Hope I’m not too late for the party, but Happy Andiversary🥳

I’m a little bit fucked up with butter cream and it looks crumbly but it tastes good 🙃

I also wanted to experiment with flavours more so this cake is with coconut, mango ganache and raspberry filling! Very delicious combination 🤗

I didn’t really have a plan for decoration but I think the letters turned out pretty good🤠

Day 6- Favorite Parallels

I wasn’t in the fandom when the first lookback happened, but I can imagine how excited everyone was because of how the fandom exploded when Tj looked back later in the show.

Of all the parallels in the show, this is one of my favourites bc the lookback is something meaningful, and it was the way they confirmed Tj liked Cyrus.

and it was also lowkey funny to watch tuffy shippers dreams get crushed when they confirmed tj looked at cyrus and not buffy

It's been two years and I still miss this show and this fandom very much :3

so i’d be a clown if i didn’t say something about today??? so for starters- happy one year anniversary to tyrus and muffy! i remember exactly where i was when the finale come out, and as someone who has trouble remembering what she did yesterday that shows you how much it stuck with me. i was in disney world on vacation with my family and hadn’t been thinking about time zones, so i opened tumblr and my dash was covered in people saying that tj stood for thelonious jagger (i feel bad typing it out bc he said we aren’t supposed to tell anyone sorry teej). i remember sobbing in the middle of the world showcase as i continued to refresh my dashboard and watch the spoilers roll in.

as a young gay kid from iowa, i didn’t have much in the way of representation in the media or around me in any way. i didn’t know anybody who was gay until i was in the fifth grade and one of my friends came out to me, and i didn’t even know what being gay was until i was eight or nine. i would have killed to have had a show like andi mack on tv when i was younger. to have been able to see someone like me on my screen would have maybe made me not sit in the closet for so long in retrospect oops

andi mack aired it’s first episode on youtube back in march of 2017 (i think??? if it wasn’t that it was late february). i remember watching it and falling in love with the show. something about the characters just made me want more- and so i continued to follow the show from the sidelines. i watched each episode and read the fanfiction, i even reblogged a gifset every once in a while. but it wasn’t until cyrus came out to buffy that i actually started to get into the friendom. and that was the best decision i ever made.

the friendom might be the best fandom on tumblr? i’m just gonna say it rn? idk i just am so grateful for everyone in this fandom- especially all of y’all who stuck around after the finale aired. you make it not so hard that our emotional support show is gone. i’m gonna wrap this up, but this was supposed to be what andi mack means to me and i derailed really fast oops

so what andi mack means to me. it means home. i never felt alone while watching am and there was never a moment i didn’t feel loved while talking to people in the friendom. i would give anything in the world to have it back- even just for one more season.

Andiversary Week Day 8: Fandom Appreciation Day

The photo we all deserved.

Andi Mack and this fandom have come to mean so much to me, I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am. I officially joined the tumblr fandom sometime in March 2019 after 3x12 aired (right before the eternal hiatus 🙃) while disneymack was working on their Paper Crane Project. That was the my first time seeing how incredibly amazing this fandom is and I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.

Maybe I’m being dramatic but I think this show has quite literally changed my life. Thank you guys so much for supporting me and my art over the last year, I hadn’t been inspired to draw in over a decade before this show, and that’s all changed now.

And since today is officially the last day of Andiversary Week (I cant believe how fast it went by!!) thank you so much to everyone who participated, either by creating your own content or reblogging to support or others. This week couldn’t have been amazing as it was without you 💜

okay this is really just tyrus, but ambi is mentioned a little bit.

The TV turned off with a satisfying click as Amber set the bowl of popcorn on the table. It was nearing midnight, but Margaret Kippen was still wide awake in the kitchen, tapping away at paperwork at the table.

“Alright, I think we’re gonna head to bed, Mom,” TJ called, trying not to wake their dad upstairs. Margaret opened her mouth to say something, but TJ cut her off. “Cyrus stays with me, Andi stays with Amber, I know.”

“Alright, I just had to make sure,” she said, standing to hug her kids. She pressed kisses to the tops of their heads, ruffling TJ’s hair fondly. “Sleep tight, okay?”

They all nodded and murmured their assent, beginning to walk up the stairs as they all said their goodnights. As soon as they reached the top of the stairs, Amber was tugging her girlfriend toward her room, muttering something about how disrespectful it was that she couldn’t kiss her girlfriend in her own home.

TJ rolled his eyes at her antics and moved to tug Cyrus into his room. “I blew up the air mattress, if you want to sleep on it - I totally get it if you do, I know I get very clingy in my sleep.”

“Nah, I think I’m okay with Clingy TJ,” Cyrus said, already climbing into TJ’s bed. They’d all put on pajamas before the movies, having accurately anticipated how tired they’d be when they got into bed. 

TJ chuckled, setting his glasses on the nightstand and getting into bed beside him. His arms automatically wrapped around Cyrus’s middle, pulling him close and kissing him on the forehead. “Sleep tight, bug,” he whispered, listening as Cyrus’s breathing began to even itself out.

“Love you, Teej,” he mumbled sleepily, curling closer to his boyfriend’s chest.

“God, and we call me clingy.”

“Don’t be mean,” Cyrus said, words slurred slightly. He opened his eyes just enough to pout at him. TJ chuckled and kissed him quiet.

“Just go to sleep, Cy. We’ve got pancakes to make in the morning.”
