Winter was the one season that you dreaded most every year. You missed the flowers and their happy colors, you missed not freezing, and you missed not having seasonal depression. Winter had almost seemed like a synonym for loneliness to you.

As a child you had loved it. You were always playing in the snow with your sisters, building snowmen and making snow angels. But your childhood was cut short when your parents divorced in your first year of elementary school and now all that came with winter was pain and bitterness.

The coldness reaching you under the blanket made you shiver and you snuggled closer to the body next to you. An arm embraced you and pulled you closer into the heat, warming you up. A gentle kiss was placed on the tip of your nose.

“Good morning, angel“

“Five more minutes,“ you whined. “You‘re so comfortable.“

Your boyfriend made sure the blanket was covering you properly before gently stroking your hair and closing his eyes again.

This was a first. Your first winter since long not spent all by yourself. You and K had started dating in spring, your favorite season, and all had been happiness, rainbows and unicorns but you had been dreading what would come once winter came around. But surprisingly all was fine. K loved winter and he loved you so he made sure his favorite person, too, would be happy during his favorite time of the year.

With your stomach interrupting this peaceful moment you decided to finally get up and have some breakfast. You sat down on the couch with a mug of your favorite tea in your hands, head leaning against K‘s shoulder. He turned on a Christmas movie, the morning passing by slowly and peacefully.

Once the movie was done he went to bring the mugs to the kitchen but he halted in his movements and suddenly squealed.

“It‘s snowing!“ K‘s eyes lit up and his entire face was shining.

Seeing him so happy over a little bit of snow made you smile. How could you ever hate the snow when this is what you got in return?

He looked at you with puppy eyes and you couldn‘t resist asking. “Do you want to go outside?“

He took your hands in his and beamed.

“Can we?“

You put on matching gloves, scarfs, and hats that K had bought as a present in August, overexcited to spend winter with you. You posed in front of the mirror, taking cute pictures and enjoying how well you two were matching.

K took your hand and almost dragged you out the door, halting when you stepped out into the street. He stretched out his hand toward the sky, collecting snowflakes in his palm and watching them melt. Reluctantly, you started doing the same, reaching your arms out and admired the magnificent variety of shapes that the snowflakes came in.

A rather big snowflake settled on K‘s cheek and you instinctively reached to wipe it away. His cheeks turned red, clearly affacted by something other than the cold.

“There was a snowflake,“ you explained. He nodded.

All of a sudden he leaned down and kissed you on the lips.

“Sorry, there was a snowflake,“ he said, a satisfied smile on his face.

Your next stop was the park by your apartment. The pond where you usually sat by and watched the ducks, was now completely frozen and you saw little kids with their parents ice skating. Settling at a spot nearby, the two of you started rolling the snow, making sure to get it nice and big and round in preparation for a magnificent snowman. The occasional snowball was thrown and instantly paid back by the one being attacked. One of his snowballs missed you by a hair but managed to knock the head off of your snowman. You looked at each other and started laughing. You simply made a new one.

You moved on to the flower field that was now, of course, completely covered in snow. You spent all summer there, lying in the grass, talking with K. Obviously, this was the perfect place to make some snow angles.

You were embarrassed but you still giggled the entire time, your inner child clearly having fun and healing. It didn‘t even feel that cold. The snow was soft and comforting and hearing your boyfriend‘s giggles was like a melody to your ears. K, with his long limbs, managed to make a far bigger snow angel than you did. It looked like his was a guardian angel watching over yours.

His nose glowed pink as he looked over to watch you. He took your hand and you just laid there for a couple of minutes, enjoying each other‘s company in silence.

“Thank you for making me fall in love with winter again.“

“Thank you for falling in love with me.“ He sat up and came closer. “And thank you for letting me love you.“

He went to cup your face with the intention to warm up your flushed cheeks, forgetting all about the snow on his gloves. You didn‘t say anything. Instead, you scooted closer.

Your lips met and warmth spread through your body like fire.

You pulled away and smiled.

Both of you said at the same time: “There was a snowflake.“

K : Literally pulled you deeper into his huge chest. Your eyes widen from his action but before you could even turn around to say something, he hugged you tight with his right arm, that was huge enough to wrap your entire body in one swing. “Is my baby finally brave enough to sit on my lap~?” – a teasing chuckle followed as he whispered in your ears that got your entire face reddening. It’s been a while since you’ve wanted to sit on K’s huge lap, it seemed like such a comfortable seat to you personally, but you can’t deny that you were too shy. K knew you too well, but he wanted you to come to him on your own so he stayed quiet. He made sure to reassure you that it was totally fine to do so when you finally managed to let your intrusive thoughts win.

Fuma : Would stiff up subtly as soon as he felt your weight on his lap. It was just a normal evening, Fuma was focused on his game, headphones attached to him, his friend yelling incoherent words from the other line. You took this chance to try out something. You sneakily kept your closure to his figure sitting on the gaming chair before taking the opportunity to launch yourself on him. He was definitely shocked and it was obvious he lost focus from the game from the very start. When you started squirming on top of him though, he’ll hold you by the waist, still all your movements – “honey, stay still, I need to focus” That’s when you notice, your subtle little attempt wasn’t all that subtle.

Nicholas : The fastest person to make your existence on his lap known. Would straight up call you out and tease you about it. He would dwell on that little action of yours for weeks while completely teasing you about it nonstop. He’d spin you around, making you face him and look you straight in the eyes with a  smug look on his face – “I see someone’s let their intrusive thoughts take over” You pouted at him, gesturing that you’re getting off immediately, refusing to take his tease but you’re only met with a tight pull at your waist and a sweet strawberry flavored kiss to your lips.

Ej : Would stiff up very evidently and even started squirming around at one point. Honestly, it ain’t even on purpose, he truly wanted to keep his reaction subtle but he’s just still got a lot more to learn from Fuma hyung apparently. He’d stiffen up so much to the point you would even notice, stilling his breathing while the air is caught in his throat as he struggled to find a certain distraction to keep him calm. You’d let out a chuckle when you found his entire face reddening and sweating. “Stop laughing~ you’re the one who started this..” – he spoke in a sulky tone as you kept chuckling at him. This little blushy tangerine didn’t even gave you a chance to blush first.

Yuma : The literal tease. But not as teasing as K. As soon as he felt your body heat on his lap, he’ll turn his head straight to your direction in the most obvious way. Will start squishing your cheeks and babying you, smiling like a cheeky kid inside from how happy he is. “Awww look at you so adorable on my lap~!” You grabbed him by his collar, landing a soft kiss on his lips to shut him up. And as expected, he’s content with your little payment, pulling you back into a deeper kiss just as bonus payment~

Jo : The ‘I did noticed’ but nonchalant one. Obviously the sudden warmth he felt on his lap wasn’t just to his imagination, especially when you started squirming around, disturbing his view of the book in his right arm. Out of nowhere, you felt a huge palm pinning down both your arms while pulling you closer to lean against him. “If you wanna have a seat.. stay still.” You’d panic a bit now that you noticed he knew but soon you came to a sense of comfort, on his warm lap, tightly wrapped cozily by his arm.

Harua : The Uno Reverse Card user. Would start squirming as soon as he felt your weight on him. Trying to keep it subtle but poor bunny boy can’t help that he was obviously a bit more petite compared to other group members and this applied to his strength and endurance as well. Finally had enough and gets up, pushing you up a bit before seating you back down. Then the most unexpected thing happens, he sat right on your lap as you looked at him with widen eyes. “Don’t mind me~” – speaking in a sassy tone as he started scrolling through his phone while you kept giving him side eyes.

Taki : He’s the ultimate mixture of Yuma and Harua. Don’t expect for this boy to let you get a free seat on him unless there’s a payment method. And his payment isn’t a simple sweet little kiss, no. It’s actually you allowing him to practically do the same to you whenever he wants. You want to sit on his lap? That’s okay but you’ll also have to let him sit on your lap. But you weren’t one to know this system beforehand, taking it as a free chance for a free seat when you caught him, legs crossed on the bed, focused on his phone screen. It’s only when you’ve taken a seat, which you knew you were now in deep trouble – “Oh~ seems like my cutie fell for my trap~”

Maki : The literal gentleman. He maybe the maknae and he maybe a tease but he’s definitely far off from the other group members when it comes to teasing. He barely teases you, because most of the time all you get is princess treatment. Would be completely comfortable with your sudden action, even resting his head on your shoulder to make you feel closer and more cozy with him. But then his sudden worry would click in his head. You could feel the soft warm breath of this gentle boy in the crook of your neck, when he spoke in a worry but gentle tone – “Had a bad day, love?”

you’re stirred awake and as you're about to get mad at him he makes it clear he was joking and throws his arms around you tightly

"It's okay, if my baby wants to sleep we can sleep."

really he's just trying his utmost to gloss over the fact that you sleeping on his shoulder made his heart skip several beats and he's also sincerely praying you can't see that his ears are beet red

this just made him feel way too many feelings, and as he's letting you snuggle up to him while you're lying down on the couch he's kinda starting to regret his reaction

as he’s finally calming down he must admit you falling asleep on his shoulder was kinda nice, so from that day on he keeps hoping it would happen again

Fuma:

you're on the way home after a date night out and he can tell you're very tired

so he makes sure you can sit on the subway home, and once the seat next to you clears up he sits down too

will wordlessly put his arm around you and pull you just a little closer so that your heavy head will soon come to rest on his shoulder naturally

and then you really do fall asleep with him as your pillow, and what started as a simple caring gesture is soon causing him serious heart problems jdbdjdjx

this guy will just be blushing madly while trying to hide it from all the other people in the same carriage jdbdndnd

and if he hears you snoring softly that will just take him out, like he will be about to combust into a billion pieces right then and there

needless to say, once you arrive at your station, he will be the more tired one, and not just because you got a nice little nap to restore your energy :’)

Nicholas:

notices right away that you're super tired when your eyelids keep drooping in the middle of the day

you're over at his place for an entire day of just watching movies with him, but you're not even halfway through the first one and you're already dozing off at the other end of the sofa

he knows that the reason why you're falling asleep isn’t because the movie he picked out is so boring to you, but he feels the need to tease you about it anyway

"I didn't think you'd be that bored by it?" 

his playful complaint shocks you awake and you're quick to assure that that's not it

however, all your worries fade away when you see him grinning at you, and he extends his arms to bring you in closer

tells you it's okay and that he understands you didn't get much sleep last night

offers you his shoulder to take a nap and suggests finishing the movie afterwards

you agree without even being able to think about it, and you immediately doze off again

when you wake up you find yourself laying right beside him on the sofa, your head on his chest and his fingers drawing soothing patterns on your back

EJ:

lets out a soft "oh" when he feels the impact on his shoulder and he can smell your perfume right next to his face

you're studying together at his place, and because he knows how tired you are he tried his best to make it as fun as possible, coming up with elaborate examples to explain the parts you don't get and bringing your favourite snacks as a reward after memorizing each page

but now that you actually dozed off on his shoulder it dawns on him just how tired you really were

"Y/N..." - he calls out to you softly until he can see your eyelids flutter

tells you it's probably better if you rest for today and you continue studying tomorrow

when you agree and snuggle up to him more closely, he lets you

but his heart will also do the funniest things while watching you sleep peacefully so close to him…

Yuma:

his heart does flutter when your head suddenly hits his shoulder, but above all he's surprised that you're dozing off in the middle of the day

"Y/N... Y/N!" - calls out to you until you lift your head and look at him sleepily

scolds you for not sleeping enough at night and gives you a little lecture about how you need to use the day to be productive and the night to rest - not do whatever all night!!

when you start sulking and you tell him you couldn't fall asleep for hours he also realizes he might've been too strict

"Still... nighttime is for sleeping so... if you think you can't fall asleep tell me and I'll come over and help, okay?"

and now you find yourself smiling as he pulls you into an apologetic hug

lets you nap for a bit as you use him as a pillow, but makes sure you don't sleep too long so you could get a good night's rest later on

Jo:

he’s startled when he suddenly feels your head on his shoulder for sure, but after a second or two he’ll simply be smiling at you in adoration

the two of you went out to see a movie together - a pretty fun action movie - and he wasn’t aware of just how tired you must’ve been

but now that you’re dozing off on his shoulder despite the loud sound effects and a storyline he knows would’ve normally had your eyes glued to the screen in excitement, he can’t but let out a soft laugh

he’s not mad at you for falling asleep during your date, quite the opposite actually

he finds it adorable and highly amusing how you can sleep under such circumstances

will carefully put an arm around you to pull you closer, and though feeling you sleeping by his side like this makes his heart beat just a bit faster, he’ll simply let you have your nap time

will give you a soft laugh once you wake up, and he swears he’s not laughing at you, he’s laughing because you were just so cute!!

he’s been talking to you about something and got really into it, so when you feel your ability to focus slipping away from you more and more you do feel sorry for him

but you also don’t want to stop him in his excited rambles, so you do your best to listen anyway

however, eventually your eyelids become too heavy and before you realize it you’re already dozing off with your head on his shoulder

“...ohmygod…” - he breathes out with wide eyes, completely panicking at the sudden closeness to you

whirls around before he can get himself together, and as a result your head now lands in his lap

and well, now he’s blushing madly, but eventually he’ll collect himself enough to figure that it’s better if he lets you sleep and gets you a blanket so you’re comfortable

forgets all about what he was talking about just earlier, and as he’s taking in your features from up close, tracing the lines on your face with a soft gaze, he feels himself calming down too

was joking around with you while you two were watching a video on his phone and gets so into it that he fails to notice how you're getting sleepier and sleepier

as soon as your head lands on his shoulder, he's so surprised that he freezes up

he's not used to having you so close to him and also the way he can suddenly very clearly smell the perfume you're using makes his heart race like crazy

but instead of freaking out he figures he should simply let you get some rest if you're this tired and not move around until you wake up again by yourself

awkwardly fishes his headphones out of his pocket to continue watching the video without bothering you

but turns out he really cannot focus on a single thing happening on his phone screen while you're using him as a pillow :')

he saw it coming. “y’know I won’t bite right? why are you looking at me like that. go ahead, pat me if you want.” so you did when he lowered his head. he’d close his eyes and enjoy it, he looks peaceful :)

is surprised by how much he likes it. when you’re done patting his head, he’s internally screaming, “do it more!!!” he never lets it out unfortunately ���.ㅠ

has become a regular occurrence. you absolutely love the fluffy hair. you want to ruffle it, detangle it, squish it. so you do it all. ej just patiently lets you do whatever you want tbh.

he was talking a lot. and he has a self-proclaimed healthiest hair ever. of course, you wanted to feel it. and you did. it silenced him immediately. his hair was so thick, you were almost jealous. while yuma just hopes you can’t hear his rapid heartbeat because he feels all fuzzy inside.

he’s so confused when you asked him to lower himself close to you. “lower.” “here?” “little lower.” “like this?” “just a bit more.” and when he finally did, you didn’t hesitate to do it. he can’t help but gape at you the entire time haha.

it was an impulsive moment. he was being cute as usual, so your hand just shoots up and gently pat his head. what you didn’t anticipate was, him immediately mirroring what you’re doing and started patting your head too. so it’s just the two of you giving pats to each other ❤︎

taki

he was especially energetic more than usual and won’t calm down. you’d lazily give him a pat but then he stayed still. so you give him longer pats every now and then when he couldn’t stay still. taki’s used to being baby-ed, so this was nothing new, but he loves receiving it from you the most.

ohh this boy is obsessed! he’d directly request it to you. it’s almost like grooming a massive dog. sometimes you’d comb through his hair with your fingers, other times you’d do it with a hairbrush. he loves it, and you love the smile he flashes whenever you do it, so it’s safe to say the obsession is mutual.

while soft music played on the stereo system, the room's subdued lighting added to the festive ambience. the room's subdued lighting added to the festive atmosphere after the hot dinner you'd just enjoyed — yudai looked at you with nothing but pure adoration in his eyes. and suddenly, he rose from his chair, approaching you and holding out one of his hands. « do you wanna dance? » he asked you sweetly. and offering him the prettiest of your smiles, you grabbed his hand as you stood up, before he pulled you into his arms, making you dance slowly to the music, stealing a subtle kiss or two now and then.

fuma ⭒ decorate a christmas tree together

even if december had just begun, you'd already pulled out all the boxes of christmas decorations to put up around the house. and unsurprisingly, fuma was more than determined to help you set everything up with a playlist full of christmas songs playing in the background. after decorating the walls, the windows and the fireplace, the two of you set to work on the christmas tree, which would be the centerpiece of the decorating scheme. rummaging around for baubles and tinsel, he found nothing better than to wrap one of them around you — whispering to you that it was you he wanted to find under the tree on christmas morning.

nicholas ⭒ drive around the city to see the christmas lights

one winter's night, when tb programs couldn't take away your boredom, nicholas had the brilliant idea of taking you for a drive. he saw the way your face lit up when he talked about taking you to see the christmas decorations on the city streets — nothing had warmed his heart more than the smile on your face that night. driving slowly, glancing at you from time to time, he watches you stick your head out the car window to get a perfect view of all the city lights. and he can swear that seeing all the lights reflected in your eyes is the most beautiful thing he's ever seen.

euijoo ⭒ get caught in the first snow of the season

it's a quiet evening, when night falls softly on the city, and the winter wind tingling on your fingers that are clinging to euijoo's arms. you're both busy talking about anything and everything, your eyes shining under the streetlights when suddenly a snowflake enters your field of vision. stopping in your tracks, you look up at the sky to watch the snow fall from the stars — the first snowfall of the year makes your rendezvous even more magical than it already was. especially when you see a snowflake gently settle on ej's chestnut hair.

yuma ⭒ holiday shopping dates

he didn't want to go — but who is he to resist your puppy dog eyes? so, of course, yuma finally gave in and followed you in your holiday shopping. and against all expectations, he kinda enjoyed strolling through the mall's aisles, especially when he saw your cheerful face and radiant smile. the boy is so in love with you.. he even ends up carrying all your shopping bags, suggesting you buy this or that for this or that person — he's more invested in christmas presents than you are.

jo ⭒ watch a christmas movie

you can see the snow falling through your living room window, while the colourful lamps give the room a cosy, festive atmosphere. jo finally joins you on the sofa, slipping silently under the plaids to snuggle up to you — with a tray full of snacks and two scorching hot chocolates, you're ready to watch your first christmas movie of the year. and even if he doesn't really find them exceptional, he loves watching them with you and look at your star-filled eyes like a child facing his christmas presents.

harua ⭒ baking sugar cookies together

you know very well that the kitchen will end up in a pitiful state, that the flour will probably end up on the floor and that a pile of dishes will accumulate in the sink, but it doesn't matter : you want to make your sugar cookies with harua's help, whatever it takes. so, even if you follow the recipe perfectly and carefully, one sudden movement and the packet of flour spills at your feet, creating a small cloud in the center of your room. laughing as you look up at the boy beside you, you finish the cookies without making any more mess. or at least — not too much. (and the sugar cookies taste just about right)

taki ⭒ build a snowman together

as you step outside, you're greeted by a soft winter breeze and a white carpet of snow covering the ground in your parents' garden. there's nothing like perfect snow to make a snowman in front of your house — but you need the help of your long-time sidekick to pull it off, which is why taki joins you directly after seeing you roll a ball. and even though the cold makes you want to go home in the warmth, seeing the boy working with you makes you smile widely. a few finishing touches : a red scarf, pebble eyes and a carrot nose, and you're done.

maki ⭒ have a snowball fight

The morning coffee cup in his hand is now being squeezed tight to the point the liquid was starting to seep out the lid. “oh babe um.. you’re done getting the coffee? Sorry I’m afraid I must take my leave now, Nicho” you quickly answered him while excusing yourself from your conversation mate trying to make best of the situation. Nicholas, your chatmate caught up to the situation fast, giving you a nod as a goodbye as he watched you both walked away with a slight stinging stare in his narrowed eyes, almost summoning invisible daggers at K’s direction.

Thankfully, you succeeded in separating you and K from Nicho but your sigh of relief was shortly interrupted by a loud thud as you were pinned to the wall of the alleyway, a tall strong figure towering above you.

“So.. finally done running that mouth honey~?”

Fuma : The radient purple and blue dwelled on the sky canvas as nighttime falls. You were pretty bored but was also filled with a spring of energy hence why you dragged your boyfriend, Fuma all the way to the night bar with you. The original plan was to simply hang out on your seats alone with glasses of red wine in each hand and sharing kisses but it was all rudely interrupted when a sudden ‘hello’ popped out from behind you. “Ah! Euijoo..? Long time no see!” You instantly got up from your seat giving him a warm hug which he quickly reciprocated, earning a slight glare from the man beside you two. “Didn’t knew you would show up in a place like this”, you teased the young boy in front of you. Euijoo always had a pure innocent look to him. He seemed like the type of guy who have never even held a girl’s hand let alone date one and he sure is definitely not the guy to show up at a bar. “Haha I just saw you through the glass pane so I wanted to come in and join you” Somehow this statement seemed to have only pissed your already fuming boyfriend off. He came here specifically just to see you? Hell no not on my watch. You felt a hand snaked right around your waist as you felt a figure shift closer to you. “Dear~, it’s pretty late already.. maybe we should head back what do you say?” You didn’t think much of it since Fuma wasn’t a type to be jealous anyways but you only took his words as him being caring. “Sorry Euijoo, maybe we can arrange a day where we can talk properly?” “Sure! I’ll see ya soon!” You waved goodbye to the sweet boy as Fuma dragged you out of the bar in a very unusual almost aggressive manner.

The car was steadily parked in front of the apartment block as feet and shoes clashed in the door way. Your breath was directed right at Fuma’s exposed neck as he unraveled his tie. His muscular arms trapping you in between while your back stuck to the wall.

“You’re testing my patience way too much love~”

Nicholas : You were seated cozily between the two taller boys, under a warm sky blue blanket as a horror movie played on the screen in front. The couch kept constantly swinging from the motions of your best friend K jumping and twitching at every jumpscare. “Seriously K, that was a really expected one you know” “Oh c’monnn! The face was still pretty scary though!” he defended back as he clinged onto you. “Oi you’re heavy c’mon get off” K was about to make another whiny remark when he felt the pressure of a strong hand gripping onto his. “You’re gonna end up giving her a muscle strain” a low voice followed by a chuckle arose from behind you. Still the teasing chuckle did not help on hiding the irritation in your boyfriend’s voice. The grip around K’s hand kept tightening until he finally caught up to his irritation as he let go of your shoulder, the grip weakening.

You three practically just coughed awkwardly and played it off as the movie kept advancing. It’s just been a few minutes until you felt a hand of someone on your thigh. The cold rings on the fingers sent tingles down your skin but before you could try to rule out the person, you felt a low breathy voice in your right ear.

“Don’t you think you’re getting too close to your dear best friend, babygirl?”

Euijoo : “Yah! That’s cheating you can’t cross that area!” you screamed your hands set on the game controller moving your fingers on the keys in a swift pace. “Oops, sorry~ well you gotta learn how to work around the rules, you should learn from me” a prideful voice arose from the towering figure sat beside you. “Excuse me?!” It wasn't long until you started tickling him as he reciprocated the action. Fuma is one of your boyfriend’s close friend that he introduced to you since you two started dating. And well you’re a pretty outgoing person so it didn’t take long for you to get comfortable with Fuma in a brotherly way of course. You guys always bricker and share a lot of physical contact which you believed your boyfriend, Euijoo would not mind at all. He’s always been sweet and understanding and definitely is the furthest thing from being jealous or possessive. Well that’s what you thought until you felt a hand stop the bickering between you and Fuma, as the hand grabbed you gently but swiftly away from him. “Alright guys enough play fighting” the sweet voice of your boyfriend was heard loud and clear behind your ear and throughout the room.

You and Fuma just went silent with a pout on each of your faces. The boy sticked his tongue out your way as he turned his head back towards the screen to return back to gaming and you still a bit pissed off at the taunt, planned to do the same until you felt Euijoo’s whisper in your ear.

“Baby.. you shouldn’t keep testing my patience like this..~”

Yuma : Even though your cat-like boyfriend could be quite chaotic most of the time but he sure does put all his effort into planning dates for you two. Except this time things didn’t went as expected. Your best friend had somewhere to be at immediately. This led to her basically yeeting her younger brother Jo right at your doorstep telling you to keep him accompanied for the time being. It’s not that Jo was a 1 year old child or anything, he’s pretty much almost 20 and a full grown adult. But he had a pretty overprotective sister who would either keep him with her or leave him to someone she entrusts so the age card didn’t really helped. And now here he was tagging along on you and your boyfriend’s well-planned date. Not that you mind it, you pretty much just noted it as a three-people hangout. He was pretty quiet and just listened to whatever you and Yuma had to say. He’s pretty much like a cute clueless little kid following you two but that same thought didn’t seep through Yuma’s head. Not that Yuma was making a big scene out of it all neither was he fuming from the head or something. But he sure was being a pouty clingy kitty.

And it wasn’t long until you felt his body heat on your back pressed up against you. You could see Jo being distracted by some kind of treat and you were glad he was. You felt a hand on your waist and fluffy hair sneaked cozily on the side of your neck.

“Hmph.. love~ you’ll need to pay me back with cuddles when we get back home~”

Jo : The gleaming sun was already up and high in the sky. You turned to your side to check the alarm as it read 10:02am. As usual you made your way downstairs, sprinting straight to your tall boyfriend standing in the hallway with a bowl of Japanese white rice in his hands, hugging him in a whiff as he stumbled back from your sudden force. “Baby! I’m hungryyy~” you opened your mouth expecting him to be sweet enough to feed you some of his rice. Instead you opened your eyes to witness him putting the spoon in his own mouth as a cheeky smug formed across his face. Your boyfriend is the most caring one in the world but food is an exception. He’s too much of a foodie to even share which didn’t really ticked you off but still always earned a pout from you. “Hehe no worries~ your savior is here!” you heard a cute energetic tone sprang behind you as well as the wrinkling of the plastic bags containing milk buns. “Yay! You’re the best!” you whined, hugging your friend Harua instantly earning a surprised yelp from him.

That’s when you felt a sudden pull from behind as your back was glued to Jo’s chest in just a few seconds before you tasted the white rice in your mouth. Jo was tilting the spoon into your mouth with fixed cold eyes on Harua. The eyes that seem unphased but also a bit irritated in the same sense.

“No need. She prefers rice for breakfast.”

Harua : Today was supposed to be the perfect food date for you and Harua; but things did not turned out as planned when you two decided to check out a dango stall around the corner.

Harua, your sweet boyfriend, is really keen on sweets and snacks so are you. Finally, you two came up with a plan that the very next date should be at a food market where dim lit snack stalls stand in a long line of queue awaiting for visitors. And as planned, the very next Sunday you both were at the location running left and right, an assortment of dishes sprawled out on each stall. Seeing the tri-colored dango stand on the other side of the line, the two can’t help but sprint right to there. “Hello! Can I have this, and this and that.. and-“ the orders were shortly paused when you caught a glimpse of the boy in front packing up the dango orders. “Taki!?” “Oh hey! Finally noticed me missy? Didn’t knew you would forget me that easily oh my” as dramatic as ever. “Haha jk! Anyways yea I’m just working parttime in the stall here for now, maybe you wanna grab a drink or two after work hours?” You smiled, a ‘yes’ about to leave your lips before you felt your boyfriend’s gentle hand on yours.

“Sorry, her evening is occupied.”

Taki : Woo hoo! Amusement park with Taki! Nothing could compare to how fun that would be. Until you were proven wrong.

You two ended up running into your boyfriend’s older brother, K. You were now convinced this date which has just turned into a hangout is gonna be even more fun! I mean who wouldn’t have fun with such a funny chaotic playful K in the equation. But that same formula doesn’t apply to your boyfriend because an obvious shade formed on his face as soon as K popped up. Before you realized your feelings for your best friend Taki, you had a deep crush on none other than his brother K. Not that you had confessed or anything, but you simply moved on later onwards and you obviously did not take account or take notice that little Taki would be a bit possessive and careful about that past statement. But Taki knew about it all and he is infact not as friendly about it as you thought. And now things turn for worse when you’re smiling and giggling, having way too much fun with K at YOUR DATE WITH TAKI. He’s definitely fuming. “Taki? Baby you’re awfully quiet. Something wrong?” you finally took notice of his absurd change in behavior. Him not wanting to ruin the day and the vibes; “Yea yea, just maybe the heat is getting to me” Obviously, Taki’s lie did not get past you but before you could even reply to his excuse, you felt yourself get dragged in a whip right into one of the capsules of the ferris wheel.

“Finally noticed me now huh?”

Maki : You never took Maki as the type to be a jealous person especially because he is always such a gentleman. The only image of him that filled your head was gentle, sweet, understanding and definitely the furthest thing away from the words possessive or jealous.

But it seems you didn’t know him well enough or he’s just too good at hiding it; he couldn’t hide it no more though, specifically when his older cousin, Nicholas paid a visit to you two. Just a simple helper who came to help out you two in your cooking session right? Except that the helper himself is a flirt; which was not helping the situation out at all. Nicholas unlike his cousin Maki got absolutely NO CHILL, and I’m talking he will rizz you up and flirt with you any chance he got, throwing smirks at Maki’s direction whenever he catches your boyfriend’s death glares. You were cutting up some Chinese cabbage when you felt a hand snaked around your waist. Assuming it was your boyfriend you turned around to find someone else. “Woah Nicho? ..what are you doing?” “Hm? Why? Can’t I just watch from here~?” a smug look on his face. Before you could recover from your shocked state, you were pulled right into a warm chest, far left from Nicho which pushed you to look up.

“No. No you cannot watch.”

Desc.: You're mad at your boyfriend for being too tall to give him surprise kisses.

"You're too tall."

"Huh?" Your boyfriend, caught completely off guard by your comment, turns around to give you a highly confused look. And then as soon as he sees your offended expression, a soft laugh escapes him. With a jerk of his eyebrow he walks over to you from the other side of the living room, fists placed on his sides, and as he puffs out his chest he asks, "Why? Cause you can't reach me?"

"Yeah..." you grumble a response, slightly annoyed with his demeanor, but when he shows you a boyish grin next second, you just don't find it in you to stay upset.

"That's too bad..." Yudai says, now capturing his own chin between his thumb and index finger of one hand, as if he was seriously pondering on the matter. You know he's not. You know he's messing with you like he so often does, and you know it's no more than playful banter. Still, as you glance up at his face that's just out of reach, you feel frustrated again.

"Forget it..." you mutter eventually, turning on your heels in order to walk away. "This is stupid anyway."

"What is?" Your boyfriend is quick to respond, and when you've taken a few steps in the opposite direction you bite your lip, deciding to gather the courage to say it anyway.

"Just... you're tall so it's... complicated..."

"What?" you hear Yudai snort behind you, not quite following you.

"Your height!" 

"I got that, yeah."

"Like..." You turn back around, the flustered expression on your face making him raise his eyebrows. It's clear he can't accurately estimate the seriousness of the situation, and as he tenses up slightly, straightening his back you remind yourself to relax. "Like... you know... when you just steal a kiss from me or stuff like that..."

"Yeah?" Another short laugh escapes him, and he raises the corners of his mouth into a lopsided grin.

"I can't do that to you whenever I want... and that's..."

"Too bad?" he finishes your sentence.

"Annoying," you correct him. 

"...that's it?" he then asks. "That's what you got so worked up over?"

"Yeah..." you quietly respond, avoiding to look him in the eye because you find that you are highly embarrassed over being upset because of such an insignificant thing after all. However, Yudai walks over to you, and when he's standing right in front of you he leans down so he's now on eye level with you. Hands in the pockets of his jeans, he starts talking again.

"Then we're just gonna have to make up some sort of signal for when you need me to lean in real quick so you can kiss me." Your face heating up at his ridiculous suggestion, you stutter an answer,

"Th-that's stupid!" And while keeping your voice down, you add, somewhat shyly, "Also it's not gonna be a surprise like that..."

"I'll act surprised?" he retorts.

"That's not the same!"

"Try it! I can make it seem very realistic - I'm a good actor!" Yudai insists.

"But-"

"Are you trying to tell me you're questioning my acting skills?"

"It's not satisfying if you're acting! Forget it..."

"Y/N..." he calls out your name as he's standing up straight again. "I think you're failing to consider one option here..."

"Wh-what?" you stammer, your embarrassment about to take you out right then and there. "Can we just end this already? I know it's stupid..."

"It's not stupid... come here." You watch as your boyfriends pulls over one of the chairs by the dinner table, patting it once to signal to you what he wants. Slightly confused, you take a step towards him, and with him holding your hand for support, he assists you in stepping up onto the chair. Once you're in position, now significantly taller than your boyfriend, he places his other hand onto your waist so as to steady you.

"So...?" you ask, still not being able to connect the dots and figure out what the point of all this is. And then, catching you completely off guard, Yudai lets go of your hand, grabbing you by the collar of your shirt instead and pulling you down towards him, his lips smashing against yours somewhat ungently. Your heart skips a beat at his action, and you grab onto his wrist instinctively as he kisses you. Quite in contrast to the initial impact, his lips are moving against yours at a slow pace. There's the faint taste of vanilla from the chapstick he uses these days, mixed in with the sweetness of his warm kiss, and when he finally releases you, you both have to catch your breath for a few moments.

"This," he says, barely an inch apart from you. "You can always do that when you wanna surprise me with a kiss."

"Right..." You words are merely coming out as a whisper. "I didn't... think of that..."

"And besides..." your boyfriend adds, "that's gonna make my heart race like crazy." You nod, telling yourself to remember that piece of information properly, but when he closes the distance between you two again your train of thought is cut off instantly. His lips melting against yours leaves you unable to think, and so you simply wrap your arms around his shoulders, fingers of one hand combing through the short hair at the back of his neck as he continues kissing you.
