Love this artwork of Violet and her dragons, Tairn and Andarna! It's definitely nice to see a bigger and more size-accurate depiction of Tairn. Beyond obsessed with this book series! Can't wait for the TV show!

The way I see it, Vi and Xaden are compliments of their dragons. Tairn is a grump, but he's always out to protect Andarna and Violet. He has a soft spot for his girls, including Sgaeyl, but otherwise, he's noble, fiersome, regal. Xaden is MUCH the same.

Sgaeyl, on the other hand, is vicious. She's short-tempered, spicy, and gets her point across. She ONLY has eyes for Tairn. Whoooo does this sound like 👀

I’m not sure what I love more about the bonus chapters: Xaden calling Violet a pint-size morsel of straight-up arsenic, or him calling Andarna cute.

Not to mention him calling Sgaeyl my girl.

Violet: What? No I didn't. I said "Thanks man"

Tairn: Do you see me as a father figure, Violet?

Violet: No, if anything I see you as a bother figure because you're always bothering me

Xaden: Hey! Show your father some respect!

Tairn: No, no, no, Violet, I take it as a compliment
