Happy 5th anniversary to DELTARUNE Chapter 1! To celebrate I've drawn a few festive pictures! I'm playing with the idea that Forestgrove is Halloween-themed to match with New Home/The Capital being Christmas-themed.

In case you didn't check your mail or hear the news, we got a cool little Halloween newsletter from Toby last night! I swear to you I had these sketched before the newsletter went out I just planned to post them today because, well, it's Halloween. I'd say it's too bad that we don't have a newsletter too, but also we don't really have anything to report on.

Admittedly I've been a bit behind on OTHERSWAP things because I've been busy with other interests & hobbies, but maybe we'll have something nice by the end of the year! Maybe. It'd be thematically appropriate at least.

As always, feel free to ask us anything about the AU or even just to say hi! With the news that Chapter 3 & 4 are well underway (maybe even releasing sooner than we expected since 5 is getting dropped from this release?!) I hope we get some more info about the Holidays.

Happy 5TH Anniversary UNDERTALE!! ❤

Long post ahead!

As is tradition, every year for Undertale's anniversary, I draw a big group shot of all the main characters to celebrate!

This year, I set a bit bigger of a project for myself, using bigger paper and paint, along with drawing a more interesting composition and more dynamic poses, and I love how it turned out! I hope you all do too!

Also, do let me know guys if you want to see me compare this drawing to the previous anniversary drawings, including the very first one I drew back before I made this blog!

So, what can I say about this game that I haven't already said these past five years? I mean, five years. That's somehow both not a lot of time, and also a LOT of time.

I could talk about how this game changed my life, and made me improve in my art, and helped my feel happy in hard times, and so on and so on. But I feel like I might be repeating myself, so to keep it short, here's my thoughts after being a fan of the for 5 years.

I have literally learned so much from being a fan of this game. But this year in particular; I have made so many new friends due our shared interest in the game.

I've mainly always been alone in my enjoyment of Undertale, but at the start of this year I have made friends through Discord! I've played games with them, shared headcannons and theories, and have just gotten to know them better, despite having never met them in person.

And it hasn't even been a year of knowing them, but I love them all dearly and always look foaward to talking to and discussing our love for Undertale with them. It's like in the game when Frisk befriends the monsters, even though we barley know each other outside of Discord, it really feels like we all have bonded.

So if you guys are reading this, I know I've shared the drawing already with yall, but I just want to say thank you all for being my friends and, okay this is sappy but I love yall!!

So yeah, I have come really far in terms of drawing and have just grown as a person. I'm in a way better place than I was in 2015, but I still have a way to go, so here's to another 5 years!

Thank you Toby Fox, Temmie Chang and the UT team for this game; I can't wait to see what you all do with the franchise in the future, especially Deltarune!
