after hao du fought in the challenge and won and afterwards leyan went to see him and they had that entire conversation ahhhh

and basically after he said he really wanted to marry her and they had that hug and leyan was like "how are you going to protect me if you don't recover?" my dude literally became like a whole other person. his cold icy exterior just shattered and he was smiling so much and being less guarded and cautious around her 😭😭😭😭

🏅 What is something you recently felt proud of in regard to your writing (finished a fic, actually planned for once, etc).

oh hmm. i haven't really been writing lately bc uni has taken a lot of my time and brain capacity but i think i can mention that i have been actually planning for once! my current main wip is getting kind of properly planned as i've given myself permission to think about it instead of just agonizing over not instantly writing big chunks of it

🌝 Who is one character you haven’t yet written for that you would like to?

oh! there are a couple of very vague wips that have some characters i would love to explore in depth (li jia from the journey across the night, wei shuyu from the long ballad) and then some characters i don't have any actual plans for but who intrigue me (i.e. ba ye and li cu from the dmbj universe). am not sure what fandoms you are in so this might tell you nothing :'D if i need to pick from mdzs/cql, i'd say jin ling bc i've wanted to explore him (and especially a bit older version of him) in depth just like i did to jiang cheng

💻 Do you do research for your fics? What’s the deepest dive you’ve done?

i am the absolute worst when it comes to research tbh :'D i am super lazy by nature and sure, i might take time to get a few facts straight or get in a tiny little detail (like. i once did a way too deep dive into flower language lol), but i never go into fics with research in mind. with my current main wip i've been considering this more tho bc there are some aspects i would like to get more accurate especially when they're about a culture/historical context/customs am not familiar with. i just keep considering if it's absolutely necessary but then again, it could be extremely interesting and rewarding too
