happy new year Ego!!! Just wanted to let you know that I absolutely adore your twst fanart and the tags are just an absolute pleasure to read! You are my greatest inspiration for my personal twst art and I just wanted to thank you for your wonderful masterpieces <333 if possible, may I ask what are some of your headcanons for the diasomnia family? If not for diasomnia then any other characters are fine as well!
thank you, and happy new year! 💚💜💚 that is amazing to hear; it's always a little bewildering but super flattering that other people like my silly little doodles so much!
I don't think I really have any really solid headcanons and also canon keeps validating me left and right (FLUFFY DOMESTIC DIAFAM IS REAL). mostly just kind of...impressions and general thoughts, if that makes sense! lately though I've been kind of obsessed with thinking about Lilia's hair, and specifically when/why he ended up cutting it. (l-look, we're bouncing around the timeline and I gotta make decisions about these things when I draw, it's relevant) (I mean I would probably be weirdly fixated on this anyway, but.)
I think I've settled on the idea that he kept it long until he went to NRC, partly because 1) I like drawing The Ponytail, and 2) I think he thought of NRC as a chance to reinvent himself a bit! he gets to go and be a wacky carefree teenager for a few years and have fun! (officially he's there to keep an eye on Son #1, but how much trouble could he get into, really.) so he gave himself a Cool Teen Haircut to go with his fresh new Cool Teen Persona!
also maybe he had some reflection on his hair's troubled past with three kids...
...and had to weigh his vanity versus the fact that he was going off to be around hundreds of kids on a daily basis, and. the choice suddenly seemed obvious.

not to get all "actually☝️" about it but. the whole point of this is the fact that it isn't at all eddie's fault and buck just doesn't know how to properly process or recognize his feelings and know what he's missing *until* he gets presented with a specific situation. in truth buck has no right to be mad at eddie for building bonds with other ppl and it's why he has to do some introspection. this is not a "oh no poor buck eddie apologize to him!!!" thing, it's about buck getting, for lack of a better term, a good emotional humbling. eddie deserves good friendships and relationships, full stop. and if he likes the way he feels when he hangs out with tommy then great!! he's his own person and not a tool to further buck's character. but you also can't expect buck to immediately recognize that because, again, and for the millionth time, the whole POINT is that he doesn't. so if it has to get ugly and uncomfortable and embarrassing for him to do so then that is what will happen and that doesn't make either of them bad people. this is not a blame to be passing around. it's just them being human beings

Disclaimer: If you are too young and/or sensitive for the subject matter involved, I wouldn't check this out if I were you.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you one of the most graphically violent moments of Spy vs. Spy (pre-Kuper, apparently):
Jesus Christ! This reminded me of a certain scene from a certain banned episode of Ren and Stimpy (I'm looking at you, Man's Best Friend).
I may have been rather bold, but even my jaw dropped when Black (which was actually a realistic robotic clone of him) straight up went ape s*** on that clone of White. Regardless, the actual Black still apparently got the upper hand over the actual White in the end. For how disturbingly violent that whole scenario is, this is just from Prohias' era, of course; so imagine Kuper's era. Either way, this is among one of those comics that makes me feel like Spy vs. Spy was basically Ren and Stimpy before Ren and Stimpy (either that or Beavis and Butthead before Beavis and Butthead), you know what I mean?
Anyhow, this was taken from the paperback book "Masters of Mayhem," (That title reminds me of the band name "Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.") which is a reprint of the "Spy vs. Spy Follow-Up Files." Ten dollars plus a few more in shipping and handling off of Amazon was quite a smokin' deal, considering that's it is in mint condition.
I do not claim ownership of any content. Spy vs. Spy belongs to the defunct MAD Magazine and the late, great Antonio Prohias.

So given that I hadn't put much thought into my true form design when I first made it (distracted by "I want to draw a comic, not design a true form"), then seeing all the other gorgeous designs out there, the updated information we got in fic, and some good true form cuddles in that Valentine's chapter earlier, I decided to redesign my take of @naffeclipse's cryptid boys!
Toddler and Hunter for scale <3

I love how hotd neglected to take time to properly develop the kids including the competition for throne so they were like let’s do a city tour on aegon’s awfulness like “over here we the child fighting pits which is aegons favourite pass time - and look, that might be his own barstard”

just watched athena begins and oooooooooooooof wow that was like. not a good episode of television 😬 i obv haven't watched s5/s6 yet but i have seen some people criticize kristen reidel by saying she just tells the stories she wants to tell regardless of whether they're in character or fit with the established canon and i got that from this episode big-time

I think I do still like metallic rouge, but it really is the culmination of the constant anti-filler sentiment. There's like 3 seasons worth of character development, worldbuilding, and opening arc caught between every scene.

Leverage is the anti-FX. FX shows have that actor who played that nice character you liked but now you get to watch them be absolute scum.
Meanwhile a random goofy character shows up on Leverage and I'm like, "Who is that? I know that face... Wait, that's that guy from Jessica Jones! I HATE HIM! :D"
