- FINAL BATTLE (ext) (the mc needs a reason to fight this last battle, theres no choice but to confront the antag (face-to-face), but now theyre ready and backed with their knowledge and magic, maybe theyve discovered the antags secret or weakness, maybe their real name etc, the antag captured the villain (sacrifice optional here), and holds them hostage and injures them etc, the hero escapes and ends up sacrificing them-self to save somebody else (ally/love interest/someone special to them) and they seem to “die” but then actually come back to life)

23. death of self (funerals are held/attended, their mourning the loss of their friends/team, unknowingly to them, the “dead” antagonist attends the funerals, alive and well.)

ohhh rockruff is def one... spike chunsoft owes me a Puppy hero after not making lillipup a starter option in gates. yamper and impidimp are ideas too... alolan vulpix too if that counts!

11. Any headcanons that take place after the games that you want to share

dusknoir becomes a world renowned explorer again but for real this time, though this is after he makes amends for what he did under primal dialga. he also gives the sableye a home and acts more paternal towards them

grovyle has a long time figuring out what he wants to do, he had hinged his life on his mission and now he feels confused. im thinking he actually does make a full fledged team with dusknoir and celebi and theyre all famous like dusknoir is :D but itd take a bit! he experiments, trying to see what he likes

the future trio time travels to see rin and nimbus again bc i said so

jay and mimi (psmd hero/partner) play a big part in mega evolution research later on in life (but that is tech a spoiler for something so keeping quiet abt it for now)

mimi learns about mewtwo and actively seeks them out. she jokingly adopts them and calls herself their mom, but the two make a genuine bond and it helps mewtwo integrate into pokemon society more after they isolated themself from it

espurr eventually joins the expedition society once she feels confident enough. she primarily becomes mawile's apprentice in archeology, but is also a formidable member in her own right and eventually steps up as one of the strongest members once mawile retires and espurr evolves into meowstic.

azalea (rescue team hero) befriends gengar after the latter takes a major break from the town post-murky cave. azalea had also not been the greatest human before turning into a pokemon, and she genuinely wanted to help him reform once he showed interest/signs of improvement. leopold (partner) takes a while to come around, but a bond is eventually formed between the 3.

eris (gti hero) is eventually trapped in the pmd world due to the dimension being locked, but he's honestly okay with it. his home life wasn't the best and he really only felt the "but we are FAMILY so i cant leave" obligation to return home before. he's since accepted that it was toxic and was honestly just relieved the lock was put up while he was in the pmd universe instead of the human world. he also either never evolves (bc i can never find a thunder stone in gti) or evolves into alolan raichu while his partner elliot evolves all the way into samurott, and elliot lets him ride around on his back. horse.

12. If you could change one thing about your favourite game(s), what would it be?

the darkrai plot hands down. ive rambled before abt why i hate it but basically my idea would be to either keep darkrai as a postgame villain but leave temporal tower and palkia out of it, or to keep his intervention in the main plot but make him a more impactful character. my ideas include

-making him appear earlier ffs. or at least be mentioned/alluded to multiple times in the main story.

-make him more of a character beyond "i want to rule the world" type. like maybe we do go the "tragic villain" route where he didnt HAVE to end up the way he did. like he was feared and hated due to his influence over nightmares that he cant help, but there was also a time related crisis or a drought or something happening at the lakes and treeshroud forest. so darkrai decides to take the time gears from temporal tower to put in those areas, get the lake guardians to look after them, and fix the anomalies there.

-this gets him adoration and love from the region and he's upheld as a hero. he revels in it and loves the affection.

-unfortunately he wasn't aware of the long term disaster of temporal tower's collapse... he panics at the thought of people hating him again once he learns (probably through dialga telling him or something), but then he has a thought like "wait. what if i LET that happen and i can swoop in and save everyone in the aftermath, dont connect it to the time gears and instead make it out to have been this unforeseeable disaster, and he keeps everyone together and they still love him! so he basically leaves dialga high and dry bc he's rather do that than admit his mistake.

-cresselia then tries to stop him and thats how shes involved. maybe he puts her in a nightmare

-darkrai kinda just. REALLY wants to die on this hill basically, hes desperate to keep the love pokemon have for him now and doesn't want to lose it.

-he probably doesnt interfere with the time travel bc darkrais cant naturally time travel. in fact he has no idea what the future is even like. hes CONVINCED hes gonna be this grand hero in the dark future

-darkrai is also seen or mentioned a lot throughout the story explaining his connection to the time gears.

-ofc hero and partner stop temporal towers collapse and pokemon put two and two together abt the time gears and start to be wary abt darkrai again. he starts to despise them and plots for them to be... "removed" from the world so to speak. so in postgame, where his plot usually takes place, he starts trying to manipulate them like he does in main game. but what hes also trying to do is frame them. he puts nightmares in other pokemons heads about hero and partner, exaggerating their space distortion and saying theyll be the end of the world if they arent eliminated. basically he's trying to do what gengar did. i dont think another witchhunt deal will happen both bc the pokemon do genuinely trust and love them + we wouldnt want to just repeat the first game anyways, but it DOES isolate them just enough to create a divide (that wigglytuff/cresselia eventually fixes up) and make the hero/partner really doubt themselves and basically plants that seed of doubt in everyone. darkrai then gets it in his head to ACTUALLY distort space so that the pokemon blame it on hero and partner, and the stuff w palkia happens as it does ingame. darkrai is exposed again by cresselia (idk if azurill gets a permanent nightmare here? i kinda wanna keep that bc i love that dungeon but idk if its narratively appropriate now) and he runs off to dark crater

-basically the dark crater confrontation happens except darkrai doesnt have a band of pokemon. a boss battle happens and he rants about how the hero and partner ruined everything for him, his backstory is revealed, and he says that he wanted hero and partner to go through what he did. everything would've been fine if they hadnt meddled, if they had just stayed put in their respective timelines and let everything go as planned! they didnt have to ruin him a second time! if they had just let time go, he wouldve kept the respect he had, and he wouldnt be an outcast again! he wouldve kept everyone happy even with the ruined world, it wouldve been fine!

-... and then partner drops the fact that they hadn't heard a whisper of him in the future. it's not to rub it in his face, its a genuine question: "if you were supposed to save everyone... where were you? we were in the future... if you had been there, surely you would've been mentioned?"

-this breaks darkrkai. the fact that his future was just a desperate attempt to cling to a fantasy, it makes him realize just how ridiculous he'd been this whole time. all this time, he had just been hurting the same pokemon he wanted adoration from. this is where he flees, maybe into a dimensional hole (palkia might have made it?) and i'm not sure if he loses his memory here, but it does leave him in a place where he can be recruited and reformed if the player so choses.

I don't remember a lot of the details but I believe there was Kai/Kyungsoo and Chanyeol/Beckhyun. They didn't all know each other as the fic started out and slowly came together. 210320. The author, if I remember correctly, was "diresay"? The fic was a soulmate au. Jongdae is mute, but when he sleeps hears his own voice in his dreams. But one day, he sees an idol, Baekhyun, singing on tv, and he realises that the  that voice he hears is not his own voice, but the voice of Baekhyun, and that Baekhyun must be his soulmate. He becomes Baekhyun's biggest fan, but never had the chance to meet him in person. Then one day, Baekhyun gives an interview saying he heard his own soulmate's voice in a dream, and that his soulmates has a wonderful singing voice. This crushes Jongdae, because he's mute, so he can't be Baekhyun's soulmate. This story was so beautiful. I could feel both Jongdae's and Baekhyun's heartache so intensely. The writing was superb and the story hit all the right feels. If anyone can tell me where I can find this story again (is it posted anywhere else other than AO3?), please let me know. Dear author, if you happen to read this, please know that I respect your decision to delete it. I just want to let you know that I miss it and if you could re-post it, I would be super grateful. If not, I just want to mourn the loss of this fic.

no, i couldn't cut off contact with my grandpa callyerdogs off nor grandma jojo and there is really nothing stopping me from moving to another country even without a stipulation. i have a bed now, so i guess i officially own one piece of furniture but i'll probably leave this behind for my roommates to remember me by anyway - they can start up the 'sleep in the harry potter room' challenge again. depending on what happens in november i am seriously considering relocating.

I live in a basement in a closet underneath the stairs :P but in the main room we have too many windows and they all overlook suburbs, quite depressing really. a come down after living in the 1920s tower room on the hill but a slight improvement to the alley view in glendale. my favorite view was in the burgh where i lived on the third floor and had a flat roof outside my window where my friends and i could crawl outside and sit and watch the sunset over downtown/the lawrenceville part of the allegheny. also where i seduced jon but thats another story. he still isnt talking to me, its been over six months, i officially hate his damn girlfriend, and i cant believe i tried to smooth things between them that time she threw him out of the house for making her coffee wrong in the morning and he called me in a panic.

Your first OC ever?god. its got to be Super Kitty. when i was like … an incredibly small child I used to draw comic strips about this feline caped crusader, who was friends with everyone in the city, and the comics always involved him stopping an evil banana man from stealing money from the local bank. He was paid with donuts for his service to the city. i still remember how to draw him.

I often describe him as being something of a reverse Arthur Weasley - a very fatherly scientist fascinated to the moon and back with the concept of magic.

Any OC OTPs? having trouble thinking of a lot of them right now, but there’s Eric + Lent & Naiadine + Tailias from Emerald Sigil, Avken + Baromet from my space campaign world, Sydd + Wyvv from my unnamed campaign world, and I’ve been considering Westrin + Servant as an interesting dynamic in Servant’s story

18. Any OC crackships? My character Bismuth and @autistictimeknight​‘s oc Eros. Theyre so fucking in love, I love it. Its been awhile but I do still think about them sometimes.

As I recall, Eros is an empath, she can read other people’s emotions. But Bismuth is a robot, and Eros can’t read her. Because of this Eros can let go of her fear of unintentionally manipulating the emotions of her date, which would hold her back from most other relationships. 

19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)Hey, meet Bronze! I definitely do not talk about them every five minutes, why would you say that. 

Bronze was with me through two of the hardest years of my life so far, and being a DND character they grew with me, both as a fighter and as a person. They were non-binary before I started using those pronouns, they were the first character or person or anything who I fought someone about using the right pronouns for, they make a great icebreaker for if I want to see how someone reacts to non-binary pronouns … 

One funny anecdote about Bronze is that when I first made them, their “gimmick” was that they would sometimes glitch out and mess up their speech, mostly because I wanted an excuse not to engage in the roleplaying (which I was very bad at). The interesting thing is that as I got better at interacting with the group, we both grew out of needing it very quickly. 

I’m very proud of Bronze. 

20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?Westrin is a bard! His singing voice sounds like Bill Wurtz and these are his theme songs.

23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?I’m gonna go with Enza for this one. Enza Colie was originally written entirely because I wanted an antagonist for a short starring his sister, Jane Colie. But the more I fleshed out his reasonings for acting how he did and explored his character, the more I realised he’d make an even more interesting character if allowed to have a redemption arc, too. 

I just want to state for the record that I was very reluctant to the idea, and he basically dragged his way out of the villain pit entirely of his own accord. I am dubiously proud of him, and also a bit scared. 

24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?Probably either Eric (Big Man, Best Friend), Crocus (Mother figure), Reed (Father Figure), Westrin (hed just make a good friend u kno??), or Bismuth (she makes good conversation!)

Have you ever had to change your OC’s design or something else about them against your will? this is an interesting one… i don’t think ive ever had something Bad in a design ive done called to my attention by someone, but I did create my character Servant at around the same time I was first really expanding the diversity of my casts. (since i don’t talk about him often, a little context: he’s a magic spirit creature bound to human form to serve the royal family of the land and follow their orders.) 

somehow, younger-and-more-stupid me managed to have the revelation that making this “eternal slave” character literally anything other than a white man, especially as a white author, would be Pretty Not Good. im … thats really, really not something i should pat myself on the back for, but i do consider it one of the biggest bullets dodged in my artistic career so far that i realised that not all representation is good representation so quickly, before i could make that incredibly, incurably stupid mistake. 

after that, trying to make sure my characters and their presentations don’t harm anyone pretty much has become a paranoia. i don’t seem to have stepped on any toes yet, but when it inevitably happens, please let me know - i didnt know, and i want to fix it!

… actually, the gatekeeper might be it, if “dangerous” just refers to “the amount of raw power it can wield”. the Gatekeeper is a titanic entity that exists in interdimensional multiverse space, and its implied to have the ability to create and destroy entire universe bubbles at will. for what cosmic purpose, no-one knows. 

at a more personal scale, though, literally all of the aforementioned characters are pretty bad to run into too. 

29. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone they’re going?god. Mina or Tawn. Tawn is the Indiana Jonesy type and probably dumb enough, but also competent enough not to get into too much trouble there. Mina would probably drag her friends along. 

30. Which one of your OCs would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection? XEN09. No-one knows, because no-one knows xir personal identity. Xe absolutely does, though. It’s less of a secret if you know xir in person, but good luck finding out about it otherwise.

- Crocus and Sarle. (x) (x) They don’t exactly have a very well-developed relationship, but they are both quite important to the plot of my campaign world, and they are both very interesting. Crocus is a motherly figure who just exudes friendliness, while Sarle is .. very much not that, a researcher studying very gruesome things and pushing the boundaries of reality. 

- Jane and Enza Colie. I haven’t talked a whole lot about either of them here, but I’d rather leave their story to do the talking whenever I get around to it. Essentially, the both of them were intended to do the dirty work for their crime boss family, but Jane ditched to study medicine. Most of the conflict between the two of them comes out of Enza not understanding why she made the choice she did, and coming to understand how he’s been manipulated. 

35. Any sibling characters? I can’t really think of any off the top of my head, I should … I should really work on that. 

I can talk about Westrin, though. Westrin (a demigod of many things, but namely bards, travel, travelers, and people who are lost) often becomes close friends with mortals, sometimes practically adopting them. These people who consider him family, and people who have received his blessing, are able to use his surname, Brilanta, as their own if they choose. So I guess all of the Brilantas are siblings, at least in spirit. 

Oh, and XEN09 has like, seven siblings. Xe is the second-oldest, and least remarkable. 

36. Do you have OC pairs where the other part belongs to someone else (siblings, lovers, friends etc)? I already talked about Eros and Bismuth up there a ways in question 18, but I’ll talk about another relationship here. @autistictimeknight​‘s character, Nova the Alchemist, is mentor and adopted parental figure to my character Munna. Munna … Munna isn’t a very good apprentice. She tries very hard. 

37. Introduce an OC who is not quite human That’s most of them, I’m not quite sure what to say here. Bronze is an android? Bronze again? Westrin? All the aliens ?? 

38. Which one of your OCs would be the best dancer? man. uh. westrin or jean. or perhaps valencia. 

39. Introduce any character you want ??? uhhhHHHhhHHH Lord Brillium is the reigning deity of the Cloud Kingdoms in the other campaign setting I’m working on. They represent light and the quest for knowledge, and spend most of their days in the Cathedral Observatory watching the stars.

also one time bronze rickrolled a rakshasa demon and then pulled updog on it like, two minutes later

another time bronze scared off an entire army by pretending to be an automated security system

42. Which one of your OCs would be the most interested in Greek gods? this is kind of a weird question, m, I feel like Bismuth would find learning about the mythos utterly fascinating, as would Tawn. 

43. Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It’s time to confesshaha. uh. i might. 

aside from the entire “bronze-tangential characters” thing i mentioned awhile back, I tend to really like designing characters with hair color lighter than their skin color. it just looks so cool man. i love drawing freckles but dont put them on enough characters. i like really curly hair, but also really long and flowy hair. i like drawing triangular body types, and pointy/prominent noses. 

44. Something you like about your OCs in generaluhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is a really vague question. m. m. 

45. A character you no longer use?there’s old versions of characters, but a lot of my older ones have been somehow repurposed. 1)  Hi! I’m looking for a yoonmin fix that I found on ao3 a while back. It was non-au (canon compliant) and, basically, Jimin was a jerk towards Yoongi and Yoongi was suicidal. It was later revealed that they had been in love, but were caught by fans, and had to break up, and Jimin blamed Yoongi. Then, Yoongi got really drunk one day and was coerced into sleeping with a fan?? It was a really good story and I can’t find it now,,

2) Hi idk if you would be able to help me since I don’t have a lot of details but awhile ago I was reading a fic where I believe it was of namjoon and jungkook?? I can’t remember who the pairing was exactly. anyways all I can literally remember is there was a smut scene where jungkook is blind folded and at one point that’s a carrot involved. I’m trying to find the author and I’ve looked through my ao3 history but can’t seem to find it. If you can’t find it I appreciate your help! Thank you

3)  I read this fic a while ago that was Jungkook-centric where Jungkook and Jin were stepbrothers and Jungkook's dad was abusive but Jin's mom didn't know that until they got married and so they ignored Jungkook so his dad wouldn't beat them too until his dad saw Jin with Namjoon and raped him and Jungkook got Namjoon to get Jin out of the house. If there's any way you can find this fic for me I would really appreciate it, I've been looking for it FOREVER. Thanks!

4)  I’m trying to find a fic that was on ao3. I can’t remember the pairing, but during the story, one of the members was acting childish and being obnoxious for attention and another member ended up punishing him for it, but not giving him any aftercare. A different member finds the original guy nearly hysterical and is his ‘daddy’ they do talk afterwords but that’s all I can remember.

5)  Hey:) I’m looking for a fic I read a long time ago about yoongi and he takes care of Namjoon and they live on the street and then Namjoon gets snatched. 40 character development questions! All about Padawan Fern!

Okay @markwatnae here are 40 of the 42 questions since the last two were pretty much just free for all questions. This took me over an hour to write and I cbf with any spelling and stuff.

Also, I dare you to do this with Edie.

And I dare any of you who read this to do this about of your OC’s.

PHYSICAL PRESENCE AND GESTURE.

1. How do they move and carry themselves? Pace, rhythm, gestures, energy?

When she isn’t stumbling over thin air, Fern is as graceful as the rest of the Jedi. She walks a slower then what she would call normal pace so that everyone with smaller legs then her can keep up. Fern is quite cheerful and enjoys gesturing when she is in a relaxed environment. If she is in a hostile area, Fern will become more still and cautious.

2. How much physical space do they use, active and at rest?

Fern is as tall as you can get and takes up a lot of space because of it. She does not often stand at her full height but when she does, Fern commands attention. Due to the fact that she is a Neti, Fern needs less rest then most. That being said, she can and will take up the whole bed or closet when she wishes to sleep.

3. How do they position themselves in a group? Do they like to be the center of attention, or do they hang back at the edges of a crowd?

She hangs around the edges. Being so tall means that she can be at the edge of everything and still get a good view of everyone.

4. What is their size and build? How does it influence how they use their body, if it does?

Tall, amazonian, strong. Fern is built tough and looks it. This helps for when she and her master are on missions and they need to threaten someone.

5. How do they dress? What styles, colors, accessories, and other possessions do they favor? Why?

Due to her young age, Fern often relies on breathing through her bark like skin. This causes her much trouble when on polluted planets. Her robes are made of a thick material that filters out polluted air.

She wears skirts instead of pants when she can get away with it and leggings too. Both are made of the thick material.

Her Padawan beads are made out of stones from the planet she grew up on. They are Force sensitive and are hand carved by Frank.

6. What are they like in motion–in different environments, and in different activities? What causes the differences between these?

Fern when not in a war like situation, is analytical and watchful of the environment that she is in. While she is mostly cheerful and relaxed, Frank has taught her to always be ready and on her guard no matter what.

7. How do they physically engage with other people, inanimate objects, and their environment? What causes the differences between these?

Fern is always cheerful with engaging people she likes. If she doesn’t like you she will be polite. If she really doesn’t like you she will be out right rude.

Inanimate objects are yelled at regularly.

Fern is always happy when in an environment with plants and trees. If there is too much pollution, like on Coruscant, she will be less happy and more or less cranky.

8. Where and when do they seem most and least at ease? Why? How can you tell?

Fern is most at ease in a garden or somewhere where the living force is prominate. She really does not like the senate or polluted areas.

9. How do they manifest energy, exhaustion, tension, or other strong emotions?

Fern bonces on her toes when she has a lot of energy. And slumps her shoulders when she is exhausted. When she is tense, the thorns on her body become sharper and easier to see. Other strong emotions are seen by the colour changes in her flowers or if her flowers open or close.

10. What energizes and drains them most?

The living force makes them energised. Being around those she cares about the most makes her active and bouncy. Being in the senate and Coruscant makes her feel weak and drained, which is why master Frank raised her in the Dantooine temple.

11. How are they vocally expressive? What kind of voice, accent, tones, inflections, volume, phrases and slang, and manner of speaking do they use?

Fern has a very light and bell like voice. She speaks with a slight accent and can be soft spoken at times. She often forgets to use basic and more often than not will turn to her master to translate for her.

12. How are they bodily expressive? How do they use nonverbal cues such as their posture, stance, eyes, eyebrows, mouths, and hands?

Fern uses her flowers to express a lot. Though that is more to do with her age then her control.

 DISPOSITION AND TEMPERAMENT.

13. How do they greet the world — what is their typical attitude towards life? How does it differ in different circumstances, or towards different subjects? Why do they take these attitudes, and why do they change? How do these tend to be expressed?

Fern wants the best she can get in life. She wants to be safe and for all her friends to be as well. Due to childhood trauma, Fern is terrified of many things, though she will not admit it. When not faced with her trauma Fern is completely fine. She is her normal, cheerful, if sassy and salty, self. When confronted with something to do with what she went through, Fern becomes defensive and angry. Her flowers all close when this happens.

14. What do they care deeply about? What kind of loyalties, commitments, moral codes, life philosophies, passions, callings, or spirituality and faith do they have? How do these tend to be expressed?

Fern cares about the Jedi and her old family. She has 12 siblings, none of them Neti, and she loves them all dearly. She keeps in regular contact with several siblings until the war (Palpatine) forces her to stop doing so.

Once Fern is loyal to something or someone, it takes a lot to lose that loyalty.

Fern follows a religion from the region of space that she was born into. The religion itself speaks of balance and staying true to ones path. The said religion has over 14 different cults to its name. Fern does not follow any of the cults. The religion is a part of a group of several other religions that follow different gods and goddess. Calculating. Very calculating. Fern is a hell of a lot smarter then she acts and presents herself. She watches and waits and reacts. She also doubts a lot and fears the backlash she could receive from her fellow Jedi if they found out about certain things from her childhood trauma.

16. Do they dream? What are those dreams like?

Fern dreams. Sometimes of good things. Sometimes it is visions of tin soldiers following a puppet man up the steps of the temple to kill the younglings.

Nurture. Definitely nurture.

Depending on how things go, Fern could be a well spoken guardian of the peace who champions those who need help.

Or she could become a really bitter guerrilla fighter with little to no care about lives, hers or anyone elses.

Depends on which story I am writing.

 CONNECTIONS WITH OTHERS.

19. How do they behave within a group? What role(s) do they take? Does this differ if they know and trust the group, versus finding themselves in a group of strangers? Why?

If she is with a group she likes, Fern can often be a happy little puppy who makes jokes and is cheerful to be around.

If she is with a groups she doesn’t like then more often than not, Fern would be very salty and sassy. She would also poke as much fun as she could at certain people should they annoy her.

When around strangers, Fern will be cautious as normal and interact when needed until she has seen if she likes them or not.

20. What kind of individual relationships do they have with others, and how do they behave in them? How are they different between intimate relationships like friends, family, and lovers versus more impersonal relationships?

Fern sees Master Frank as the closest thing to a father that she has. She loves him dearly and keeps him close. Her relationship with Sober is also very close. He is one of the only people she listens to when she is told she needs to go to sleep and they are have the potential to Lifebond. Both Fern and Sober can be found asleep at times in Sober’s office, their arms wrapped around each other.

Fern treats all her friends with respect and love. She is devoted to them and goes above and beyond to make them happy.

She does the same for family.

21. What kind of relationships do they tend to intentionally seek out versus actually cultivate? What kind of social contact do they prefer, and why?

Fern prefers simple relationships. She likes it when she doesn’t need to talk to someone for months and they can still be friends.

Fern does like to just hang out with others her age though and just mess around. When the war starts and the other Padawans are either on missions and are dead, Fern takes to hanging out with her men when her master is busy.

22. How do people respond to them, and why might these responses differ?

Sometimes they are annoyed. Other times they think she is a cheerful young girl.

23. How do they respond to difficult social moments? What makes them consider a social situation difficult?

She watches and waits to see what to do. Most difficulties she has is when things get lost in translation.

24. How do they present themselves socially? What distinguishes their “persona” from their “true self”, and what causes that difference?

She presents herself as cheerful and polite. The main difference is that Fern is a lot more blunt and serious then she acts. While she does like poking fun at things, Fern pays attentions to what is happening around her and gages how to react.

25. What do they need and want out of relationships, and how do they go about getting it?

Cuddles and understanding. Fern is the kind of person to just walk up to you and suddenly cuddle you for a while.

26. How do they view and feel about relationships, and how might this manifest in how they handle them, if it does?

Fern often does not understand relationships. In terms of her kin she is still a seedling. While her body may have grown, her mind is still very much stuck in the ‘eww, sex is gross’ stage. Which works out fine for her and Sober seeing as he is quite happy with his hand if needed and sees no need for sex. They boy like cuddling.

 ACTIVITIES AND PREFERENCES.

Fern likes trees and plants and animals. Fern dislikes politician and Sith Lords.

28. What are they likely to do if they have the opportunity, resources, and time to accomplish it? Why?

End slavery. Endorse aid groups that work disaster relief. Have more planets settled as planets for crops for starving people. Have planets settled for endangered animals. Open the Archives to the general public.

29. What kind of activities, interests, and hobbies do they have? What significance and impact do these have in their lives, both positive and negative?

Fern loves to read and learn new things. She is interested in history and planets and animals. She also enjoys learning new prays from her religion and new skills.  And drinking everyone under the table.

The only negative impact her interest have on her is that desire to learn need things can be used against in the form of a Sith lord trying to convince her to join the Sith so she can read all the forbidden things.

And her drinking costs her a lot of money.

30. What is their preferred level of activity and stimulation? How do they cope if they get either too little or too much?

Fern likes to be active and do things. If there is nothing to do, she will find something to keep her occupied and if things are too much she will either power through it or ask for help. Badly.

31. Is there anything that counts as a “dealbreaker” for them, positively or negatively? What makes things go smoothly, and what spoils an activity or ruins their day? Why?

Dealing with politicians. Partially Palpatine. Fern would rather fight Sith Lords with both hands cut off then be stuck in a room with him.

32. Do they have any “props” that are a significant part of their life, identity, activities, or self-presentation somehow? What are they, how are they used, and why are they so significant? How would these props’ absence impact them, how would they compensate, and why?

Fern has a small shrine in her room that she prays to. It is hand made and means a lot to her. If it was destroyed, Fern would be heartbroken and it would take her a while to make a new one.

Every month when she is able, Fern would leave an offering of something over night at the bottom of the shrine.

THINKING AND LEARNING.

33. How do they learn about the world–what is their preferred learning style? Hands-on learning with trial and error? Research, reading, and note-taking? Observation or rote memorization? Inductive or deductive reasoning? Seeking patterns and organization? Taking things apart and putting them back together? Creative processing via discussing, writing about, or dramatizing things?

Fern studies everything and is very hands on with her learning. She seeks out what she wants to know and devours it when she has it in her hands.

Fern tries to have an optimistic view on things. She tries and see the best in the situation.

35. How and why do they internalize knowledge? What effect has that had on them?

She essentially has a mini library in her mind. She files everything away accordingly and that makes it much more easier for her to process thing.

36. How much do they rely on their minds and intellect, versus other approaches like relying on instinct, intuition, faith and spirituality, or emotions? What is their opinion on this?

She relies on everything she has. The Force guides her. Her mind informers her. Her intuition warns her and her faith steadies her.  Her emotions are what is left when she reacts.

37. Have they had any special education or training that colors their means of learning about or understanding the world? Conversely, do they lack some kind of education considered essential in their world? What kind of impact has this addition or lack had on them?

Master Frank is a shadow and he teaches everything he can to Fern, this means that Fern knows a lot more things than the normal Padawan or Knight. This means there can be lack of communication between her and some of the other Padawans.

Add into the fact that the temples have different teaching methods and classes means there is a big gap on what is and what isn’t learnt.

38. Is there anything they wish they could change about their worldview or thought processes? What, and why?

No. Fern knows there is no way to change the way she feels about things.

39. What sort of questions or thoughts recur in their lives, either specifically or as a theme? Why are these never answered, or answered permanently to their satisfaction?

“Will they accept me if they know the truth?” is what she asks. And I cant tell you because of spoilers.

40. What do they wonder about? What sparks their curiosity and imagination, and why? How is this expressed, if it is?

Anything and everything. Fern is forever learning and always wants to know many things. All the things in fact. And she is not afraid to ask the questions to get them.

Tome of Promised Dues

Concept:

Okay fuckers here’s what happened. Grandpa Mortismus Groff, was a fucking idiot. The kind of idiot who was super goddamn smart and good at getting his fingers into everything, trying to do research and learn as much as he could. He was part of an intellectual elite of 12 people,

1. Mortismus Groff – Deceased at 74 from self poisoning. After the birth of his two children, Molara vanished, leaving the two with their father. Mortismus returned five years later, unrecognizable and without any sign of transition. He was insubstantial in his children’s lives, too busy for them. Had many interests, many of which were terribly dark and lead to further darkness. (occult researcher)

2. Alanis Cantrin – Deceased at 47 of unknown causes. They spent much of their time in an in between state between life and death, returning from the brink with knowledge of the afterlife. They never married or had children, but were obsessed with spirits, ghosts, and death. Ran a salon for séances. (paranormal investigator)

3. Bathal Ismarris – Presumed deceased at 62. Intrinsic knowledge of witchcraft, having been raised by a black witch, she dedicated her life to white magic. A healer and herbalist, she had a young son who she also taught the arcane too, although he could never do any of it. She lived in the clinic that she ran but she and the building have gone missing.  (white witch)

4. Carthall Mizmystir – They made their living as a stage magician, even though they were the real thing. Having made connections with those on the other side of the veil, their magic was powerful, but restrained by their own desire for showmanship. They haven’t aged in the past 12 years.  (magician)

5. Erinmar Lorinsmith –Deceased at 37 through absorption.  Twin of Fendar, these two were inseparable.  They studied natural anomalies, birth defects, bodies gone wrong. They were always touching until they couldn’t stop. They were very scientific, very clean, and all of their information was valuably and specifically kept. (medical alchemist)

6. Fendar Lorinsmith – Twin of Erinmar, the two heavily relied on autopsy and biopsy. Many of their findings were considered fabricated by the scientific community but were accepted as truth by their peers. Fendar was found alone, covered in blood, their sibling missing, and has been institutionalized ever since. (paranormal mortician)

7. Gashindrish Alisnisarani – presumed deceased at 55. Was a psychiatrist who had lost his job, made a laughing stock for his findings in the connections between some of his patients and the occult. There had been an uprising in fae infection that had spread through his office to his patients, feeding off of mental illness and acting as a new one within. (psychiatrist)

8. Harmisha Mamins – deceased at 18 from an acute aneurism. The youngest member of their elite, she had terrible headaches and visions. She went to them as a subject, hoping they could cure her, and they had just helped her open up to her abilities. She was precognitive and telepathic, able to read both the living and the dead. (Medium)

9. Norina Tillans – Has dealt with demons throughout her life, after the “mysterious” death of her parents. She used her connections to make pacts and get her own transition completed. She was ruthless and odd, had a hard time connecting with others. She has not aged past 36. (Demonologist)

10. Reidans Gormsa  - set up shop reading people’s dreams. Their shop was the largest place and, while the others believed them to be a fake at first, they were accepted into their space to use it as a meeting place. They soon found them to be the real thing, when they started to predict things that would happen in their lives from their dreams. They still run the shop but now with their daughter Perntasia.  (Dreamologist)

11. Sithelra orlands – Retired at 68. A traveling monster hunter under the guise of a priest, he found his way to protect people through invitation. He was invited into their group by the twins, when some of their pieces came back together after autopsy. He was the most likely to be possessed himself. (Exorcist)

12. Terhasn Hioenhas – Deceased at 78 of unknown causes. Had visited all of the darkest corners of the world, deep in the gnarled cracks of the most dank and disturbing. Studied the similarities between different forms of the occult. Did so out of curiosity instead of the ability to see the spiritual without aid. (international spiritualist)

All with their own skills and intelligencies. They worked together on translating ancient texts and testing the limits between our world and others. There were prophecies read and trivialized, demons summoned and chastised. Basically they did a lot of shit that they were not supposed to do, all in the desire for more information and more power. Luckily prophecies are crap and all that but they did do some shit that made a prophecy all of its own. Mortismus got in a bunch of shit with this demon, Shdiefrlajsena: The Allotted Death of the Last Stars, summoning them and having it run a huge fucking rampage that set in motion the end of the world. Mortismus and “friends” went after it, trying to stop it and, ultimately, failing. Those who had summoned STADOTLS did not have the power to send it back, thanks to contractual obligations written into the summoning instructions. They do their best, trap STADOTLS and make it so that they cant do too much damage until the grandchild with the wrong eye comes to age and can send the demon back and stop the world from ending. This grandchild is, of course, the main character of this story.  Mortismus spent the rest of his life setting things up so that everything would run smoothly, so that our hero could make the connections necessary, as well as gain the tools needed, in order to fight STADOTLS.

Who isn’t low key breaking down? Who is high key breaking down? BLAINE DEVON. He’s recovering in his own way. He is slowly realising he’s capable of killing other people without thinking. Now, this is ATOG, so they talk it out and blah blah ‘PHALANX SIGHTING FUCK YEAH OMFG’, but this will always be important for his character arc. His humanity and it sometimes blinds him, is dangerous. Grey delves right into that.

Chapter 25

Kurt is so fucking bored, he starts watching The Wire, and wow, Blaine isn’t the only fanboy anymore. Unfortunately, I don’t think Kurt can handle the blogs, otherwise he could’ve made one and followed Blaine.

Speaking of fangirls, BB and Ghostly know what Draxie has done. And so does Kurt. 

(Why must they? They’re not me, they’re decent people. And it’s not stupid and small and childish. You think it’s stupid and small and childish for Blackbindings? It keeps her *sane*, it keeps her *alive* and we both know it. And Draxie, what you write isn’t childish. The feeling in it is real. Your fic actually does come from your heart and people can tell that when they read it.)

Of course, Kurt isn’t happy, but after skimming through Draxie’s blog, he warms up to her. He doesn’t know she still has this low key breakdown. This is where Ghostly, the bitchy voice of reason, comes in.

Draxie got her reality check. She’s always known they were real, and she hasn’t really been disrespectul towards them through her fiction (compared to those fucking idiots who wrotie NC-17 Ghostzilla non-con what the fuck), but it hurts. These people are real. And oh wow, they love each other.

Ghostly is right. It’s time to write again, but this time with her new knowlegde.

Chapter 26

And so it begins.

The vigil. Phalanx attending it. RACHEL BEIGNNG AND IDIOTPC PEIECE OF SHIT???? Character wise, Rachel is well written and kind of amazing in the fic, but do I like her? Shit son. I don’t know. Rachel is a terrible friend, she’s a bigot, she’s judgemental, and she puts her bitterness and pettiness over her ability to think rationally. That’s the main problem. She can’t handle any kind of rejection, so she turns crazy.

At least one good thing comes out of this chapter:

All the Other Ghosts, ghostlanx, R for the kind of violence and threat you could actually expect while superheroing. Because the city is so dark on a night, and what ‘hero’ means to the Ghost can’t just be what he does. 

Chapter 27

This is what I mean.

Rachel’s naitvety and innocence can get her killed jesus fucking christ. Honestly, innocence isn’t the main problem, but her reluctance to listen to someone who’s at least a bit sensible is very frustrating.

But Rachel isn’t the only one with a change of heart (I mean, she kinda has to change her opinions after she finds out the one man she hates the most is actually her best friend and roommate). Sam has his too. I don’t blame Sam for being desperate, although yes, he could’ve thought it through.

And oh- the Ghost realises he is going to die and he only has one person on his mind.

Falling in love was like being the first person to walk on the moon, virgin ground, nothing but his footprints and so many stars. No-one had ever said that this existed. Like no-one had ever been here before, this was so new, so sudden, so unforeseen, so delicate, like it was too much to last. Too pristine, too perfect, so bright the light fractured into tears … nothing so perfect can last in this life. Blaine. More joy than he knew there was in the world, Blaine, and his throat closes. He had so much. He was so rich with love. Maybe too much over too soon is better than a bare trickle paid out through the parched length of a life. Maybe …

Chapter 28

BB has the package, but not for long. (oh, and Blaine totally fanboying about her fic gives me life)

Back to the action. When I first read it, I almost lost my shit when I realised the ‘doc’ is Mr. Schue. It quite fits if I may say so. This entire ordeal also focuses on one of the main problems in the world: how people look past humanity.

Every time something shit happens in history, it’s because people look past humanity. 

The Team makes its first appearance. To this day, I still don’t know how to feel about that team. Sure, they helped them out and by the time Grey ended, the Ghost and Phalanx could rely on them and call them their friends, but a lot of ugly had to happen for that to succeed.

And this is what he’s bringing to save the Ghost’s life, an ill-assorted gang of people Phalanx just met, half of whom have tried to kill him previously while the other half seem more interested in arresting the government traitor than saving his life - and himself, and Finn, too scared to think straight - he has to save his life and this is the best he can do?

Chapter 29

“Because it’s so hard being you. It’s so hard being different and special and you get away with anything you want, you get to rescue people and the rest of us are just here to be rescued, we’re just cattle, aren’t we? You’re the one with the powers, you’re the one who put on the costume, you don’t get to whine about how hard it is being you when all along you’ve been acting like you get to be special and everybody else -”

Wow, I am not like the Ghost. I am all for killing this dude. What is it with people who think they know the Ghost? What is it with people who think superpowers are a gift? Do they honestly think it’s a privilege? Oh for fuck’s sake.

And the Ghost has a full blown panic attack, Phalanx isn’t there, but he knows the Ghost must be going crazy. They both know what those powers mean to the Ghost, and the moment Schuester grabbed the Ghost’s face, he lost it. Gosh. The Ghost. So helpless.

Yet, Blaine is the one who makes him breathe again.

Schuester isn’t the only one who completely misunderstands having powers. It’s not cool. It’s not a great thing. Sure, it can be, but it depends on what you do with it, but it’s not a gift. Sugar finds out. Just like Rachel, her naivety almost kills her. Jesus fucking Christ Sugar.

Chapter 30

I just read seven months worth of fiction in four days or so?

This ending is perfect and filled with happy endings.

Draxie gets the gift, which happens to be the belt of her dreams. Therefor, all the money she was going to spend can be used for other things, which saves her quite some stress.

The last part was so wonderful. It felt so fitting to end this story at Pride and with the Ghost and Phalanx finally being able to take a fucking bow. This story ended on such a high note, you almost forget Grey exists.

Speaking of Grey, I will read it. Grey is my favourite and it’s the only fanfic I straight-up call literature (and because of that, also the only piece of literature I actually like). Why this happened to interest me was because cancer is such a big thing now a days compared to what it used to be. I have a lot of family members that have been diagnosed or even died from cancer and i know im not the only one. I was especially close with my grandma that more recently died of cancer and when i read that music was used to help those relax from the stress of being in the hospital, it hit me in a way that i didnt expect. Watching the video about it on youtube made me happy and happy with the one patient that stated that she had some success after listening to the professional harpist play for weeks. It was interesting listening and to hear that people still play in hospitals for patients because you dont normally hear a lot about musicians playing in hospitals, its more of nursing homes and such.

2. I did use it sometimes therapeutically in high school and i think a little in middle school. I would use it mainly i believe when i was mad or stressed to calm me down and i would pretend i was performing. Music just opens up something else in me that i cant explain to others and i cant ever imagine not playing music.

3. i think the main idea of this chapter was that music brings people together and it always will. Just like they said at the end of the chapter, it can bring a group of random people together that dont even know each other. And as it said throughout the book music has always been apart of history since we found evidence of it. It has just expanded since then.

4. The sources she used were Bobby McFerrin, Daniel Barenboim, Mickey Hart, Petr Janata, Daniel Levitin, and Kay Kaufman Shelemay. I think this list is interesting because for the most part they are all a musician in some way, whether they learned it for their job, for their liking, motivational speaking etc. I have heard of Bobby McFerrin and Daniel Levitin before and i know that they are great musicians. I think she chose these resources because for one they are all creditable and you can search them up yourself to know more about their profession. They for the most part, at least a few, are recognizable whether you have heard their name or heard them play or hear them talk. They all have some kind of education that you know they arent full of hodge podge. 

5. Hearing the space sounds is always fascinating because you dont really know that there is sound in space most or at least myself determine space as silent. The images behind the instrumentalists i think help to bring the story of the piece together in a way that, not make you connect but make you feel the piece if that makes sense. it’s also interesting because you dont really depict space sounds to be mimicked in a way that it can be played on an instrument. I think this to kind of help portray the story of space through music since basically everyone likes music.

6. i dont really understand your question but if im right i would say maybe just drumming to a beat in your head on something near you. Humming a song that maybe stuck in your head to get it out. Singing different intervals to yourself if your bored. coming up with your own piece of music to play or just for fun.

7. He was enthused and had a powerful voice and almost acted like he didnt have anything wrong with him. he knew all of the songs and the later songs he didnt recognize but he knew the style. the next day he had no recollection of even being there or hearing the music.

8. two things that they used were therapeutic singing and melodic intonation therapy. they used musical tones to help him with his speaking for different words. his transformation is a miracle its almost like you cant tell that he even had a stroke in the first place. It just seemed like he was starting to learn to speak as a kid but because of the stroke he had to learn a different way to speak because he cant just listen to others speaking he had to find another way. that way was music.

9. my initial reaction was it was very cute and he knew to respond with the app when he paused which i thought was great and kind of surprising that even though he couldnt speak it he knew what the word meant. i am kind of surprised with how he was taught because i honestly thought there was going to be a lot more involved with helping him to extend his arm and one finger. especially since its a brain function as well and his brain receiving the message from his arm to be able to extend and then knowing where to tap just because of a piece of tape. I think its great that he has gotten to that point of being able to do it on his own.

10. Nothing really happened in my opinion besides the deepening of the back ground sound and the background itself changing slowly as the music continued. i think that something like this is mainly used to put you to sleep or relax you.

Hello Thank you for entering in my post I've been with Admiral insurance for more than 1 year, which is my 1st car insurance since I've been in England I've been driving for more than 12 years and I've never made a claim before it was a normal and clear day and i was going to work when I had an accident with a girl riding a moped It was a very silly accident, fortunatelly none was injured, and I only had a broken wind-mirrow, which is no more than 50 of damage I had to call Admiral, my insurer, to sort the problem out, I had no other choice Admiral told me I was not covered to go to work since on the policy agreement says: use for social, domestic and pleasure purposes only. And, according to them, to be covered, my policy had to be: use for social and COMMUNITY. So Community for them means, going to work, it is ridiculas but that's what i was told However they said we cover you, you will have to pay 23.74 extra and you will be covered, it was frustrating, a theft, but I let it go... The absurd story didn't even start yet! I gave Admiral all the details which the police had given to me the day of the accident plus some pictures of the scene, which I took before to leave that day Admiral sent an inspector who interwied me at my house. This inspector wrote a statement of 6 PAGES! about my accident, however, I need to say, he did a very good job On the statement states that none was injured and the fault lies with the moped rider, which is also what the police said on the scene. In addtion this inspector suggested to call my insurer again to finally get my car fixed. Admiral told me I will have to pay for the damage myself and, after all their investigation, if they find out it was not my fault, I can ask e refund for the damage, and they added that this investigation can take up to 3 years, so I will have my money back in 3 years! this is because according to them, the moper rider was injured This is absolutely incredible What would you suggest? Hello, I recieved a ticket in January for Driving without Insurance in Florida. The officer cited me 110$ and let me go, I stayed off the road for a few weeks immediately purchased insurance within 30 days. I am an 18 y/o female I was recently involved in a serious car accident 3 days ago. so here is what happened, I was traveling southbound and there was an 18 wheeler traveling northbound. I was moving over into my left lane because I was soon about to turn onto the highway.the light was green and I must admit I did see the truck but it was further back so I decided to try and make the left the light was turning yellow and I wanted to beat the light but my main focus shifted to my left rearview mirror because I wanted to make sure there weren't any cars in my blind spot..next thing you know I looked up and the truck was swerving out of control obviously he was trying to beat the yellow light as well and since he is driving a truck it is way much harder to complete an abrupt stop without gliding practically 100 yards..he smashed right into me and dragged my car along with his truck until I was facing northbound with him..my car is completely ruined and totaled..I know for a fact that if I would've had a passenger with me they would've died on impact, I am so blessed because i wasn't injured that bad beside a little torn tissue in my knee,the pain from my seatbelt, minor scratches,bruised lips, and the small cuts from small glass and powder from the air bag, I did however immediately jumped out of the car cause I didn't want to get blown up or anything...anyways the police came..come to find out the truck driver didn't have proof of insurance with him..and we both got a ticket..mines was failure to yield and his was failure to slow down at yellow light so we both were at fault that was my first car and I only had it for a month and I have full coverage..now the big question is once I buy another car will my insurance company let me stay with them?..because I really like them and they are loyal to their words and customers..I also realize that I caused them to lose alot of money compared to how much I paid...""

Not knowing these people very well, my moms main concern is that if this family is crazy ill be stuck there for a whole month with no way to come back. Hello, I am a nineteen community college student living in North San Diego, California and I live with my parents. I make less that $1,000 a month working part time and going to school full-time. I get financial aid from my school, but only for the classes, not the books. My father, the only other worker in my family, makes roughly around $32,000 a year. We barely make the rent each month and barely have enough for gas. About when I was sixteen, I was diagnosed with Gallstones and was urged to better my choice of eating.
