Good People Vs. Right People

There are many forms of riches, wealth and adventures of successes in life, but I believe true wealth is not as complicated as we have made it to be. Lasting wealth is the awareness of prioritizing what you have and how your experiences enrich your living while you are alive. One of the greatest forms of riches in life is connecting with like-minded people who are going in the same direction as you are, who shares the same values, morals and are passionate about reaching a goals.

No two people are alike, it's true. And while good people are great to have in your life, right is always better. Howso, Andrew, you ask? Very simple. You see, good people are great to have around but that's only a temporary fix to a permanent need.

Don't get me wrong! Good people are great but there's always a catch. Anything good can always get better, and if you work hard enough and wait long enough, even what seemed better yesterday can become the best today...but all things become possible when you have the right people in your life. Right, simply means, it works for me and those I come in contact with. Right is not conditional nor is it a respecter of time, people, places or spaces; right works for you and for them. Right is the innate human compass that guides our conscience. We all know when we do something wrong and the gut-wrenching feeling we get when our stomach is in a knot. But imagine how much better we all feel when we do something right for someone that truly deserves it. Without a doubt we all know how amazing we feel when we do something right for the good of others that possitively impacts them. Right is absolute, while good, better and best are all comparatives that are everchanging. Hence, the reason why humanity is always searching for what's better, is so they can compare themselves to others whom are not as good as they are, but whom are clearly not the worst, but only so they can still socialize with their comparatives, while cosnidering themselves to be the best. And so, the quest to compare ourselves to others lives on. But is this right? The answer is an emphatic no! One of our faults as human that constantly keeps us in contention with ourselves is the art of doing things without having the "RIGHT" reason for doing what it is we do. Here's why. Most humans are zealous about doing "HUMAN THINGS" instead of being "HUMAN BEINGS." LET'S CHANGE THE SCRIPT AND START A NEW CONVERSATION THAT WILL DISRUPT NORMALCY FOR RIGHTNESS SAKES. One that will change the trajectory of our destination in 2021, refocus our vision, repurpose our mission, so we can see ourselves and how we look at others from a lense that reflects humanity in the right frame of context. We can't wait for tomorrow. Now is the time because yesterday's old news is gone, and while tomorrow is fresh and young, I believe that tomorrow might be too late for you to be great! There's truly no better time than the present to transform ourselves, our home, our communities and the world at large. This is why I'm so excited about our new ILIR-PODCAST season. We will be tackling some topics that may cause you to shift your mindset and disrupt your normalcy of living, so you can transform your life aND create your greatest impact!

If only we could put aside our differences, no sooner would we realize that our differences make us more similar than we are different. You Are A Pixel And Part of The Big Picture

YOU DON'T HAVE TO WISH YOU COULD BE LIKE SOMEONE ELSE OR DO WHAT THEY DO...YOU ARE TOO UNIQUE TO BE MISSED, AND TOO UNFORGETTABLE TO BE FORGOTTEN!

Many times we take for granted how special we are, and live our lives in obscurity and vicariuoisly exist as a figment of our imaginary superheros.

Your role in whatever part you play speaks a louder volume than wishful thinking could ever tell. You matter! You are enough!  You are necessary! Sometimes we just need people who care about us to remind us of how significant we are in the big picture. Many times we get lost in the shuffle and lose our way. But always remember that every picture, regardless of it's size, is made up of pixels. Pixels in a picture are just like the cells of the human body; they are the part we cannot see with the naked eye, but without them the images we now see would be impossible. These  small units play the biggest role. There would be no picture without the tiny pixels to tell the big story. If you remove one pixel, you don't have a picture. So what's the message, "Don't miss the big picture because you are stuck inside the frame!" If you are wondering, "Andrew, what is this big picture you're talking about?" Simply put, the big picture is the total you. Your failures, setbacks, triumphs, victories and defeats...Everything that makes you the person you are today: your past, present and the future you aspire to be. That's who you are. But in order to experience the full view of you the picture, you must think outside of the frame. And never forget that #diversity and inclusion are vital to every picture. It takes every kind of tiny pixels to complete a picture. Your uniqueness is a necessity to your completion of the big picture we see and experience.  It's the message we all need...that our life assignment help others fulfill theirs.
