atsumu cannot, and i mean cannot, get his hands off of you. well, not in that way, but in an affectionate way! he always grabs your hand whenever you’re walking with him out in public; if not that, then he has his hand on your waist. when you aren’t holding his hand while walking in public, he tends to give you grabby hands, always reaching out to intertwine your fingers together.

osamu, words of affirmation — !

he has his way with words. although sometimes he can’t seem to find the right words in some situations (after all, no one is really perfect), you will always find him assuring you when you need it. other than that, he loves complimenting you and telling you that you look good—and that he loves you, of course.

kita, acts of service — !

kita shows his love through actions. opening the door for you whenever you’re entering a room together, cooking up your favorite meal whenever you’re down because he knows you love his cooking—actions speak louder than words for kita. it’s his own way of saying that he loves you.

ok but the latest haikyuu buu chapter has me thinking about sakuatsu as That Couple that hosts all the get togethers among their friends with atsumu being the one to cook up all the savory dishes (with cooking skills picked up since childhood but also mostly from osamu) and omi the one to make the yummiest desserts that would put pastries from high end bakeries to shame because he’s perfected all the recipes of every single pastry there is (he doesn’t do things half assed after all)

msby movie nights? not complete without tsumu’s signature chili. teammate’s birthday? best to show up at sakuatsu’s apartment on time to see sakusa’s two-tier chiffon cake (with a design that’s always in theme with the party!) before it gets completely devoured. inarizaki vbc reunion? it’s a shabu-shabu party along with atsumu’s yakitori, karaage, gyoza, and okonomiyaki. there are no leftovers, but there’s always room for the funfetti cupcakes sakusa brings out after everything’s devoured. btw all their food is made by sakusa-approved sanitary checks and quality control (he has since then convinced atsumu to start wearing a fox-printed bandana like his own weasel-printed one while cooking)

actually, it’s not even limited to events anymore. if bokuto is looking to bring sweet treats with him when he visits akaashi in tokyo but is wary of his aversion to overly sweet things, omi will bake him a batch of cookies made with dark cocoa chunks instead of the usual milk chocolate. atsumu whips up a bento at least twice a week for his brother (complete with those rice balls made to look like tiny pandas with nori) because the scrub gets too hands-on with his business and forgets to eat (he won’t admit it’s to repay osamu for all those times he made bento boxes for atsumu who wasn’t yet quite used to his new living conditions in the msby dorms back then). suna will request for sakusa’s lemon squares his mom and sister love so much whenever he visits them in aichi, and meian will stop by every so often to pick up atsumu’s smoked salmon carbonara his wife has become obsessed with ever since he brought home leftovers from their last msby hangout

i just love thinking about sakuatsu with food as their love language to all their friends, because it’s what they grew up with. little omi with his parents who always make his favorite dishes when they come home from overseas business trips because nothing can quite compare to their cooking. little atsumu who grew up with weekends spent in their grandma’s bustling house back in hyogo where there was always something cooking, and a lot of food going around for him and osamu and their cousins and aunts and uncles

they joke about quitting professional volleyball to put up their own restaurant. their restaurant locations will all be in the vicinity of onigiri miya branches and will serve their own version of homemade onigiri. to make up for becoming competition, osamu (and all their friends and family) will be entitled to lifetime discounts in sakuatsu’s establishment. they’ll hang their msby and jnt jerseys even if it doesn’t go with the interior design to pay homage to the sport that’s brought them together. and they seriously consider delving into the industry upon officially retiring from the pros once they hit their late 30s, but not before they tie the knot. it’s not their own food served at the wedding (which they think is superior compared to the fancy catering) but it’s fine because they’ll have a lifetime ahead of them to keep cooking for themselves and their loved ones 🤍

Twin Idiots - Osamu

Prompt: sick Osamu, caretaker Suna ft. caretakers Kita and Aran (Michinari is here too, but he doesn't do that much tbh)

Osamu with the flu and a very high fever, he tries to hide that he's sick from Suna and almost passes out on the school, has a lot of nightmares and is kind of delirious

Word count: 2433 words

If you couldn't tell, there will be a separate Atsumu version of this fic coming soon. I didn't include any nightmares, but if this fic does well enough, I'll write a (hopefully) short ficlet to follow this fic up and focus on the nightmares and delirium, so let me know what you think!

(Suna doesn't have an accent because I remember reading somewhere that he's from Tokyo originally, but idk if that's right, so if it's not, please forgive me and pretend it's my own headcanon, not me forgetting where Suna's from.)

‘It’s really chilly today,’ Osamu notices, shivering under his coat. While winter was never warm, Osamu can’t remember the last time he’s felt so cold. Even his long walk to the Inarizaki gym does nothing to warm him up. Osamu snuggles into his jacket as he trudges on. It’s not snowing yet, but the sky is cloudy and ominously gray, so Osamu doesn’t expect the ground to stay snow-free for long.

Osamu doesn’t have to put up with his idiot brother today, at least. Tsumu had left for his fancy volleyball camp in Tokyo for the entire week the day before, so Osamu is on his own in Hyogo. Osamu and Tsumu attended together last year, but when Osamu’s invitation failed to arrive along with Tsumu’s this year, he can’t say he was too surprised. Osamu has never been as into volleyball as Tsumu.

Osamu has his own interests, like cooking and chemistry, that he’s far more passionate about. Volleyball is fun, but Osamu knows he won’t be doing it for the rest of his life like Tsumu probably will. Tsumu will always put more into volleyball than Osamu, and that resulted in him being invited to the All-Japan Youth Intensive Training Camp while his brother was not.

Osamu’s not upset by any means. He’s enjoying the separation from his twin. For one week, Osamu can have his own room, cook whatever he feels like, and watch as many cooking shows as he pleases. It’s a weeklong vacation from his ridiculously loud brother, and Osamu intends to enjoy every second of it.

When Osamu finally reaches the gym, he relishes in the warmth of the cozy gym. It’s a welcome change from the frigid air outside, and now Osamu is finally warm enough to shed his coat after shutting the gym door. Most of his teammates are already in the gym, either changing or warming up. Inarizaki may be on winter break, but Kita was adamant that his team continue to practice, even with Tsumu away at camp.

Osamu is already in his practice gear, opting for donning a sweatsuit over top of his shorts and tee-shirt due to the freezing weather. Osamu dumps his coat, bag, and other belongings along the wall before stashing his water bottle on the bench. Suna hasn’t shown up yet, so Osamu begins his warmup stretches alone. By the time Osamu has stretched his legs and hips, Suna and the rest of the team have finally assembled in the gym.

Once everyone is ready, Kita gives out instructions for what everyone will practice today. Most players are assigned exercises or drills for their current position, but Osamu isn’t so lucky. With Tsumu gone, Kita decides to use his absence as an excuse to work on Osamu’s setting. Osamu isn’t thrilled about the idea, but at least Kita, Michinari, and Suna will be working with him today, so practice shouldn’t be too miserable.

They begin simply, with Osamu setting to just Suna. Suna spikes Osamu’s set, Michinari digs up the spike, and Kita sends the ball over the net for Osamu to practice setting mid-rally. They continue the drill for a while, so Osamu can get in a grove before he tries more difficult sets later on. Osamu doesn’t love setting as much as Tsumu does, but he will admit that he’s enjoying the easy rhythm of the drill a lot. It’s a nice change of pace from his usual blocking and spiking, and Osamu enjoys setting to his best friend much more than he thought he would.

But Osamu’s enjoyment doesn’t last. When Kita finally sends them off for a water break, Osamu is feeling off. His muscles ache constantly, and he’s oddly cold despite the snug warmth of the gym. Osamu takes a sip of water from his bottle and sits on the ground in front of the bench. He leans his head against the bench and glances up at the gym ceiling. This proves to be a mistake as the bright ceiling lights cause a headache to flare in his temples. Osamu lowers his head and focuses on finishing his water, hoping futilely that he was just a little dehydrated.

Kita calls Osamu, Michinari, and Suna back to the court for more practice. This time, Aran joins them too. Kita explains the new drill they’ll be working on now. ‘It’s basically the same as the other drill,’ Osamu thinks quietly. The only difference between the drills was that now Osamu can choose between setting to Suna or Aran.

They get to work, and Osamu quickly adjusts to having a new spiker. His sets to Aran aren’t as clean or precise as Suna’s, but Osamu knows his sets are improving with every toss. Osamu’s headache also increases with every toss, but he doesn’t want to think about that. Kita will give him hell for practicing with a headache, and Osamu doesn’t want to get chewed out like Tsumu did when Kita caught him practicing with a cold. So Osamu stays quiet while they practice. Even as his headache gives way to nausea, and his body trembles with small shivers whenever he stands still for too long.

By the time Kita calls for another water break, Osamu is miserable. His arms ache fiercely from setting, and his legs are so shaky that he barely makes it back off the court. Suna fixes Osamu with a blank stare as soon as Osamu manages to stumble to the bench. Kita and Aran also stare at Osamu, but they remain silent. Osamu shifts awkwardly, eventually opting to lean forward and stare at the ground because that position lessened his headache the most. Osamu’s teammates still say nothing. The minute of silence between the four of them is almost as painful as Osamu’s raging headache, and that’s saying something because Osamu is pretty sure his brain is trying to escape from his skull with how hard his head is pounding.

Finally, Suna opens his mouth. “You’re an idiot, Samu.”

“No ‘m not,” Osamu mutters weakly.

“You are,” Suna insists. “You’re one big, sick idiot, Samu.”

“But ‘m not sick,” Osamu whines quietly. He knows he is, but he can’t bring himself to admit to being sick because then Kita will lecture him for practicing when he’s sick. Osamu can handle a lot of things, from a moping Tsumu to an Instagram-crazy Suna, but Osamu cannot handle a Kita lecture. Kita isn’t the type to yell or swear, but he always sounds so disappointed, and Osamu can’t stand disappointing someone he admires so much over such a stupid mistake.

“I hope you’re lying, Samu, because if you’re not, you’re a lot stupider than I thought you were,” Suna frowns slightly. “Maybe even stupider than your dumb twin.”

“Take tha’ back, ya jerk,” Osamu slurs, lifting his head to look at Suna’s near-expressionless face.

“Then stop acting like an idiot,” Suna counters, his voice still a steady monotone. “You need to go home. Like, now.”

Osamu sighs tiredly, lowering his head to face the ground again. His body agrees with Suna completely, but somehow, Osamu still doesn’t want to leave. Maybe it’s his hypercompetitive instincts from practicing with Tsumu so much, but Osamu doesn’t want to leave until practice is finally over. It’s completely ridiculous, Osamu knows, because he doesn’t even love volleyball that much. But Osamu hates leaving things half-finished, even if his body burns with fever, and his head throbs with every breath.

Osamu remains silent, so Suna takes matters into his own hands. Suna slides off the bench and stands in front of Osamu. Suna bends down and takes Osamu’s shaking hands in his own warm, steady ones. Then he gently pulls Osamu to his feet.

Osamu’s body strongly protests the sudden position change. Osamu’s headache intensifies to a new level of excruciating pain, and intense dizziness makes Osamu’s head spin. Osamu desperately tries to keep his balance, but his weakened body doesn’t stand a chance against the sudden but fierce wave of lightheadedness. Osamu’s body pitches dangerously as shadows creep into the edges of his vision. He feebly reaches for Suna, trying to steady himself before faints onto the gym floor.

Osamu tilts forward, his chin coming to rest on Suna’s shoulder before Osamu’s knees give out completely. Suna squawks in surprise as he suddenly finds himself bearing all of Osamu’s weight. Suna carefully guides them both to the floor as Kita and Aran dart off the bench to offer aid.

Osamu is still conscious (somehow), so he is distantly aware of everything his friends do to help him. Kita and Aran grab Osamu’s shoulders and pull him off Suna. They settle Osamu on his back lying prone on the gym floor. Suna takes Osamu’s ankles and holds them up at chest level to get some blood flowing back towards Osamu’s head. Michinari zooms off, returning seconds later with his and Aran’s duffle bags. Michinari stacks them to an acceptable height, and Suna rests Osamu’s feet on the bags.

Kita pillows Osamu’s head in his lap. “Osamu,” Kita calls softly, “are ya still with us?”

“Hm…? Yeah…” Osamu mumbles as his hazy eyes lock on Suna, who’s still kneeling by Osamu’s feet. “’m with ya…”

“Tha’s good,” Kita smiles gently. He rests a soft hand lightly on Osamu’s forehead. “Ya have a wicked fever there, Osamu. Do ya want some water?”

“Ya,” Osamu nods weakly. “‘m thirsty.”

“Here, Samu.” Aran offers the sick boy a water bottle, but Osamu’s hands are shaking too hard to hold it without splashing water everywhere, so Kita helps Osamu sit up more while Aran holds the bottle.

Osamu drinks greedily, only stopping to gasp for breath every few gulps. Aran sets the bottle on the floor once Osamu empties it completely. Osamu’s appearance has improved considerably by now. His face is regaining color, his eyes aren’t foggy, and his body has stopped trembling like a leaf in the autumn wind. Kita and Aran help him sit all the way up, and when he still looks okay, they beckon Michinari and Suna over to help them get Osamu standing.

Once Osamu is on his feet, Aran and Suna support the sick blocker by his shoulders. Kita goes to explain the situation to their coaches while Michinari does the same for the rest of the team, who had slowly stopped practicing once they noticed what was going on with Osamu.

Suna and Aran slowly walk Osamu to the door. They stop briefly to haphazardly dress Osamu in his coat as well as Suna’s hat and Aran’s scarf. Ginjima, who has slipped away from the team gather with Michinari, holds the door open for them. Ginjima has the trio’s bags. He passes off Osamu’s bag to Suna along with Suna’s own bag while giving Aran his bag too.

“Ginjima,” Aran says as he and Suna maneuver Osamu out the door, “please let Kita know we’re leavin’.”

“Sure,” Ginjima agrees, eyeing Osamu worriedly. “Are ya takin’ him home?”

“Yeah,” Suna replies. “He’s going straight to bed when we get there since he won’t rest unless we make him.”

“Okay. Good luck, then.” Ginjima wishes them well with a wave before he closes the gym door.

Suna and Aran make the agonizingly slow trip to the Miya household. It takes them over an hour to get Osamu home. By the time they reach the front door, snow flurries are falling onto their hair and eyelashes. It takes another fifteen minutes to get Osamu upstairs, changed, and settled into bed.

Osamu’s parents aren’t home, so it’s up to Aran and Suna to find Osamu medicine, water, and food. Suna tackles the food because Aran admits that he’s never done more than boil water, and Osamu will kill them for destroying his kitchen, even if he’s burning with an extremely high fever (the thermometer Aran finds in the bathroom reads 39.5°C after resting under Osamu’s tongue for a minute). Suna reheats leftover rice he finds in the Miya’s refrigerator and dumps it in a bowl. It’s hardly gourmet cuisine, but Osamu will be too loopy to care anyway. Suna also fills a glass with water before carrying both things up to the twins’ shared bedroom.

Aran is sitting on a chair across from Osamu, who is snuggled up on the bottom bunk. Aran takes the water from Suna and forces Osamu to swallow both the fever reducers he’s found and the entire glass of water. Once Osamu’s finished, Suna presents him with the bowl of reheated rice. Osamu only finished half of it, but Suna didn’t expect much more, even with Osamu’s reputation for his voracious appetite.

“I have ta go home now,” Aran admits as he gathers the bowl and glass. “Are ya goin’ to stay with him?”

“Yeah, at least until his parents get home,” Suna nods. “We can’t leave him alone when he’s like this.”

“Ya,” Aran agrees. “I’ll clean this up before I go. I left the medicine on tha bathroom sink, and the thermometer’s right there.” He nods to the thermometer lying next to Osamu’s pillow. “Thanks fer stayin’ with him, Suna.”

“S’not a problem,” Suna hums lightly. “You should get going before your mom comes looking for you.”

Aran laughs, “Good point. I’ll see ya later, Suna.”

Aran leaves, taking the bowl and cup with him, so now it’s just him and Osamu in the bedroom. Suna reaches out to ruffle Osamu’s gray hair. “You’re still an idiot, Samu.”

“I know,” Osamu cracks his eyes open slightly and smiles, “but yer not.”

“Obviously,” Suna smirks, “but you’re not as stupid as Tsumu. Not yet, at least.”

“Gee, thanks, Suna,” Osamu laughs faintly. “Thanks fer stayin’.”

“You didn’t seriously think I’d leave with you like this, did you?” Suna raises a slim eyebrow.

“Nah,” Osamu smiles, “yer too good of a friend fer that.”

“You’re getting soft on me, Samu,” Suna smiles back.

“I’m sick, ya jerk,” Osamu huffs. “I’m allowed ta be soft.”

“You are sick,” Suna concedes, “but you’re still an idiot, and sick idiots need sleep.”

“Who’s gettin’ soft again?” Osamu quips, but his eyes still slip shut without protest.

“Goodnight, Samu.” Suna pats Osamu’s head gently as he settles himself onto Aran’s now vacant chair.

“G’night, Suna,” Osamu yawns, finally drifting off into a feverish but natural sleep.

Suna adjusts Osamu’s blankets and pulls out his phone. Knowing Osamu, the night won’t be as peaceful as Suna is hoping for, so he plays stupid mobile games on his phone and waits for what he knows will come in a few hours.

TLDR: tbh Atsumu never deserved the hate he got right? All he was doing was living and being the teasing-the-main-character-for-comic-relief trope LOLOL. he always made me laugh when he was on screen and displayed immense talent despite being a second year. Plus he’s hot.

Ok onto the long ramble:

Why Atsumu Miya is a babe: he has always loved volleyball, displaying a greater passion for the sport than his twin but was still considered the “less talented” one of the pair but did that make him give up? No.

He worked harder and harder to surpass his brother at setting and eventually got there with hard work (granted there was a fair amount of talent on his side too). During his second year of high school, he was considered the top high school setter in the country with his abilities to adapt and overcome each obstacle, going as far as to mimic Kagehina’s freak duo attack in their nationals game.

On top of that, he’s incredibly charismatic and perceptive, being able pick out Kageyama’s weaknesses during the training camp and capitalize on it to make Kageyama realize what he needs to work on. He plays the instigator but will hype up his teammates when he genuinely believes they deserve it (shown below)

He adds a lighter air to a much more serious situation which is always a must when trying to handle tough dilemmas. He also manages to command respect despite his immature personality which adds to his duality.

Not to mention he’s extremely attractive and had a memorable character design. His personality screams “I am here and i will show you who’s boss” and his appearance matches that. The way he smirks to the mysterious tint in his eyes, there’s nothing boring about Atsumu Miya.

His dynamic with his twin is a balancing act with one twin being a cooler, calmer, and relaxed side (hence the gray hair) and the other being being an electric fire whose flames cannot be smothered. Atsumu exudes confidence and ambition that others might be terrified/intimidated by which is one reason why the audience loves to hate him.... but he’s really just a dork with a golden heart. like I said... THE DUALITY

After graduating from highschool, he pursued volleyball and went pro, landing a spot on the MSBY Jackals where he continued to showcase his talent. We see a sentimental side to him when he chooses 11 as his number in honour of his brother and twin, Osamu. We see that he holds a strong bond with his brother despite the latter teasing him all the time. He wanted to continue the sport he loves with the person he loves the most. It shows that Atsumu is able to make meaningful bonds, a contrast to the fickle personality he’s portrayed as in the fandom.

kyoutani kentaro | sagittarius

kyoutani? a sagittarius? lmao no surprise there this guy just radiates so much i n t e n s e  e n e r g y

his violent and brash attitude is very sagittarius, he’s usually filled with pent-up energy and he has a relatively short temper

sagittarius people are VERY competitive and that definitely shows with kyoutani. aside from volleyball he’ll find other ways to compete with people

thus leading to the incident with iwaizumi 

he gets riled up easily, even by off-hand comments like ‘are you sure you can finish that bento box’ and then he’ll be gobbling food as quickly as he can

probably motivated by spite. the more you say ‘you can’t do it’ the more he’s GONNA DO IT

as a sag, i just feel like he’s not only talented when it comes to volleyball but he explores lots of different hobbies too

he probably plays other sports on the side but kyoutani really likes the idea of being good at many different things

secretly likes to experiment with music production and making some remixes (might have considered becoming a DJ at one point)

when he was younger, he probably organized a short day trip by himself by bus and as he grew older he began to have more traveling plans

his dream is to just go backpacking around a different country

but like by himself because he can’t imagine getting along with someone enough to be able to travel with them

omg another pisces boy okay here we go (idk abt you guys but whenever i hear ‘pisces boy’ i automatically think SIMP)

also he shares a birthday with matsukawa so that’s p interesting

what i immediately get from this though is that yahaba is very much connected to his emotions and relationships with other people are very much a cause of concern for him

oh boy another gemini

and yet i feel like his gemini traits aren’t as pronounced (unlike somebody i know *cough cough* sugawara koushi) so i think he may have a water sign as his moon

he’s really easy to get along with even though you’ve only met him for the first time and will talk about literally anything

really prioritizes getting along with people and won’t hesitate to communicate his thoughts either

that said, he doesn’t like being shut out of a conversation, like what kageyama did to him back in middle school

geminis value communication a lot so this was a no-no for him

i am willing to bet that this guy loves memorizing volleyball facts and sharing them with friends

he just loves reading trivia and when he comes across something really interesting, it will live in his head rent-free

his teammates think its adorable and don’t mind even if kindaichi sometimes repeats himself

definitely the kind of person who likes to be well-rounded with his skills too. even though he’s devoted himself to volleyball, he’s the kind of person who likes to explore different ways of playing

kunimi akira | aries

at first glance, our chill little kunimi here doesn’t really seem like an aries (i have  a strong feeling that his rising is in libra or something) 

he doesn’t have that intense, ‘notice me !!’ energy that i know a lot of aries people do

but one thing that is very aries about kunimi is how competitive he is and how much he hates to lose

he really likes to win but he’s very smart about how he plays the game because he knows himself and his strengths well

doesn’t look that affected when he loses but secretly he’s all >:(

the kind of person who comes up with a billion counterarguments he could have used for a debate while showering

kunimi actually enjoys dressing up and taking pictures of his OOTD but doesn’t want to make it look like he cares in particular or that he just threw the outfit together

very much a tsundere. probably one of the most tsundere people in haikyuu

a very scary person when he gets mad. his anger is one that’s very quiet but you can definitely sense it

has SO MANY random skills and talents and just likes to whip out a few of them to surprise people

he’s amazing at those arcade claw machines and ended up surprising his teammates when they went out once

he is very selective when it comes to the people he likes to hang out or be around with. will only exert effort for those he’s really close to

Singing Disney Songs

a/n: no thoughts. What singing disney songs would be like with Seijoh, Nekoma and Inarizaki I have no idea why I did this. Its in drabble form and in whole team form (which i’ve never done). Featuring HSM, Starstuck and Hannah Montana

Seijoh: best boys to do it with. Core 4 in all their chaos? Sign me up! Oikawa, Makki, Mattsun are all down 110%. Iwa is down by default to keep your messy asses in line (but he lowkey wanted to do it too). Everyone knows all the words to EVERY song.Y’all get into a heated debate about which high school musical had the most bangers. Makki and Mattsun are like “come on now how can you not say HSM 2” and someone else like you chimes in “because everyday is boring as shit. They act like their in a cult.” So y’all end up going through the HSM discography taking tallies. This concludes that HSM 2 had the best songs. As y’all just sit there listening, you cross off some songs automatically and Oikawa is like “Gabriella’s songs are boring as shit.” Anyways y’all force Iwa to do the dance to “We’re all in this together” and he leaves y’all shook because he has RHYTHM. oikawa on the other hand—. Iwa simp hours for a large part of it with all y’all being like “Be the Troy to my Gabriella” He hates u all :) At some point y’all are just drunk karaoking to HSM. Dancing on the coffee table and couches to What Time is It (which if y’all were sober yeah Iwa would murder u all). “Bro remember when people used to call u the king?” and that leads to you and oikawa tryna turn Fabulous into a duet. Both drunk on the 2 couches pretending you're at a pool making the others be the little servers. Makki and Mattsun decide to reenact Gotta go My own way. Very drunk and dramatic. Rubbing all over each other's faces. Pulling away then running back doing the most. Yall force drunk Iwa to do Bet on It. Hes seen it so many times and is too intoxicated to not do it so mans goes all out. Does troy dumbass jumping and yall are the best hypemen. Someone is recording but yall can barely hear him through the loud ass cheering and laughing. 

Nekoma: Another fun team to do this with. Yall do the unappreciated movies like STARSTRUCK. Kuroo is a sucker for those and yall both swear up and down the its one of the best and deserved more than it ever got. (He knows all the words to these songs). Yall do this while your on a roadtrip. One of those vans so its you, kuroo (in the driver/passenger), kenma, yaku, kai, lev, fukunaga. Up front yall are living your best lives “Something about the sunshine babyyyyyyyyyyy” acting like the main characters and shit. Someone brings up what if you all played Starstruck characters. “Lev looks the most like Christopher Wilde. Lanky, no rhythm. creepy eyes when he stares too long-” “Hey!” Back to the music. We all know you and kuroo know all the words, lev is pretty good and knows most so hes able to keep up. Yaku is like 50/50. Kai, babe only knows the main ones and only partially. Sits and smiles and laughs at his friends. Gets songs dedicated to him by all of you. Kenma? Don't care. Hes really only on this trip because you guys are his friends. This is one of his least fav disney movies so truly is in mental anguish trying to tune yall out. Fukunaga only knows Stubby’s verses so does the rapping. Lots of “AYEEEEE” going around. Very hype when those songs come on. Lev tries to sing What You Mean to Me to Kenma, but just gets told to shut up. Being very loud and obnoxious with all of them save for Kenma to Starstruck. If you stop at a red light the neighboring cars can probably hear yall’s screeching. Yaku is most likely to be recording the monstrosity on his snap chat, but will not catch himself slipping and entertaining yall. He has a reputation to upkeep. For songs only you and Kuroo know (like welcome to hollywood) he takes one hand off the wheel to hold at you like a microphone. Plays the acoustic and regular version of Hero back to back. Wants to pretend he’s in a music video for the acoustic. One of those sad montage types. 

Inarizaki: what is even going on. You propose it. Kita just shrugs and is like “Ok” Yall listening to Hannah Montana. Twins ruin your singalong time with the debate of How could they not know Miley was Hannah. You dedicate If We Were a Movie to Aran bc dream boy. He sings along happily. Wouldn’t hesitate to hit Atsumu for trying to interrupt and you're like “This is a duet stfu.” Kita watched the show but probably couldn’t really recall many of the words but that's ok. You all do know Best of Both Worlds and even Suna sings along. Not with much energy, but whatever he still participates in. Twins and Suna all are embarrassed to say they know every word to He Could Be the One. Get Kita to threaten the twins and they’ll sing along to it. Another must sing song is Nobody’s Perfect. Grab Suna’s hand and make him sing and dance along, he does it lazily. Maybe a few bobs and sways. Him not screaming the lyrics is drowned out by the rest of yall. That's one of those songs that like you hear that intro you go running towards the dance floor because BANGER. Mid convo- you hear that intro yeah your soul leaves your body and is taken over by the spirit of miss Hannah. Twins try to act that out and do the soul leaving body meme because they share 1 brain cell. Atsumu is more aggressive with his singing along. Like damn calm tf down. When hes hype hes going so hard yall are like “dont hurt yourself lol” Once you start getting into them obscure songs Aran saves the day again by being the only one that knows them. At True Friend Atsumu asks if you think hes a true friend/ “(Y/N) i’m yer best friend right.” Damn yall hear something. Ignore him and keep singing while Osamu and Suna clown his ass. “Kita’s a true friend.” Kita just thanks you. Might return the compliment. “He doesn’t even know any of the songs” ok and???? Yall play another sadder song right after like “i’ll always remember you.” Atsumu lowkey starts tearing up and sniffling. Ha ha pussy. Sad hours when you then play wherever I go and yall all start getting sad. Kita not knowing the songs just looks at yall like ?????? Then he starts listening to yall sadly sing along and its like “damn” sad team hours then. Yall annoying and put your arms around each other and like start swaying because no brain cells are found. It ends up getting aggressive and u feel like your shoulder is gonna fall off so u stop.

SUNA RINTARO

the team could tell if suna's already dating someone

rather than his usual lazy and dead-in-the-inside look during training, his eyes appeared to be sparkly these past few weeks

so they decided to bust suna's lovelife by fake gossiping in the locker room

"hm? could you guys tell if one of us is already dating somebody through his eyes?"

ginjima would ask and the others would nod as a reply

yup that's scripted

suna flinched a little as he changed his clothes

ya he knows he's guilty

"why would you ask, gin?"

"it's because i could tell somebody in this team is already in love!!"

suna would try to act busy so he won't look suspicious

"ugh!! enough with ya guessing game! spill the member's name!"

atsumu's whining is still scripted x)

suna would heave a deep sigh and "am i really that obvious?"

the whole team would burst into laughters after suna's confession

afterwards, before they leave the clubroom, they would bug suna to bring you to one of their matches

and that day came—they also won!!

"looks like suna's lucky charm worked" aran would tease suna in front of you

"y/n-chan! thank you for bringing our middle blocker back to life! you definitely made him happy!"

"suna definitely has a type!"

you would blush after hearing those from his teammates

they would invite you to the mini celebration of victory afterwards

and while eating, they would make fun of suna, spilling some of his embarassing moments during training and how the coach would scold him

"ooh!! imagine if he gets jealous someday! would his blocker instincts tell him to block those guys away from you?"

you would all laugh after hearing what atsumu just said and he would earn a head smack from suna

the day ended well and being nervous was pointless, you really felt anxious after hearing suna say that he'd bring you to their upcoming match and introduce you to his teammates

but i guess you just met the other family of your boyfriend

suna would take you home and thank you for supporting him in the earlier match

and before you could even enter your apartment, he would randomly tell you

"if any guys would try to take you away from me, i wouldn't mind considering atsumu's suggestion of blocking them away from you."

KITA SHINSUKE

the team is not expecting their captain to actually date somebody these days

i mean, they all look up to kita shinsuke, their captain, the one who doesn't fail his grades, always on time & basically a guy with lots of goal in mind

he's someone who's very much an ideal type!

but they all seem to think that kita isn't considering on dating someone in highschool yet (although his grandma is already expecting a wedding aha)

anD THIS DAY CAME

kita accidentally left his extra lunch and shirt at home so

his grandma asked for your help if you could come to their house to get it and deliver the things that shinsuke left

on your way to the gym, you can already hear the loud thud coming from the balls hitting the floor

and at the exact time you entered the gym, atsumu gave his best shot for his last round of service

evERYBODY YELLED

bc you had been smacked by a power serve!!

they'd be clueless at first bc why are you in the gym?? during training??

but they had an idea that you may be kita's friend since they saw their captain's jersey shirt and labeled bento box fell onto the floor

"OH MY GOD I'M SORRY!!"

atsumu's about to approach you but then kita swooshed him away

he kneeled infront of you and cupped your cheeks

your face were a blushing mess but since you had been slapped by a ball, they thought the otherwise

the team threw suspicious looks at each other

judging by their captain's actions, you didn't seem to only be a friend of kita

"oh..OH!!"

"oh..kITA-SAN SHE'S YOUR—"

kita's not the type to be a show off nor he does not publicize everything, but he's not the type to deny either

so yes, he would say yes, you're his girlfriend

they'd bring you to the clinic to let the nurse check if you had been bruised by the impact

and turns out you do have one (1) bruise

atsumu would bow countless times to you and kita

and feAR FOR HIS LIFE BECAUSE HE JUST INJURED HIS CAPTAIN'S GIRLFRIEND

"ah, that's not a good first impression of the team"

aran would ask forgiveness for the sudden injury she got from the team

but you would tell them that's it's fine since it was your fault for intruding the gym unexpectedly

they'd still ask countless of apologies for atsumu

and at the same time they'd ask you if you could tell kita to not scold them

they're scared of kita lol

you'd get alot of compliments too!

and yes after that, you and kita would be alone, he'd ask you why you suddenly appeared inside the gym

you'll explain everything that happened and he'd gladly take the jersey and the (fortunately safe) bento box

"next time, call or text me before you come and see me in the gym hm? i don't want you to get hurt again."

MIYA ATSUMU

the team knows the miya twins are popular to girls

that's why even though some of them have seen atsumu walking home with a girl, they'd assume that she's just one of his fans, probably asking for a picture or a photograph

or maybe just a groupmate for a schoolwork

but they started to doubt their assumptions the moment they realized that atsumu's often texting someone on his phone during their break time in training

"osamu, is your twin already dating someone?"

"i don't have an idea, i doubt his crusty ass got one"

and another scenario of after-training-stalking-atsumu agenda happened

they happened to saw someone pretty walking along with atsumu on the other side of the street

the same girl they saw walking with atsumu these past few weeks

you and atsumu were actually clueless that you both have been followed by the inarizaki team (except for kita who has a sleeping routine and already needs to go home)

"AHA!"

"ATSUMU'S WITH A GIRL!"

"IS OUR STINKY ATSUMU BOTHERING THIS PRETTY GIRL?"

atsumu would definitely kick all their asses

"get yar filthy hands off my girlfriend!"

gin blinks, osamu blinks, aran blinks, oomimi blinks, akagi blinks, suna blinks, riseki blinks, yuto blinks

inarizaki team bLINKS

"g-g-gIRLFRIEND? YA CRUSTY ASS ACTUALLY HAD ONE?"

osamu would yell the f out

"i bet your stinky face can't get one!! stop yelling" - atsumu to osamu

"we look the same!!"

"i'm the better version!! besides! i have someone who loves me!!"

the entire walk home would be loud as hell,

instead of promoting atsumu, they'd actually tell you stories on how stinky atsumu would get after practice and how he was actually not good at talking with girls despite his large fanbase

you'd just giggle and atsumu would be frowning beside you

the long walk came to an end after the others used a different route home

that leaves you walking home with your boyfriend and his twin brother

"tsumu may be an ass sometimes but i think he really likes you"

osamu would tell you as atsumu buys you an ice cream for a second

and when he came back, he'd pout once more

"he told you something bad about me again, right?"

osamu would chuckle and nod "yeah, i told her that you'd shit your pants after watching a horror movie"

before atsumu could even strangle him, he had already ran away, leaving you both alone again

he'd give you the dessert

"even if they told you unpleasant things, don't dislike me, hm?"
