have you ever drawn Pitch before? i think you’ve drawn every character outside of him and North? i’m so curious on how they’d look like in your style!! (ps your style is so cool?! underated!)

Every drawing I have of pitch I’ve kept and buried since he is one of the few I feel I cannot get to look right 😭

Here are a couple I did a while ago!! I can never get to my clean lineart stage with him but here we are (also I’ve always loved concept art pitch so that’s where the sillies came from)

As for north, I always draw him silly ( but I promise to do something cooler cuz duh it’s NORTH) have a silly north

realtalk about casting: annabeth mattered SO. MUCH. to me as a kid, and that was when I only identified with her as another bright, fiesty, amibitious girl with ADHD (something that manifests differently for us with our gender and how we present in things like our interests, school, etc). and to see her now as an actual adult in architecture school (still with ADHD in an ableist af industry) and realizing that the discrimination she'd face as a woc resembles mine so much more now... that's so powerful and it's such a gift, and I hope kids like me are watching too

So I've been having a hard time getting myself to draw... anything recently, and kinda figured I should do something different. Thus, I ended up drawing this work after watching Moriah Elizabeth's "anti artstyle" challenge.

basically the first three characters I wanted to feel like something ME would make, while the final one would be kinda the opposite of what I think of when I think of her work.

Lazarus… The main character for The New Thing I’m Working On™️…. look at those obnoxious heeled boots… What a bitchass

(Actual Information Under The Cut Lol!!!)

Lazarus is a priest in his church, he’s a cold and calculated guy who’s not exactly nice but he isn’t mean either! His life gets fucked over when he summons an angel during a prayer… and now that Angel wants him to do his bidding… Ruh oh!

The Angel he summoned are the eyes/wings seen around him (it has a form but this is how it looks when it possesses/inhabits Lazarus’ body which is most of the time…)

Nobody can see the eyes/wings unless the Angel fully possesses and controls Lazarus’ body (and also his eyes glow bright yellow!)

Lazarus is unable to die/can cure his own wounds (eg: if he breaks a bone, the Angel will fix it for him no matter how painful it is… Ouch!)
