was honest with the medical staff about things that I was too embarrassed to talk about and he helped advocate for me to get pain medication because I was under-playing my pain to the staff. He really helped me get the best care that I could.

(Turns out I'm not in any danger but I did rupture a cyst in my ovary so I'll be in pain for a little while. I'll have to get a few more tests done but at least it's not life or death.)

And then when we finally came home around 8pm and we were both exhausted and he was restless he still continued to take care of me. Anything at all I needed. He cooked me food and kept me hydrated and made sure I was comfortable. All of this on his day off of work while he was mildly hungover and recovering from a decent break that he suffered the night before.

Although the situation was not ideal, and I'm going to get one hell of a bill I know I am safe and I truly couldnt have anyone better at my side. This really showed me that I made the right decision spending my life with him and that no matter what life throws at us, I really think we'll be okay. He has my heart and my thanks.
