(Am I cheating and using markers now? I sure am, I've had enough of pencils on this paper.)

Notable mention: the thick golden and black markers I've used in these last two pieces are ~grave inscription fixing markers~ bc I'm this edgy (kidding, they're just really good markers).

Notable mention 2: for someone who loves drawing eyes and absolutely hates drawing hands the hand-eye ratio so far is 7-0 (6-0 if we're not counting the skeleton hand and the eyes here that are closed). I have left my comfort zone and never looked back (and for that, THANK YOU AGAIN, LEVYNN!!!)

trying to beat back the part of my brain currently insisting that my place in fandom is earned through creating things, and if i'm not doing that then i'm ""falling behind"" or some bullshit. objectively yes i KNOW it's not true and that's not how this space works. yes i know that fandom isn't a job. and YET here i am anyway stuck with some kind of internal voice that's a cross between imposter syndrome and a shift manager grumbling at me and i'm begging for it to shut up

#and the thing is my brain is specifically picking at the fact that i'm not writing fic #the meta and analysis and photo edits gifs translations whatever all counts as creation. i know that #i'm genuinely having fun with those things and tbh i've never had a fandom where i got to focus so much on analysis especially #and i also know that fandom is not something you have to be a creator in to have a place. also we all have lives outside of fandom #but i hung too much of my value as a person and in fandom on my fiction writing skill in high school #and apparently we still haven't fully gotten over that yet. do not recommend #ughfjdjsjsk i need. to listen to my podcast. and do some colouring. and nap #ashton originals #is this the real life
