I don't yet. When I finish up my re-read, I'm going to gather ALL of the DOTC cats and start dividing them up into the three cultural groups. After getting them all in bundles, I'm going to whip them up into proper family trees.

If you're asking about canon's family tree... I can make it if you'd like, but I'd just be showing you the ticking timebomb of genetic diversity they set up for themselves. It's all Quiet Rainkin and random forest cats, most introduced after book 3. None of the other settlers had grandchildren and the living children have no mates.

None of Turtle Tail's kits have kits; one is in a vow of chastity

There's nothing to "preserve" about the canon tree, unfortunately. It's not really a "tree," it's more like a couple of bubbles with a ton of dead women floating around outside.

Here's all the pairings in the Quiet Rainkin family, as contrast;

So... bottom line is, something like 50% of births were coming out of the Quiet Rainkin family, and they account for something like 30% of cats with existing family at all.

Personally, I think that's awful in a prequel arc that's supposed to be about ancestors. So I'm going to be making whole families for BB.

shifting sands: if the sands shifting around don't bury you, you'll still have no idea where you are. there's a constant risk of being attacked by sand beasts that hide underneath the sand. the longer you stay there, the stronger a hum calling you to die in the centre becomes. you might be able to escape over the bordering wall if you don't get buried alive or eaten first

maze of the beast: a large partially flooded underground labyrinth. you can't rest for too long or the liquid dripping down the walls will solidify on your shoulders and trap you. you can't move too fast or the beast in question (giant slug) will sense your vibrations and trap you for later eating. you might be able to escape through a crack in the wall if you don't get eaten or trapped in them first

I have a question about pain and fainting. Some people say that passing out from pain isn't instant, but I've heard stories of really bad injuries and they pass out almost instantly so we know its not blood loss. Who's right?

Long story short: yes and no

Your body can pass out from shock or stress nearly instantly, but pain itself tends to creep up more slowly, often leaving the person awake just unmoving. It's entirely dependent on the person and the situation, but you're more likely to pass out instantaneously from the panic of seeing your femur sticking out your abdomen than you are from the buildup of pain from that, if that makes sense.

Remember that bodies and minds are weird and unique. If anyone tells you 'thats not how bodies work', that that with a grain of salt. Some people are born with like 10 kidneys. Some have two hearts. Some sleep with their eyes open and focused. Bodies are weird and how or when you pass out is so incredibly varied, I'm not gonna tell you what is or isn't possible.

Three red ones and one that *squints* looks blue connected to a supporting character (Title?), but still, the only blue arrow with a double side direction. The character that is supposed to be the whore that destroys the friend group has got three total. First has more slut arrows than Force. I'm gonna go throw up all of my remaining braincells that aren't already melted by this bastard show

Are you keeping Mousefur's and Purdy's friendship? I honestly found it sweet that Mousefur miss called a clan meeting to complain about outsiders still became friends with Purdy.

I think Thornclaw is the only one of the little group that didn't change at all. Dustpelt was absolutely ashamed of himself after Frostfur hit him with the, "Im not mad im just disappointed" and Mousefur was so embarassed she retired over it.

She is eventually in the Elder's den with Frostfur, Goldenflower, Purdy, and Iceheart. Imo the den should always have like 3 cats at least, it's a shame they shrunk it after TPB.

She doesn't lose her bigotry entirely though. She has more of a... "Purdy and Iceheart are fine because they're different" kind of mentality you're better off not pushing. Ok grandma let's get you back to bingo.
