I just looked back in time for the time I said Noelle might be an android made by Sandrone. I now wish to explore the idea again--

Bro Noelle thinking that everything she does is evil bc the Fatui are evil. She thinks everything she does is controlled by Sandrone and it makes her so sad to know that she's so mean.

BUT SHE'S NOT! She doesn't realize how good she is because she knows that she was made by Sandrone. She thinks her default is evil.

And think about it, why else would she not be a knight already? Because she doesn't actually want to be one. Because she knows that she was made to destroy them. She has to act like she wants to be a knight but she always falls just short of the mark on purpose.

The only reason Sandrone hasn't scrapped her for being "useless" is because of her incredible strength and impenetrable loyalty. Also Noelle has made quite the impression on Mondstadt. To get rid of her would cause quite the uproar.

It's such a neat idea because Noelle is so good but if she knew she was made by bad people she'd think everything she does is bad. Gives a lot of depth to her character. Makes sense that she's trying so hard to overcompensate even if she thinks that her helping out is bad too.

decided I’m still in love with my TOA cat au. Eventually his kids agree to bring him home and take care of him on a schedule and his youngest (who got mysteriously claimed whilst Apollo was a cat) begged and begged to take him home. So the other kids eventually relented and he (loves Warrior cats so much) gave Apollo an honorary Warrior cats name. (Placeholder will be Rufflepaw / Ruffletail bc he’s a teenager cat! Actually no I feel like the teen awkwardness, self-awareness etc. given to Apollo as Lester when he got turned into a teen could correlate to Being A Scared Kitty.) WORSE THOUGHT: what if Apollo had the same identity crisis he did during the series but instead of “Lester” it was “Ruffletail”. How would that make you (me) feel (very upset). OK ACTUALLY INSTEAD, when Apollo completes his trials (?? WAIT. HOW WOULD HE DO THAT HE’S A CAT HANG ON.) and he publishes his book series about his trials he gently reads them to his (very excited) kids as a bedtime story. They all huddle around him (he is the nightlight and the radiator) as he reads and whenever Apollo reads out his identity crisis sections, every time he says his agreed-upon cat name his youngest yells “RUFFLETAIL!!” after it.

One thing I think about a lot is Elias and his mum. Like, the only reason he changed his mind and decided to detonate the bomb is bc his mum wouldn’t come out and talk to him. She didn’t even want to *see* him (from Elias’ pov at least). Despite the fact that earlier in the series he was adamant that he didn’t want to have anything to do with her (although I have wondered whether that’s an idea that the Morley’s planted in his head, or maybe straight up told him to say), she’s still his mum and he still needs her. Then later in the series in the last few seconds before he ceases to exist when they’re hugging, the idea that that might be the only time in the series when he actually genuinely knows he is loved, and how the whole loop is him chasing after that feeling of being loved yet it takes the loop breaking for him to get it. Stuff like that.

•Also I was wondering if maybe you are gonna go down the questioning-his-gender route for Nico? Like with all that Mother thing, and the switching between pronouns when talking about Ananke and then talking about him. Especially because his immediate reaction wasn’t discomfort when being called Mother or being referred to with she/her pronouns and even when khaos was like we can change his anatomy, instead of being uncomfortable by that he was only like actually that’s not the biggest problem 🤓☝️(loved that btw)

Like maybe not trans but more like gender fluid/ gender non conforming? Fits in with the can’t bound such powerful beings by the concept of gender thing.

But more importantly how does he feel about his beloved befriending the Trogs (🥹) ? And also since time would have passed, there dynamic changed too? Like before they get the prophecy (do they still get one?) when nico hears the voices, chronos is defo there, so will we get a after-a-nightmare scene 😭 ?? Norn9 Var Commons

There is a girl who watched the anime of Norn9 back in 2016 and well, the anime was pretty bad (and kinda ugly xD) but she still felt kinda interested by the characters and the universe that it stuck in her mind for a long time....especially since she had a big otp in it and the anime never made them canon at the end, the frustration....

The girl soon learned that the anime was actually a bad adaptation of a visual novel game of the same name. She wasn’t playing many at that time because the most of the VN were on PS Vita and the poor girl couldn’t afford one (and wasn’t interested either). So she waited, hoping that someday, the game will be exported on pc or a console she would possess.

And this year, her wish came true ; Otomate group brought Norn9 on switch with a fixed english translation (apparently the previous one was bad) and more contents <3

Ok first, let me be clear, yes I definitely bought the game because I NEEDED TO SEE MY OTP FINALLY BE CANON xD it was for my own mental health lol 7 years of craving guys (TTvTT). I didn’t even start by this one though to not be biased about each routes (it was my 4th routes!!! I’VE BEEN PATIENT) and well, IT WAS STILL THE BEST ROUTE IM SORRY, AKito x Nanami best pair for sure <3333

That being said, how was the game? well, definitely better than the anime xD less confusing and more focused as well...even though the story isn’t always clear and consistent :

❤ An unusual otome since it gives you the choice between 3 different heroines, each with their own LI. They each have their own characteristics and are never relegated to the background, which is really cool for their personal development. Another positive point; THEY ARE DUBBED!!! (I hate when everyone is dubbed except for the girl, it's so annoying ><) ❤ An amazing cast with endearing characters, even the most secondary or the most horrible x) ❤ A very nice chara-design and frankly beautiful illustrations. ❤A beautiful OST which I never get tired of even after 40 hours of play ;) ❤ ALL.THE.EXTRAS!!!! (mini-games + bonus dub on the illustrations + mini comics etc...) ❤ An appreciated fast skip system which, compared to the normal skip, allows you to skip all the dialogues already read at once and which saves a lot of time when you just want to unlock an ending or an illustration.

+/- I really liked the sci-fi aspect of the universe and the story brought a lot of mystery and even surprises..but still there are inconsistencies in how each routes are put together. The universe is getting a little imprecise bcs of that.

✖ The epilogue and the character of Sorata. Sorata is not a bad character but we could very well have removed him that it would not have changed anything I think. He is supposed to be the main character at first but disappears completely in favor of the heroines. And when his route comes with the epilogue, it's so rushed that we don't even have time to appreciate his arc and his role in the story. The poor kid deserved better :/ ✖ The use of first/last names in the English translation is very distracting. For example, we hear the heroine call her companion "Kakeru" in the dubbing but it will be written "Yuiga" in the dialog box. And it happens a lot and I don't understand why the translation just couldn't follow the audio dialogues… ✖ I have a pbm with Ron's route because I didn't feel any real chemistry with Nanami. It's also the only route where I didn't feel any sparks between the characters.

It took me 40h+ to finish so yeah, that's a big one ;) I'd recommend just for the heroines bcs it's a nice change to have more than one but also because the girls are adorable, smart and brave <3 It's rare for me to appreciate that much the main girl tbh!

     Mum laughs, again, and he has to shove her wing away with an indignant cheep this time 'cause seriously, that's not very nice! There's nothing silly 'bout his worries, stop laughing at him!

     "Oh— no no, forgive me, I'm not laughing at you, my sweet," she says, reading his mind, warm and fond and not at all ashamed. Muuuum. "But you saw Link off this morning, didn't you?"

     Uh-huh, so? What does seeing Link off this morning have to do with him being gone for who knows how long right now? "S'that s'pposed to mean something?"

     She looks at him like he's said something real funny, but at least she isn't laughing. "And you still miss him?"

     Duh! "Yeah!!" Why wouldn't he miss someone as neat and amazing and not-boring as Link? "Y'know, y'know, he shoots soooo quick! He got all the targets when he was showing me how he uses the bow yesterday!"

     "So I've heard—"

     "And-and he's so cool, he showed me how to say this!" Tulin leans over the edge of his hammock, ignoring how Mum's trying to gently nudge him back into lying down, and points at himself with a light tap to his chest. With the biggest smile, he then splays his feathers out in a brief hover, pinching his first and third remiges together and pulling the wing forward, before ending the motion by turning his wing 'round to point at her. "That's how he says 'I like you'!"

     "Oh!" Mum chuckles, and that's okay 'cause it doesn't feel as mean now, "That was very nice of him to teach you."

     "Uh-huh!" The nicest!

     "Well, Tulin," she presses a wing on him again, a bit harder this time, and he lets her guide him back into their night-night setup. "I don't think anybody can make time go faster, but the sun rises sooner for the early bird. The quicker you fall asleep, the quicker you'll get to see him!"

     Mm...that sounds like it makes sense. But, just in case: "You promise?"

He thinks it's ridiculous. The implication that he has no self control is insulting. He isn't a child.

"It's just so you don't peek and ruin the surprise" is what you had said before slipping the blindfold over his eyes. You spin him around a few times and you can feel him rolling his eyes at your antics but the grumbles die in his throat as you lace your fingers through his to lead him to this surprise of yours.

Suguru has a better internal compass than you realise so your plan of leading him to the car, driving around the block a few times, then returning home had failed before it even began. Not that he would tell you, of course. You'd been chattering happily the entire time and he had no intention of ruining your mood.

He's been instructed to sit (on what he discerns is the couch you both picked out together) while you scramble to get something else. He listens to your footsteps fade towards the kitchen, calling out "don't peek!" over your shoulder. There's the striking of a match and then you're padding over to him.

The couch dips under your weight and finally finally he gets to remove the blindfold.

"Happy birthday!"

Your light is contagious and he feels his mouth stretching into a matching grin as he surveys the living room. The lights are turned down low and you've strung up balloons from the ceiling. The low centre table is buckling under the weight of sheer volume of plates and bottles lining it. There's a plush new blanket draped over the back of the couch and wrapped boxes litter the floor at his feet.

And Suguru looks at you again. Takes a moment to appreciate the sparkle in your eyes and the way your nose is all crinkled up from how widely you're smiling.

"Make a wish." You're holding out the cake to him, a simple thing that you made yourself. A short breathy laugh escapes him before he humours you, leaning in to blow against the flickering flame of the solitary candle stationed in the centre of the cake.

As he watches the trails of smoke swirl in the air, he knows he made the right wish, knows that there was really only one option anyway.

"So what'd you wish for?" You're practically buzzing with excitement.

He leans in to press a kiss to your cheek, "Can't tell or it won't come true."

Geto Suguru may not be superstitious but he isn't doing anything that could jeopardise spending every lifetime with you.
