i HATE it when people draw jareth without wrinkles or without some form of messed up eyes (whether it be anisocoria like bowie actually had or heterochromia) or with straight perfect teeth or with a petite little nose!!! jareth is MEANT to be physically aging its stated explicitly in the novelization + his actor was 40!!! bowie just looks a little funny (in the best way possible, and tbf that's what he was going for in the early 70's) and that's what made him charming and pretty!!!! i get that jareth is the definition of a tumblr sexyman but even a tumblr sexyman can have some stereotypically unattractive physical quirks and still be pretty and charming and manipulative! where is the goddamn flavor

why does kaz never smile?

First off - Kaz definitely smiles! I think he smiles as early as the first few chapters in, talking to Inej about the job offer, making fun with Jesper, even snarking at Nina.

I think generally he’s a quite reserved character to promote his professionalism during a job, but we also see him lose control of his emotions and his external processing quite a bit. He is a teenager after all — but in general he’s pretty good at appearing as if he’s in control of himself, which is a testament to how hard he’s worked to craft the image of Dirtyhands since he arrived in Ketterdam.

Still, I think it’s a stretch to say he never smiles. It’s my due diligence to remind you of Kaz’s shit-eating grin as he watches Inej and Jesper and Wylan bust out of the Ice Court in a tank. And “Kings and queens, Inej.” Just sayin’.
