can you imagine if someone said that they are severely depressed and the only way to feel better is to hunt endangered animals for sport? like we would all agree that this person shouldn't do that just because it's the only thing that makes them happy and that maybe they should a. go to therapy and b. find something less harmful, right? well i just saw someone said they use ai art bcs they are disabled and cant draw anymore so-

#m #art stuff #ai art #ive thought sometimes about how devastating it would be if i lost my sight and couldnt draw anymore #or do many of the things i love because they require me to see #and it's a very scary thought honestly #but i would just learn to move on and find something else to do #like. you know. what every blind person has to do because that's just life #but i wouldnt start doing unethical stuff like ai art which steals from other artists #also genuine question but what do you get from using ai to generate an image #i enjoy making my ocs on picrew but that can never replace the joy of drawing something myself #and it's astonishing to see an artist say that ai can replace that feeling #also not to be that person but beethoven was deaf and he is the greatest composer of all time #there are blind people who make incredible art and deaf people who make amazing music #having a disability is still not an excuse. and if it's really preventing you from creating art then do something else #im depressed and barely draw but i've learnt to do other creative stuff like gifs and edits #using your disability to defend something that hurts artist is honestly disgusting and anyone who does so should be ashamed of themselves

#💟#Full art #Digital art #Art #Edgar #Scriabin #Deltarune #Crossover #Brainrot brainrot brainrot #I'd like to say that I made this when I was deep in the Spamton brainrot but that would imply that I /finished/ it while I was still in hell #Which was not quite the case lol #According to my footage this took me about 9 hours in total from start to finish and that was over the course of a couple weeks so yeah #Honestly a pretty good turnaround for a lofty project hehe ♪#Also ta-dah! The error boxes! This was the project I originally made them for ♥#This actually originally started as a warmup project - I'd do one little section at a time until I was happy with how many -#Then go off and do art for the day - come back and line - do other art - come colour - do other art - very back and forth #It was relaxing ♪ And fun to design a big scary monster fusion haha #I guess it'd probably be SpamNEO and Edgar? Since he Big lol #I don't have an excuse for the teeth I just thought they'd be fun to draw and I was right lol #It's probably a bit on the Edgar-heavy side of a fusion but I did still try to incorporate a bunch of little Spam signifiers #His rosy cheeks bleeding into the scars - pun intended - and the puppet strings going from neon green to bright red are probably my faves #Oh and the beady pink and yellow eyes hehe ♥#He'd be completely insufferable haha - proselytizing and preaching up and down! Religious imagery up to 11 haha #I also thought it'd be fun to have Scriabin at about the scale of his action figure but y'know - himself lol #Still trying to pick at him but there's somebody else in there now! How scary #This was a fun one #Oh yeah and also ft. the speedpaint! pretty sure i just got a spider bite while trying to fall asleep 🧍

#i thought it was just a stray hair on my elbow under the blanket and kept trying to shake it off #and then i finally went to brush it off w my hand and felt a bump there #and then it was unbearably itchy so i turned the lamp on to apply some anti-itch stuff bc it was driving me nuts #and i was trying to see where it was on my elbow bc wtf when did i get bit #and then i looked at it and it was very pale like a fresh bite and then there was some skin torn like a spider bite #i cant tell if theres two little holes or not and honestly idk if spiders always leave two fang marks fjdkdl #but it doesnt look like a mosquito bite unless i tore the skin myself from scratching at it #but the way it is looking... very similar to past spider bites #anyways i just removed everything from my bed and methodically searched Everything. looked all around the bed too. cannot find a spider #so. shrug. <- actually very afraid #but the thing that makes me Really think it's a spider is that the bump was super pale and now after a little while it is regular skintone #so that makes me think it was a brand new fresh bite the way it was a different colour and now its normal looking #which is uhhh scary! to have had a spider possibly in my bed!#and I can't find it so i simply do not Know and that is going to make it so hard to sleep tonight fjfkdl #man i barely ate today too so im just... really not doing well at this very moment fjfkdl #i cant eat anything rn though bc i already brushed my teeth and i dont want to do that again tonight fjfkdl #but i am. so hungry. augh. idk what I'd even eat anyways im too anxious to stomach anything #WHERE IS THIS SPIDER. Just started thinking about my department and my program and now I'm stressed out again

#i have to pick an advisor. hell and death #i mean i have an advisor it's fine ig #but still. hell and death #AND i looked at the feedback email again and got stressed #which is 100% on me like i need to learn to have emotional reactions that aren't run away and hide in a corner #it honestly is overall a very positive letter like apparently my professors liked my essays and my thoughts in class #but there is the question of the absences which is definitely a problem and it's called i have undiagnosed somethingaruther for sure #see the issue there is that i need to get a diagnosis. and put in the work. and i don't want to do that ;-;#<- i do but it's just hard and my ability to difficult things has died a terrible death in the last three to five years #perce rambles #i HAVE to get better at doing things that scare me and/or make me uncomfortable. regrettably that is. you'll never guess it.#also a scary and uncomfortable thing. which we are not good at rn #and thus the vicious cycle continues

my sister has taken to calling really fucking normal ass opinions "radically liberal" and i am so so so tired. so unbelievably tired. i thought university was supposed to turn u into a leftist, not just give you more language to shit on leftist politics. what the fuck.
